자발 성장법으로 성장된 단결정 Bi 단일 나노선의 정상 자기 저항 특성 (Ordinary Magnetoresistance of an Individual Single-crystalline Bi Nanowire)

  • 단결정 Bi단일 나노선의 정상 자기 저항(ordinary magnetoresistance) 특성을 $2{\sim}300K$에서 4 단자법으로 측정하였다. I-V 측정을 통해 전기적 오믹 형성을 확인하였고, 2 K과 300 K에서 비저항이 각각 $1.0{\times}10^{-4}$$8.2{\times}10^{-5}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$으로 측정되었다. 수직(transverse) 및 수평(longitudinal) 자기저항비(MR ratio)가 110 K와 2 K에서 각각 현재까지 보고된 MR 중 가장 큰 2496%와 -38%으로 관찰되었으며, 이 결과는 자발 성장법으로 성장된 Bi 나노선의 결정성이 매우 우수한 단결정임을 증명한다. simple two band(STB) 모델을 통해 Bi 나노선의 수직 및 수평 정상 자기 저항(OMR) 거동이 온도에 따른 페르미 준위(Fermi level)와 밴드 겹침(band overlap)등의 전자 구조 변화 및 운반자 농도 변화로 잘 설명된다.

핵의학 영상에서 계수기반 체적변화 추적에 관한 고찰 (A Study on the Tracking of Count-Based Volumetric Changes in Nuclear Medicine Imaging)

  • Purpose: Quantitative analysis through count measurement in nuclear medicine planar images is limited by analysis techniques that are useful for obtaining various clinical information or by organ overlap or artifacts in actual clinical practice. On the other hand, the use of SPECT tomography images is quantitative analysis using volume rather than planar, which is not only free from problems such as projection overlap, but also has excellent quantitative accuracy. In the use of developing SPECT quantitative analysis technology, this study aims to compare the accuracy of quantitative analysis between ROI of the conventional planar images and VOI of the SPECT tomographic images in evaluating the count change happened by the volume change of the source. Materials and Methods: A 99mTcO4- source(200.17 MBq) was filled with sterilized water in the syringe to create a phantom with an inner diameter volume of 60 cc, and a planar image and a SPECT image were obtained by reducing the volume by 15 cc (25%) respectively. ROI and VOI(threshold: 1~45%, 5% interval) were set for each image obtained to estimate true count and measure the total count, and compared with the preseted volumetric change rate(%). Results: When volume changes of 25%, 50%, and 75% occurred in the initial volume of 60 cc(100%) of the phantom, the average count changes of the measured planar image were 26.8%, 53.2%, 77.5%, and the average count changes of the SPECT image were 24.4%, 50.9%, and 76.8%. In this case, the VOI size(cm3) set showed an average change rate of 25.4%, 51.1%, and 76.6%. The highest threshold value for the accuracy of radioactive concentration by VOI size (average error -1.03%) was 35%, and the VOI size of the same threshold had an error of -17.1% on average compared to the actual volume. Conclusion: On average, the count-based volumetric change rate in nuclear medicine images was able to track changes more accurately using VOI than ROI, but there was no significant difference with relatively similar value. However, the accuracy of radioactive concentration according to individual VOI sizes did not match, but it is considered that a relatively accurate quantitative analysis can be expected when the size of VOI is set smaller than the actual volume.

  • Poly (sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) 수용액에 대한 3 MHz의 초음파 음속측정과 0.2-2.2 MHz의 범위에 대한 흡수계수를 측정하였다. 음속은 펄스법을 사용하여 농도 5-25 wt%, 온도 10-90 ℃에 대하여 측정한 결과, 농도 25, 20, 15, 10, 5 wt%에 대한음속의 최대치 온도는 각각 55, 59, 63, 67, 71 ℃이였다. 흡수계수측정은 광 회절 초음파공명법을 사용하여 농도 5-25 wt%, 20 ℃에서 행하였다. 그 결과, 200 kHz부근에서 고분자 chain의 부분운동에 의한 완화현상을, 1 MHz 부근에서는 술폰기 (SO₃)의 proton의 전이에 의한 완화현상을 각각 관측하였다. 흡수계수와 점성은 농도와 함께 증가하였으나 온도증가에 대해서는 감소하였다.

