전략적 관점에서 본 전자상거래 비즈니스 모델의 측정도구 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Measurement Instruments for the Business Model of Electronic Commerce in the Strategic Perspective)

  • The purpose of this study Is to develop empirically validated instrument for business model. The previous researches related to business model were almost taxonomies. And the focus of those researches were the classification by the degree of integration and innovation the origin, and the main source of revenue etc. In the emerging fields such as IT, e-commerce, and e-business, it tends to overlook methodological issue in its substantive relationships and also measurement. Business model is taken an interest in recent years. However, as the non-establishment of construct on business model has made no empirical study, this, study tries to develop an empirical validated instrument that identifies the dimensions of business model by uncovering meaningful group or categories. For this, the outlined domain of business model are defined as an organizational level that competes in the industry through the literature reviews. And the traits such as process integration, value chain reconstruction, strategic alliance with another business model, specialty in a certain wet sustainability of essential capabilities, differentiation, convertibility, customer orientation, revenue stream, newness, innovation leadership: and vision sharing are identified in those respective domains, and then the traits are classified into five dimensions such as interlinkageableness, valueness, functionalness, preemptiveness, and goalness by their characteristics. Generating items are continued on the basis of operationalization. Confirmatory factor analysis is performed in order to develop validated instrument with LISREL measurement model. Finally the instrument is developed through the previous procedure. The implication of this study is the first empirical effort to assess business model. The resulting instrument can be used with dependent variables in the future study related to business model. And the establishment of construct of business model is able to make a basis to rise an additional issue consequently. In the practical side, the instrument also can be employed as an assessment framework that can assess whether the expected value success or not. The instrument with the measurement can be used on competitor's business model, In. When an investment into a i-m with a specific business model, these instrument developed can be presented as the basic framework of assessment.

The Effect of Evaluative Concerns Perfectionism on Resilience: The Joint Moderating Effect of the Social Support and Emotional Intelligence of the Leader

  • In a competitive organizational environment, members view completing tasks to perfection without mistakes as the requirement for success and good evaluation from others. However, unrealistically strong perfectionism can have negative effects on members' psychological states and organizational performance. This study focuses on evaluative concerns perfectionism, the negative aspect of perfectionism, based on positive psychology theory to explore the positive mechanism that comes into place in the process of strengthening organization members' resilience. For this purpose, we performed a moderated moderation analysis to investigate whether the moderating effect of leaders' social support (primary moderator) is moderated by their emotional intelligence (secondary moderator). To verify our research model, we conducted a two-part survey of 252 employees in various industries with a time interval to minimize the common method bias. Job rank and positive affectivity were set as control variables to identify the clear causal relationship among variables. Our findings showed that first, evaluative concerns perfectionism reduced resilience; second, leaders' social support positively moderated the relationship between evaluative concerns perfectionism and resilience; and third, the leaders' emotional intelligence positively moderated the two-way interaction between evaluative concerns perfectionism and the leaders' social support, confirming a moderated moderation. Our findings suggest the need for leaders to assume multidimensional roles to enhance the positive traits of organization members, especially in today's complex business environment. The implications of our findings are further discussed in relation to knowledge management and the development of organization members who exhibit evaluative concerns perfectionism, along with suggestions for future research.

  • 지식관리시스템(KMS)이 조직 내에서 확산되게 됨에 따라 효과적 활용방안에 대한 관심도 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 연구조직을 대상으로 시스템 지식 품질, 조직지원, 개인특성이 KMS의 성공에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증적 연구를 시행하였다. 실증연구의 결과는 시스템 사용, 사용자 만족, 유용성 지각 등으로 측정된 KMS의 성공에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변수로는 KMS의 시스템 품질(system quality)인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 즉 시스템의 사용자들이 유용성을 인식하고 만족스럽게 사용하기 위해서는 시스템이 사용자들에게 편리하게 활용할 수 있도록 잘 설계되는 것이 매우 중요한 요인이다. 또한 KMS성공요인들 중에는 사용자 만족과 유용성 지각이 시스템 사용의 선행요인이라는 것도 밝혀지고 있다. 끝으로 사용자의 개인적 요인인 조직기반 자기존중감이 독립변수인 영향요인과 종속변수인 KMS의 성공 간에 조절역할을 하는 것도 구명되고 있다. 이 연구는 연구조직에서는 지식관리시스템의 활용빈도를 높이기 위해서는 시스템의 사용이 연구자 친화적으로 설계, 운용되는 것이 매우 중요한 요인이라는 시사점을 주고 있다.

