Background: Given the potential benefits of wellness programs promoting physical activity of the community-dwelling frail elderly, it is recommended that comprehensive wellness programs combined with the component of physical activity. This may improve overall health and potentially lower the health care cost of the frail elderly. In general, the frail elderly residing in community or those after being discharged from hospitals are often committed to enhancing the status of participation in physical activity. Objects: The purposes of this study were to identify specific shortcomings of current wellness programs as part of continuum of community rehabilitation services and to propose alternatives for the care of the community-dwelling frail elderly. Through this study, geriatric health care professionals may be able to implement assessments and programs to successfully promote an effective continuum of care for the frail elderly. Methods: Article reviews were summarized and evaluated. Results: A model elaborating the relationship between components of successful wellness program and participation in physical activities for the community-dwelling frail elderly are recommended. First, periodic monitoring the levels of physical activity by the use of online measurement system should be considered. Second, individualized adaptive technologies for selecting optimal physical activities for the elderly may be better fit to individuals' current status of physical activity. Conclusion: The current status of physical activity in community-dwelling frail elderly can be monitored by online assessment systems. Through the innovative measurement system, elderly may assess his/her physical activity status overtime, select optimal physical activities matching the status, and create the elderly's own adaptive wellness programs that match to the status while residing in his/her community.

Digital platforms play crucial roles in terms of enabling and sustaining online communities. However, who really benefits from digital platform development, and what are the benefits digital platforms provide for the development of smart communities. This paper explores this question, the goal was to understand the links between digital platforms and smart communities, using the clustering methodology process to have a better understanding of characteristic of each digital platform, Twenty nine digital platforms is clustered and used as a study case. This paper explores how the categorization of digital platform characteristics encourages participation by a smart community, thus improving information and service delivery. On another side, the rise of digital platforms brings new challenges for policy maker to foster a smart community and firms the digital platform also offer benefits to giving effective and efficient service.
In line with network technology development and smart device penetration, the social network service (SNS) has expanded its influence. The SNS which is a service based on communication and sharing among people, has grown based on users' voluntary engagement and participation and its influence has appeared beyond the cyberspace into the overall areas of domestic and foreign culture and society. In particular, SNS-based real-time communication during diverse disasters, can help prevent further damage. By sharing information on social donation activities and environmental campaigns, people have used SNS as a tool to change the society in a more positive way. Such series of activities functioning as a power to change the society have been made much faster and wider through the help of a new media called SNS. To better understand such trends, we are required to study about the SNS and its user relationships first. In this context, this study sought to identify the effects of people's desire to build friendships through SNS on the voluntary and society-friendly activities of people. This study considers online pro-social behavior and proposes online citizenship behavior. Citizenship behavior has been examined in organization context. That is, organizational citizenship behavior explains an employee's pro-social behavior in an organization context. Organizational citizenship behavior is characterized by the individual's helping others and promoting the functioning of the organization. By applying organizational citizenship behavior to an online context, we propose online citizenship behavior, an individual's pro-social behavior in an online context. An individual's pro-social behavior, i.e., online citizenship behavior, could be considered as a way for the better management of online community and society. It also needs to examine the development of online citizenship behavior. This study examined online citizenship behavior from the friendship desire. Because online society or community is characterized by online relationships between members, the friendship between members would lead to pro-social behavior, i.e., helping others and promoting the functioning of the online society, in such online context. This study further examines the antecedents of friendship desire in terms of SNS interactivity with its four factors. The findings based on the survey from real SNS users explain that the three factors of SNS interactivity (connectivity, enjoyment, and synchronicity) increases online friendship desire which then increases online citizenship behavior significantly. This study contributes to the literature by examining the key role of online friendship desire in leading to online citizenship behavior and identifying its antecedents in terms of SNS characteristics. The findings in this study also provide guidance on how to manage online society and how to promote the effective functioning of SNS.
Online communities have become substantial aspects of people's daily lives. However, only a few communities succeed and attract the majority of users, whereas the vast majority struggle for survival. When various communities coexist, important factors should be identified and examined to maintain attraction and achieve success. The concept of coexistence as been extensively explored in organizational ecology literature. However, given the similarities and differences between online communities and traditional organizations, the direct application of organizational theories to online contexts should be cautiously explored. In this study, we follow the roadmap proposed by Davis et al. (2007) in conducting agent-based modeling and simulation study to develop a novel theory based on the previous literature. In the case of two coexisting communities, we find that community size and participation costs can significantly affect the development of a community. A large community can attract a high number of active members who frequently log in. By contrast, low participation costs can encourage the reading and posting behaviors of members. We also observe the important influence of the distribution of interests on the topic trends of communities. A community composed of a population that focuses on only one topic can quickly converge on the topic regardless of whether the initial topic is broad or focused. This simulation model provides theoretical implications to literature and practical guidance to operators of online communities.
This study investigated the classification and characteristics of augmented reality (AR) content of fashion brands. The AR contents of fashion brands were classified according to user participation space and content delivery method. Based on these types, eight case studies were conducted, along with a discussion of AR characteristics in terms of presence, interactivity, and immersion. The results showed that AR content could be divided into four types: offline visit-external information type, offline visit-internal experience type, online utilization-external information type, and online utilization-internal experience type. It was also found that there were differences in characteristics for each type of AR content. First, the offline visit-external information type requires various new content that can provide entertainment immersion to users. Second, the offline visit-internal experience type requires a powerful inducement for users to visit a specific space providing AR content and to participate in augmented environments. Third, the online utilization-external information type needs a series of AR content that can consistently incite users' curiosity about brands and products. Fourth, the online utilization-internal experience type needs effective content to improve users' shopping experience with the virtual fitting of fashion accessories, such as eyewear, hats, jewelry, and watches. Accordingly, fashion companies should create contents that can provide appropriate presence, interactivity, and immersion by AR type.

