The spray characteristics of emulsified fuel of W/O type has been experimentally investigated. The mixture of light oil and water by using ultrasonic energy adding system is used as the emulsified fuel. The SMD of sprayed droplet of emulsified fuel is measured by using the particle size analyzer. Major parameters of the present experimental study are the volume fraction of water in emulsified fuel, $0\sim30%$ by 5%, injection pressure, $10kg_f/cm^2\sim18kg_f/cm^2$ by $2kg_f/cm^2$, and the measurement distance, $10\sim100mm$, between injection nozzle tip and analyzer beam. Compared with light oil, the SMD of emulsified fuel is larger gradually by increasing the volume fraction of water in emulsified fuel, heightening injection pressure and increasing the spray distance. Also, In considering the fact that the pattern of drop size distribution of emulsified fuel is alike that of light oil, the real time spray in coincidence with making emulsified fuel by adding ultrasonic energy can stabilize spray pattern without modificating the injection system used by now.
To apply to novel two-interconnected fluidized beds system for selective solid circulation, a solid separator and a solid circulation system were developed. The solid separation rate increased as the gas velocity through the solid injection nozzle, solid height, and diameter of solid injection nozzle increased. However, the effect of the fluidization velocity was negligible. Coarse($212{\sim}300{\mu}m$) and fine($63{\sim}106{\mu}m$) particles were separated using the solid separator and the solid separation rate was ranged from 66 to 453 g/min. The solid circulation rate increased as the gas velocity through the solid injection nozzle, solid height, and the number of solid intake holes increased. However, the effect of the fluidization velocity was negligible. Fine particle was circulated using the solid circulation system and the solid circulation rate was ranged from 65 to 390 g/min. We also proposed two interconnenced fluidized beds system for selective solid circulation equipped with the developed solid separator and the solid circulation system. Long-term operation of continuous solid circulation up to 20 hours has been performed to check feasibility of stable operation. The pressure drop profiles in two beds and the solid separation rate were maintained steadily, and therefore, we could conclude that solid circulation was smooth and stable.

The liquid phase LPG injection (LPLi) system (the 3rd generation technology) has been considered as one of the most promising fuel supply systems for LPG vehicles. To investigate the reaction characteristics of LPG with rubber parts in LPLi system, various rubbers were tested. The results showed that the amount of residue from the cover rubber of a fuel pump was increased about 10 times after testing. Furthermore, the amount of sulfur and nitrogen species which are considered as main sources of deposit formation in LPLi fuel injectors were also found to be higher than those in original LPG fuel. In addition, these residues made the core parts of LPLi injector such as needle and nozzle, partially worn, which eventually causes leakage in LPLi injectors.
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) is widely used as a method of removing nitrogen oxide in large-capacity thermal power generation systems. Uniform mixing of the injected ammonia and the inlet flue gas is very important to the performance of the denitrification reduction process in the catalyst bed. In the present study, a computational analysis technique was applied to the ammonia injection system design process of a denitrification facility. The applied model is the denitrification facility of an 800 MW class coal-fired power plant currently in operation. The flow field to be solved ranges from the inlet of the ammonia injection system to the end of the catalyst bed. The flow was analyzed in the two-dimensional domain assuming incompressible. The steady-state turbulent flow was solved with the commercial software named ANSYS-Fluent. The nozzle arrangement gap and injection flow rate in the ammonia injection system were chosen as the design parameters. A total of four (4) cases were simulated and compared. The root mean square of the NH3/NO molar ratio at the inlet of the catalyst layer was chosen as the optimization parameter and the design of the experiment was used as the base of the optimization algorithm. The case where the nozzle pitch and flow rate were adjusted at the same time was the best in terms of flow uniformity.
Even though a relatively complete knowledge base has been established for diesel sprays, much of the knowledge cannot be directly translated to correlate the characteristics of gasoline spray. The macroscopic characteristics of gasoline impingement spray was investigated with photographic and image processing technique by Particle Motion Analysis System. The injector with single hole nozzle diameter of 0.28 mm was used in this experiment and the injection duration was selected as 10 msec. The injection pressure with 0.3, 0.35, and 0.4 MPa, impingement distance or 70, 100 and 130m, impingement angle or 0.15, 30 and $45^{\circ}$ were employed for the variables to affect the spray characteristics of impinging spray. It is clear that there is the analogy on the spray tip penetration between the gasoline impinging jet and diesel free jet. The spray tip penetration of impinging gasoline spray is proportional to the quarter power of the time after start of injection. The maximum height of impinging gasoline spray is also proportional to the quarter power of the time regardless of impingement distance, impingement angle and injection pressure. In addition, the effect of impingement angle on the spray tip penetration is significant according to the time after start of injection, even though there is minor effect in the initial stage of time after start of injection. Moreover, there is no remarkable effect of injection pressure on the spray tip Penetration under the experimental condition used in this study.
In general, Liquid Injection Thrust Vector Control(LITVC) is accomplished by injecting a liquid into the supersonic exhaust flow through holes in the wall of the propulsion nozzle. This injection flow field is highly complicated and detailed flow physics associated with the secondary flow injection should be known far the practical design and use of the LITVC system. The present study aims at understanding the LTTVC flow field and obtaining fundamental design parameters for LITVC. The experimentations were performed in a supersonic blow-down wind tunnel. Compressed, dry air was used for both the main exhaust and injection flows but the pressures of these two flows were controlled independently. The location of the injection holes was changed and the pressures of the two streams were also changed between 2.0 and 15.0 bar. The effectiveness of LITVC was discussed in details using the results of the pressure measurements and flow visualizations

