The purpose of this study was to find out the factors which were related to the delinquent behaviors among 2nd years high school in Geoje, Korea. The subjects were 618 high school students. Data were collected by self-reported questionnaires from March to April, 2007. Data were analyzed by SPSS WIN 12.0 program with mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. Students' delinquent behaviors differed by experience of smoking, experience of drinking, harmony of family, mother's education, father's smoking mother's smoking, academical class, satisfaction of school-life, friends who smoked, drank alcohol, did drugs, and punished friends. Students' stress and depression had positive correlation with their delinquent behaviors. The result of stepwise multiple regression showed that punished friends, experience of smoking, depression, father's smoking satisfaction of school-life were significant related factors to delinquent behaviors among high school students. It is necessary for home, school, and community to cooperate with each other in preventing high school students from delinquent behaviors.
The purpose of this study was to examine the use of social commerce restaurant products by college students according to demographic characteristics and eating out behavior. The questionnaire for the survey was distributed to 450 college students, who have experiences of purchasing a restaurant product on social commerce, with 286 responses used for analysis. From the result, college students frequently use smart phones and SNS for making such purchases. While the awareness of social commerce was high, they sometimes visited the websites and purchased products. The awareness and purchase experience of Coupang and Ticket Monster turned out to be the highest. The most frequently purchased product was restaurant discount coupons, followed by fashion/accessories, movie or concert tickets, food products, and beauty shop discount coupons. The discount rate was mostly 30 to 40% on average. The most significantly considered matter in purchasing products and services was product quality, followed by discount rate and consumer review. The respondents ate out at least 3 to 5 times a week, spent $100,000{\leq}200,000$ won, and were generally satisfied with the restaurant products from social commerce sites. The main satisfaction reason was price, whereas the dissatisfaction reason was false and puffy advertising. Service quality improvement and variety of category were the most necessary factors for improvement. Among the demographic characteristics, there was a difference in purchase expenditure of social commerce restaurant products, as well as purpose, companion, time used and word-of-mouth experience according to gender. According to grade, there was a difference in purchase expenditure, companion, area of use and impulsive purchase. Among the eating out behavior, there was a difference in purpose, companion and word-of-mouth experience according to the eating out frequency. Meanwhile, there was a difference in purchase expenditure, companion, time used, word-of-mouth experience and tool according to the eating out cost.
The purpose of this study is to investigate correlation between experience of visiting the dentist and oral symptoms with 10,701 high school seniors in the research data of the 8th juvenile online health behavior carried out in 2012. The results of this research showed that the lower academic grades, the more tooth crack they experienced, and the lower economic conditions, the more toothache they tended to experience. The main reasons they visited the dentist were because their teeth ached, tingled or throbbed with pain. Scores of oral symptoms, sex, economic conditions and the number of experience of visiting the dentist were found to have a significant correlation. In order to improve high school students' dental health continually, we need to install the school dental health room and need to systemize continuous dental health care system for high school students, along with development of various school dental health education programs, by vitalizing prevention based school dental health education.
The aim of this research is to find out the common emotional factors that elementary school teachers feel when they experience in teaching children with ADHD and to know their responding process through experiential analysis. Seven elementary school teachers took part in this research as co-investigators, and I led the experiential approach. The co-investigators have analyzed their emotional experiences during 4 sessions. They learnt about the method of experience analysis and discussed their emotional experiences of children with ADHD. And they found out some factors concerning their emotional experiences and had the time to discuss in odor to search for the common factors of that process. Finally the co-investigators took part in a session to examine the factors which they have all agreed in, and then I verified this result. 1 interpreted the factors found and constructed a psychological resolution process. Two main objectives and the results of this research are as follows. First, are there any common factors among teachers who experience in treating children with ADHD? This research showed that elementary school teachers get angry and irritated with ADHD children's troubles. Second, what kind of psychological process is there in teachers' experiences children with ADHD? The psychological process of teachers dealing children with ADHD could be conceptualized in 5 steps, the step of recognizing an action of children with ADHD, the step of first cognitive consideration, the step of giving meaning and cognitive appraisal, the step of experiencing emotion, and the step of dealing with emotion. Teachers seemed to experience a little bit different psychological process. According to whether they thought about children's behavior positively or negatively in the second step, they had different emotional experiences. If they had a positive thought, they could take children's nonadaptive behaviors as personal characteristics. However, if they took them negatively, they considered them impolite and disobedient. Even when the teachers experienced negative emotions, their responses were divided into two groups whether they took it positively or negatively. This research showed that if teachers could control their negative emotional experiences, they could calm down with children with ADHD and treat them positively.
