This paper proposedan on-line learning controller which can be applied to nonlinear systems. The proposed on-line learning controller is based on the universal approximation by the local affine mapping-based neural networks. It has self-organizing and learning capability to adapt itself to the new environment arising from the variation of operating point of the nonlinear system. Since the learning controller retains the knowledge of trained dynamics, it can promptly adapt itself to situations similar to the previously experienced one. This prompt adaptability of the proposed control system is illustrated through simulations.

This study is aimed to investigate Internet Addiction among youths who are main users of computers and internet and related variables. The survey was conducted to 520 students from middle and high schools on Jeju and analyzed catmod Regression. model was used to analyse the efficients of the independent variables on the three groups according to Internet addiction level. The major results of this study are as follows; First, By the viewpoint of Young's criteria, it revealed that most young people(68.5 ％) use the internet at the level of occasional problem-solution users. The percentage two groups of average on-line users and internet addicts were 27.3% and 4.2%, respectively. Second, the variables having significant effects on the of internet addiction group are gender, the number of brothers, adaptation to school life, mother's age, and family control of internet use. Third, the variables which have a significant effect on the of average internet users group referred to internet addicts group are gender, adaptation to school life, satisfaction with family life, average monthly household income, and the number of visits to private computer establishments.

This paper presents a design method for an on-line adaptive neural networks based intelligent controller. The proposed neural controller, assuming PID controller is initially presented, learns the equivalent behaviors of the existing PID controller initially and switches to take over the PID control system. Then, it executes on-line adaptation via evaluating its performance and minimizing user defined cost function constantly so that the optimal control can be achieved. The PID controller and the proposed neural controller are investigated and compared in computer simulation.

Purpose : This study develops a substantive theory on the recipients' experience of adapting to a permanent pacemaker. Method : The study used the grounded theory method developed by Strauss and Corbin (1998). The participants of the study were 13 adults who had received a permanent pacemaker during the previous year. The study addressed the research question "what is the experience of adaptation in people who had received permanent pacemakers?" From October 2016 to March 2017, data were collected from the participants through in-depth interviews. Results : The core category indicating the essence of the adaptation experience was shown to be "accepting the pacemaker as part of my body and living in line with it." Conclusions : In nursing practice, the results of this study will assist nurses in improving their communications with and developing guidelines or interventions for their clients who have received permanent pacemakers. In the field of nursing education, this study is expected to provide a framework to understand the experiences of future nurses and other healthcare workers working with permanent pacemaker recipients.

It is very important to detect the bearing defects in rotating machinery since the critical failure of bearing cause a machinery shutdown. However it is difficult to detect the vibration signal resulting from the initial defects of bearing because of the high level of broadband noise. A signal processing technique, called the adaptive line enhancer(ALE) as one of adaptive filter, is studied in this work. This technique is to eliminate broadband noise without a prior knowledge of the noise and signal characteristics. Also we propose the optimal methods for selecting the three main ALE parameters such as correlation length, filter order and adaptation constant used in the adaptative process. Vibration signals for three abnormal bearings, including inner and outer raceways and ball defects, were acquired from Anderon(angular derivative of radius on)meter. The experimental results showed that the proposed technique can reliably detect the bearing defective signals masked by broadband noise.

본 논문에서는 전력선통신(Power Line Communication : PLC)을 이용하여 고열, 고압등 매우 열악한 작업 환경에서 작업자의 상황을 실시간 관리 할 수 있는 영상 송수신시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 시스템 설계의 중점 고려사항으로 단순화 구조의 적용, 설치 및 이동의 용이성 뿐만 아니라 고열이나 고압 등을 충분히 견딜 수 있고 다양한 노이즈 환경에서도 깨끗한 영상을 전송 할 수 있는 측면에 역점을 두었다.

Classical literature texts have been transmitted and recreated as subjective meanings in a wide variety of genres. Authors recreate another world with their own imagination and classical literature texts. This study has been conducted to analysis 'OnDal's Dream' which is an adaptation from 'OnDalJeon' in order to figure out the method of inheritance and the subject and message of the adaptation. The process of inheritance and acculturation appears in the literary world. Some adaptations stick to the genre of the original text, other adaptations change to various genres. There is the process of inheritance and acculturation in the aspect of structure of the adaptation 'OnDal's Dream'. lntertextuality can be found between 'OnDalJeon' and 'OnDal's Dream' in terms of the stages such as 'confrontation' between the ego and the world and 'overcoming' hardships. However, the recreation text has acculturation of the structure that shows the potential desire for elevation of social status at the end part of the work so I could possibly show that the adaptation has limitation because it was far from the dream of common people and laborers at that time. There are different structures and recognition systems between 'OnDal Jeon' and 'OnDal's Dream' because the formal is an epic tale the other is lyric tale. An epic tale has some partial symbols in its story line, while an lyric tale is a symbol as a whole. There is an exhibition of deep emotion which is subjectivized and symbolized against the world in the adaptation 'OnDal's Dream'. And the inheritance of unreality, which is acculturation to the world of dream, from the original text can be found in the adaptation. First of all, study between the original text and the recreation text should be conducted in terms of intertextuality. Secondly, an instruction on the inheritance which is based on intertextuality between the original text and the recreation text should be conducted. Thirdly, an instruction about the structure of a genre and differences of recognition systems according to inheritance or conversion of a genre. It will be helpful for children to stimulate to take an interest in classical literature texts and traditional arts, to learn more recreation texts, and to develop the practical ability to recreate works. Based on above study, an instruction which shows a spiritual value of literature should be conducted.

This paper presents adaptive add-on control algorithms for theconventional mode of operation of MEMS z-axis gyroscopes. This scheme is realized by adding an outer loop to a conventional force-balancing scheme that includes a parameter estimation algorithm. The parameter adaptation algorithm estimates the angular rate, identifies and compensates the quadrature error, and may permit on-line automatic mode tuning. The convergence and resolution analysis show that the proposed adaptive add-on control scheme prevents the angular rate estimate from being contaminated by the quadrature error, while keeping ideal resolution performance of a conventional force-balancing scheme.

Adaptation in dynamic environments gains a significant advantage by combining evolution and learning. We propose an on-line, realtime evolutionary learning mechanism to determine the structure and the synaptic weights of a neural network controller for mobile robot navigations. We support our method, based on (1+1) evolutionary strategy, which produces changes during the lifetime of an individual to increase the adaptability of the individual itself, with a set of experiments on evolutionary neural controller for physical robots behaviors.

This paper proposes the algorithm of servo- writing based on feedback error learning neural networks. The controller consists of feedback controller using PID and feedforward controller using gaussian radial basis function network. Because the RBFNs are trained by on-line rule, the controller has adaptation capability. The performance of the proposed controller is compared to that of conventional PID controller. Proposed algorithm shows better performance than PID controller.
