본 논문에서는 컬러 정보를 이용한 계층적 스테레오 정합 기법을 제안한다. 특징기반의 스테레오 정합 방법을 이용하여 초기 변이지도를 생성하고, 계층적 스테레오 정합 기법으로 최종 변이지도를 획득한다. 영상을 R, G, B, white 4개의 색상 성분으로 분할하여 영상의 경계(edge)를 추출하고, 추출된 경계에서 정합 창을 이용하여 변이(disparity)를 추정한다. 추정된 변이는 각 색상 성분에서 자기상관도(autocorrelation)에 따라 주변 영역으로 확산되어 초기 변이지도(disparity map)를 생성한다. 초기 변이지도는 최종 변이지도를 생성하기 위한 변이 탐색의 초기값으로 사용되고, 각 색상 성분에서 정합 창과 탐색 범위(search range)의 변화를 이용하여 최종 변이 지도를 생성시킨다. 본 논문에서는 Middlebury stereo vision의 4개의 실험 영상을 가지고 객관적 성능 평가를 하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 기법이 기존의 Graph-cuts와 Dynamic Programming 기법보다 우수한 성능을 보였다. 최종 변이지도의 부정확한 변이는 전체 영상에서 평균11% 존재했고, 변이지도에서 불연속점의 경계가 뚜렷한 것을 확인하였다.

In this paper, we study the relation between two dynamical systems (V, f) and (V, g) with $f{\circ}g=g{\circ}f$. As an application, we show that an endomorphism (respectively a polynomial map with Zariski dense, of bounded Preper(f)) has only finitely many endomorphisms (respectively polynomial maps) of bounded degree which are commutable with f.

In this paper, we get a complete condition for a group homomorphism of a compact Lie group with an arbitrarily given left invariant Riemannian metric into another Lie group with a left invariant metric to be a harmonic map, and then obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a group homomorphism of (SU(2), g) with a left invariant metric g into the Heisenberg group (H, $h_0$) to be a harmonic map.

In this article, we study the Gauss map of generalized slant cylindrical surfaces (GSCS's) in the 3-dimensional Euclidean space $\mathbb{E}^3$. Surfaces of revolution, cylindrical surfaces and tubes along a plane curve are special cases of GSCS's. Our main results state that the only GSCS's with Gauss map G satisfying ${\Delta}G=AG$ for some $3{\times}3$ matrix A are the planes, the spheres and the circular cylinders.

In this paper, we give the necessary and sufficient condition for the conformal mapping ϕ : (ℝⁿ, g₀) → (Nⁿ, h) (n ≥ 3) to be triharmonic where we prove that the gradient of its dilation is a solution of a fourth-order elliptic partial differential equation. We construct some examples of triharmonic maps which are not biharmonic and we calculate the trace of the stress-energy tensor associated with the triharmonic maps.

In this paper, we consider the strategy of Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) internetworking that provide the seamless vertical handover for mobile nodes. We propose Mobility Anchor Points (MAP) based UMTS/WLAN internetworking architecture to support the vertical handover. Also, on integrated UMTS/WLAN networks, we propose a vertical handover scheme that avoids the call blocking caused by the network resource shortage. We provide the numerical analysis to investigate the performance evaluation to the proposed scheme and compare the proposed scheme with the existing scheme.

We consider ΜΑΡ/G/ 1 finite capacity queue with mul-tiple thresholds on buffer. The arrival of customers follows a Markov-ian arrival process(MAP). The service time of a customer depends on the queue length at service initiation of the customer. By using the embeded Markov chain method and the supplementary variable method, we obtain the queue length distribution ar departure epochs and at arbitrary epochs. This gives the loss probability and the mean waiting time by Little's law. We also give a simple numerical examples to apply the overload control in packetized networks.

Generally, G.P.S(Global Positioning System) is using for the car navigation system but it has some restrictions such as the discontinuity of earth satellites and SA (Selective Availability). Recently, the hybrid navigation system combining with G.P.S and Dead-reckoning are much attractuve for improving the accuracy of a vehicle positioning. G.P.S called satellite navigation system, can measure its position by using satellites. Dead-Reckoning is the self-contained navigatioin system using a wheel sensor for the vehicle velocity and a gyro sensor for the vehicle angular velocity. Some algorithm could be generated for finding the vehicle position and orientation. In this paper, we developed a hybrid algotithm wiht G.P.S DR and Map-Matching.
