  • We will deal with an n locus model in which mutation and gene conversion are taken into consideration. Also random partitions of the number n determined by chromosomes with n loci should be investigated. The diffusion process describes the time evolution of distributions of the random partitions. In this paper, we find the probability of distribution of the diffusion process with special diffusion operator $L_1$ and we show that the average probability of genes at different loci on one chromosome can be described by the rate of gene frequency of mutation and gene conversion.

  • As digital and computer technologies have grown, human-machine interfaces (HMIs) have evolved. In safety-critical systems, especially in nuclear power plants (NPPs), HMIs are important for reducing operational costs, the number of necessary operators, and the probability of accident occurrence. Efforts have been made to improve main control room (MCR) interface design and to develop automated or decision support systems to ensure convenient operation and maintenance. In this paper, an integrated decision support system to aid operator cognitive processes is proposed for advanced MCRs of future NPPs. This work suggests the design concept of a decision support system which accounts for an operator's cognitive processes. The proposed system supports not only a particular task, but also the entire operation process based on a human cognitive process model. In this paper, the operator's operation processes are analyzed according to a human cognitive process model and appropriate support systems that support each cognitive process activity are suggested.

  • A remarkably large number of inequalities involving the fractional integral operators have been investigated in the literature by many authors. Very recently, Baleanu et al. [2] gave certain interesting fractional integral inequalities involving the Gauss hypergeometric functions. Using the same fractional integral operator, in this paper, we present some (presumably) new fractional integral inequalities whose special cases are shown to yield corresponding inequalities associated with Saigo, Erd$\acute{e}$lyi-Kober and Riemann-Liouville type fractional integral operators. Relevant connections of the results presented here with those earlier ones are also pointed out.

  • Work environments have been changed with the advent of new technologies, such as computer technology. However, human cognitive limits can't pace up with the change of work environment. Designing human-computer system requires knowledge and evaluation of the human cognitive processes which control information flow workload. Futhermore, under limited reaction time and/or urgent situation, human operator may the work stress, work error and resultant deleterious work environment. This paper evaluate the visual factors of major information processing factors(information density, amount of information, operational speed of speed)on operator performance of supervisory control under urgent(limited reaction time)environments which require deleterious work condition. To describe the work performance int the urgent work situations with time stress and dynamic event occurrence, a new concept of information density was introduced. For a series of experiments performed for this study, three independent variables(information amount, system proceeding speed, information density) were evaluated using five dependent variables. The result of statistical analyses indicate that the amount of information affected on all of five dependent measure. Number of failure and number of secondary task score were influenced by both amount of information and operational speed of system. However reaction time of secondary task were affected by both amount of information and information density. As a result, the deleterious factors for the performances seemed to be a scanning time to supervise each control panel. Consequently, a new display panel was suggest to reduce operator work load for scanning task showing better operator performance.

  • Large scale display panel(LSDP) is a main component in the next generation main control rooms. LSDP is located at the front of VDU-based operator's workstation and plays an important role in providing operators with overall information of plant status through mimic diagram, text/digit, graph, and so on. A critical matter determined at the first stage of LSDP design is how much information is displayed, because the information density of LSDP affects operator's performance. Many human factors guidelines recommend low information density of displays to avoid degrade of operator's performance, but doesn't provide a useful limit of information density. In this paper, we considered information density as the number of plant parameters and investigated the proper number of plant parameters through a human factors experiment. The experiment with 4 subjects was carried out and response time, error, and heart rate variation as criterion measures were recorded and analyzed. As the results, it is identified that the proper number of parameters in a LSDP is about thirty.

  • Many kind of operators using Residue Number System are used to design the special purpose processor for many merits in Digital Signal Processing, Computer Graphics, etc. But It get demerits for general division and the magnitude comparison. In this paper, general division operator for divisor with a small number in RNS is proposed. If the result of division using the multiplicative inverse has remainder, the quotient of this is larger than maximum quotient of division that has the same divisor to dividend of the maximum size. This condition is used for the ending condition of the recursive operation. And, the divisor is substitute for the compared value of quotients. So, the proposed division operator has a small size and fine operation speed, but with the limitation of divisor.

  • Number portability facilitates that a customer can keep their phone number when changing from one network operator to another. There are three types of NP, that is the operator portability, the service portability and the location portability. Political regulation is required, because number portability induces the transfer of benefits from suppliers to customers and activate the competition among firms. In this paper, we will examin the domestic trends of number portability and analysis the effort of number portability on the competition among firms.

  • An operator $T\;{\varepsilon}\;B(\mathcal{H})$ is said to be $k$-quasi-paranormal operator if $||T^{k+1}x||^2\;{\leq}\;||T^{k+2}x||\;||T^kx||$ for every $x\;{\epsilon}\;\mathcal{H}$, $k$ is a natural number. This class of operators contains the class of paranormal operators and the class of quasi - class A operators. In this paper, using the operator matrix representation of $k$-quasi-paranormal operators which is related to the paranormal operators, we show that every algebraically $k$-quasi-paranormal operator has Bishop's property ($\beta$), which is an extension of the result proved for paranormal operators in [32]. Also we prove that (i) generalized Weyl's theorem holds for $f(T)$ for every $f\;{\epsilon}\;H({\sigma}(T))$; (ii) generalized a - Browder's theorem holds for $f(S)$ for every $S\;{\prec}\;T$ and $f\;{\epsilon}\;H({\sigma}(S))$; (iii) the spectral mapping theorem holds for the B - Weyl spectrum of T.