Purposes: This study examined the relationship between risk behaviors and sexual knowledge, sexual attitudes, and sexual experiences of male high school students. Method: A cross-sectional, descriptive study was conducted. Data were collected from 2 male high schools in metropolitan Gwangju. Five hundred forty-eight boys were enrolled in this study. Descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test or ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation were used for data analysis. Results: The mean sexual knowledge and sexual experience scores were relatively low, 0.60 out of 1 point, and 0.75 out of 4 points, respectively. Three attitude types of the students were identified: permissible, conservative and pleasure seeking attitude. The score of the permissible type was affected by the subjects' exposure to pornographic material. The score of the conservative type was affected by alcohol consumption and acquaintances with a heterosexual friend. The score of the pleasure seeking type was affected by their exposure to pornographic material, alcohol consumption, smoking, going to a video-room, and acquaintances with a heterosexual friend. There was a negative correlation between the permissible type and sexual knowledge, and a positive correlation between the conservative and pleasure seeking types and sexual experience. Conclusion: Male high school students who have been exposed to risk behaviors have a higher likelihood of indulging in sexual activity, and the pleasure seeking type appears to be related to sexual experience. An educational program may be needed to prevent risky behaviors and sexual experiences in male high school students considering their sexual attitude type.
purpose of this work was to study the applied effects of out-of-class Chemical Experience Learning (CEL) Programs on scientific process skills and science-related attitude for middle school students. The out-of-class CEL Programs which were developed to make the funny out-of-class chemistry and the exciting science class', included the nature-friendly chemical experiments suitable for natural environment and composed of real life-centered experiences. The out-of-class CEL programs were applied to natural environment through all-day improvement activity. The science club students in D middle school in Busan were selected as the objects of the study consisting of one experiment group and one control group. The out-of-class CEL programs were applied to the experiment group and traditional class method was applied to the control group. The change of scientific process skills and science-related attitudes between two groups were compared and analyzed. And students reaction on the out-of-class CEL programs was investigated. As a result, out-of-class nature-friendly chemical experiments were improved scientific process skills and science-related attitudes of middle school students. Also, more than 70% of students in the experimental group gave positive feedbacks to the out-of-class CEL programs and increased attention, interest, and degree of self-participation in science.
The research carried out to analyze the change of recognition of elementary school students after a forest experience to determine the effectiveness of the environmental education in elementary school curriculum. The data is collected through surveys before and after forest experience for 311 people on 2nd and 3rd grades of two elementary school in Jeonju city, then the conclusions analyzed the results of the surveys are as follows. Students who participated in the forest experience show a positive change in all areas after the forest experience, for example, awareness of the forest and behavior recognition in the forest, the need for commentary about the forest. Especially, the area of the behavior recognition has much significant result than the other areas. In the details of the behavior recognition, a behavior recognition and environmental awareness for the life of the forest have been greatly improved. From the results described above, the forest experience can be seen a great help to elementary school students to have a respect and dignity of life and recognize the importance of the natural environment. Thus, the nature experience such as the forest experience is needed to enhance the life respect and environmental consciousness, foster sensitivity to natural cycles. In order that much more elementary school student can participate in evironmetal education through the forest experience, it would suggest to perform the forest experience as creative and experiential activities in the school curriculum.

