Efficient two-color-mixed white organic light-emitting diodes are presented herein by employing a sky-blue phosphorescent dopant of iridium(III)bis[4,6-(difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,$C^{2'}$]picolinate (FIrpic) and an orange phosphorescent dopant of bis(2-phenylquinoline)(acetylacetonate)iridium(III) ($Ir(phq)_2$acac) on the emissive layer. Very stable color variation under ${\Delta}$0.02 until a 5000 cd/$m^2$ brightness value was realized by efficient carrier control in a multi-stacked emitting layer of blue/red/blue colors. Maximum current and power efficiencies of 23.8 cd/A and 22.9 lm/W in the forward direction were obtained. With balanced emission from the two emitters, the white-light emission of high correlated color temperature of 7308K and the Commission Internationale de I'Eclairage coordinates of (0.30, 0.33) were achieved.
$Mn_3O_4$/multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) composites are prepared by chemically synthesizing $Mn_3O_4$ nanoparticles on a MWCNT film at room temperature. Structural and morphological characterization has been carried out using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning and transmission electron microscopies (SEM and TEM). These reveal that polycrystalline $Mn_3O_4$ nanoparticles, with sizes of about 10-20 nm, aggregate to form larger nanoparticles (50-200 nm), and the $Mn_3O_4$ nanoparticles are attached inhomogeneously on MWCNTs. The electrochemical behavior of the composites is analyzed by cyclic voltammetry experiment. The $Mn_3O_4$/MWCNT composite exhibits a specific capacitance of $257Fg^{-1}$ at a scan rate of $5mVs^{-1}$, which is about 3.5 times higher than that of the pure $Mn_3O_4$. Cycle-life tests show that the specific capacitance of the $Mn_3O_4$/MWCNT composite is stable up to 1000 cycles with about 85% capacitance retention, which is better than the pure $Mn_3O_4$ electrode. The improved supercapacitive performance of the $Mn_3O_4$/MWCNT composite electrode can be attributed to the synergistic effects of the $Mn_3O_4$ nanoparticles and the MWCNTs, which arises not only from the combination of pseudocapacitance from $Mn_3O_4$ nanoparticles and electric double layer capacitance from the MWCNTs but also from the increased surface area, pore volume and conducting property of the MWCNT network.
Nanoflake composite multi core-shell $SrFe_{12}O_{19}/Fe_3O_4$/PEG/Polypyrrole was synthesized by in situ polymerization method. In this paper, the fabrication of $SrFe_{12}O_{19}$ nanoflake is as first core by solgel method. Then fabricated a shell layer from magnetic nanoparticles of $Fe_3O_4$, which synthesized by coprecipitation technique, onto the $SrFe_{12}O_{19}$ nanoflake. Polyethylene glycol (PEG) as a polymer layer and as second shell was coated onto the before core-shell. Than core-shell $SrFe_{12}O_{19}/Fe_3O_4$/PEG was used as template for the preparation of $SrFe_{12}O_{19}/Fe_3O_4$/PEG/Polypyrrole composite. Final composite has a conductive property among $4.23{\times}10^{-2}Scm^{-1}$ and magnetic property about $M_s$=2.99 emu/g. Also final composite in soluble at organic solvent such as DMF and DMSO and has a flake structure. Conductivity and magnetic property respectively determine by four-probe instrument and vibrant sample magnetometer (VSM), morphology and article size determined by FE-SEM, TEM and XRD.
The enhanced control of OLED deposition processes by Organic Vapor Phase Deposition $(OVPD^{(R)})$ is discussed. $OVPD^{(R)}$ opens a wide space of process control parameters. It allows the accurate and individual control of deposition layer properties like morphology and precise mixing of multi component layers (co-deposition) in comparison to conventional deposition manufacturing processes like e. g. VTE (vacuum thermal evaporation).

Metal-Organic Vapor Phase Epitaxy (MOVPE) is an epitaxial process utilizaing ane or more of organometallice as reactnte to grow compound semicond semiconductror layers. MOVPE is basically a cold wall process in which reactants are delivered without reacting with each other to the heated substrate where reactants are thermally decomposed to from compound semiconductors through chemical reaction. Since reactants are delivered as gas phase and the formation of the single crystal compunds depends on the thermal decomposition of the reactants, details of MOVPE relies on the hydrodynamics and pyroltsis and chemical reation of reactants inside on reaction chamber. It has been demonstrated that MOVPE is capable of growing virtually all of the III-V, II-VI and IV-VI compound semiconductrs, fabricating ultrathin epilayers, for ming abrupt hetrointerfaces with monolayer transition width, and is suitable for multi-wafer operation yilding a high throghtput. Overiew of reactror componts and layer, characteristics, and status of MOVPE are discussed.

