ANALYSIS OF THE MITIGATION STRATEGIES FOR MARRIAGE DIVORCE: FROM MATHEMATICAL MODELING PERSPECTIVE

  • In this work, we formulated a mathematical model for divorce in marriage and extended in to an optimal control model. Firstly, we qualitatively established the model positivity and boundedness. Also we saw sensitivity analysis of the model and identified the positive and negative indices parameters. An optimal control model were developed by incorporating three time dependent control strategies (couple relationship education, reducing getting married too young & consulting separators to renew their marriage) on the deterministic model. The Pontryagin's maximum principle were used for the derivation of necessary conditions of the optimal control problem. Finally, with Newton's forward and backward sweep method numerical simulation were performed on optimality system by considering four integrated strategies. So that we reached to a result that using all three strategies simultaneously (the strategy D) is an optimal control in order to effectively control marriage divorce over a specified period of time. From this we conclude that, policymakers and stakeholders should use the indicated control strategy at a time in order to fight against Divorce in a population.

병렬처리를 위한 효율적인 사상 기법 (Efficient Mapping Scheme for Parallel Processing)

  • 본 논문은 통신 오버헤드의 정확한 특성을 사용하여 병렬처리를 위한 사상 기법을 표현했다. 목적 함수의 집합은 시스템 그래프에 문제 그래프를 사상하는 것의 최적화 를 평가하기 위해서 정형화했다. 이것 중에 하나는 병렬처리의 실시간 응용에 특히 적절하다. 목적함수는 문제 그래프에서 연결선이 가중치를 갖고 있고, 시스템 그래프 에서 연결선을 위해 명목거리보다 실제거리를 고용했다는 점에서 기존의 것과 차이가 있다. 이것은 통신오버헤드를 더 정확하게 측량할 수 있다. 효율적인 사상 기법이 목적함수를 위해서 개발되었고, 초기할당과 쌍교환의 두 단계에서 최적화 과정이 이루 어진다. 이 사상 기법은 시스템 그래프로서 하이퍼큐브를 사용하여 테스트했다.

  • This paper addresses the development of a 3-fingered humanoid robot hand system and a real-time grasp synthesis of multifingered robot hands to find grasp configurations which satisfy the force closure condition of arbitrary shaped objects. We propose a fast and efficient grasp synthesis algorithm for planar polygonal objects, which yields the contact locations on a given polygonal object to obtain a force closure grasp by the multifingered robot hand. For an optimum grasp and real-time computation, we develop the preference and the hibernation process and assign physical constraints of the humanoid hand to the motion of each finger. The preferences consist of each sublayer reflecting the primitive preference similar to the conditional behaviors of humans for given objectives and their arrangements are adjusted by the heuristics inspired from human's grasping behaviors. The proposed method reduces the computational time significantly at the sacrifice of global optimality, and enables the grasp posture to be changable within two-finger and three-finger grasps. The performance of the presented algorithm is evaluated via simulation studies to obtain the force-closure grasps of polygonal objects with fingertip grasps. The architecture suggested is verified through experimental implementation to our robot hand system by solving the 2- or 3-finger grasp synthesis.

  • This work considered an optimal control formulation in the sense of Caputo derivatives. The optimality of the fractional optimal control problem. The tumor immune interaction in fractional form provides an excellent tool for the description of memory and hereditary properties of inter and intra cells. So the interaction between effector-cells, tumor cells and are modeled by using the definition of Caputo fractional order derivative that provides the system with long-time memory and gives extra degree of freedom. In addiltion, existence and local stability of fixed points are investigated for discrete model. Moreover, in order to achieve more efficient computational results of fractional-order system, a discretization process is performed to obtain its discrete counterpart. Our technique likewise allows the advancement of results, such as return time to baseline that are unrealistic with current model solvers.

  • 무인수중로봇은 인간의 직접적인 접근이 제한되는 위험한 지역을 운항하기 때문에 인식, 결정, 그리고 행동과 같은 영역전문가의 고유능력을 수행하는 지능형 제어소프트웨어를 반드시 탑재해야한다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 무인항체에 적용 가능한 RVC 지능시스템 모델을 제안하며, 또한 충돌회피시스템, 항해 계획시스템, 그리고 충돌위험도산출시스템으로 구성된 무인수중로봇을 위한 지능형 자율운항시스템을 개발 한다. 충돌회피시스템에서는 퍼지관계곱에 기반한 장애물회피 알고리즘을 제안하는데 이는 생성경로 관점의 안전성과 효율성을 보장한다. 그리고 항해계획시스템에서는 폴리선을 이용한 항로계획 알고리즘을 제안 한다. 제안된 지능형 자율운항시스템의 성능검증을 위해 환경관리자, 객체, 그리고 3차원뷰어로 구성된 시뮬레이션시스템을 개발하여 시뮬레이션을 수행한다.