감귤류 펙틴 용액의 리올리지 특성 (Rheological Properties of Citrus Pectin Solutions)

  • 고유점도가 3.75 dL/g인 감귤류 펙틴 용액의 전단점도 및 점탄성에 대한 농도의존성을 연구하였다. 전형적인 자수법칙 흐름 현상이 2.0% 이상의 펙틴 농도에서 관찰되었으며, 전단점도의 전단속도 의존성은 농도의 증가에 따라 더욱 뚜렷하게 나타났다. ${\eta}_{sp.o}$$C[\eta]$를 양대수 좌표에 그렸을 때 묽은 영역에서 진한 영역으로의 전이를 나타내는 $C^{*}[\eta]$는 약 4.0이었으며, 이때 ${\eta}_{sp.o}$의 값은 약 10.0을 나타내었다. 묽은 용액$(C[\eta]과 진한 용액$(C[\eta]>C^{*}[\eta])$에서 ${\eta}_{sp.o}$ $C[\eta]$의 기울기는 각각 1.1과 4.5였다. 전단점도를 ${\eta}/{\eta_0}$${\gamma}/{\gamma}_{0.8}$에 대하여 그렸을 때 $2{\sim}5%$의 농도에서는 잘 중첩되었으나, 6%의 고농도에서는 중첩곡선에서 벗어나는 현상을 보였다. 펙틴 용액의 점탄성을 조사한 결과 전 농도범위에서 손실탄성률$(G^{\prime\prime})$의 값이 저장탄성률$(G^\prime)$보다 훨씬 높은 값을 보여 점성이 전체 점탄성을 지배하는 것으로 나타났다. 저 농도에서 전단점도는 복소점도와 거의 비슷한 값을 보여 Cox-Merz 법칙에 잘 부합하였으나, 농도가 높아질수록 두 값은 차이를 보였다.

LCD Module내 COF Bending에 따른 Lead Broken Failure의 개선 (Improvement of COF Bending-induced Lead Broken Failure in LCD Module)

  • TCP(Tape Carrier Package), COG (Chip On Glass), COF(Chip On Film) are three methods for connecting LDI(LCD Driver IC) with LCD panels. Especially COF is growing its portion of market place because of low cost and fine pitch correspondence. But COF has a problem of the lead broken failure in LCD module process and the usage of customer. During PCB (Printed Circuit Board) bonding process, the mismatch of the coefficient of thermal expansion between PCB and D-IC makes stress-concentration in COF lead, and also D-IC bending process during module assembly process makes the level of stress in COF lead higher. As an affecting factors of lead-broken failure, the effects of SR(Solder Resister) coating on the COF lead, surface roughness and grain size of COF lead, PI(Polyimide) film thickness, lead width and the ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film) overlap were studied, The optimization of these affecting manufacturing processes and materials were suggested and verified to prevent the lead-broken failure.

Determination of optimal parameters for perforated plates with quasi-triangular cutout by PSO

  • This study tries to examine the effect of different parameters on stress analysis of infinite plates with central quasi-triangular cutout using particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm and also an attempt has been made to introduce general optimum parameters in order to achieve the minimum amount of stress concentration around this type of cutout on isotropic and orthotropic plates. Basis of the presented method is expansion of analytical method conducted by Lekhnitskii for circular and elliptical cutouts. Design variables in this study include fiber angle, load angle, curvature radius of the corner of the cutout, rotation angle of the cutout and at last material of the plate. Also, diagrams of convergence and duration time of the desired problem are compared with Simulated Annealing algorithm. Conducted comparison is indicative of appropriateness of this method in optimization of the plates. Finite element numerical solution is employed to examine the results of present analytical solution. Overlap of the results of the two methods confirms the validity of the presented solution. Results show that by selecting the aforementioned parameters properly, less amounts of stress can be achieved around the cutout leading to an increase in load-bearing capacity of the structure.

