The Influence of Electrolytic Condition on Tunnel Etching and Capacitance Gain of High purity Aluminium Foil on capacitor (전해조건이 고순도 알루미늄 박 콘덴서의 터널에칭과 정전용량에 미치는 영향)

  • Influence of electrochemical etching conditions on capacitance gain of aluminium electrolytic on capacitor foil has been investigated by etching cubic textured high purity aluminum foil in dilute hydrochloric acid. Uniformly distributed etch pit tunnels on aluminum surface have been obtained by pretreatment aluminium foil in 10% NaOH solution for 5 minutes followed by electrochemical etching. Electrostatic capacitance of etched aluminium foil anodized to high voltage increased with the increase of current density, total charge, temperature and concentration of electrolyte up to maximum CV-value and then deceased. Election optical observation of the etched foil revealed that the density of etch of etch pits increased with the increase of current density and concentration of electrolyte. this increase of etch pit density enlarged of the increase of capacitance. However, abnormal high current density and high electrolyte concentration induced the local dissolution of the foil surface which resulted the decrease of foil capacitance.

  • In this work, synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial activity of series of imidazolines-oxazolines scaffolds 5a-f and 10a-d have been investigated. All the imidazolines-oxazolines derivatives were prepared from acid derivatives 1 and 6a-c, and enantiomerically pure (S)-2-amino-3-methyl-1-butanol in four steps with excellent optical purity. The structures of all newly synthesized compounds have been elucidated by $^1H$, $^{13}C$ NMR, GCMS, and IR spectrometry. Their purity was confirmed using elemental analysis. Some newly synthesized compounds were examined to in-vitro antimicrobial activity. Among the prepared products 10d was found to exhibits the most active against all tested bacteria and fungi with minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) ranged between 21.9 and $42.6{\mu}g/mL$.

  • Alumina is one of the most important ceramic materials because of its useful physical and chemical properties. Recently, high-purity alumina has been used in various industrial fields. This leads to increasing demand for reliable elemental analysis of impurities in alumina samples. However, the chemical inertness of alumina makes the sample preparation for conventional elemental analysis a tremendously difficult task. Herein, we demonstrated the feasibility of laser ablation for effective sampling of alumina powder. Laser ablation performs sampling rapidly without any chemical reagents and also allows simultaneous optical emission spectroscopy and mass spectrometry analyses. For six alumina samples including certified reference materials and commercial products, laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) and laser-ablation inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) analyses were performed simultaneously based on a common laser ablation sampling. LIBS was found to be useful to quantify alkali and alkaline earth metals with limits-of-detection (LODs) around 1 ppm. LA-ICP-MS could quantify transition metals such as Ti, Cu, Zn, and Zr with LODs in the range from a few tens to hundreds ppb.

  • $^1$H-NMR method for the determination of enantiomeric purity of (S)-(+)-ibuprofen was developed using (-)-cinchonidine as a chiral solvating agent. (S)-(+)-ibuprofen was prepared by optical resolution of racemic ibuprofen using preferential recrystallization method with (S)-(-)-${\alpha}$-methylbenzylamine and (R)-(-)-ibuprofen by semi-preparative chiral HPLC using chiral OD column and n-hexane/2-propanol/trifluoroacetic acid as a mobile phase. Several concentrations of synthetic mixture of (S)-(+)-ibuprofen and (R)-(-)-ibuprofen were added to the (-)-cinchonidine disolved in CDCl$_3$. (omitted)

  • Color is distinguished due to the light in which natural light is reflected by object and made with combination of RGB(red, green, blue; three colors). This study proposes color analysis system with optical method to be used conveniently. Color information of sample is determined with the optical sensor. By using the CIE diagram in particular, it detects purity value and wavelength. The method to distinguish color is very economical, simple, and convenient. The result can be used to confirm accurate information of color for various applications.

  • SkyMapper is the largest-aperture optical wide-field telescope in Australia and can be used for transient detection in the Southern sky. Reference images from its Southern Survey cover the sky at δ <+10 deg to a depth of I ~ 20 mag. It has been used for surveys of extragalactic transients such as supernovae, optical counterparts to gravitational-wave (GW) and fast radio bursts. We adopt an ensemble-based machine learning technique and further filtering scheme that provides high completeness ~98% and purity ~91% across a wide magnitude range. Here we present an important use-case of our robotic transient search, which is the follow-up of GW event triggers from LIGO/Virgo. We discuss the facility's performance in the case of the second binary neutron star merger GW190425. In time for the LIGO/Virgo O4 run, we will have deeper reference images for galaxies within out to ~200 Mpc distance, allowing rapid transient detection to i ~ 21 mag.

  • Recently, silica nanostructures are widely used in various applicationary areas such as chemical sensors, biosensors, nano-fillers, markers, catalysts, and as a substrate for quantum dots etc, because of their excellent physical, chemical and optical properties. Additionally, these days, semiconductor silica and silicon with high purity is a key challenge because of their metallurgical grade silicon (MG-Si) exhibit purity of about 99% produced by an arc discharge method with high cast. Tremendous efforts are being paid towards this direction to reduce the cast of high purity silicon for generation of photovoltaic power as a solar cell. In this direction, which contains a small amount of impurities, which can be further purified by acid leaching process. In this regard, initially the low cast rice-husk was cultivated from local rice field and washed well with high purity distilled water and were treated with acid leaching process (1:10 HCl and $H_2O$) to remove the atmospheric dirt and impurity. The acid treated rice-husk was again washed with distilled water and dried in an oven at $60^{\circ}C$. The dried rice-husk was further annealed at different temperatures (620 and $900^{\circ}C$) for the formation of silica nanospheres. The confirmation of silica was observed by the X-ray diffraction pattern and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The morphology of obtained nanostructures were analyzed via Field-emission scanning electron microscope(FE-SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and it reveals that the size of each nanosphares is about 50-60nm. Using the Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS), Silica was analyzed for the amount of impurities.

Example is fenoprofen. ibuprofen, ketoprolen, and naproxen. All are chiral and, except for naproxen. are marketed in racemic form. Enantioseparations of profens have been of considerable interest because their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects have been attributed almost exclusively to their (S)-enantiomer. (omitted)
