The passive microwave remote sensing has progressed considerably in recent years Important earth surface parameters are detected and monitored by airborne and space born radiometers. However the spatial resolution of real aperture measurements is constrained by the antenna aperture size available on orbiting platforms and on the ground. The inverse problem technique is researched in order to improve the spatial resolution of microwave scanning radiometer. We solve a two-dimensional (surface) temperature-imaging problem with a major intention to develop high-resolution methods. In this paper, the scenario for estimation of both radiometer point spread function (PSF) and target configuration is explained. The PSF of the radiometer is assumed to be unknown and estimated from the observations. The configuration and brightness temperature of targets are also estimated. To do this, we deal with the parametric modeling of observation scenario. The performance of developed algorithms is illustrated on two-dimensional experimental data obtained by the water vapor radiometer.
Space telescope optics is one of the major parts of any space mission used to observe astronomical targets or the Earth. This kind of space mission typically involves bulky and complex opto-mechanics with a long optical tube, but attempts have been made to observe a target with a small satellite. In this paper, we describe the optical design of a reflecting telescope for use in a CubeSat mission. For this design we adopt the off-axis segmented method for astronomical observation techniques based on a Ritchey-Chr$\acute{e}$tien type telescope. The primary mirror shape is a rectangle with dimensions of $8cm{\times}8cm$, and the secondary mirror has dimensions of $2.4cm{\times}4.1cm$. The focal ratio is 3 which can yield a 0.383 degree diagonal angle in a $1280{\times}800$ CMOS color image sensor with a pixel size of $3{\mu}m{\times}3{\mu}m$. This optical design can capture a ${\sim}4km{\times}{\sim}2.3km$ area of the earth's surface at 700 km altitude operation.

In this study, the operation method and accuracy of Terrestrial Laser Scanner(TLS) are reviewed and discussed by experimental measurements, and guidelines of TLS surveying operation are proposed. Ground control points and TLS station points were measured by TS and/or GPS, in TLS observation experiments, and wood targets were used which designed by this study team. RMSE accuracy of TLS scan shows that TLS surveying operation can be used in the topographic mapping of 1/250 scale and level of 1/100 BIM, the drone data also used in TLS data completeness. Additionally, as the results of the field experiment, the guidelines for TLS surveying operartions were proposed.

The observation of transient objects such as supernovae or variable stars requires a survey of the wide sky and quickly extracting the results. In accordance with this purpose, we have been developing an automatic observing software, KAOS (Kyung Hee University Automatic Observing Software) as a series. KAOS30 was the first series of KAOS and it was applied to the 30-inch platform at the McDonald Observatory in the United States of America. KAOS76 controls the 76-cm telescope at Kyung Hee Astronomical Observatory. In this poster, we introduce KAOS10 for controlling a portable telescope with a small aperture size attaching a guiding camera as QHY-5L II. Kyung Hee University auto-guiding package which includes the auto-guiding function for small aperture size telescope was also developed. Additionally, the Telescope Control Package(TCP) can communicate with the main server to do astrometry for pointing and identifying targets efficiently. KAOS10 has a universal interface that will be useful for the research of both amateurs and professionals.

With the development of IoT and artificial intelligence, location-based services are getting more and more attention. For solving the current problem that indoor positioning error is large and generalization is poor, this paper proposes a Model Stacking Algorithm for Indoor Positioning System using WiFi fingerprinting. Firstly, we adopt a model stacking method based on Bayesian optimization to predict the location of indoor targets to improve indoor localization accuracy and model generalization. Secondly, Taking the predicted position based on model stacking as the observation value of particle filter, collaborative particle filter localization based on model stacking algorithm is realized. The experimental results show that the algorithm can control the position error within 2m, which is superior to KNN, GBDT, Xgboost, LightGBM, RF. The location accuracy of the fusion particle filter algorithm is improved by 31%, and the predicted trajectory is close to the real trajectory. The algorithm can also adapt to the application scenarios with fewer wireless access points.

Galaxy groups are the place where many galaxies feel the impact of the surroundings (e.g., merging, tidal interaction, ram pressure stripping) before joining bigger structures like (sub)clusters. A significant fraction of galaxies is quenched in the group environment. Such "pre-processing" of galaxies in groups is likely to affect galaxy evolution tremendously. To better understand how environmental processes in galaxy groups affect molecular gas, star formation activity, and galaxy evolution, we carried out CO imaging observations of group galaxies, using the Atacama Compact Array (ALMA/ACA). We selected all the targets that have been detected in the GEMS-HI survey for two groups, making the sample of 40 galaxies (18 galaxies in IC 1459 group and 22 galaxies in NGC 4636 group). Our ALMA/ACA observation is the first CO imaging survey for two groups. In this work, we present CO images of group galaxies, together with their star formation maps and HI images. Our ACA CO data show the asymmetric distribution of molecular gas in some of our samples. We discuss the impact of the group environment on molecular gas and star formation activity.

