Detection of Malicious Code using Association Rule Mining and Naive Bayes classification (연관규칙 마이닝과 나이브베이즈 분류를 이용한 악성코드 탐지)

  • Although Open API has been invigorated by advancements in the software industry, diverse types of malicious code have also increased. Thus, many studies have been carried out to discriminate the behaviors of malicious code based on API data, and to determine whether malicious code is included in a specific executable file. Existing methods detect malicious code by analyzing signature data, which requires a long time to detect mutated malicious code and has a high false detection rate. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose a method that analyzes and detects malicious code using association rule mining and an Naive Bayes classification. The proposed method reduces the false detection rate by mining the rules of malicious and normal code APIs in the PE file and grouping patterns using the DHP(Direct Hashing and Pruning) algorithm, and classifies malicious and normal files using the Naive Bayes.

DS-SS/TDMA Preamble Structure and Code Acquisition Method for Enhanced Code Acquisition Performance (부호획득 성능이 향상된 DS-SS/TDMA 프리앰블 구조 및 부호획득방법)

  • In this paper, we proposed preamble structure and code acquisition method to improve code acquisition performance for DS-SS/TDMA packet communication systems. Proposed algorithm changes the short PN code position depending on the sub slot number. Proposed algorithm also saves position differences between short PN codes and position offsets between short PN codes and data starting position of the TDMA packet. By using the position difference table, proposed algorithm can find out exact data starting position even though some sub slots were defected. As a result of simulation, we concluded that proposed algorithm has at least 5dB gain compared to conventional method when same short PN code is used. Moreover, proposed algorithm shows same code acquisition performance only with 1/4 shortened short PN code compared to conventional method.

  • The code WIMS-AECL has been used for the lattice analysis of DUPIC fuel. The lattice parameters calculated by the code is sensitive to the choice of number of parameters, such as the number of tracking lines, number of condensed groups, mesh spacing in the moderator region, other parameters vital to the calculation of probabilities and burnup analysis. We have studied this sensitivity with respect to these parameters and recommend their proper values which are necessary for carrying out the lattice analysis of DUPIC fuel.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the housing behavior through the code's housing history. The data were collected by open descriptive answering of 28 students in Y.University. The major findings are as follows: The characteristics of code's housing history were changed by stages of family life. The greastes changes are in the stage of elementary school(3rd stage). Before the 3rd stage, living in out of town, detached house, rental house is to superior than town(Dae Gu). Apt.. own house. And housing adaptation is to superior than housing adjustment. After 3rd stage go by contraies.

A Comparisons of TCM schemes for OFDM in fading channel (페이딩 채널에서 OFDM에 적용 가능한 TCM방식 비교분석)

  • In this paper, it was studied that the performance of OFDM transmission scheme was improved in fading channel by applying TCM, which has advantages of error correction and bandwidth efficiency. Simulation was carried out for two TCM models with different code efficient length. By mapping two models to square 16QAM, the model with the code efficient length of 2 achieved 3㏈ better than the other for the BER of 10$^{-3}$ . In conclusion, if we want to achieve a better performance with TCM in OFDM applications, we should select a TCM with langer code efficient length.

  • In this paper, we propose a multiple access scheme using MHP(Modified Hermite Polynomial) pulse and ternary code for high-data and low-data rate for Out-body WBAN(Wireless Body Area Network). To satisfy the requirement of WBAN system, UWB-IR has been considered as a promising candidate for Out-body WBAN. The proposed multiple access scheme, using orthogonal MHP pulse and ternary code sets, reduces multi-user interference and distinguishes user signal from multi-user signals. We propose two algorithms for synchronous and asynchronous WBAN system. The symbol is constructed by MHP pulses and time hopping duration to reduce multi-user interference in the synchronous WBAN system. The symbol also is constructed by ternary code to avoid collision between pulse trains in the asynchronous WBAN system. The results of the proposed multiple access scheme show a clear improvement of BER.

  • A Numerical simulation for the propulsion of axisymmetric body by contractive and dilative motion is carried out. The present analysis shows that a propulsive force can be obtained in highly viscous fluid by a contractive and dilative motion of axisymmetric body. An axisymmetric analysis code is developed with unstructured grid system for the simulation of complicated motion and geometry. The developed code is validated by comparing with the results of stokes approximation with the problem of uniform flow past a sphere in low Reynolds number($R_n=1$). The validated code is applied to the simulation of contractive and dilative motion of body. The simulation is extended to the analysis of waving surface with projecting part for finding out the difference of hydrodynamic performance according to the variation of waving surface configuration. The present study will be the basic research for the development of the propulsor of an axisymmetric micro-hydro-machine.

Overestimation of Ultimate Tendon Stress in a Prestressed Concrete Beam with Unbonded Tendons (비부착 긴장재를 갖는 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 보에서 긴장재 응력의 과대평가)

  • The present study is to examine the ACI code equations for computing the unbonded tendon stress at flexural failure of prestressed beams. The equations examined for their validity are Eq. 18-4 and Eq. 18-5 of the ACI 318-95. Since the possibility of overestimation was expected with the equations, a numerical study, first, was carried out with influential variables included. From this study, it was found that amount of reinforcements, effective prestress, location of tendons, and loading type may affect the overestimation of the unbonded tendon stress. Then, an experimental study was carried out with those variables. A total of 8 specimens was tested to prove the theoretical findings as well as the effect of those variables. As a result. it was proven that the ACI Code equations can overestimate significantly the unbonded tendon stress for certain cases.

Seismic behavior of circular-in-square concrete-filled high-strength double skin steel tubular stub columns with out-of-code B/t ratios

  • Aiming at the development trend of light weight and high strength of engineering structures, this paper experimentally investigated the seismic performance of circular-in-square high-strength concrete-filled double skin steel tubular (HCFDST) stub columns with out-of-code width-to-thickness (B/t) ratios. Typical failure mode of HCFDST stub columns appeared with the infill material crushing, steel fracture and local buckling of outer tubes as well as the inner buckling of inner tubes. Subsequently, the detailed analysis on hysteretic curves, skeleton curves and ductility, energy dissipation, stiffness degradation and lateral force reduction was conducted to reflect the influences of hollow ratios, axial compression ratios and infill types, e.g., increasing hollow ratio from 0.54 to 0.68 and 0.82 made a slight effect on bearing capacity compared to the ductility coefficients; the higher axial compression ratio (e.g., 0.3 versus 0.1) significantly reduced the average bearing capacity and ductility; the HCFDST column SCFST-6 filled with concrete obviously displayed the larger initial secant stiffness with a percentage 34.20% than the column SCFST-2 using engineered cementitious composite (ECC); increasing hollow ratios, axial compression ratios could accelerate the drop speed of stiffness degradation. The out-of-code HCFDST stub columns with reasonable design could behave favorable hysteretic performance. A theoretical model considering the tensile strength effect of ECC was thereafter established and verified to predict the moment-resisting capacity of HCFDST columns using ECC. The reported research on circular-in-square HCFDST stub columns can provide significant references to the structural application and design.

  • In this study, using DEFORM and PAM-STAMP drawbead analysis is carried out for the commercial code availability. The three drawbead types, single circular drawbead, single square drawbead and double circular drawbead, are examined. The clamping force, drawing force and effective strain of sheet metal which is passed by drawbead are checked on each drawbeads.
