스토파드의 극적 메타포 -『이상향』을 중심으로 (Stoppard's Theatrical Metaphors in Arcadia)

  • In his 1993 stage play, Arcadia, Tom Stoppard appropriates scientific theories to dramatize the difficulty in predicting the future and in describing the past. Arcadia tracks the archaeological efforts of two present-day literary critics, Hannah Jarvis and Bernard Nightingale, as they attempt to piece together the events that occurred at a large country house called Sidley Park, from 1809 to 1812. While employing a variety of historical and cultural references to the changes taking place in British landscape gardening around the early nineteenth century, the play also turns around the intuitive-romantic versus rational-classical dichotomy represented by Hannah, and present in its discussion of science and the recoverable/irrecoverable past. Stoppard's use of chaos theory as a metaphor for the difficulties faced by those involved in biographical/bibliographical literary research suggests that unsubstantiated assumption can result in the construction of its subject, rather than in its recovery. This paper explores the way in which Stoppard uses scientific concepts, particularly the chaos theory, as a metaphor for human life and behaviour, and how he successfully describes the dilemmas and contradictions of life in so doing. Influences from his famous British predecessors, George Bernard Shaw and Oscar Wilde, are evident, but Stoppard transcends both playwrights and crafts a dramatic style distinctively his own. The combination of wit, comedy, intellectual depth, intriguing ideas, literary allusions, scientific concepts, metaphors, and cultural references, all combine to make Arcadia a dramatic edifice that will stand the test of time.

건축가 이훈우에 대한 연구 (A Research on Architect Yi Hunwoo)

  • This research focuses on the life and works of architect Yi Hunwoo, who was active in early 20th century. Yi has been previously mentioned in a few research documents, but not as a main subject of interest. Thanks to digitalized historic databases, the authors of this research were able to access more information about Yi. It was discovered that he was born in Korea in the late 19th century and then attended the Nagoya Higher Technical School in Japan. After repatriation, he participated in a few public projects in Korea as an in-house architect at the Governor-General's office, then started his own practice and produced his individual projects. He also contributed articles on innovations in residential design to newspapers. Chronologically, his activities as an architect preceeded those of Park Gilyong, who has been conventionally regarded as the first Korean modern architect so far. This research would like to establish Yi Hunwoo as a historic figure whose professional career spanned the earlier stage of the Korean modern architecture, based on the records of his life and professional activities. The authors do not wish to present the architectural analysis nor evaluation of his works, which will be subject to future researches.

분류형 규칙기반을 이용한 HVAC 시스템의 고장검출에 관한 연구 (Study on Fault Detection System used the Classified Rule-based of HVAC)

  • 건물의 공조설비(HVAC: Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)를 최적으로 운영하기 위해 현재 사용되고 있는 감시 시스템은 운영 설비의 고장이나 성능저하와 같은 결함이 발생할 경우 적절하게 고장을 검출 할 수 있는 기능이 없으며, 이에 따라 고장의 신속한 처리 및 최적 운영이 불가능하다. 이 논문에서는 특정 건물이나 시스템에서만 적용할 수 있는 모델기반 방식의 고장 검출 방법과는 달리 공조기 시스템을 구성하는 저비용이 소요되는 센서 등의 설치를 통해 건물의 공조 시스템에 포괄적으로 적용될 수 있는 분류형 규칙 기반 방식의 고장 검출 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한, 이 알고리즘을 이용한 실험 수행을 위하여 인공기후 실험 동(environment chamber, EC) 내부에 설치된 시험주택(in-house)의 공조 설비 시스템에 적용하여 그 실효성을 검증하였고 향후, 관련 분야에 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

단지형 도시근교주거의 현황 및 선호 조사 (A Study on the Housing Condition and the Residents' Preferences of the Suburban Housing Complexes)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the present housing condition of the suburban housing complex, and the residents' preferences to make their living condition better in Yong-in and Yang-pyeong, Pocheon, Kwang-ju and Kimpo in Kyung-Ki province, Korea. Questionnaire survey has been carried out to figure out the current status and residents' preferences of the Suburban housing complexes (hereafter SHC). The study showed the present status and the demands of people for their houses as a result like the below. First, currently the SHCs are managed by a joint control type, and the preferences of the residents' showed the similar way. Because of this status, the SHC planning is supposed to have the self-governing management and community space to support the activity of their community. Second, most SHCs doesn't have many public facility, in contrast, each house has various exteriors. This result shows the residents want more to develop their own houses' exterior than that of the SHC's public facility. Prior to plan the SHC, a program should be considered to give better understanding to residens what is the complexed life and make them choose what they really want to have. Third, the studied SHCs' renovation activities are commonly focussed on the exteriors. This shows the residents' life style is focussed more on the out-door life. The planning for the future SHC is supposed to have the points that could follow up the out-door friendly situations.