Intensive Monitoring Survey of Nearby Galaxies (IMSNG) is a program monitoring nearby galaxies with a high cadence within a day. The main goal of the project is to constrain the SNe explosion mechanism and properties of their progenitors by catching the early lights from the shock-heated cooling emission. The observation campaign began in 2014 with two 1-m class telescopes in the northern hemisphere. Now more than ten telescopes are monitoring galaxies with 60 IMSNG targets, which have a high probability of supernova explosion every night all around the world. Since the project started, the following observations have been carried out on 14 SNe Ia(including -pec), 27 core-collapse supernovae (CCSNe), and around 40 transients in other types. In this poster, we present the current status of IMSNG SNe data first and then focus more on the CCSNe. CCSNe are the explosion of massive stars, more massive than eight times of the Sun. They have been studied for more than a half decades but still have key questions to be solved, such as distinct types, the characteristics driving their diversity, and so on. Here, we show our ongoing studies of CCSNe in IMSNG, focusing on their usefulness as distance indicators and properties of early light curves.
The increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations is known to be closely associated with climate change and global warming. In this sense, considering that facilities for appropriate education and experience on wood, which is a carbon pool, have been required, this study targets the Wood Cultural Experience Centers, which are in current operation, examines and evaluates their operation status and policy changes, and ultimately derives a successful positioning plan. To this end, it conducts a survey, and the results are as follows. First, as a result of the similarity analysis (KYST: Kruskal-Young-Shepard-Torgerson program) with facilities with leisure activities and educational functions, the Wood Cultural Experience Center have competition with natural recreation forests in terms of naturalness, and it has competition with the career experience center and youth training center in terms of experiential observation. Second, the result of positioning analysis of the attribute space map indicates that the Wood Cultural Experience Center is positively perceived in terms of such attributes as naturalness, experiential learning or recreation, and preservation of natural environment, but is negatively recognized in terms of accessibility, escape from daily life, and things to see.
Multiscattering occurs when a laser transmits into dense atmosphere targets (e.g. fogs, smoke or clouds), which can cause depolarization effects even though the scattering particles are spherical. In addition, multiscattering effects have additional information about microphysical properties of scatterers. Thus, multiscattering can be utilized to study the microphysical properties of the liquid water cloud. In this paper, a Monte Carlo method was used to simulate multi-scattering transmission properties of Lidar signals in the cloud. The results showed the slope of the degree of linear polarization (SLDLP) can be used to invert the extinction coefficient, and then the cloud effective size (CES) and the liquid water content (LWC) may be easily obtained by using the extinction coefficient and saturation of the degree of linear polarization (SADLP). Based on calculation results, a microphysical properties inversion method for a liquid cloud was presented. An innovative multiscattering polarization Lidar (MSPL) system was constructed to measure the LWC and CES of the liquid cloud, and a new method based on the polarization splitting ratio of the Polarization Beam Splitter (PBS) was developed to calibrate the polarization channels of MSPL. By analyzing the typical observation data of MSPL observation in the northern suburbs of Nanjing, China, the LWC and CES of the liquid water cloud were obtained. Comparisons between the results from the MSPL, MODIS and the Microwave radar data showed that, the microphysical properties of liquid cloud could be retrieved by combining our MSPL and the inversion method.

The present work was performed to find behavioral characteristics of elementary school students corresponding to the motivation system on science learning (SL-BIS/BAS; Behavioral Inhibition/Activation System about Science Learning) in the observation situation. Eye-tracking was used for this study, which is one of the neurophysiological methods. The findings of present study were as follows: First, students who have sensitive motivation system to SL-BIS (SL-BIS group) showed meaningfully shorter fixation duration the whole time during an observation task than students who have sensitive motivation system to SL-BAS (SL-BAS group) (p<.05). Total fixation counts of SL-BIS group were significantly larger than SL-BAS group and it indicates that SL-BIS group often generated new fixations. Therefore, fixation duration per count of SL-BAS group was longer than that of SLBIS group. Second, we studied fixations in situations with movement corresponding to the motivation system on science learning. SL-BIS group and SL-BAS group exhibited similar fixation duration in the study task segment with movement, which is one of the stimulus attracting students. However, for the study task segment when the movement was finished, total fixation duration and fixation duration per count of SL-BAS group were meaningfully longer than those of SL-BIS group. Third, comparing fixation targets classified by factors of study task, SL-BIS group showed fixation on the target that is not important for the study task. But SL-BAS group concentrated on the target-related factor of the study task. The present work could be helpful in understanding students' characteristics corresponding to the motivation system on science learning in observation situation and for making a learning & teaching plan that is suitable to the feature of students.
