웹은 문서를 공유하고 전달하는 방식이다. 그러나 현재는 음성/영상 데이터를 실시간으로 전달이 가능하며, 더욱 발전하여 사물과 연동되는 사물 인터넷으로 발전이 되고 있다. 기존의 음성/영상 데이터를 전달하는 프로그램의 경우 이기종 시스템과의 인터페이스, 확장성, 비용에서 많은 제약이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 음성/영상 전달 시스템이 이기종 운영체제의 제약을 개선하며, 기존 ERP 시스템과 호환성 및 확장성이 좋은 오픈소스 기반 시스템을 연구하여 개발한다. 프로그램은 이기종 시스템과의 인터페이스, 확장성을 고려한 방법론으로 프로그램을 설계 및 개발 하며, 시스템 구성 또한 오픈소스 기반의 비용절감과 확장성을 고려한 시스템으로 구성한다. 그러므로 연구 개발된 시스템은 확장성 및 인터페이스에서 우수함을 보이며, 시스템의 설계 및 개발 방법론은 영상회의, 영상채팅, 실시간 HMI(Human Machine Interface), 영상 SNS 등 여러 분야에서 활용이 가능하다.

In the past, design has been recognized as a means to determine colors, shapes, and functions Recently, however, it has been accepted in a wider sense, namely designing the entire service, including product and user experience design. In this way, in addition to creativity and expressive power that designers have as their main competence, according to the expansion of this design object, designers are required to have comprehensive abilities in related fields and accompanying technical professional abilities. If designing as a technology application as a direction toward this situation, design education can be carried out by approaching technology as a method of expression or design subject. It can also be an effective alternative towards improving the understanding of technology. Meanwhile, many small microcontroller board products with advanced functions and multi-functional specialized programming integrated development environments (IDEs) are becoming widespread due to their open source, low cost, and scalable features. However, students in the design department who lack the basic knowledge of science and engineering have difficulties learning, which requires considerable time and is required for practical use. From this point of view, we have made advancements in the technical understanding of design education by conducting fundamental research to the effectiveness of microcontroller-based prototyping tools as means of expression. We also conducted basic education of microcontroller boards for a certain period of time on students who majored in design in conjunction with the basic survey and investigated the obstacle factors using a questionnaire. Through these surveys, we have confirmed the necessity of designing microcontroller boards of low difficulty, which simplify the coding process that can act as a barrier in difficulty for design students to apply smoothly in design education. In addition, we intend to carry out a basic study on the guideline of microcontroller design for design education and composition of education programs.

최근 현대사회는 소비자의 개성과 개인 맞춤형 의류에 대한 니즈가 늘어가고 있다. 저비용으로 사용자가 직접 의류를 생산하는 니팅기는 소비자의 수요를 충족시킬 수 있는 좋은 수단이다. 하지만 사용자는 니팅기의 조작과는 별개로 소프트웨어 프로그램인 니팅기 패턴 프로그램의 사용에 어려움을 느끼고 있다. 이에 따라서 본 연구는 실증연구에 앞서 문헌조사를 진행하였고, 사용빈도가 높은 세 가지 니팅기 패턴 프로그램을 연구 대상으로 선정하여 사용성 평가를 진행하였다. 전문가 집단토론을 통하여 도출한 9가지 사용성 평가 원칙을 바탕으로 연구를 진행한 결과 9가지 평가 원칙인 가시성, 간결성, 조작성, 일관성, 정확성, 유연성, 직관성, 오류인지, 보충 설명에 대한 사용자의 니즈(Needs) 파악을 통하여 니팅기 패턴 프로그램의 인터페이스에 대한 사용성 개선의 방향성과 대안을 확인하고자 한다.

아날로그 TV에 비해 새로운 방식의 디지털 TV는 단순한 영상과 음성의 처리뿐만 아니라, 데이터를 처리 및 저장해야 한다. 그리고 필요에 따라 데이터를 요구하기 위한 리턴 채널을 관리해야 한다. 이처럼 많은 기능을 동시에 충족시켜줘야 하기 때문에 디지털 TV시스템에서는 운영체제가 필요하다. 임베디드 리눅스는 오픈 소스로서 가격 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있으며, 공개된 장치 드라이버와 응용프로그램을 재사용 가능하며, 오픈 소스 공동체를 통해 문제를 쉽게 해결할 수 있고, 쉘, 파일 시스템을 이용하여 편리한 개발 환경을 제공해 주는 이점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 TV 시스템을 위한 임베디드 리눅스를 이식하기 위해 교차 개발 환경과 커널을 빅 엔디언으로 변경하였고, 커널 구동에 필수적인 장치들을 재설계하였으며, 커널을 메모리에 적재할 수 있도록 시스템 메모리 맵을 재설정하였다. 또한 시스템 장치제어를 위한 디바이스 드라이버를 작성하였다.

Recently, there has been growing interest in public participation GIS (Geographic Information System) technology that enables spontaneous public response to increasingly frequent flood and drought events. Accordingly, social and economic demands are increasing on portal services that are designed to help cope with natural hazards such as earthquakes. By focusing on a specific hazard, urban flood, this study designed a prototype of a disaster response portal and its service system. The community map developed in this study is focused on prevention and mitigation of the urban flood damage by analyzing the vulnerable areas, and providing effective means to inspect the roads and sewer systems. By considering the compatibility with VGI (Volunteered Geographic Information) portals, the study created a system environment by employing universally used open-source software programs such as Apache Tomcat, GeoServer, GeoNetwork, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS.