Social innovation refers to activities that solve social problems by developing new ideas in cooperation with actors close to the field for the purpose of preserving the sustainability of society. In the field of social innovation, voices calling for a bottom-up method that starts with citizen participation are growing, and the need to improve public officials' awareness of social innovation and strengthen professionalism is being raised. In the era of Covid 19 and the 4th industrial revolution, digital literacy is being emphasized to us. In the field of social innovation, the need to strengthen social activities using digital media is growing. In this paper, an example of online social innovation project education based on the design thinking methodology was presented for public officials in Busan to improve their awareness of social innovation and secure expertise, and the effect of job competency reinforcement was statistically verified. As a result of statistical analysis, the average difference between the 'online communication' factor and the 'online empathy' factor was the largest, and it can be interpreted that digital literacy for social innovation has been strengthened.
The purpose of this study is to explore the current status and effects of online discussion classes in universities. To this end, a survey was conducted on university students attending a total of four universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province to diagnose their perceptions of the operation of online discussion classes and their effects. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, cross-analysis, F-test, T-test, and Scheffe test by applying SPSS program. As a result of the study, first, it was found that 'non-real-time recorded lessons' and 'real-time interactive video lessons' were mainly conducted at universities after the COVID19 crisis. Second, in the online class method, 'real-time interactive video class' had a positive effect on 'debate class preference' and was found to be more meaningful. Third, college students recognized participation in online discussion classes as a foundation for expanding creative thinking skills, suggesting that strengthening through smooth communication and exchanges based on learners' sufficient cognitive processes on discussion methods and procedures is more helpful.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing affected daily life and leisure activities, including forest recreational activities. This study identified changes in people's participation in forest recreational activities and factors affecting their participation. It collected data from 1,000 samples through an online survey and analyzed it using a binary logit model with interaction terms. It was observed that there were decreases in the participation in visits to urban parks and green areas, outdoor activities in forests and mountains, and trips to mountain villages after the COVID-19 outbreak. People in their 40s, 50s, and 60s were more likely to decrease their participation in all kinds of forest recreational activities than those in their 20s. Moreover, higher household income earners were more likely to decrease their involvement in outdoor activities in forests and mountains. With respect to the place of residence, the residents in the Seoul metropolitan area were less likely to decrease their participation in trips to mountain villages than those outside this area. Thus, this study suggests that online forest recreation information services and forest management are needed to meet the demands of forest recreation for young generations and diversify the function of forests and rural areas as a safe leisurely space.

The study presented an online class case focusing on G University's writing course, and analyzed students' satisfaction. Through this, it aimed to analyze the possibility of online education and to explore efficient operation of online writing lectures. According to the result of looking into the online writing class run by G University, students' satisfaction with the online writing class was high. Despite the limited circumstances, students' participation in the class was high and they also actively participated in online correction. However, there was also a challenge to address. Online writing education showed limitations in terms of smooth communication with students. Correction of writing can be done online sufficiently but the limitations of communication should be supplemented to improve the completeness of interactive education. In addition, most of the students participated in online correction, but some did not participate. It is necessary to encourage students to participate voluntarily to make online classes take roots. After all, for the effective operation of online writing classes, strategies and systems for teaching and learning should be prepared for utilization of various educational video media, sufficient learning of theory and practice of writing, and smooth communication between professors and students. Only when these conditions are met, online writing classes will be able to operate steadily.
Purpose: This study aims to explore how consumers respond to the immoral actions of a CEO. More specifically, this research focuses on the moral reasoning processes used by consumers in order to maintain support for the CEO despite the immoral action. In addition, this research suggests that support for the CEO would improve product purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology: To test the hypotheses presented, an online research company was hired and online survey was conducted with adult participants. Online research company sent an email to the potential subjects asking their participation in an online survey. Subjects were able to participate in the online survey by clicking a link to the survey. When the participants clicked the link, they were instructed to read a fictitious newspaper article on a CEO's immoral action. And then, they were asked to answer several questions online. Responses were obtained from 336 adults participants and data were analyzed using SPSS Hayes Macro for a moderation effect and AMOS for a structural equation model. Result: Moral reasoning processes were divided into moral decoupling and moral rationalization and analyzed to determine their influence on product purchase. Also in this study, we suggest the public self-consciousness of consumers as an antecedent of moral reasoning processes, and argue that consumers with high public self-consciousness are more likely to engage in moral decoupling than moral rationalization. Conclusions: Our results showed that moral decoupling and moral rationalization improved the consumer's perception of corporate ethicality, which increased product purchase intention. In addition, consumers with high public self-consciousness were more likely to engage in moral decoupling than in moral rationalization. In addition, this research suggested that severity of the scandal would moderate the impact of public self-consciousness on moral decoupling. However, this hypothesis was not supported statistically since most participants perceived the scandal to be a highly severe incident, that may lead to an insignificant interaction effect between severity of the scandal and public self-consciousness. This research expands the scope of available research on corporate ethics and consumer responses to negative information involving celebrities and provides practical implications for corporate crisis management.
