지하철과 전력선의 누설전류 측정을 위한 저장형 데이터 계측장치 (DATA LOGGER APPARATUS FOR MEASUREMENT STRAY CURRENT OF SUBWAY AND POWER LINE)

  • In present, most of metallic structures(gas pipeline, oil pipeline, water pipeline, etc) are running parallel with subway and power line in seoul. Moreover subway system and power line make a stray current due to electrical corrosion on metallic structures. The owner of metallic structures has a burden of responsibility for the protection of corrosion and the prevention against big accident such as gas explosion or soil pollution and so on. So, they have to measure and analyze the data about P/S(Pipe to Soil) potential, amplitude of stray current, point of source of stray current and so. In this paper, results of development about data logger apparatus for measurement stray current of subway and power line are presented.

  • For an accurate on-line measurement of the ship's attitude the paper develops an intelligent sensing system which uses one servo-type accelerometer and two servo-type inclinometers appropriately located on the ship. By considering the dynamics of the servo-controlled rigid pendulums of the inclinometers, linear equations for the rolling and pitching of the ship are derived separately from each other. Moreover, one accelerometer is used for extracting the heaving signal. Through the introduction of linear dynamic models and the linear observation equations for the heaving, rolling and pitching, the on-line measurement of the three signals can be reduced to the state estimation of the linear dynamic systems. A bank of Kalman filters is adaptively used to achieve the on-line accurate state estimation and to overcome changes in parameters in the linear dynamic models.

  • Roll to roll (R2R) system, known as 'web processing', is the process of producing these electronic devices on a roll of flexible plastic. With the need of improved performance and productivity in R2R industry, effective control and on-line supervision for web quality is essential. In this report, we present a system for on-line measurement of wrinkles, one of defects incurring due to compressive stresses developed in the web. This system is able to capture an image generated when a well defined line shape laser beam passes through a transparent web. The system calculates 3D shape information, including the height of the wrinkle on the web, and displays the images for the shape information of the web in real time. By using area scan camera and machine vision laser, this system takes more advantages of setting up as a simple and low cost system compared to the line scan camera systems that widely used in web manufacturing. Specific calibration method and analysis on the achievable accuracy will be discussed.

  • 공기중의 먼지를 수정진동자를 이용한 미량저울을 써서 측정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 측정장치를 컴퓨터에 연결하여 여러 개의 센서를 활용함으로서 동시측정이 가능한 장치를 만들었다. 본 연구에서는 실험장치의 구체적인 사항을 자세히 설명하여 비슷한 장치를 이용한 다른 유사한 실험에 활용하는 데 도움을 주고자 하였다. 연구의 결과 본 측정시스템이 공기 중 먼지농도의 연속측정에 적합함을 알 수 있었다.

온라인 굴절계를 이용한 알코올 농도와 측정 (Concentration Measurement of Alcohol Solution Using an On-Line Refractometer)

  • An on-line refractometer made of easily obtainable materials is built to determine the concentration of an alcohol solution, and its performance is examined by applying to the system of ethanol and water. Since the refractive index and the temperature are measured simultaneously, it is possible to compensate the effect of temperature which is not available with an existing on-line refeactometer. Therefore, it can be implemented in the application of process control. The experimental outcome indicates that the home-made refractometer has satisfactory reproducibility and reasonable accuracy for the industrial application.

  • A simple method of on-line stiffness measurement using the wrinkling behavior of paper web between rollers was developed. The theory and calculating equation were presented, and the theoretical maximum error associated with the equation was also presented. We called the stiffness measured by Taber tester as 'Taber stiffness', and by wrinkling behavior as 'wrinkle stiffness', respectively, for comparison. By using this method, on-line complete control of paper stiffness will be possible in near future. Special care about shear wrinkle and paper dimensional effects were addressed.

  • Direct measurement of the relative position between the end effector of robot and moving objects reduces difficulties caused by the joint encoder reading and transformation. For those purpose, the on-line sensing method using PSD sensor was developed in this paper. The sensor was calibrated on the precision table. Then, the relative position of a moving objects on the conveyor was measured while the robot was tracking the one.

  • Recently, electrical resistivity survey is used in the various fields and applied to urban area with many electrical noises. Therefor it's necessary to observe the electrical noise effect of the geological structure. The physical scale modeling was conducted for measuring the electric noise effect of the two geological models at various distances, depths and diameters of the electric noise objects. The results are as following. 1. When conductive noise object was vertical to the strike of geological structure and moved to the strike direction, the effect of conductive noise object at various separated distances to the measurement line was disappeared at a half distance measurement line length regardless of electrode arrays. 2. When conductive noise object was vertical to the strike of geological structure and moved to the strike direction, the effect of conductive noise object at various depths was disappeared at 4unit apart from the measurement line regardless of electrode arrays. 3. When conductive noise object was vertical to the strike of geological structure and moved to the strike direction, the effect of conductive noise object at various diameters was disappeared at 4unit apart from the measurement line regardless of electrode arrays.

${\lambda}/4$ 전송선로를 이용한 부하단 임피던스 측정방법에 관한 연구 (A study of measurement of the unknown load impedance using sectioned transmission line)

  • 본 논문에서는 물리적인 환경 변화에 의해 발생될 수 있는 갑작스런 부하단 임피던스의 변화를 정확히 측정할 수 있는 방법을 제시하였다. 부하단 임피던스 측정방법으로 ${\lambda}/4$ 전송선로(Sectioned Transmission Line) 상에서 측정된 전압을 이용하여 임의의 부하단 임피던스를 구하는 수식을 유도하였고, 계산된 수식의 결과 중 유효한 결과 만을 선택하는 부하단 임피던스 결정 알고리즘을 도출하였다. 제안된 임의의 부하단 임피던스 계산 수식과 부하단 임피던스 결정 알고리즘을 다양한 부하단이 적용된 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였고, 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 임의로 설정한 부하단 임피던스를 정확하게 찾아 주는 것을 확인하였다.

  • Automatic weld bead removal system is consisted of bead removal tool, bead profile measurement system and tool motion control system. In this paper, design of weld bead profile measurement system which is used for automatic weld bead removal system is described. The system measures the weld bead position, normal vector of the auto-body and weld bead profile. The optical sensor with structured laser beam is used as a sensor and comparison of the sensor that can be used for this purpose is discussed in detail. The measurement process and the related software developed for this purpose are also described. A median filter, average filter and long line filters are used and their effects in bead profile measurement are discussed. The measurement system is integrated into automatic bead removal system and is used to remove weld bead in rear pillar of automotive body. The whole system operates well in automotive body assembly line and thus the system is proved to be good for this purpose.
