Deep learning is one of the most widely accepted methods for the forecasting of time series data which have the complexity and non-linear behavior. In this paper, we investigate the modification of a state-of-art WaveNet deep learning architecture and walk forward validation (WFV) in order to forecast electric power consumption data 24-hour-ahead. WaveNet originally designed for raw audio uses 1D dilated causal convolution for long-term information. First of all, we propose a modified version of WaveNet which activates real numbers instead of coded integers. Second, this paper provides with the training process with tuning of major hyper-parameters (i.e., input length, batch size, number of WaveNet blocks, dilation rates, and learning rate scheduler). Finally, performance evaluation results show that the prediction methodology based on WFV performs better than on the traditional holdout validation.
At the spots of enterprises experiencing rapid environmental changes, necessity for ceaseless managemental innovation is raised. We can't deny that management quality is also a part of such managemental innovation. Introduction of management quality by an organization is different from introduction of other individual innovative techniques. Management quality is not one time project but complete historical change program to be pursued continuously. Furthermore, it must be understood as a strategic 'Quality Journey' looking for far future of an organization. Malcolm Baldrige Model has been increasingly used in Korea as a global standard for management quality. The model, however, has shown a number of limitations in application due to nonsystematic elements in the implementation process. The deployment process of the model should be detailed through a real world case study. In this research, we proposed a quality evaluation standard model which is suitable for the Korean public enterprise based on the Malcolm Baldrige Non-profit Criteria, and examined the model. A 7-Point Likert Scale was used based on the seven categories within the 2007 Malcolm Baldrige Non-profit Criteria: Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer and Market Focus, Management Analysis and Knowledge Management, Workforce Focus, Process Management, and Results. Furthermore, we analysed the validity and causal relationship among the factors within the model. Through the above case study, following common factors for successful Malcolm Baldrige Model have been derived. The following is a summary of the results of this study. First, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs powerful support Leadership. Second, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Strategic Planning. Third, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs the continuous Customer and Market Focus. Fourth, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Measurement Analysis and Knowledge Management. Five, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Workforce Focus. Six, for Malcolm Baldrige Model management, needs systematic Process Management. The finding are surely necessary factors to arrange the human resource management for upgraded management quality, those factors help to explain why all enterprises consider human resource as the strategic view.

This paper proposes a real-time face detection and tracking system that uses neural oscillators which can be applied to access regulation system or control systems of user authentication as well as a new algorithm. We study a way to track faces using the neural oscillatory network which imitates the artificial neural net of information handing ability of human and animals, and biological movement characteristic of a singular neuron. The system that is suggested in this paper can broadly be broken into two stages of process. The first stage is the process of face extraction, which involves the acquisition of real-time RGB24bit color video delivering with the use of a cheap webcam. LEGION(Locally Excitatory Globally Inhibitory)algorithm is suggested as the face extraction method to be preceded for face tracking. The second stage is a method for face tracking by discovering the leader neuron that has the greatest connection strength amongst neighbor neuron of extracted face area. Along with the suggested method, the necessary element of face track such as stability as well as scale problem can be resolved.

In this paper, we proposed an automatic music/non-music signal discrimination system from broadcasting audio signal as a preliminary study of building a sound source monitoring system in real broadcasting environment. By reflecting human speech articulation characteristics, we used three simple time-domain features such as energy standard deviation, log energy standard deviation and log energy mean. Based on the experimental threshold values of each feature, we developed a rule-based algorithm to classify music portion of the input audio signal. For the verification of the proposed algorithm, actual FM broadcasting signal was recorded for 24 hours and used as source input audio signal. From the experimental results, the proposed system can effectively recognize music section with the accuracy of 96% and non-music section with that of 87%, where the performance is good enough to be used as a pre-process module for the a sound source monitoring system.

This study is the case of non-face-to-face teaching-learning in the subject of "Research and Guidance on Early Childhood Materials" in the pre-child teacher training program. The study conducted a non-face-to-face teaching-learning model for 18 students at B University in region C who took lectures on 'Research and Guidance on Early Childhood Materials' in the first semester of 2021. As a non-face-to-face teaching-learning model, it consisted of video lectures, real-time zoom classes, and various forms of 'communication' through frequent feedback and interaction and 'participation'. As a teaching-learning strategy for the participation of pre-service early childhood teachers, comment on questions related to early childhood materials, in-depth reflection on early childhood materials through writing reflective journals and observation reports, and step-by-step presentation of making childhood materials plans, processes, and results were carried out. As a result of exploring the experience of making early childhood materials for pre-service early childhood teachers, factors such as "growth experience through trial and error," "thinking from child's point of view", "Increase efficiency and reduce burden through communication", "Process rather than result" and "The importance of communication and interaction in non-face-to-face classes"
This study noted that a survey of teachers in a leading study conducted in Korea during the Pandemics period pointed out that the "real-time interactive" classes account for a significantly small portion of the remote class format. Contentually, the study reported cases of developing and applying "real-time interactive" class materials based on "planar decision requirements" of high school mathematics subject geometry. The teacher who participated in the development was a math teacher who worked at a Seoul-based high school with 28 years of high school teaching experience, and a teacher who was in charge of geometry in the math department in 2020. The development teacher decided to develop real-time interactive classes. In particular, the materials were developed by organizing the class guidance plan in four stages: 'Meeting and Class Guidance', 'Giving motivation', 'Suggesting tasks', 'Individual Investigative Activities and Teacher Feedback' and 'Reflection and Evaluation' which were selected through the process of selecting the class contents and selecting online class tools. At this time, the development teacher produced and presented about five minutes of video material using the videooscribe, a whiteboard animation program. And in case of task number 8, it consisted of recording the students' free thoughts after class, which served as a role of assessment by students themselves and providing feedback to their teachers. This study is a case study that introduces a series of courses in which field teachers develop class materials, and in addition to presenting class materials that can be applied directly to classes, is a result of a study that focuses on the role of presenting samples for future class data development. The materials developed were verified as class materials based on the opinions of the students who participated in the class and the results of the evaluation commissioned by the three math teachers.

