YOLOv2와 무인항공기를 이용한 자동차 탐지에 관한 연구 (The Study of Car Detection on the Highway using YOLOv2 and UAVs)

  • In this paper, we propose fast object detection method of the cars by applying YOLOv2(You Only Look Once version 2) and UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) while on the highway. We operated Darknet, OpenCV, CUDA and Deep Learning Server(SDX-4185) for our simulation environment. YOLOv2 is recently developed fast object detection algorithm that can detect various scale objects as fast speed. YOLOv2 convolution network algorithm allows to calculate probability by one pass evaluation and predicts location of each cars, because object detection process has simple single network. In our result, we could find cars on the highway area as fast speed and we could apply to the real time.

전 종격동 종양 환자의 마취시 발생한 환기장애 (Ventilation Impairment During Anesthesia in Patients with Anterior Mediastinal Mass)

  • Because of location, a mediastinal mass may cause complications such as a major airway obstruction, a superior vena caval obstruction, and cardiac compression during general anesthesia. The patient's condition need to be assessed by several methods to predict the risks associated with general anesthesia. The authors took computed tomographs for a preoperative evaluation of two patients with an anterior mediastinal mass, and the risk of perioperative complications was predicted by measuring the tracheal area. The patients were managed according to the preoperative evaluation but severe ventilation impairments were encountered during anesthesia. In one patient, stable ventilation could not be maintained until spontaneous breathing appeared. The operation was cancelled and the patient was brought into the ICU. In the other patient, a tracheal tube was inserted deeper in an attempt to pass the narrowed tracheal portion due to mediastinal tumor compression resulting in improved ventilation.

저 전송률 동화상 압축에서 후처리 방법 및 후처리 방법의 주관적 객관적 평가 (Post-filtering in Low Bit Rate Moving Picture Coding, and Subjective and Objective Evaluation of Post-filtering)

  • MPEG 및 H.263과 같은 동화상 압축 방식에 의하여 고 압축된 영상이 복원되었을 때 블록화 현상, 코너 이상치 (coner outliers), 링잉 잡음이 발생한다. 블록화 현상은 8x8 블록의 코너 (corner) 점에서 발생하는 잡음이며, 링잉 잡음은 영상의 에지 주변에서 발생하는 잡음이다. 그 이유는 MPEG 및 H.263이 8x8 화소 블록의 DCT 계수를 양자화 (quantization)하기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG-4 및 H.263의 복원된 영상에서 발생하는 블록화 현상, 코니 이상치, 링잉 잡음을 줄이기 위해 기존의 저자들에 의하여 제안된 방법에 대한 주관적, 객관적 평가를 수행한다. 이 신호 적응형 후처리 방법은 압축된 데이터로부터 추출한 8x8 DCT 계수의 분포 정보와 움직임 벡터 정보를 이용하여 적응적으로 양자화 효과를 (quantization effect) 줄인다. 블록화 현상은 1차원 수평 및 수직 저대역 필터에 (low pass filter) 의하여 줄게 되고, 링잉 잡음은 2차원 신호 적응 필터 (signal-adaptive filter)에 의하여 줄게 된다. 신호 적응형 후처리 방법과 MPEG-4 VM (verification model)의 후처리 방법에 대한 MSSM (Modified Single Stimulus Method)을 이용한 주관적 \ulcorner질평가, 객관적 화질평가 (PSNR), 계산량 복잡도 (complexity)에 관한 비교연구가 컴퓨터 실험에 의하여 수행된다. 컴퓨터 실험을 위하여 MPEG-4에서 입력으로 사용하는 시험용 비데오 시퀀스를 이용하였다. 주관적인 화질 평가에서 두 방법은 비슷한 결과를 보였다. 반면 객관적 평가와 계산량 복잡도 분석 측면에 있어서, 신호 적응형 후처리 방법이 MPEG-4 VM의 후처리 방법보다 우수한 성능을 보였다.

