  • On-machine automatic measuring software from 3-D solid modeler is generally applied to assess the functional performance of a final produce for computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Automatic measuring software may also be performed on individual components of CNC machine in which some functional aspect of the component must be examined and cannot be implicity determined by means of a mechanical inspection. The manufacturing specialist, combined with the appropriate software simulation, can not only create the commands to drive the virtual measuring but also can check for mistakes by viewing the computer graphics simulation of the tool cutting sequence.

  • On-machine measuring system of Numerically Control(NC) machines permit computer control of basic material cutting processes of moulds. A part of mould designed within a CAD/CAM system can be manufactured by generation of tool paths by the measuring systems. Since the three-dimensional geometry by AutoCAD of the part is contained in the data base, the manufacturing specialist combined with the appropriate software simulation, can not only create the commands to drive the virtual measuring and standardization of measuring modules but also can check for mistakes by viewing the computer graphics simulation of the tool cutting sequence.

Development of Shaft Straightening Machine with Springback Observer (스프링백 관측기를 이용한 축교정기 개발)

  • In order to compensate for out-of-straightness of shafts, an automatic straightening process composed of an automatic measuring module, an automatic control unit and operating softwares was developed with a hydraulic press. The out-of-sraightness of each shaft was measured automatically in the measuring stage. An optimal pressure point was determined to minimize TIR value of the shaft according to press count of 3-points bending process. In the geometric adaptive control procedure, punch stroke and springback of the shaft were predicted by an observer using on-line measured values of press force and deflection amount I each press count. An automatic straightening machine was realized with the measuring module, the GAC module, PLD, IBM-PC and the operating software on the hydraulic press. the validity of the proposed straightening process was confirmed through a series of experiments with cam shafts.

  • Software classification has several applications such as copyright infringement detection, malware classification, and software automatic categorization in software repositories. It can be also employed by software filtering systems to prevent the transmission of illegal software. If illegal software is identified by measuring software similarity in software filtering systems, the average number of comparisons can be reduced by shrinking the search space. In this study, we focused on the classification of Windows executables using API call information and machine learning. We evaluated the classification performance of machine learning-based classifier according to the refinement method for API information and machine learning algorithm. The results showed that the classification success rate of SVM (Support Vector Machine) with PolyKernel was higher than other algorithms. Since the API call information can be extracted from binary executables and machine learning-based classifier can identify tampered executables, API call information and machine learning-based software classifiers are suitable for software filtering systems.

  • The inspection unit which is developed and used in this study, is processed the shape data from the CCD camera to seek welding bite section shape, and then calculated as a real dimension from measuring the value of each inspection item. The reason of measuring with the real in this study is came out from the image method which used for a long time, which is extricated the characteristic as the dimension of pixel by recognize pixel. The measurement method of the section shape is that we decide the thresholding value after we drew the histogram to binarizate the object. After that, we make flat the object to get rid of the noise and measure the shape of welded part through the boundarization of the object. The shape measurement is that measure the value of the welding part to adapt the actual operation program from using the ratio between the actual dimension of the standard specimen and the dimension of image, to measure the ratio between the actual product and the camera image. The inspection algorithm which estimates the quality of welded product is developed and also, the software GUI(Graphic User Interface) which processes the automatic test function of the inspection system is developed. We make the foundation of the inspection automatic system and we will help to apply other welding machine.

  • It is very important to measure linear cycle plane positioning accuracy of NC lathes as they affect those of all other machines machined by them in industries. For example, if the linear cycle plane positioning accuracy of each axes directions is bad, the accuracy of works will be wrong and the change-ability will be bad in the assembly of machine parts. In this paper, computer software systems are organized to measure linear displacements of ATC(Automatic tool changer) of NC lathes using linear scale and time pulses comming out from computer in order to get data at constant time intervals from the sensors. And each sets of error data gotten from the test is expressed to plots by computer treatment and the results of linear cycle plane positioning error motion estimated to numerics by statistical treatments.

  • It is very important to measure circular motion accuracy of NC lathes it affects accuracy, performance, interchange ability and quality of machine parts machined by the NC lathes in industries. So, in this study, measuring units system to measure circular motion accuracy two axes circular motion accuracy of NC lathes was composed of two optical linear scales installed on the z and x-axes of work coordinate system on NC lathe and a computer inserted with PC counter card enables to obtain measuring data. Here, ATC(Automatic Tool Changer) and moving part of linear scales are fixed with magnet bases in order to measure circular motion accuracy of the ATC of NC lathe. And next, computer software was developed in order to measure the circular motion accuracy of NC lathe under resolution of 0.1 $\mu\textrm{m}$ using two linear scales, and also computer softwares were developed so that measuring data could be modeled on plots and be analyzed numerically,

  • This paper is described about the on-line, real-time quality information management system as the infrastructure of CIM, which we developed for the full automatic washing machine assembly line. This System is composed of Ethernet LAN, RS-485 Network, POP terminal, BAR CODE Scanner, PLC, ROBOT, measuring equipments and real-time processing software. We will run this system from next month regularly.

  • It is very important to measure linear motion accuracy of NC lathe as it affects all other parts of machines machined by them in industries. If the motion accuracy of NC lathe is bad, the dimension accuracy and the change-ability of works will be bad in the assembly of machine parts. In this paper, computer software systems are organized to measure linear motion of ATC(Automatic tool changer) on zx plane of NC lathe using two linear scales and the time pulses coming out from computer in order to get data at constant time intervals from the linear scales. And each sets of error data obtained from the test is discripted to plots and the results of linear motion errors are expressed as numerics by computer treatment.

The Development Measuring System of Temperature Effect to Produce Electric Power of Solar Cell

  • This paper focuses on a temperature effects on a PV panel which has been installed in Thailand. The main objective is cleaning PV panels and reduce temperature of PV panel by water injects from waterway and experimental results of PV power what it is difference. This project is designed by PLC control system which water injects and control PV temperature, In addition, this project consists of hardware and software such as water pump, water injection and PLC control has been automatically and it can be control system manually. The automatic control system is working when PV temperature rises up over 45 degree Celsius after that the pumping machine would inject water to the surface of PV panels and it must be stop when the PV panel temperature comes down less than 45 degree Celsius. The result of actual experimental found that the control system has been done correctly under specify condition. The experimental has been shown electrical data before and after water injects on PV system found that the electrical power a bit increases and The energy has been taken from PV panel less than energy consumption equipment of control system which taken to operate the water injecting system.