Oil spills cause a lot of damage to the environment. Oil destroys the water environment and ecosystem in a very short period of time once they are contaminated by it, it takes a lot of time to recover from the contamination and the cleaning process is very difficult. Therefore, oil detectors are greatly needed as they can monitor any oil spills over the sea, rivers, and lakes. There are two kinds of technology available for detecting oil, viz. the contact and non-contact types. The former is based on the use of the conductivity, capacitance and microwaves, while the latter employs infrared, UV, laser, optic and radar technologies. As there are also various hurdles in the measuring of oil on water, such as the presence of waves, refraction of light, temperature and saltiness, it is imperative to select the right oil detector which is appropriate for the specific environment. In this study, a contact type oil detector is developed, which can be used in oil related industries, such as refineries, petrochemical companies, and power generation stations. The detector is made up of the sensor module, which floats on the water, and the controller which processes the signal coming from the sensor module and displays it. It is designed in such a way that the existence of oil is detected through the sensor and the change in the permittivity is observed to determine the volume and type of spilled oil.

As a potential approach for non-destructive testing of concrete structures, we evaluate the time-of-flight (TOF) ultrasound tomography technique In conventional X ray tomography, the reconstructed Image corresponds to the internal attenuation coefficient However, in TOF ultrasound tomography, the reconstructed Image is proportional to the retractive index of the medium Because refractive effects are minimal for X-rays, conventional reconstruction techniques are applied to reconstruct the Image in X-ray tomography However, since ultrasound travels in curved path, due to the spatial variations in the refractive index of the medium, the path must be known to correctly reconstruct the Image. Algorithm for determining the ultrasound path is developed from a Geometrical Optics point view and the image reconstruction algorithm, since the paths are curved It requires the algebraic approach, namely the ART or the SIRT Here, the difference between the computed and the measured TOP data is used as a basis, for the iteration process First the initial image is reconstructed assuming straight paths. It then updates the path based on the recently reconstructed image This process of reconstruction and path determination repeats until convergence The proposed algorithm is evaluated by computer simulations, and in addition is applied to a real concrete structure.

Plasma etch endpoint detection (EPD) of SiO2 and PR layer is demonstrated by plasma impedance monitoring in this work. Plasma etching process is the core process for making fine pattern devices in semiconductor fabrication, and the etching endpoint detection is one of the essential FDC (Fault Detection and Classification) for yield management and mass production. In general, Optical emission spectrocopy (OES) has been used to detect endpoint because OES can be a simple, non-invasive and real-time plasma monitoring tool. In OES, the trend of a few sensitive wavelengths is traced. However, in case of small-open area etch endpoint detection (ex. contact etch), it is at the boundary of the detection limit because of weak signal intensities of reaction reactants and products. Furthemore, the various materials covering the wafer such as photoresist (PR), dielectric materials, and metals make the analysis of OES signals complicated. In this study, full spectra of optical emission signals were collected and the data were analyzed by a data-mining approach, modified K-means cluster analysis. The K-means cluster analysis is modified suitably to analyze a thousand of wavelength variables from OES. This technique can improve the sensitivity of EPD for small area oxide layer etching processes: about 1.0 % oxide area. This technique is expected to be applied to various plasma monitoring applications including fault detections as well as EPD.

Optical Emission Spectroscopy(OES) is a very important technology for real-time monitoring of plasma in a reactor during dry etching process. OES technology is non-invasive to the plasma process. It can be used to collect information on excitation and recombination between electrons and ions in the plasma. It also helps easily diagnose plasma intensity and monitor end-point during plasma etch processing. We studied high density planar inductively coupled BCl$_3$ and BCl$_3$/Ar plasma with an OES as a function of processing pressure, RIE chuck power, ICP source power and gas composition. The scan range of wavelength used was from 400 nm to 1000 nm. It was found that OES peak Intensity was a strong function of ICP source power and processing pressure, while it was almost independent on RIE chuck power in BCl$_3$-based planar ICP processes. It was also worthwhile to note that increase of processing pressure reduced negatively self-induced dc bias. The case was reverse for RIE chuck power. ICP power and gas composition hardly had influence on do bias. We will report OES results of high density planar inductively coupled BCl$_3$ and BCl$_3$/Ar Plasma in detail in this presentation.