분말 용가재판을 사용한 광폭 오버레이용 트윈토치 GMAW 공정개발 (Development of GMAW Process with Twin Torch for Wide Overlay using Compound Filler Plate)

  • Generally, wear plate is steel plate having improved surface contact strength and impact strength by surface hardening which is welded using materials with good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and thermal resistance property. CFP GMAW(Compound Filler Plate Gas Metal Arc Welding) is the cladding method using GMAW with the CFP, which is bound with waterglass, on the substrate. It has advantages of reducing compound powder loss, uniform penetration, and preventing hardness decrease. To develope mass production technique of CFP GMAW process for production of high quality wear plate, the method for controling shallow penetration and increasing productivity is required. In this study, twin torch method applied to CFP GMAW process for increasing productivity. And the method was developed by controling penetration control, CFP dry time, gas formation flux and water glass concentration. As a result, applying twin torch method to CFP GMAW process was possible and high quality wide bead could be made without overlap joint.

Explaining the Drift Behavior of Caffeine and Glucosamine After Addition of Ethyl Lactate in the Buffer Gas of an Ion Mobility Spectrometer

  • Protonated caffeine ($CH^+$) and glucosamine ($GH^+$) overlapped in an analysis with ion mobility spectrometryquadrupole mass spectrometry. Ethyl lactate vapor (L) at different concentrations from 0 to 22 mmol $m^{-3}$ was added as a buffer gas modifier to separate these signals. The drift times of $CH^+$ and $GH^+$ increased with L concentration. The drift time increase was associated to clustering equilibria of $CH^+$ and $GH^+$ with one molecule of L and the equilibrium of $GH^+$ was more displaced to the formation of $GLH^+$ than that of $GLH^+$. $GH^+$ clustered more to L than $CH^+$ because $GLH^+$ formed more stable hydrogen bonds (26.30 kcal/mol) than $GLH^+$ (24.66 kcal/mol) and the positive charge in $GH^+$ was more sterically accessible than in $CH^+$. The aim of this work was to use theoretical calculations to guide the selection of a buffer gas modifier for IMS separations of two compounds that overlap in the mobility spectra and predict this separation, simplifying that empirical process.

해수분위기에서 스테인리스강 배관 소켓 용접부의 선택적 부식 (Selective Corrosion of Socket Welds of Stainless Steel Pipes Under Seawater Atmosphere)

  • Stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance. The drawback is that pitting occurs easily due to the concentration of chloride. In addition, corrosion of socket weld, which is structurally and chemically weaker than the other components of the pipe, occurs rapidly. Since these two phenomena overlap, pinhole leakage occurs frequently in the seawater pipe socket welds made of stainless steel at the power plants. To analyze this specific corrosion, a metallurgical analysis of the stainless steel socket welds, where the actual corrosion occurred during the power plant operation, was performed. The micro-structure and chemical composition of each socket weld were analyzed. In addition, selective corrosion of the specific micro-structure in a mixed dendrite structure comprising γ-austenite (gamma-phase iron) and δ-ferrite (iron at high temperature) was investigated based on the characteristic micro-morphology and chemical composition of the corroded area. Finally, the different corrosion stages and characteristics of socket weld corrosion are summarized.

접착제 접합된 자연섬유강화 복합재료의 파괴강도 특성에 미치는 접착제 필릿의 영향 (Effect of Spew Fillet on Failure Strength Properties of Natural Fiber Reinforced Composites Including Adhesive Bonded Joints)

  • This paper is concerned with a study on fracture strength of composites in an adhesive single lap joint. The tests were carried out on joint specimens made with hybrid stacked composites consisting of the polyester and bamboo natural fiber layer. The main objective of this work was to evaluate the fracture properties adjacent to adhesive bonded joint of natural fiber reinforced composite specimens. From the results, natural fiber reinforced composites have lower tensile strength than the original polyester. But tensile-shear strength of natural fiber reinforced composites with bamboo layer far from adhesive bond is as high as that of the original polyester adhesive bonded joints. Spew filet at the end of the overlap reduced the stress concentration at the bonded area. Spew fillet and position of bamboo natural fiber layer have a peat effect on the tensile-shear strength of natural fiber reinforced composites including adhesive bonded joints.