IT기업의 학습지향성과 환경불확실성의 상호작용이 마케팅역량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Interaction between Learning Orientation and Environmental Uncertainty on Marketing Capabilities in the IT Firms)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 IT기업을 대상으로 환경불확실성과 학습지향성의 상호작용이 조직성과의 하나인 마케팅역량에 미치는 영향을 탐색적으로 살펴보고자 하였다. AMOS와 SPSS를 활용한 통계분석 결과, 직원수 500인 미만의 소규모 조직일수록 자신들이 직면한 환경불확실성에 보다 적극적으로 그리고 유연하게 대응하려는 경향이 농후했으며, 이 같은 환경에의 반응을 통해 마케팅역량의 증대라는 긍정적 성과를 가져왔다. 반면에 직원수 500인 이상인 기업의 경우는 그 어떤 유의한 상호작용효과도 보여주지 못했다. 이 같은 연구결과는 조직규모에 따른 경쟁 환경 및 시장지배력의 차이가 IT기업의 환경적응 메커니즘에서도 차이를 가져온 것이라는 추론을 가능케 한다. 다만, 이 같은 유추는 IT기업의 유형과 특성이 매우 이질적이라는 점에서 일정한 한계를 지닌다. 따라서 IT산업의 표본을 확장한 후속연구와 타산업과의 비교연구에 대한 필요성이 있다.

Rational Leadership for the Middle East: A Multiple Competencies Model

  • This study aims to address the prevailing skepticism that conventional leadership models are not effective in the Middle East. With the same logic, selecting leaders is a confusing task in the Middle East due to the haphazardness surrounding this task and the lack of clarity of appropriate selection criteria. This study employs samples of leadership theories and frameworks that were scrutinized to classify specific leadership dimensions. The triangular model stemmed from the previous studies that addressed Leadership in general and the Leadership model for the Middle East. With the use of the literature review methodologies and historical analysis, the leadership model's description will be demonstrated. The results revealed that there are various dimensions of Leadership, especially concerning the Middle East's organizational environment. The findings of this study suggested a new model which assists in clarifying the issue by setting a group of 10 personality traits with eight behavioral skills and social status. Implications of this study enable making Leadership easier in practice. Furthermore, this will enable recognition of Leadership according to specific criteria, which will help make greater equality and empowerment at all levels of the system. This research localizes Leadership and paves the way to automate leaders' selection process with a guarantee of fairness among candidates.

The Effect of Curiosity on Employee Performance: A Case Study in Indonesia

  • This study examines the impact of independent behavior, goal achievement, and curiosity on employee performance and examines the impact of independent behavior and goal achievement on employee performance through curiosity. This research is conducted on a survey using explanatory research. Data collection is carried out using a questionnaire as a research instrument. The questionnaire was conducted on employees of finance companies in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The selection of companies used as research is based on the similarity of the products being marketed. In Yogyakarta, there are 54 branch offices of finance companies that carry out business activities. However, of the 54 companies, ten have the same products being marketed, namely mortgage loans, investment loans, and multipurpose loans. In contrast, other finance companies focus more on motor vehicle loans—determining the number of samples obtained by multiplying by six times the number of indicators used. The sampling technique is done by purposive sampling with specific respondent criteria. In this study, analysis techniques, using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 22. The results showed that the increase in employee performance was influenced by curiosity regarding independent employee behavior. This study provides recommendations human resource management practices that have an impact on organizational performance.

Yiguandao in Korea: International Growth of a Chinese New Religion

  • Yiguandao missions arrived in Korea no later than 1947. Despite many obstacles, including war and internal dissension, the movement has flourished in South Korea. Today there are three active major lineages and another seven smaller networks. This article relates the movement's overall development in Korea. We begin by discussing key missions dispatched to Korea by Yiguandao's founder Zhang Tianran. The northern port city of Tianjin was key to this effort, in particular a single temple, the Hall of Morality. In Korea the leaders found an unfamiliar cultural landscape that was soon engulfed in war. The Yiguandao missions tended to develop independently, without coordination. In an effort to unify the movement, the Morality Foundation was established in Busan in 1952. The article shows how Yiguandao's subsequent success in Korea is connected to the development of indigenous leadership. Local Korean leadership ousted Chinese members from the Morality Foundation in 1954, and this branch has continued under Korean leadership to this day. The ousted Chinese leaders continued to develop their own lineages. Two major leaders, Zhang Ruiquan and Kim Bokdang, were able to establish enduring legacies. A final section looks at organizational traits that will determine the movement's future prospects in modern Korean society.