주거선택 자유 확대를 위한 초장기 모기지 도입 필요성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Need to Introduce Super-Long-Term Mortgage to Expand Freedom of Housing Choice)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 과열된 주택 시장을 진정시키려는 정부 정책과 주택구입희망자의 요구가 상호 양립할 수 있는 합리적 해결 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 주택 시장의 현황을 분석하고, 현재 국민들이 주택을 구매하려고 하는 근본 원인에 대해 살펴보았다. 그리고 개인의 선호에 따라 주택을 소유할 것인지, 임차할 것인지 그 선택을 도울 수 있는 초장기 모기지 제도 도입의 필요성을 제안하였다. 초장기 모기지 제도는 현재 모기지를 이용하는 대다수의 국민들이 장기 대출 상품을 선호하고 있다는 점, 집을 가지고 싶어 하는 사람들의 월상환 부담을 완화함으로써 내집마련의 기회를 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 유용할 것이다. 향후 이 제도가 도입된다면 리스크 햇지 등 안정적 운용을 위해 노력할 필요가 있다. 특히 투기 수요 견제를 통해 주택 가격의 상승을 억제하고 서민주거 안정에 기여할 수 있도록 실수요자에게 제한적으로 적용해야 할 것이다.

노인공동생활주택에 대한 지역별 견해 비교 -서울ㆍ수도권, 부산, 광주, 대전 지역을 중심으로- (Comparison of the Opinion about Senior Congregate Housing -with Special Focus to the Areas of Seoul Metropolitan Area, Busan, Gwangaju, and Daejun-)

  • The purpose of this study was 1) to analyze the attitudes about Senior Congregate Housing(SCH) among 4 urban areas, 2) to propose the various model for SCH which should be provided to satisfy the demand. Same opinions among 4 urban areas were ; 1) Whom were willing to move into SCH for later life, most of them were in early 50s. Most of the respondents desired to be serviced community alarm system, preferred one-room style, size of 11∼15 Pyung, and preferred living at suburban area. The multi-family type was preferred when not being healthy and be singled, but if healthy, preferred the type of single detached house. And they preferred the home ownership, highly valued of heating control system, health care and leisure programs. Thus for the future SCH, it should be designed all facilities were equipped with sports facilities, sauna and leisure programs. The findings indicated that the high rates of supporting with professional management for 24 hours by turn. But different opinions among 4 urban areas were; 2) Willingness live in SCH for later life had little difference in level of income, education, property. Especially, residents of Seoul Metropolitan area and Busan did not want to open their own common facilities to the public.

단독주택에 대한 울산시 거주자의 주의식 연구 (A Study of Potential Buyers' Consciousness of Single-Family Housing in Ulsan)

  • The purpose of the study was to identify the potential buyers' consciousness of single-family housing to provide useful data to help future single-family housing supplies in Ulsan. The study selected residents in Ulsan, who were over twenty and had an interest in living in a single-family housing. A survey was conducted from September 11, 2008 to September 25, 2008. The sample consisted of 364 persons who are currently live in Ulsan metropolitan area. The results are as following. About two thirds of the sample had the desire to live in a single-family housing. Moving into a single-family housing had financial preparation as the greatest issue. When moving into a single-family housing, the convenience of the residential district was the greatest consideration, whether or not it is a green environment, pollution level, etc. The potential buyers valued environment-friendly features and also had a very strong desire to own their own house. Many of them wanted to design and build their own single-family housing within a budget of 100-200 million KRW. In terms of the location, there was a higher preference for the riverside or lakeside rural areas outside the city. In terms of size, the preference was less than $330m^2$, which includes $99-132m^2$ for residential. When considering a single-family housing the direction was the most important feature, along with eco-friendly and safer materials and equipments. When building the single-family housing the potential buyers considered the community spaces first with a preference for having three bedrooms and two bathrooms. For the exterior, they wanted a unique shape of roof and there were high preferences for brown and beige colors. In terms of housing complexes, the potential buyers preferred individual unit types over complexes. If they preferred housing complexes, they wanted the cluster form complex with about 10-30 units. The complex also required a park-like setting with a guard system, which shows that convenience and safety were the most important features. In terms of complex management, they considered environmental management as the most important feature. The potential buyers were willing to pay belw 200,000 KRW, which showed their desire to minimize financial burdens.