기본간호학 실습에 있어 자가학습을 통한 능숙도 측정 - 배변관장을 중심으로 - (Measurement of competency through self study in basic nursing lab. practice focused on cleansing enema)

  • This study was conducted to provide the basic data necessary for the improvement of the teaching method for basic nursing practice as well as the effectiveness of the practice by examining the students' competency in cleansing enema after doing the self study instead of the traditional education. To examine the competency in cleansing enema after the self study, this study is an one group pretest-posttest design that subjects did the enema practice through the self study. The subjects were 89 sophomore students at Y University. College of Nursing. In basic nursing lab practice class, cleansing enema self study module was given to the students which was developed by the researcher based on the literature review and asked them to finish doing the pre study and checking the self study evaluation criteria after reading the goal, learning activities and theoretical guideline. After watching the video tape, students practiced the process in the module by themselves. For the competency in cleansing enema. repeated autonomous practices were done during the open lab other than the regular class. Whenever the practice was done, the frequency and time were measure and documented. When the student felt confident through repeated practices, the competency was evaluated by the researcher and two assistants based on the evaluation criteria. And the process was repeated till the student could perform all the items on evaluation criteria completely. The data were collected for 42 days from Oct. 15 to Nov. 26 in 1996. Collected data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, Pearson correlation coefficient and variance analysis. The results are summarized as follows : 1. 43.2% of the students were favorable to nursing and 63.6% like lecture, but 71.6% like practice. So they were more interested in practice than in lecture. 2. 62.3% of the students scored high in written test, 97.8% scored high in practice. So the practice score was better. 3. The frequency of repeated practice to pass the test ranged from 1 to 4 and the average is 2.2. 4. The average time needed in preparation and the performance was nearly the same regardless of the frequency. It took 5 to 38 minutes for those who passed the test after practicing once and the average was 16 minutes. 5 to 60 minutes were taken for those who practiced twice to pass the test and the average was 21 minutes. Those who passed the test after three practices needed 8 to 30 minutes and the average was 15 minutes, which was similar to the time that the students who passed the test for the first trial. Only one student passed the test after 4 practices and it took 10 minutes. 5. 64% of the students agreed that the context and the content of the module were appropriate for the self study and 68.2% were satisfied. And 71.9% said that the module helped them to practice the enema self study 6. Though only 42% of the students were satisfied with the video. 50.6% said that it was helpful for the self study. 7. 52.3% of the students were satisfied with the self study method, and 86.6% obtained self-confidence when performing the enema. 8. The lower the student's practice score was, the more practices were needed for them to pass the test(r=-.213, P<.05). As a result, for performing the enema practice competently, two or more practice opportunities were needed to be given. And it is possible to obtain the less complex nursing skills through the self study, when enough learning resources and assistance such as learning guidance or video tapes are provided. Based on this study. I want to suggest that. 1. There must be college policy that can support the new method instead of the traditional learning method for the students to attain the proficiency in basic nursing skills. 2. The assistant materials should be developed as soon as possible to promote the self study of basic nursing skills.

IT기업의 규제샌드박스 활용 분석 (Analysis of Regulatory Sandbox Usage by IT Companies)

  • This study aims to apply the concept of regulatory stringency to the regulatory sandbox with a fresh perspective. The regulatory sandbox is a system that gives opportunities under certain conditions to new technologies or businesses that have not been launched due to inadequacy or insufficiency in legal systems. Previous research on regulatory sandboxes has mainly focused on discussions about their impact on specific technologies or business domains. This study attention to the results according to the evaluations. Among them, whether special cases for demonstration can evolve into official permission has garnered significant attention. For this study, among the cases that passed the regulatory sandbox evaluation from February, 2019, to December, 2022, 162 cases in the field of ICT convergence were selected. The evaluation results were classified into three groups 'positive interpretation (Fast Track)', 'temporary permission', and 'special case for demonstration.' Each case was assigned to one of the three groups. Through the comparative analysis, the common characteristics and differences were summarized. Then, this study explored improvement measures to pass a less restrictive regulatory sandbox. The analysis of the cases revealed that the differences in each evaluation result were attributed to variations in the technological characteristics and user protection features. Considering these differences, as well as the higher weight and importance of the preparation stage for sandbox application, this study suggested a three-step approach to prepare for temporary permission and positive interpretation rather than special case for demonstration. In addition, this thesis discussed the policy limitations of the regulatory sandbox mechanism in South Korea and the limitations of the current study. Hopefully, the results of this study would be beneficial to individuals and companies, particularly venture companies and startups seeking to develop new technologies or businesses and utilize regulatory sandboxes.

