온라인 게임(MMORPG)의 콘텐츠 특성 및 시스템 특성이 게임이용에 미치는 영향 (The impact of contents and system characteristics on online game usage : Focused on MMORPG)

  • 본 논문에서는 게임 구성요소를 콘텐츠 요소와 게임 시스템적 요소로 구분 짓고, 또한 많은 온라인 게임의 출현으로 기존에 의미에 새롭게 추가적인 의미가 필요한 요소 즉, 새롭게 생겨나는 게임 안에서의 콘텐츠 특성을 도출하여 실제 게임 사용자들이 어떠한 요소에 영향을 받아 재미를 느끼고 게임을 이용하는지를 규명 해보고자한다. 또한 게임의 콘텐츠 특성을 캐릭터의 조작가능성, 스토리텔링의 특성, 아이템 특성으로 정하고 시스템 특성을 사용자 인터페이스, 커뮤니티의 편의성으로 정하여 이러한 특성이 플로우에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 콘텐츠 특성 중 아이템 특성을 제외한 나머지 특성 즉, 캐릭터의 조작가능성과, 스토리텔링의 특성은 플로우에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며 시스템 특성은 커뮤니티의 편의성만 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 그리고 이러한 플로우는 최종적으로 게임이용에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 논의와 시사점을 제공하였다.

고객 충성도(Customer Loyalty)에 영향을 미치는 온라인 게임의 중요 요소에 대한 LISREL 모델 분석 (A Structured Analysis Model of Customer Loyalty in Online Games)

  • In recent years, the market for online computer games has become an important part in the entertainment industry. New online games have been introduced every month and the numbers of game players who are playing online games have grown rapidly. However, only a few online games have been successful in making a good profit among many online games. Why are most players playing only a few online games repeatedly? To answer the question, this research focuses on the customer loyalty and their optimal experience(flow) in playing specific online games. This research hypothesizes that customer loyalty for specific online game can be increased by customers' optimal experience(flow) in playing it, and they would feel optimal experience because of mechanic and social interaction in online games. In order to validate the hypothesis, this research analyzes online survey data of players of various online games. According to this survey results, players' optimal experience is affected by their mechanic interaction between a player and an online game system, and their social interaction with other players who participated in the online game. And their optimal experience during playing the online game affects the degree of customer loyalty to the game. This paper ends with conclusions of the survey results and study limits.

Numerical studies on the effect of measurement noises on the online parametric identification of a cable-stayed bridge

  • System identification of structures is one of the important aspects of structural health monitoring. The accuracy and efficiency of identification results is affected severely by measurement noises, especially when the structure system is large, such as bridge structures, and when online system identification is required. In this paper, the least square estimation (LSE) method is used combined with the substructure approach for identifying structural parameters of a cable-stay bridge with large degree of freedoms online. Numerical analysis is carried out by first dividing the bridge structure into smaller substructures and then estimates the parameters of each substructure online using LSE method. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach is capable of identifying structural parameters, however, the accuracy and efficiency of identification results depend highly on the noise sensitivities of loading region, loading pattern as well as element size.

A Recommendation Procedure for Group Users in Online Communities

  • Nowadays many people participate in online communities for information sharing. But most recommender systems are designed for personalization of individual user, so it is necessary to develop a recommendation procedure for group users, such as participants in online communities. This paper proposes a group recommender system to recommend books for group users in online communities. For such a purpose, we suggest a group recommendation procedure consisting of two phases. The first phase is to generate recommendation list for 'big user' using collaborative filtering, and the second phase is to remove irrelevant books among previous list reflecting the preference of each individual user. The procedure is explained step by step with an illustrative example. And this procedure can potentially be applied to other domains, such as music, movies and etc.

  • 본 논문에서는 RPG 게임에서 중요한 비중을 차지하는 퀘스트 엔진에 대해 트라비아 온라인 게임을 기준으로 구축한 사례에 대하여 살펴본다. 트라비아 퀘스트 엔진은 퀘스트의 클래스, 전제 조건, 수행 순서 등에 대해 효과적으로 명세할 수 있는 스크립트 언어를 정의하여 퀘스트를 모델링하고 수행할 수 있도록 지원한다. 본 연구에서 소개하는 퀘스트 시스템은 향후 유사 온라인 RPG 게임의 퀘스트 시스템을 제작할 시, 참고할 수 있는 하나의 가이드라인이 될 수 있다.

