천연염색에 사용되는 천연매염제에 관한 연구(I) - 볏짚재 -

  • This paper surveys the extraction condition of polygenetic natural dye, Sappan Wood and the effect of ash to the dyeability and fastness. The appropriate time for extracting Sappon Wood was 1hour. The pH was increased as the amount of ash increase. The pH was nearly invariable according to the time of ash solution, the extracting times and temperature. Absorbance of dyeing fabrics was about 480nm. From the result of K/S value determination of fabrics, 10g/$\ell$ quantity of ash was surfficient for treatment and the amount of Sappon Wood was in 100% o.w.f.. K/S value of fabrics pre-mordanted or post-mordanted were higher than that of fabrics simultaneous mordanted.K/S value was increased as pH of mordanting bath decrease and pre-mordanting and post-mordanting fabrics increased the amount of absorption (K/S value) compared with non-mordanted fabrics. It was found that pH of mordanting bath affected the amount of absorption and color change of dyed fabrics. Light fastness of fabric dyed was very poor and the fastness of fabric dyed was not influenced by the mordanting conditions and methods.

김해지방의 강수의 산도 및 화학적 성분 특성 (The Characteristics of Chemical Components and Acidity in the Precipitation at Kimhae Area)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the characteristics of chemical components and precipitation at Kimhae area from March, 1992 to June, 1994. The pH values, concentration of soluble ions($Cl^-$, $NO_2^-}$ $NO_3^-}$, $NO_4^{2-}$-, $PO_4^{3-}$. $F^-$, $Mg^{2+}$, $Ca^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$, $K^+) and non-soluble metals(Cr.Si. Zn, Pb, Cu, Fe, Mn, Mg, Ad. V. Cal were measured by pH meter, IC (ion Chromatography) and ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma). The data were analyzed by the dally. hourly distribution characteristics of acidity and chemical components, as well as the correlation between them. The results are as follows. 1. The pH range of precipitation was from 3.45 to 6.80 in Kimhae area. and average value was pH 4.62 and main chemical components were $SO_4^{2-}$, $Cl^-$, $NO_3^-$. The highest pH value and concentration appeared in initial rain, which might result from urbanlzation and industrialization in this area and long term transportation from China. 2. The hourly correction distribution of main anions related to pH value In the rainwater showed $SO_4^{2-}$ > $NO_3^-$ > $Cl^-$. Hourly concentration of heavy metal and each ion was highly correlated with pH in the precipitation.

  • The color difference value of fabrics dyed with browning extracts from mushroom were as follows. 1. Two hours of dyeing depending on pH at 95℃ exhibited colors of YR and Y. The color of wool and nylon was darkest brown at pH 4, but light brown or yellow as pH increased. The color of silk was darkest brown at pH 5 and pH changes resulted in the same tendency as in wool. 2. In wool the color was changed to darker brown as time prolonged, however, there was no further color change after 9hr and value and chroma of wool declined. 3. At pH 4, the increase in temperature turned colors of sil, wool and nylon into dark brown from light yellow. 4. As the result of repetitive dyeing, colors of silk, wool and nylon gradually turned into darker brown. The repetitive dyeing was more effective in dark color and high colorfastness compared to a prolonged dyeing. 5. The amount of mordant resulted in color changes between light yellow and dark brown without various color changed. 6. In color change according to methods of mordant, post-mordant with CuSO₄·5H₂O and with SnCl·2H₂O showed colors of green and light yellow, respectively.

쪽풀로부터 제조한 고형쪽과 합성인디고의 염색성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Dyeing Properties of Natural Indigo Complex Powder and Synthetic Indigo with Natural Fiber)

  • We prepared natural indigo/calcium hydroxide complex powder from tinctoria's leaf, according to the demand of developing new dyeing technique of natural fibre with natural indigo. FT- IR and UV/Visible spectra were operated to find the dyeing properties of synthetic indigo and natural indigo powder. Cotton, flax and silk fabrics were dyed with different pH, dye concentration and dyeing time. The colour yield of indigo dye was quite sensitive to dye bath pH and fabric. In synthetic indigo, the highest K/S value of dyed silk fabric was shown at near pH 9.0, and which of flax and cotton fabric were shown at pH 11.0. In other hand, in the case of natural indigo complex powder, the highest K/S value of dyed silk fabric was shown at near pH 8.0, and which of flax and cotton fabric were shown at pH 9.5∼pH 10. Mercerized cotton fabric dyed with natural indigo powder has a little antimicrobial activity.