저압방전 불꽃에서 전극재질이 점화에너지에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Electrode Material on the Minimum Ignition Energy in Low-Voltage Spark Discharge)

  • In the hazardous areas where explosive gases, vapor or mists exist, electrical apparatus and installations must be of explosion-proof construction to prevent or limit the danger of the ignition of potentially explosive atmosphere. In Korea, nine types of protection have been specified in the government regulations at present: flameproof enclosure, pressurization, oil immersion, increased safety, intrinsic safety, non-incendive, sand filling, encapsulation, and special types. Among these types, the intrinsic safety has the construction which limit or by-pass igniting the electric energy using electronic devices. This type has lots of merits but at the same time requires a high-degree of technology. In this paper, we investigated several dominating factors which affect the minimum ignition energy: this energy plays a very important role in design and evaluation of the intrinsic safety type electrical apparatus. Eletrode material, which is one of the most important factors, was intensively studied for the five sorts of material(Al, Cd, Mg, Sn, and Zn) with performing experiment in a low-voltage inductive circuit using IEC-type spark apparatus. The experimental results show that the minimum ignition energy of electrode material is varied: highest in Cd and lowest in Sn. We also confirmed the effect of eletrode make-and-break speed and magnetic field magnitude.

  • 철도운행에 있어 분기기는 열차를 주행선로에서 이웃한 선로로 이동시키는 매우 중요한 역할을 수행하는 중요한 장치이다. 우리나라 철도는 기존선의 속도향상을 달성하기 위하여 곡선부가 딴은 우리나라 지형에 적합한 최고운행속도 180 km/h의 틸팅열차를 개발하여 현재 시제차량 제작을 마치고 시운전 시험이 단계적으로 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존선 속도향상을 위해 개발된 틸팅열차가 분기기를 통과할 때 발생하는 소음특성을 현장계측실험을 통해 평가하였다.

중학교 과학과 교육과정 및 그 운영진단I -교육과정 목표 및 목표도달도- (An Analysis and Survey on the status of the Korean Middle School Science Curriculum: The Science Objectives and Their Achievement)

  • To figure out the present status of Korean middle school science curriculum in the national level is not an easy job. especially in the restricted condition such as this research project. Therefore, to achieve a meaningful result, the case study type of research was adopted In the study five middle schools (2boy's and 3girl's)were selected and examined intensively. In this study, two major works were done. One was the analysis of the present middle school science curriculum and the other was to examine the current status of the administration of the curriculum in schools. This first study focused on the evaluation of the current Curriculum. Acording to the result, the objectives stated in the teachers guide and implied by the testbook were heavily concentrated on the knowledge level in Boom's taxonomy. Achievement on the objectives which were selected as important were very low. The average pass rate for the selected objectives was less than 50% of the students. This means the content level of the present science curriculum is not appropriate. The study suggested that the present middle school science curriculum should be revised and the content should be replaced with easier topics to match the students cognitive level. The study also suggested further studies to measure the cognitive level of Korean students in national scale.

  • It is required to use substantial amount of wet strength resin for producing multi-functional mulch papers since these paper products shold maintain its strength properties when they exposed to outdoor weather for several months. While producing mulch papers it is usual to observe significant amount of foam at white water silo. Thus it is imperative to use defoaming or antifoaming agents. In this study diverse defoaming and antifoaming agents have been tested for their effective-ness in eliminating foams that produced. It was shown that combined use of a silicone type defoamer and a fatty acid type anti-foaming agent was msot effective in eliminating foams. These chemicals were used in trial production of mulch papers and their influence on paper-making wet end system was examined including one pass retention cationic demand con-ductivity pH etc. It was found that the defoaming agents were very effective for removing foams in trial production. Tensile strengths of the mulch papers produced were significantly greater than commericial mulch papers produced in Japan.