This study, with teachers form elementary schools in Chungju-si as its subjects, has investigated influence of school forest on satisfaction with school greenspace and environmental education. It has reached the following conclusions. As for recognition of and satisfaction of school greenspace there were meaningful differences between teachers form school forest model schools and ones from common schools, which was thought to be due to positive effects of school forest movement. It appeared that environmental education was carried out through audio-visual materials once a week in most schools. On the other hand, as for class places, 'classroom in parallel with outdoor class' and 'classroom education' appeared to be carried out most frequently in the case of school forest model schools, and 'classroom education' in the case of common schools. However, considering the fact that 'field learning' the most important element in environmental education, appeared to be carried out least frequently in both of the groups, which suggests that we should improve it for future through introduction of various field-experience learning programs. As a result of the survey of satisfaction with environmental education, some meaningful differences were recognized between school forest schools and common schools, and 'presence or absence of field learning spaces' was the most frequently answered reason for 'satisfied' and 'unsatisfied'. Thus, 'schools' and related institutions' enthusiastic efforts are needed for providing field-experience spaces where children can directly access to and explore into nature.
Central commissary school foodservice operations' practices and their dietitians' job duties were assessed and compared with those of their counterpart of conventional school foodservice operations to find out strategies for early settlement and better management for commissary system. Survey qestionnaires consisted of general background, employees' work schedule and dietitians' job duties. 12 commissary schools(out of 22 existing in Korea) and 77 conventional schools from Kyungkido were participated in the survey. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. Central commissary school foodservice was presently utilized at 5 schools from islands type, 11 schools from rural type, and 6 schools from urban type, consisting total of 22 commissary schools, and 52 satellite schools. 2. Dietitians were evenly employed with their experiences, 55.5% were those with less than 2 years of experience, 44.6% were those with more than 2 years of experience. 3. Commissary schools employed more full-time empolyees$(1.8{\pm}0.7)$ than conventional schools$(0.3{\pm}0.5)$, however as far as the production capacity was concerned, only the part-time employees played significant roles(p<.01). Regardless of the number of students, an absolute number of full-time employees were employed, and their duties were not carried out efficiently. The part-time employees of commissary schools performed more loaded work compared to their counterparts in conventional schools. 4. Out of the dietitians' foodservice duties, 'basic food service production$(3.9{\pm}0.7)$' were carried out adequately, whereas 'nutrition education and advertisement$(2.5{\pm}0.6)$' and 'administrative affairs and information related duties$(2.8{\pm}0.9)$' were not. In order to enhance their working capacity, systematic organizational reforms are imminent. 5. Survey results also showed that dietitians performed less duties at satellite school than at the central commissary. This indicates more systematic foodservice management practices are urgently needed.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate the oral health behavior according to oral health education experience in the elementary school teachers and to provide the basic data for the development of oral health education program. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 239 elementary school teachers in Busan and Ulsan from May 7 to 31, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics of the subjects, use of oral health devices, dental clinic visit within a year, purpose of dental clinic visit, subjective oral health condition, place and contents of oral health education, future contents of oral health education, purpose of tooth brushing, recognition of sealant, recognition of dental caries prevention effect of fluoride, and method and frequency of tooth brushing. Data were analyzed by Predictive Analysis Software(PASW) Statistics $19.0^{(R)}$(SPSS Inc., Chicago IL, USA). Results: Of the 239 teachers, 187 teachers had oral health education experience and 52 did not. Those who had oral health education experience reported higher scores in tooth brushing than those who did not. 59.4% of the respondents answered the experience of oral health education in dental clinics. Conclusions: Oral health behavior was different from the experience of oral health education in the elementary school teachers. The teachers are the most important persons influencing on the right tooth brushing habit in the students. So the teachers must take the continuing and systematic oral health education.