This article reports the experimental and numerical results for free sprays under ultra-high injection pressure conditions to give us better understandings of spray characteristics and also to make clear a limit pressure condition in diesel sprays. The high pressure injection system developed in this work is devised to reach ultra-high pressure conditions in the range from 150 MPa to 355 MPa. The free spray injected from a single nozzle injector is visualized by the Schlieren technique and the high speed camera. In particular, it is found that the shock waves are present and propagated along the edge of spray in the downstream direction. The measured spray penetration length increases gradually with the injection pressure, but its increasing rate is decreased as the injection pressure increases. The Sauter mean diameter is also no longer augmented for the injection pressures higher than 300 MPa. In addition, the threedimensional numerical simulations are conducted for comparing the measurements with the predictions based on two different breakup models. The TAB model results show better agreements with experimental data than the WAVE model under ultra-high injection pressure conductions. Moreover, the simulation results show that the gas-phase pressure increases substantially in the vicinity of the spray tip region. It supports the experimental observation that the shock waves are formed at the front of spray tip and are propagated downstream.

As SLA(Sterealithography), SLS(Selective Laser Sintering), LOM(Laminated Object Manufacturing), FDM(Fused Deposition Modeling) etc. The FDM system the heart of a study and is developed by Stratasys co. ltd, in US., is small and cheap R.P. The material filament is heated until the material reaches a near-liquid state, it is pumped through a nozzle and become hand with a shape required, and this nozzle move pumping on the previously deposited material. Such FDM system that choice deposition type with X-Y plouter obtain in the thin continue layer by decreasing amount of extrusion or to central the injection amount when the head slow down at the corner, but in the process that fusion wax or resin become hand, deformation occur and it will affect the shape accuracy and the surface roughness. Such effect will depreciate quality and reliability of the product. Therefore, when the product made in actuality, the fundamental study on the basis geometry(surface, volume, line, angle) must be preceded and it have been research by many Free Form Fabrication. So, this basic object study purpose to obtain the fundamental geometry data and to enhance the surface roughness of the shape. And an operant can use the data for the progress of the surface roughness. This study research the estimation and application of the prototype surface roughness by adjustment the injection amount. And basie of this research, describe the pattern of prototype surface roughness and also used the result to estimate the surface of prototype.

Aerodynamic forces and moments have been used to control rocket propelled vehicles. If control is required at very low speed, Those systems only provide a limited capability because aerodynamic control force is proportional to the air density and low dynamic pressure. But thrust vector control(TVC) can overcome the disadvantages. TVC is the method which generates the side force and roll moment by controlling exhausted gas directly in a rocket nozzle. TVC is classified by mechanical and fluid dynamic methods. Mechanical methods can change the flow direction by several objects installed in a rocket nozzle exhaust such as tapered ramp tabs and jet vane. Fluid dynamic methods control the flight direction with the injection of secondary gaseous flows into the rocket nozzle. The tapered ramp tabs of mechanical methods are used in this paper. They installed at the rear in the rocket nozzle could be freely moved along axial and radial direction on the mounting ring to provide the mass flow rate which is injected from the rocket nozzle. In this paper, the conceptual design and the performance study on the tapered ramp tabs of the thurst vector control has been carried out using the supersonic cold flow system and shadow graph. Numerical simulation was also performed to study flow characteristics and interactions between ramp tabs. This paper provides to analyze the location of normal shock wave and distribution of surface pressure on the region enclosed by the tapered ramp tabs.