Transparent semiconductor oxide thin films have been attracting considerable attention as potential channel layers in thin film transistors (TFTs) owing to their several advantageous electrical and optical characteristics such as high mobility, high stability, and transparency. TFTs with ZnO or similar metal oxide semiconductor thin films as the active layer have already been developed for use in active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED). Of late, there have been several reports on TFTs fabricated with InZnO, AlZnSnO, InGaZnO, or other metal oxide semiconductor thin films as the active channel layer. These newly developed TFTs were expected to have better electrical characteristics than ZnO TFTs. In fact, results of these investigations have shown that TFTs with the new multi-component material have excellent electrical properties. In this work, we present TFTs with inverted coplanar geometry and with a novel HfInZnO active layer co-sputtered at room temperature. These TFTs are meant for use in low voltage, battery-operated mobile and flexible devices. Overall, the TFTs showed good performance: the low sub-threshold swing was low and the $I_{on/off}$ ratio was high.
MWCNT(multi-wall carbon nanotube)-doped PEDOT:PSS(poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)), used as a HIL(hole injection layer) material in OLEDs(organic light emitting diodes), was spin-coated on to the ITO glass to form PEDOT:PSS-MWCNT nano composite thin film. Morphology and transparency characteristics of nano composite thin films with respect to the loading percent of MWCNT have been investigated using FT-IR, UV-Vis and SEM. Furthermore, ITO/PEDOT:PSS-MWCNT/NPD/$Alq_3$/Al devices were fabricated, and then J-V and L-V characteristics were investigated. Functional group-incorporated MWCNT was prepared by acid treatment and showed good dispersion property in PEDOT:PSS solution. PEDOT:PSS-MWCNT thin films possessed good transparency property. For multi-layered devices, it was shown that as the loading percent of MWCNT increased, the current density increased but the luminance dramatically decreased. It might be conclusively suggested that the enhanced charge mobility by MWCNT could increase the current density but the hole trapping property of MWCNT could dramatically decrease the hole mobility in the current devices.
Photoelectrochemical (PEC) systems are promising methods of producing H2 gas using solar energy in an aqueous solution. The photoelectrochemical properties of numerous metal oxides have been studied. Among them, the PEC systems based on TiO2 have been extensively studied. However, the drawback of a PEC system with TiO2 is that only ultraviolet (UV) light can be absorbed because of its large band gap (3.2 - 3.4 eV). Two approaches have been introduced in order to use PEC cells in the visible light region. The first method includes doping impurities, such as nitrogen, into TiO2, and this technique has been extensively studied in an attempt to narrow the band gap. In comparison, research on the second method, which includes visible light water splitting in molecular photosystems, has been slow. Mallouk et al. recently developed electrochemical water-splitting cells using the Ru(II) complex as the visible light photosensitizer. the dye-sensitized PEC cell consisted of a dye-sensitized TiO2 layer, a Pt counter electrode, and an aqueous solution between them. Under a visible light (< 3 eV) illumination, only the dye molecule absorbed the light and became excited because TiO2 had the wide band gap. The light absorption of the dye was followed by the transfer of an electron from the excited state (S*) of the dye to the conduction band (CB) of TiO2 and its subsequent transfer to the transparent conducting oxide (TCO). The electrons moved through the wire to the Pt, where the water reduction (or H2 evolution) occurred. The oxidized dye molecules caused the water oxidation because their HOMO level was below the H2O/O2 level. Organic dyes have been developed as metal-free alternatives to the Ru(II) complexes because of their tunable optical and electronic properties and low-cost manufacturing. Recently, organic dye molecules containing multi-branched, multi-anchoring groups have received a great deal of interest. In this work, tri-branched tri-anchoring organic dyes (Dye 2) were designed and applied to visible light water-splitting cells based on dye-sensitized TiO2 electrodes. Dye 2 had a molecular structure containing one donor (D) and three acceptor (A) groups, and each ended with an anchoring functionality. In comparison, mono-anchoring dyes (Dye 1) were also synthesized. The PEC response of the Dye 2-sensitized TiO2 film was much better than the Dye 1-sensitized or unsensitized TiO2 films.

Recently, there has been rapid development in the field of flexible electronic devices, such as organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), organic solar cells and flexible sensors. Encapsulation process is added to protect the flexible electronic devices from exposure to oxygen and moisture in the air. Using numerical simulation, we investigated the effects of the encapsulation layer on mechanical stability of the silicon chip, especially the fracture performance of center crack in multi-layer package for various loading condition. The multi-layer package is categorized in two type - a wide chip model in which the chip has a large width and encapsulation layer covers only the chip, and a narrow chip model in which the chip covers both the substrate and the chip with smaller width than the substrate. In the wide chip model where the external load acts directly on the chip, the encapsulation layer with high stiffness enhanced the crack resistance of the film chip as the thickness of the encapsulation layer increased regardless of loading conditions. In contrast, the encapsulation layer with high stiffness reduced the crack resistance of the film chip in the narrow chip model for the case of external tensile strain loading. This is because the external load is transferred to the chip through the encapsulation layer and the small load acts on the chip for the weak encapsulation layer in the narrow chip model. When the bending moment acts on the narrow model, thin encapsulation layer and thick encapsulation layer show the opposite results since the neutral axis is moving toward the chip with a crack and load acting on chip decreases consequently as the thickness of encapsulation layer increases. The present study is expected to provide practical design guidance to enhance the durability and fracture performance of the silicon chip in the multilayer package with encapsulation layer.