  • Hydrogen induced cracking (HIC) is one of the hydrogen degradation phenomena of linepipe steels caused by $H_2S$ gas in the crude oil or natural gas. However, NACE TM0284-96 standard HIC test method is hard to satisfy the steel requirements for sour service application since it uses more severe environmental conditions than actual conditions. Therefore, in order to use steels effectively, it is required to evaluate HIC resistance of steels in the practical range of environmental severity. In this study, HIC resistance of two high strength low alloy (HSLA) steels being used as line pipe steels was evaluated in various test solutions with different $H_2S$ pressures and pH values. The results showed that the key parameter affecting crack area ratio (CAR) is $H_2S$ partial pressure of test solution when the pH value of test solution is not over 4. Hydrogen diffusivity was not a constant value, but it was rather affected by the hydrogen ion concentration (pH value) in the solution.

  • pH를 달리한 수용액 및 농도를 달리한 염류수용액에서 평지 종실의 단백질과 phytate의 용해도를 측정하여 단백질로부터 phytate를 제거할 수 있는 조건을 검토하였다. 1. 평지종실의 단백질과 phytate의 용해도에 미치는 pH의 영향을 측정한 결과 단백질의 용해도는 pH 5.0에저 가장 은 20.9%로 등전점을 보였고, 그 보다 산성 또는 알칼리 쪽으로 갈수록 그 용해도가 증가되어 pH 11.5에서 94.%로 가장 높았다. Phytate의 용해도는 pH 6.0에서 가장 높았으며 (61.0%) 알칼리 쪽에서 더 급격히 감소되어 pH 11.5에서는 그 용해도가 1.3%였다. 2. 단백질과 phytate의 용해도에 미치는 염류의 영향을 보면 NaCl 수용액을 처리하였을 때 단백질의 용해도는 $pH\;6.0{\sim}8.0$ 이상에서 높은 값을 보였고, 염의 농도별 차이는 크지 않았다. Phytate의 용해도는 pH 6.0이하에서는 높았으나 그 이상의 pH에서는 급격히 감소되어 pH 8.0 이상에서 6.0% 이하로 떨어졌다. $CaCl_2$ 수용액 처리에서는 단백질 용해도가 $pH\;6.0{\sim}8.0$ 부근에서 최대치를 보이나 전 pH구간에서 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. Phytate의 용해도는 $pH\;3.0{\sim}4.0$ 부근에서 최대치를 보이고 그 이상의 pH에서는 급격히 감소되어 $pH\;5.0{\sim}6.0$에서 7% 이하로 떨어졌다. 그리고 염의 농도가 높을수록 더 낮은 pH에서부터 감소를 보였다. $Na_2SO_3$ 처리에서 단백질의 용해도는 pH가 높아짐에 따라 계속 증가되어 pH 11.5에서 84% 이상이었고 phytate의 용해도는 $pH\;5.0{\sim}8.0$의 부근에서 최대치를 보이며 농도가 높을수록 더 높은 pH에서 최대치가 나타났다. 염의 농도에 따라 알칼리 쪽에서의 감소 양상이 달라졌다. 3. 저(低) $Ca^{2+}$이온 처리에서 phytate의 용해도는 pH 7.0 이상에서 $Ca^{2+}$이온의 농도별로 별차이 없이 낮았고 농도가 증가됨에 따라서 더 낮은 pH에서 최대치를 보였다. 단백질의 용해도는 pH 11.5에서 보면 $1mM\;Ca^{2+}$이온 농도에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 증류수 또는 $1mM\;Ca^{2+}$수용액을 용매로 하여 pH 11.5에서 단백질을 추출하고 pH 5.0에서 침전시킬 때 평지종실단백질로부터 Phytate를 제거하는 효과가 가장 좋다는 것을 알 수 있다.

