The purposes of this study were 1) to verify the theoretical model of the influential factors of brand variety seeking tendency in clothing products by identifying the relationships among optimum stimulation level, fashion leadership, fashion innovativeness, brand variety seeking attitudes and brand variety seeking behavior and 2) to identify the relationships among research variables according to clothing items(suits, jeans, casual jackets, T-shirts, panties, stocking) and the level of clothing involvement. The data was collected from 457 female college students living in Seoul and suburban areas, and was analyzed by frequency, one-way ANOVA, SNK test, multiple regression and path analyses. The results of this study were as follows: 1) There were significant effects of optimum stimulation level and fashion leadership on fashion innovativeness, significant effects of optimum stimulation level, fashion leadership and fashion innovativeness on brand variety seeking attitudes, and significant effects of brand variety seeking attitudes on brand variety seeking behavior 2) There were significant relationships among the research variables in case of suits and jeans. The relationships between variables were differed according to clothing items and the level of clothing involvement.
This study adapted OSL (Optimum Stimulation Level) to induce the customer's behavior, especially customer's fashion behavior. The purpose of the fashion advertisement was to accelerate the purchasing desire for the clothes by catching the customer's attention. OSL is one of the methods. OSL can satisfy customers' desires using the new stimulation that reveals a customer's individual characters. In general, women are more concern about fashion and sensitive to the clothes of new fashion than men. But nowadays, many of the men are also concern about their appearance and fashion. The differences between men and women in fashion behavior and in each factor, of OSL, especially a relationship between OSL factor and fashion behavior are researched in this study. Such differences analyzed to find the sources that can satisfy their various desires. This study was expected to provide good information to plan advertising strategy in unpredictable market situation. The subjects for this study were 308 male and female university students. Mehrabian and Russell (1974),s ASTS(Arousal Seeking Tendency Scale) was adapted to measure the OSL, and twenty questions regarding fashion leadership and clothing importance released by Kwon, Shin, Lee, are adapted to measure the fashion behavior. An ANOVA was used as statistical analyzing method to find out the difference between men and women in fashion behavior. The relationship between fashion behavior and difference between men and women in OSL factors were measured by MANOVA. Conclusions were as follows; 1. In consciousness degree of fashion leadership and clothing importance in the fashion behavior, women were higher than men. 2. There was a difference between men and women in OSL's each factors in "unusual stimuli" and "sensuality", but there is no significant statistical difference in factors of "change", "risk", "new environment". Therefore women are higher than men in the stimulation level of "unusual stimuli" and" sensuality". 3. Low element of OSL relating to fashion behavior is from "change" and "unusual stimuli". 4. For the relationship between OSL and fashion behavior, fashion leadership and clothing importance were recognized better in the group of higher level of "change" and "unusual stimuli" irrespective of sex. In the case of "change" which is one of OSL factors, High OSL groups were higher than low OSL groups in the consciousness level of the fashion leadership and clothing importance. In men's case, High OSL-Change groups were higher than Low OSL-Change groups in the fashion leadership, but there was no difference between two groups in the consciousness of the clothing importance. In the case of "Unusual Stimuli", High OSL groups were superior to Low OSL groups in the fashion leadership, but there was no significant difference between two groups in the clothing importance. In women's case, High OSL-Change groups were superior to Low OSL-Change groups. In the case of "Unusual Stimuli", High OSL groups were superior to Low OSL groups in the fashion leadership, but there was no difference between two groups in the clothing importance.

Dental implants using titanium have greatly advanced through the improvement of designs and surface treatments. Nonetheless, the anatomical limits and physiological changes of the patient are still regarded as obstacles in increasing the success rate of implants further, even with the enhancement of implant products. So there have been many efforts to overcome these limits. The intrinsic potential for bone regeneration can be stimulated through adjuvant treatments with the continuous improvement of implant properties, and this can play an important role in achieving optimum osseointegration toward peripheral bone tissue and securing ultimate long-term implant stability in standard surgical procedures. For this purpose, various chemical, biological, or biophysical measures were developed such as bone grafts, materials, pharmacological agents, growth factors, and bone formation proteins. The biophysical stimulation of bone union includes non-invasive and safe methods. In the beginning, it was developed as a method to enhance the healing of fractures, but later evolved into Pulsed Electromagnetic Field, Low-Intensity Pulsed Ultrasound, and Low-Level Laser Therapy. Their beneficial effects were confirmed in many studies. This study sought to examine bone-implant union and its latest trend as well as the biophysical stimulation method to enhance the union. In particular, this study suggested the enhancement of the function of cells and tissues under a disadvantageous bone metabolism environment through such adjunctive stimulation. This study is expected to serve as a treatment guideline for implant-bone union under unfavorable circumstances caused by systemic diseases hampering bone metabolism or the host environment.
