유압 전자 파일럿밸브를 이용한 섬유송출기 속도제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Speed Control of Textiles Let off Using Hydraulic Solenoid Pilot Valve)

  • Machine of textiles let off is equipment supplying constantly fabrics. Nowdays, as it is replaced band - brake type with hydraulic motor driven type, we looked into characteristic of hydraulic solenoid pilot direction valve(SPDV) for controlling acceleration performance of hydraulic motor. This study deals with controlling the initial speed of textiles let off machine. Finally, to control the initial speed of hydraulic motor, we controlled the adjustment screw of SPDV by a hand. Test which was carried out in the laboratory shows that initial speed of textiles let off could be improved by controlling adjustment screw of SPDV. Also, the results of experiment work were compared with dynamic characteristic of other on/off solenoid direction valve(SDV).

벤더형 고응답 압전밸브의 주파수 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Frequency Characteristics of a Bender Type High-Speed Piezoelectric Pneumatic Valve)

  • Two kinds of piezoelectric actuator are applied to the valve for controlling the direction, the flow and the pressure of the fluid. One is a stack type piezoelectric actuator which has very fast response characteristics but very tiny displacement. The other is a bender type piezoelectric actuator which has also fast response characteristics but lower than the stack type one, and has longer displacement than the stack type one. So, the bender type piezoelectric actuator has advantage to apply to the valve for controlling a large amount of flow and fast on-off operating. In this study, the bender type piezoelectric pneumatic valve for color sorter is designed and fabricated. The new type high speed piezo valve with the both side supporting mechanism for high operating frequency and high reliability is discussed for separating the foreign body from the grains. Finally, the performance characteristics of a fabricated valve are analyzed and the frequency characteristics are also discussed for substituting the conventional type solenoid actuator.

PR형 공압 머니퓰레이터의 위치서보제어 (Position servo control of a PR type pneumatic manipulator)

  • This paper concerns a 2-axis PR type pneumatic manipulator system translating in vertical and rotating in horizontal directions. A simplified linear model is mathematically formulated similar to the pneumatic acturators in dynamic responses in order to devise an appropriate position control scheme. A PD controller preceding the on/off solenoid valve turns out not only economical but also effective in reducing rise time and amplitude of limit cycles, if its control gains are determined on the basis of frequency response. And, additional implementation of symmetric or asymmetric deadband at the PD controller output greatly helps minimize valve opening numbers, positional error, and undesirable direction-dependent property due to the gravitational load. Such a control concept is synthesized through numerical simulations and next applied to the experimental set-up, featuring enhanced positional servo characteristics.

자율주행 내시경을 위한 공압 구동장치의 이동특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Movement of Pneumatic Actuating Mechanism for Self-Propelling Endoscope)

  • In this paper, we propose a new locomotive mechanism using impulsive force for microcapsule-type endoscope. It has the compact size for movement in the colon and actuating mechanisms for hi-directional movement. The actuating mechanism resembles a pneumatic cylinder and consists of body, inertia mass(piston). spring. pneumatic source and calve. When valve is ON, the pneumatic impulsive force between piston and body drives them in two opposite direction. As the air in the body is passed away, the contrary movements are occurred by spring reaction. Therefore, the direction of body's motion is determined by the relative magnitude of two opposite impulsive forces, i.e., pneumatic and spring force. The effect of two impulsive forces can simply be controlled by On-Off time of solenoid valve.