Cross-layer Dynamic Subcarrier Allocation with Adaptive Service Rate Control in SC-FDMA System

  • In this paper, an improved utility-based cross-layer dynamic subcarrier allocation (DSA) algorithm is proposed for single carrier frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) system, which adopts adaptive service rate control (ASRC) to eliminate the service rate waste and improve the spectral efficiency in heterogeneous network including non-real-time traffic and real-time traffic. In this algorithm, furthermore, a first in first out (FIFO) queuing model with finite space is established on the cross-layer scheduling framework. Simulation results indicate that by taking the service rate constraint as the necessary condition for optimality, the ASRC algorithm can effectively eliminate the service rate waste without compromising the scheduling performance. Moreover, the ASRC algorithm is able to further improve the quality of service (QoS) performance and transmission throughput by contributing an attractive performance trade-off between real-time and non-real-time applications.

인공위성 카메라 주반사경의 위상최적화 (Topology Optimization of the Primary Mirror of a Multi-Spectral Camera)

  • A study on the topology optimization of a multi-spectral camera for space-use is presented. The optimization is carried out under self-weight and polishing pressure loading. A multi-spectral camera for space-use experiences degradation of optical image in the space, which can not be detected on the optical test bench on the earth. An optical surface deformation of a primary mirror, which is a principal component of the camera system, is an important factor affecting the optical performance of the whole camera system. In this study, topology optimization of the primary mirror of the camera is presented. As an objective function, a measure of Strehl ratio is used. Total mass of the primary mirror is given as a constraint to the optimization problem. The sensitivities of the objective function and constraint are calculated by direct differentiation method. Optimization procedure is carried out by an optimality criteria method. For the light-weight primary mirror design, a three dimensional model is treated. As a preliminary example, topology optimization considering a self-weight loading is treated. In the second example, the polishing pressure is also included as a loading in the topology optimization of the mirror. Results of the optimized design topology for the mirror with various mass constraints are presented.

  • It is often that a large-scale linear programming(LP) problem may contain many constraints which are redundant or cause infeasibility on account of inefficient formulation or some errors in data input. Presolving or preprocessing is a series of operations which removes the underlying redundancy or detects infeasibility in the given LP problem. It is essential for the speedup of an LP system solving large-scale problems to implement presolving techniques. For the recovery of an optimal solution for the original problem from an optimal solution for the presolved problem, a special procedure, so called postsolving, must be applied. In this paper, we present how a postsolving procedure is constructed and implemented in LPABO, a interior-point based LP system. Briefly, all presolving processes are logged in a data structure in LPABO, and after the end of the solution method an optimal solution for the original problem is obtained by tracing the logs. In each stage of the postsolving procedure, the optimality of intermediate solutions is maintained. We tested our postsolving procedure on Netlib, Gondzio and Kennington LP data sets, and concluded that the computational burden of the procedure is relatively negligible compared with the total solving time.

  • In this work, a bilateral control for a master-slave manipulator system which will be used for handling objects contaminated by radioactivity has been addressed. The links of manipulators are driven independently by individual motors installed on the base and the driving torque is transmitted through pre-tensioned tendons. The measurable variables are the positions and rates of master/slave motors. In the consideration of the flexibility of the tendon and available measurements for control, we proposed an optimal static output feedback control for possible bilateral control architecture. By using modal analysis, the system model is reduced to guarantee the detectability which is a necessity for the static output feedback control design. Based on the reduced model, the control gains are determined to attenuate vibration in the sense of optimality. The feasibility of the proposed control design was verified along with some simulation results.

Novel optimal intensity measures for probabilistic seismic analysis of RC high-rise buildings with core

  • In this paper the new intensity measures (IMs) for probabilistic seismic analysis of RC high-rise buildings with core wall structural system are proposed. The existing IMs are analysed and the new optimal ones are presented. The newly proposed IMs are based on the existing ones which: 1) comprise a wider range of frequency velocity spectrum content and 2) are defined as the integral along the velocity spectrum. In analysis characteristics of optimal IMs such as: efficiency, practicality, proficiency and sufficiency are considered. As prototype buildings, RC high-rise buildings with core wall structural system and with characteristic heights: 20-storey, 30-storey and 40-storey, are selected. The non-linear 3D models of the prototype buildings are constructed. 720 non-linear time-history analyses are conducted for 60 ground motion records with a wide range of magnitudes, distances to source and various soil types. Statistical processing of results and detailed regression analysis are performed and appropriate demand models which relate IMs to demand measures (DMs), are obtained. The conducted analysis has shown that the newly proposed IMs can efficiently predict the DMs with minimum dispersion and satisfactory practicality as compared to the other commonly used IMs (e.g., PGA and $S_a(T_1)$). The newly proposed IMs overcome difficulties in calculating of integral along the velocity spectrum and present adequate replacement for IMs which comprise a wider range of frequency velocity spectrum content.