Neural regulation of phenylethanolamine N-meth-yltransferase (PNMT) was studied with reserpine as a neuronal agent in rat adrenal medulla. The enzyme activity assay and northern blot analysis were performed to determine whether the induction of PNMT activity after reserpine treatment was associated with elevation of mRNA coding for PNMT. The i.p. administration of reserpine (2.5 mg/kg) on alternate days fot 4 injections to rats brought about 30% increase of adrenal medullary PNMT activity and approximately 60% stimulation of the PNMT mRNA level in rat adrenal gland. A dose of 10 mg/kg of reserpine was chosen to perform optimum induction of PNMT activity in the rat adrenal gland based on the results of dose response curve of reserpine. Time course reserpine (10 mg/kg) effects on the rat adrenal medullary PNMT were as follows: 1. Peripheral PNMT activity reached maximum level after 7 days of drug treatment on alternate days. 2. Trans-synaptic stimulation by reserpine increased pretranslational activity of rat adrenal PNMT, but not translational activity. 3. Immunotitration of PNMT molecule after reserpine treatment indicated that reserpine produced an enzyme with greater antibody affinity than endogenous molecule in the rat adrenal gland.
The satisfaction of customers, who are in a servicescape, will be subject to many environmental stimulations. In particularly, the servicescapes of the store and the customer characteristics are important factors that affecting the emotional commitment of consumers. In this study, the servicescape that consumers evaluated can be divided into physical and social factors. Furthermore, how these factors can affect the emotional commitment through perceived service quality and social interaction will be studied as well. In addition, the moderating effects of the individual characteristics at the perception of servicescape, such as optimum stimulation level and social appropriateness will be studied together. The results show that the physical factor of servicescape is one of the most important elements that affect "emotional commitment" and under this process; the perceived service quality is performed as a parameter. Besides, the social factor of servicescape, such as the other customer and companion affect can also affect emotional commitment through social interaction. On the other hand, through the analysis of optimum stimulation level and social appropriateness, we found that the higher the social appropriateness, the greater the effect of servicescape. Overall, in order to enhance the customer's emotional commitment, we must build high quality servicescape, meanwhile; the management of other customers and the companion are needed at the same time.
The transport of putrescine into a moderately salt tolerant cyanobacterium Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 was characterized by measuring the uptake of radioactively-labeled putrescine. Putrescine transport showed saturation kinetics with an apparent $K_m$ of $92{\pm}10\;{\mu}M$ and $V_{max}$ of $0.33{\pm}0.05\;nmol/min/mg$ protein. The transport of putrescine was pH-dependent with highest activity at pH 7.0. Strong inhibition of putrescine transport was caused by spermine and spermidine whereas only slight inhibition was observed by the addition of various amino acids. These results suggest that the transport system in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803 is highly specific for polyamines. Putrescine transport is energy-dependent as evidenced by the inhibition by various metabolic inhibitors and ionophores. Slow growth was observed in cells grown under salt stress. Addition of low concentration of putrescine could restore growth almost to the level observed in the absence of salt stress. Upshift of the external osmolality generated by either NaCl or sorbitol caused an increased putrescine transport with an optimum 2-fold increase at 20 mosmol/kg. The stimulation of putrescine transport mediated by osmotic upshift was abolished in chloramphenicol-treated cells, suggesting possible involvement of an inducible transport system.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between IT environment and commitment in online.The satisfaction of customers, who are in a servicescape, will be subject to many environmental stimulations. In particularly, the servicescapes of the store and the customer characteristics are important factors that affecting the emotional commitment of consumers. In this study, the servicescape that consumers evaluated can be divided into physical and social factors. Furthermore, how these factors can affect the emotional commitment through perceived service quality and social interaction will be studied as well. In addition, the moderating effects of the individual characteristics at the perception of servicescape, such as optimum stimulation level and social appropriateness will be studied together.
