  • In recent years, road cutting work has been frequently performed for the repair of old road pavement and the development of underground space. However, the existing pavement cutting machine in Korea generates a lot of noise and dust. In this study, it was found out that the pavement cutting machine that cuts off noise and sucks cutting dust is used in overseas. Therefore, in this study, the concept of eco - friendly pavement cutter suitable for domestic situation is derived. The results will be used in prototype modeling and experimentation.

  • Recently, supplementary cementitious materials such as blast-furnace slag, fly ash and silica fume have been widely used as substitutes for cementitious materials. In this study, the deformation behavior of compressive loading of C3S paste with 50% fly ash was analyzed by X-ray scattering data and pair distribution function analysis. The obtained results were compared with 131-day-old pure C3S paste. The Ca(OH)2 of the C3S-FA paste showed almost complete elastic behavior, consistent with the deformation behavior of the r-range of 20 to 40, and the C-S-H phase contributed to the range of PDF r-range of less than 20. In addition, C-S-H of C3S-FA showed greater deformation resistance than C3S paste.

  • The EVMS(Earned Value Management System) comes from C/SCSC which was first released by the United States Department of Defense in December 1967, and preyed very powerful and efficient project management tool from a lot of practices. Although it is an excellent tool, we can not be succeed appling foreign system due to the differences of construction culture and law between the Korean and US construction industries. EAC(Estimate at Completion) is one of the most important functions in the EVMS. The purpose of this study is to propose the improved EAC method according to the performance indices better than old that and to prove from examples. In advance, the improved EAC method is to estimate more exactly costs and to promote efficiency in construction projects.

  • Recently, maintenance of old facilities has emerged as a major issue. In particular, the demand for road cutting and excavation is increasing due to the aging of underground facilities such as water supply, sewage and city gas. In addition, the development of eco-friendly equipment is required due to the environmental problems of noise and dust. Therefore, this study intends to analyze the performance in terms of productivity of the eco-friendly road cutter developed as part of the development of eco-friendly equipment, and to derive improvements.

  • The station area development planed to improve the old and narrowed station and to enhance the train passenger's convenience through private capital attraction in the past. But it has been faced with difficulty for the creative of transfer demand. Because of lean upon building facilities were caused by shortage of business profitability as to development of the upside a railway line, and lack of public utilities. The station area development requires that it's trend to large scale development of station areas, korail's direct development, deputation of specialty company to development, collaboration between local government and korail in development, diversification of process & installed facility, building multi-transfer center and one-stop transfer system. This trend caused by low profitability in development of the upside a railway line. The purposes of study are to make the system and law reflected to the property of station area development, investment in kind of needed land, and change railroad areas to high-rise and complex development, and make a forum between government and korail, etc.

  • The following conclusions were reached through the research on the development of the required performance extraction tools for the application and utilization of various construction methods of lightweght dry wall. 1) Performance required for walls of apartment buildings can be divided into safety, habitation, durability and productivity. Among these, horizontal load resistance, shock resistance, anti-seismic performance, insulation, and acoustic characteristics are the main performance that correspond to dry walls. In addition, safety related to toxic gases and contaminants are required according to recent eco-friendly requirements. 2) To select a wall according to the required performance of an inner wall applied to an apartment, a map tool in the form of 2D matrices was constructed to enable the required performance to be applied, indicating that the wall location and wall material and its differentiating according to the old method.

  • As Korea has been an aging society since the 21st century, more welfare facilities are needed in various fields to promote the quality of life for the old. Accordingly, this study is going to work on what other thing will be needed in community for the aging, focused on a senior welfare center. As a result, architectural planning factors of a senior welfare center, designed with the consideration of the special quality of the region, will be presented. and applied as a grounding source for the purpose of this study, $\ulcorner$Building the Community in which the old live with satisfaction and worth of life$\lrcorner$.

  • After the change of curriculum in the Year 2000, Partial extensions and renovations were carried out for functional correspondence. Despite of the importance of contextual consideration for facade, Leaning to curriculum and function leads to visual problems between old existing and new building in many case of educational facilities. therefore Design Guidelines for the Facade of extension and renovation are needed. In this study, First, made a survey of the level of satisfaction and harmony of facade of extensions and renovations on elementary schools which have extended and renovated since the Year 2000. secondary, analyzed the interrelationship between the level of satisfaction and harmony and design elements of facade of extension and renovation and lastly, derived design guidelines from them. Results of this study are as follows; 1) The more latest building, the more high in the level of satisfaction and harmony 2) The sequences of the level of satisfaction in finishing materials are as follows : stone>brick>paint 3) When the proportion of existing to new building over a half, higher level of satisfaction appears on the whole. 4) How overcomes the gap of time is the matter in the facade design of extension and renovation.

  • Wood is one of the main materials of wooden building. Hanok also uses wood as its main component. Recently, Hanok continues to be built. Wood is affected by the climatic environment. The growth of decay bacteria is activated at more than 80% relative humidity. The microclimate environment and moisture content were measured for architectural cultural properties that have been maintained for a long time as a wooden building. The method analyzed the measured data by distinguishing between cloudy and sunny days. In the case of the old house, Anchae moisture content was higher than that of Sarangchae. This seems to be due to the narrow front yard or the planting of trees. The microclimate environment inside the house began to decrease in humidity from 8 am. According to the survey data, the relative humidity was less than 80% from 9 am when there was wind around 4-6 am. It appeared an hour earlier than in the absence of wind. As a result, the time interval for dehumidifying of wood was widened. Therefore, the wooden building is open to the front so there is airflow under the eaves during the daytime and wind in the morning appear to be alternatives in order to lower the moisture content.