Prior Literature Investigation of the Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR)

  • Purpose - In this study, the current author explores how Human Resource Management (HRM) is changing in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). Understanding the distinctive features of HRM in this day is crucial, given how rapidly industries are changing due to technology. Research design, data, and methodology - This study adopts a thorough literature review methodology to pinpoint and clarify these distinctive characteristics, advancing our understanding of the role of HRM in the modern world. Regarding methodology, this study uses the PRISMA approach to systematically gather pertinent publications from various sources that have undergone peer review. Result - By carefully choosing and examining these studies, the present author was able to identify four crucial HRM traits that are representative of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The findings emphasizes how common flexible work schedules are. Using data analytics to influence HRM decisions is increasingly important for maximizing hiring, reviewing performance, and fostering organizational growth. Conclusion - By recalibrating their HRM practices in the 4IR, businesses may encourage flexibility, innovation, and employee well-being. This work makes a substantial contribution to both HRM theory and practice and our comprehension of the transformative effects of the 4IR by filling a gap in the existing literature.

The Application of the Sports Psychology for Business Leadership: Current Literature Analysis

  • Purpose: This study seeks to address the following research questions: (1) What are the fundamental principles of sports psychology that can be applied to business leadership? (2) How can these principles enhance business leadership effectiveness? As a result, the study may evaluate the necessity and benefits of incorporating sports psychology principles into business leadership practices. Research design, data and methodology: The data collection process in this study involved a systematic Literature review approach, following the prior literature analysis guidelines by numerous past studies. This methodical approach to selecting articles can be useful in synthesizing existing literature and can be referred to as Literature review and selection. Results: The literature analysis has indicated that there is much support for assumptions underpinning business leadership modules, which can be enhanced by applying sports psychology. This topic discusses the traits of self-positivity and mental toughness, goal perspective and interpersonal relationships within a team, and visualization in a sporting organization that can be implemented in business management to support organizational performance. Conclusions: All in all, it can be concluded that organizations must consider adopting Sports Psychology principles into their Leadership Development Programs. 상사의 역기능 리더십 행동, 선행요인 그리고 결과에 대한 질적 분석 (A Qualitative Analysis on Supervisors' Dysfunctional Leadership Behaviors, Antecedents, and Results)

  • 역설적이지만 리더십에는 드러난 순기능 못지않게 숨겨진 역기능도 많다. 본 연구는 상사의 역기능 리더십의 행동 유형, 선행 요인과 그 결과를 밝혀서 역기능 리더로 인한 조직과 구성원의 피해를 최소화하고, 효과적인 리더십 개발을 위한 HRD 차원의 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국내 S그룹에 종사하는 구성원 28명을 대상으로 본인의 상사를 통해 직접 경험하였거나, 또는 잘 알고 있는 리더 1인을 상정하여 해당 리더가 보이는 역기능 리더십의 구체적인 행동 특성과 이에 영향을 미치는 선행요인, 그로 인해 조직과 구성원에게 영향을 미치는 부정적 결과에 대한 심층 인터뷰 기반의 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 연구결과 상사의 역기능 리더십 행동으로는 '비인격적인 비난과 모욕행위', '권위주의적 독단적 행동', '자기 권한 강화', '편향적 인력선호와 활용', '지나친 자기과신', '과도한 관리와 통제', '변화에 대한 저항', '언행 불일치', '상사에 대한 지나친 의존', '비윤리적 행동' 등이 공통적으로 밝혀졌다. 역기능 리더십 행동에 영향을 미치는 선행요인으로는 '개인의 성향과 경험', '과업 특성', 그리고 '조직 내 외부 환경' 등으로 확인되었다. 그리고 상사의 역기능 리더십 행동이 조직 구성원에게 미치는 부정적인 결과는 '이직 증가', '업무 효율성 저하와 자원낭비', '업무 의욕 저하', '혁신적 사고 제한', '소극적이고 수동적인 조직문화', '조직 활력 저하', '조직 시너지 저하', '애사심 저하', '상사에 대한 신뢰 저하' 등으로 조사되었다.