Design of online damage images detection system for large-aperture mirrors of high power laser facility based on wavefront coding technology

  • The laser transport system of the high power laser facility is mainly composed of large-aperture laser transport mirrors (TMs). Obtaining the high-resolution online damage images during the operation, which is of great significance for operating safely of the mirrors and the facility. Based on wavefront coding, pan-tilt scanning and image stitching technologies, an online laser-damage images detection system is designed, and it can achieve high-precision detection of surface characteristics of large-aperture laser transport mirrors. The preliminary simulation proves that the system can solve the depth of field matching problem caused by pan-tilt tilt imaging and achieve higher resolution.

  • 본 연구는 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 일반 검색시스템과 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템을 구축하고 두 실험시스템의 사용성을 비교 평가하여 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템의 유용성을 밝히고자 하였다. 사용성은 전체적으로 온라인목록의 Open API 기반 일반 검색시스템 보다온라인목록의 Open API 기반 메타 검색시스템이 더 높게 나타났고, 통계적으로유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 국내 도서관들이 인터넷서점, 검색엔진, 웹포털 등에서 공개한 도서검색용 Open API를 통해 제공되는 풍부한 콘텐트를 온라인목록에서 공유하고 활용하면 서지데이터의 확충, 주제접근과 주제검색 능력의 확대, 메타 검색서비스의 확장, 소장도서의 이용가능성 증대, 목록비용의 절감 등에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

코로나19 사태에 온라인 강의의 시스템 특성이 강의만족도에 미치는 영향연구: ICT 활용능력의 조절효과를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of System Characteristics of Online Lectures on Lecture Satisfaction in the COVID-19 Crisis: Focused on the Moderating Effect of ICT Utilization Ability)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 온라인 강의가 지속됨에 따라 온라인 강의 시스템, 이용 동기, ICT 활용능력, 강의만족도 간의 관계성을 찾기 위함이다. 이를 위해 우송대학교 재학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 유효표본 330부를 확보하였으며, SPSS 25.0을 활용하여 실증분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과는 시스템의 편의성·용이성·보안성과 이용 동기가 강의만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, 조절효과의 변수인 ICT 활용능력은 시스템 특성(용이성 및 보안성)과 강의만족도 간의 관계에서도 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 학생들의 온라인 강의의 만족도를 높이기 위해 서는 새로운 온라인 시스템 개발은 물론 ICT활용 능력을 향상시키기 위한 별도의 교육프로그램 개발 및 운영의 필요성을 제시하였다. 끝으로 온라인 강의에 대한 만족도를 높이기 위해 향후 다양한 표본조사와 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.

  • Along with the rapid emergence of the Internet and e-commerce, online auctions are hitting the spotlights. The inconveniences found in off-line auctions, such as time and place restriction and limited number of items, are solved in the online auction. However, not so many auction sites have integrated auction information systems, which monitor the present status of auctions, resulting in greater inconvenience for the online auction users. Moreover, there is no auction site that suggests the appropriate starting or closing price that is useful for users when they make, their bids, What the online auction users need is an auction system that can solve such problems. This study is purported for solving the problems by designing and implementing a real time auction system that applies the comparison search functions and the agent functions. In other words, an integrated database system using a bidder-oriented agent for providing information is built so that the users can search and compare the information on the item they are interested in and make a faster and more accurate purchase. Also the appropriate starting and closing prices are offered to the sellers and bidders through the integrated system for a closer and more accurate comparison and analysis of the prices. For future work, the product recommendation service, which accurately reflects the bidding patterns, and the methods for studying the multi bidding pattern will be applied to the suggested system to realize a real time auction information system that supports CRM(Customer Relationship Management) .

Online banking service: A comparative study between developing country (Bangladesh) and developed country (South Korea)

  • Purpose - This describes a comparative study about the Online banking system between developing country (Bangladesh) and developed country (South Korea). Research design, data, and Methodology - Use comparison as the descriptive situation, secondary data were used to determine the differences between both countries with respect to Online banking. And also show the representative cases of online banking, kakao bank and bKash. Result - The results showed that the data indicate that both nations are dissimilar in providing basic and additional services offered by their traditional commercial banks. And different cultures and traditions in financial industry will play a major role in the adaption and development of online banking industry among different nations. Belief on lack of effort on educating the consumers toward online banking further affected the usability of online banking in both countries. Conclusions - this comparative study provides insightful guidelines for the future development of online banking industry in developing nations and worldwide. Also, managerial and empirical implications are discussed with suggestions for future research.