This study was carried out for observation of growth, mycorrhizal formation and nutrient absorption of Pinus thunbergii seedlings treated with two soil mixtures and various nitrogen levels after inoculation with mycorrhizal fungus, Pisolithus tinctorius. 1. Seedlings grown on vermiculite applied with $50-150{\mu}g/ml$ nitrogen levels were well developed with pinnate type and cluster-like mycorrhizae. But seedlings on sandy loam had monopodial type in addition to the above-mentioned two types. 2. Optimum fertilization level for mycorrhizal formation is 50 or $150{\mu}g/ml$ N that showed best mycorrhizal formation of $86.4({\pm}3.14)%$ or $73.0({\pm}7.21)%$, respectively, but increased nitrogen levels decreased formation of mycorrhizal short roots. Seedlings applied with $450{\mu}g/ml$ nitrogen level decreased in net assimilation rate (NAR) and crop growth rate(CGR) during early growth of the seedlings, and they were increased since Aug, when nutrient application was stopped. 9. Inorganic nutrient absorption was increased more in seedlings grown on vermiculite and inoculated growth medium than those grown on sandy loam and noninoculated one, and it was gradually increased with increasing nitrogen increasing nitrogen level until $350{\mu}g/ml$. But $450{\mu}g/ml$ nitro gen level rather reduced absorption of nutrient.
In order to investigate the effects of phosphorous fertilizer such as fused Phosphate, compound fertilizer and triple phosphate on barley(growth and yield at the fixed level of nitrogen and potassium, 4 level of hosphorous) has been tested at Suwon. Iri. Kwangju ani Daegu with randomized completeblock design. The results obtained could be summarized as follows. 1. In four locations. increased application of phosphorus have brought earlier maturity in barley regardless the type of fertilizer but fused phosphate considered to have more effects on stimulation of maturity of barley compare with the others. 3. Fused phosphate increased yield higher by-8kg/10a application compare with the same level of compound fertilizer and triple phosphate but there was no differences in yield at 12kg/10a phosphate but there was no differences in yield at 12kg/l0a application among the fertilizers except Kwangju and Suwon. 3. Grain weight was considerably higher in application of fused phosphate Thus are considered effects phosphate. 4. Optimum amount of phosphorous fertilizer was considered 8kg/l0a. Application of 4kg per 10a produced lower yield than 8kg and slightly or no increased yield was observed in 12kg application. 5. Among the 4kg/10a applied condition of phosphorous fertilizers, yield was decreased at fused phosphate treatment compare with the others and this fact resulted supposedly due to the lower portion of valid phosphorus in fused phosphate because of its citric acid solubility. At level of 12kg/10a application fused phosphate was considered more effective in yield increment.
The purposes of this study were 1) to classify female consumers on VALS, 2) to identify the differences of psychological characteristics and demographics among the classified groups, and 3) to investigate the apparel benefits, buying behavior, shopping practices and psychological characteristics of each groups. For the study, a sample of 340 female consumers participated in this survey research. The data was analyzed utilizing descriptive statistics, factor analysis, cluster analysis, $\chi^2$-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan test. Seven dimensions of values were identified by factor analysis: Consumption-oriented, Achievement-oriented , Diligence/sincerity-oriented, Pessimistic value tendencious, conservative/conventional value oriented, Dignity-oriented and Socialite-oriented. Based on these dimensions female consumers classified into three clusters: inner values-directed group, passive/inactive group, and achievement-oriented group. Achievement-oriented group showed the highest scores in optimum stimulation level and materialism, and tended to be younger and be employed than the other two groups. Both inner values-directed group and achievement-oriented group showed higher scores in self-expression/individuality and quality out of five apparel benefit than passive/inactive group. Innovative communicators, fashion innovators and fashion opinion leaders were mostly in the achievement-oriented group, while fashion followers and fashion indifferents were mostly in the passive/inactive group. It was revealed that achievement-oriented group had a larger number of fashionable clothing items and experienced more activities in vogue. Also, there were significant group differences in shopping practice, such as average monthly allowance, number of annual purchase clothing items.