It is expected that an intelligent broadcasting service (IBS) will be able to provide broadcast programs based on user preference and program-associated information (metadata) in order to assist users in easy navigation of the program content being broadcast. In this way, users will be able to access program content anytime, anywhere, and in the manner they wish. This type of IBS will be a basis for future broadcasting services such as customized broadcasting or personal casting. In this paper, we introduce an agent-based multimedia broadcasting framework using the Foundation for Intelligent Physical Agents (FIPA) and MPEG-7 technologies within MPEG-21. We use a FIPA implementation called FIPA open source as a platform for exchanging user preferences and program information as FIPA messages between a server and its clients. The user preference is modeled as the User Preference description scheme in MPEG-7 multimedia description schemes. We discuss a framework structure and implementation for the IBS.

SQLite, Realm 등은 리소스 제약이 큰 소형 기기에 적합한 데이터베이스 엔진들이며 리눅스 기반 모바일 기기에 많이 사용되고 있다. 이 엔진들은 대부분 오픈소스 프로그램들이며 범용 데이터베이스에 비해 가볍고 속도가 빠른 장점을 지닌다. 이 논문에서는 리눅스 기반 환경에서 SQLite 데이터베이스의 검색 성능을 파악하기 위한 테스트 프로그램을 구현하고 성능 실험을 실시한다. 실험은 같은 환경에서 실행되는 Oracle 데이터베이스와 비교하여 진행한다.

Increasing use of embedded systems has made many improvements on hardware development for specific purpose. Hardware changes are more expensive and harder to implement rather than software changes. Developers need tools to do design and testing of new hardware. Many simulation tools have been made to mimic the hardware and allow developer to test programs on top of new hardware. Virtual Development Environment for Embedded Software (VDEES) is one of the alternatives available. It provides an open source based platform and an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that can be used to build and testing newly made component, faster and at low-cost.

본 연구는 학교 교육과정 편성을 위한 학부모, 교사, 학생, 지역사회의 요구와 의견을 신속하게 파악하고, 이를 분석하여 학교 교육활동 및 운영을 효율적으로 하기 위한 온라인 설문조사 시스템 구현을 그 목적으로 한다. 온라인 설문조사 시스템은 프로그램 설치 비용이나 관리 비용을 절감할 수 있도록 오픈소스 설문조사 프로그램 Limesurvey을 기반으로 구현하도록 한다. Limesurvey는 설문조사를 위해 별도의 프로그램 개발 없이도 사용 가능하며 웹기반 템플릿 시스템 형태로 전체 디자인과 레이아웃을 제공하고 설문결과에 대한 기본적인 통계 분석 자료도 제공해 준다. 또한 Limesurvey는 웹호스팅에 간단히 프로그램을 설치하고 DB정보만을 입력하여 실행 가능하다. Limesurvey는 통계 결과를 간단히 그래프화 시킬 수 있으며 HTML, Word, Excel, CSV File, PDF 파일 형태로 저장 가능하고 SPSS나 PASW, R data등 다른 통계 처리 프로그램 위한 기본 데이터로도 저장이 가능하다. 초등학교 현장에서 교육과정 편성 기초조사 단계나 평가단계에서 활용되는 설문조사 시스템은 학교 홈페이지 운영업체나 기업에서 제공하는 상용화 프로그램을 이용하거나 회원가입을 통한 제한적인 형태의 온라인 설문조사 시스템을 운영할 수 밖에 없었다. 본 연구를 통하여 오픈소스 기반 형태의 Limesurvey 설문조사 프로그램을 운영한다면 통제처리에 대한 교사의 업무를 경감시킬 수 있으며 오프라인 수집 형태의 설문조사의 문제점을 극복할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

이 연구에서는 '항구도시 부산'이라는 이미지를 형성하는 데 큰 역할을 한 부산항은 부산의 대표적인 로컬리티 공간이므로 부산항과 인근지역의 경관에 관한 사진, 엽서 등 이미지 기록을 중심으로 <부산항 사진 아카이브>를 구축하는 과정과 방법을 구체적으로 기술함으로써 로컬리티의 재현방법론을 확산하고 공유하고자 한다. 사진, 엽서 등 이미지 기록, 즉 사진기록의 특성을 문자 위주의 텍스트 기록과 비교하여 그 특성을 살펴보고, 이미지 기록의 대중 친화적인 특성에 주목하여 부산항에 관한 사진, 엽서 등의 이미지 기록을 수집하여 오픈소스 기록관리 소프트웨어 가운데 사진의 전시에 적합한 오메카(Omeka)를 이용하여 사진 아카이브를 실험적으로 구축해 보았다. 그 과정과 방법을 보면, 먼저 아카이브 구축 목적에 따른 개발 원칙을 세우고, 기록 수집을 위한 기초조사를 실시하였다. 부산항 관련 기록 소장기관과 개인소장가 등의 저작권 동의를 얻어서 원본 또는 파일을 수집하였다. 이후 수집한 기록은 더블린코어에 따라 기술하였으며, 시기에 따른 컬렉션을 구성하고 기록을 정리하였다. 부산항의 공간적 성격을 교통공간, 역사공간, 산업공간, 생활공간으로 구분하고, 11개 전시주제를 구상하였다. 전시의 보기로 교통공간의 부관연락선을 제시하였다.