PCP와 DDT의 독성이 담수어에 미치는 영향 (Bioassay Study on fresh Water Fish with PCP and DDT)

  • 하천 오염에서 문제시되고 있는 유기오염 물질인 PCP 와 DDT의 환경기준을 평가하고 담수어 어종간의 독성에 대한 저항성을 연구하였다. 각 어종에 대하여 24, 48, 72 및 96시간의 TL sub(m) 값을 산출하였던 바 오염물질에 대한 저항성은 오염물질의 성상에 따라 상이한 양상을 보여주었다. 실험한 10종의 담수어중 PCP 및 DDT에 저항성이 약한 어종은 N. Chrysophekadion으로 96 h-TL 하(m) 값은 0.065mg/l 과 0.0044mg/l으로 각각 나타났으며 PCP에 저항성이 강한 어종은 T. nilotica로서 96 h-TL 하(m) 값은 0.264mg/l이었으나, DDT에 대해서는 C. Siamensis로서 96 h-TL 하(m) 값은 0.0133mg/l로 평가되었다.

Protection of Minority Shareholder Investment in the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises

  • This study aims to examine the relationship of the four factors that increase the protection of minority shareholder investment. The factors are non-controlling shareholders, corporate governance, free cash flow, and shareholder wealth. The data for this study is obtained from the 2017 annual reports of 136 Thai public companies listed in the Market of Alternative Investment of Thailand (MAI). The analysis uses a multiple regression model to determine which factors encourage and which inhibit the protection of minority shareholder investment. The study tests four hypotheses. The results rejected H1 because non-controlling shareholders have negatively correlated with minority shareholder investment protection (beta -0.155 and p-value 0.050). The results accepted H2, H3 and H4 as follows. H2: corporate governance has positively correlated with minority shareholder investment protection (beta 0.17 and p-value 0.031). H3: free cash flow has positively correlated with minority shareholder investment protection (beta 0.214 and p-value 0.007). H4: shareholder wealth has positively correlated with minority shareholder investment protection (beta 0.318 and p-value 0.000). The major findings suggest strong minority shareholder investment protection was enhanced by increasing corporate governance, free cash flow and shareholder wealth. The protection of minority shareholder investment needs to reduce non-controlling shareholding pattern.

울릉매실 분말 첨가 쿠키의 품질 특성 (Quality Characteristics of Cookies Prepared with Ulleung-Maesil (Prunus mume fruit) Powder)

  • Quality characteristics effects of adding four different amounts (0%, 1%, 2%, 3%) of Ulleung-Maesil (Prunus mume fruit) powder cookie doughs were examined. pH, water content & bulk density of dough, spread factor, color value, hardness and consumer acceptability of maesil cookies were measured. The pH and water content of freezedried Ulleung-Maesil powder were 2.01 and 6.26%, respectively, while the L, a, b values were 76.14, -1.66 and 28.65, respectively. Although bulk density of the 3% powder group of cookie dough was the highest, its pH value was the lowest compared to the other groups (p < 0.05). Spread factor of the 3% group showed the lowest value among all groups (p < 0.05). Hardness of the control group (i.e, 0%) was significantly higher than the 1%, 2%, 3% groups (p < 0.05), which showed no significant difference among themselves. The ${\Delta}E$ value of cookies increased significantly with increasing Maesil powder content (p < 0.05). The consumer acceptability scores for control and 1% Maesil cookie groups ranked significantly higher than the 2% and 3% groups in overall acceptability, taste, flavor and texture (p < 0.05). In conclusion, our study suggests that small amounts of Ulleung-maesil can add positive attributes to cookies.

담배 중 pH와 Nicotine 함량에 의한 Free nicotine 측정 (Calculation of Free Nicotine by Determination of pH and Nicotine in Tobacco)

  • Characterizing nicotine delivery from tobacco products is important in the understanding of their addictive potential. Most previous studies report total nicotine and have not differentiated between nicotine in its protonated or free-base form. The amount of free nicotine calculated by determining pH and nicotine contents. The pH and nicotine contents in smokeless tobacco product, tobacco products and tobacco leaves were analyzed by Health Canada-Official Method T-310 and CORESTA Recommended Method $N^{\circ}62$. The content of free nicotine was calculated according to the Henderson-Hasselbalch equation and the value of $\alpha_{fb}$(the fraction of nicotine that is in the free base form) by using a pKa value of 8.02 for nicotine. The percentage of free nicotine then was calculated by dividing the free nicotine content by total nicotine content. The pH value and percentage of free nicotine ranged from 5.01 to 5.45 and $0.10\%\;to\;0.27\%$ in cut tobacco and 5.10 to 7.10 and $0.12\%\;to\;10.73\%$ in tobacco leaves, respectively.