수도권 주택가격 결정요인 변화 연구 (Variation of Determinant Factor for Seoul Metropolitan Area's Housing and Rent Price in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 글로벌 금융위기 이후 침체양상을 지속하고 있는 수도권 주택시장과 관련하여, 금융위기 이후 주택가격 결정요인의 변화를 벡터오차수정(VAR)모형을 통해 분석하였다. 글로벌 금융위기가 발생한 2008년 3분기를 기준으로 이전과 현재까지로 거시경제변수와 주택가격변수간의 동태적 관계를 보기 위해 충격반응도와 분산분해 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과를 정리하면 먼저 수도권 주택매매가격의 경우 금융위기 이후에 전세가격과 주택매매가격 자체의 변화에 의해 더 영향을 받는 것으로 나타난 반면, 금융위기 이전에 주택매매가격에 미치는 영향력이 큰 것으로 나타났던 종합주가지수와 국고채 수익률은 금융위기 이후 영향력이 사라진 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 수도권 주택전세가격의 경우 금융위기 이전과 이후 모든 기간에서 다른 변수들보다 주택매매가격과 주택전세가격 자체의 영향력이 크게 나타난 가운데, 금융위기 이전에는 종합주가지수와 생산자물가가 영향을 미치고 실질GDP는 별다른 영향을 주지 못했다면, 금융위기 이후에는 역으로 실질GDP의 영향력이 크게 나타났고 생산자물가와 종합주가지수는 별다른 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 분석되었다. 이와 같이 경제불안의 지속으로 인해 수도권 주택매매 및 전세가격은 실질GDP와 같은 실물경기에 더 크게 영향을 받게 된 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 최근의 주택가격의 하락은 유럽재정위기 등으로 인해 지속되고 있는 국내경제 불확실성을 감안할 때 회복세는 크게 제한될 것으로 보이며, 향후 주택경기를 활성화시키기 위해서는 금융 및 공급규제 완화 등의 대책보다는 경제활성화를 통한 구매력 제고에 집중할 필요가 있을 것이다.

보건진료원(保健診療員) 훈련생(訓練生)의 제특성(諸特性) 및 교육실태(敎育實態) 분석(分析) - 1982년도(年度) 보건진료원(保健診療員) 훈련생(訓練生)을 대상(對象)으로 - (Analysis of the Status of CHP Trainees and the Management of CHP Training Course)

  • A special law on health care for rural areas was enacted, as of Dec. 31, 1980, in order to provide effective health care service in rural areas through the primary health care approach. The implementation of the PHC developed the CHP(Community Health Practitioner) and provided the training program lasted 24 weeks. The qualification of CHP is a registered nurses or midwivies. This study was conducted in order to analyze the characteristics of trainees of CHP and training environments. The data was collected from personal questionnaire by means of mailing. Respondent was 338 out of 356 trainees. The summary of the findings are as follows : 1) The 38.0% out of trainees is 25-29 years of age (minimum : 20, maximum 55, mean : 30.3). 2) The 59.0% of respondent come from county area and the 52.5% are married. 3) The 61.0% didn't receive any in-service education. 4) In their experience related to health care service, the 29.8% of them experienced during 4 year 6 year and the 50.8% of the holders in experience was engaged in clinical field. 5) As to motivation of application of CHP, the 55.1% respond to "Independently workable" and the 35.1% respond to "Worthwhile". 6) The 45.1% got any information sources on CHP from Newsletter of KNA. 7) The 46.8% of respondent showed that instructor had utilized both teaching materials and reference book. 8) During the training, the 49.4% stayed at own house but the 35.0% stayed with lodgings and flat. 9) The 52.8% of trainees comment on very short of living allowance. 10) The 19.3% of respondent is willing to serve as CHP for ten years or more, but the 42.1% respond to serve for obligation namely 2 years. This study result could be utilized as a basic data for improving the CHP training program and management of the CHP's field activity in the future.

국내 노인 대상 우울 중재프로그램에 대한 체계적 고찰 (The systemic contemplation of sadness mediation program applied to internal senior citizens)

  • 본 연구는 노인의 우울 프로그램의 발전적인 연구 방향을 모색하고자 1990년에서 2014년까지 학술지에 게재된 노인의 우울 중재프로그램에 관한 총 119편의 연구물에 대해 연구실태와 연구동향을 분석하였으며 결과는 다음과 같다. 연구대상의 출판연도는 2010년부터 2014년까지, 연구 설계는 실험군-통제군 설계가, 성별에서는 통합(여성, 남성)이, 연구실시 지역은 중소도시가 가장 많았으며, 노인의 거주지는 재가인 경우, 척도의 대다수는 외국의 연구자의 것을 수정 보완하여 사용하였다. 중재방법에 대한 프로그램명을 보면 예술치료가, 우울 중재프로그램 실시 총회기는 10회 이하, 주 1회 1회기 활동시간은 60분이하가 높게 차지하고 있었다. 또한 연구대상의 효과변수는 신체적 기능, 자아존중감, 인지기능 순으로 효과 검증을 하였다. 본 연구는 노인의 우울개선 프로그램의 경향을 분석한 첫 연구로서 앞으로 노인의 우울과 관련된 융 복합적인 연구방향 설정에 도움이 될 것으로 생각된다.
