노인장기요양보험 인정자의 미이용 관련요인 분석: 전남지역을 대상으로 (Factors Associated with the Non-Use of Beneficiaries of Long-Term Care Insurance Service: The Case of Jeollanam-do Province)

  • Background: This study aimed to explore factors associated with the non-use of beneficiaries of long-term care insurance services for the elderly in Jeollanam-do Province by analyzing a dataset obtained from National Health Insurance Service. Methods: The study sample consists of 1,663 individuals who were evaluated as eligible for long-term care insurance services in Jeollanam-do Province during the period of July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009. As a dependent variable, the non-use of the service was defined as one when a beneficiary had used it once or more times during one year after he or she was evaluated as eligible and as zero otherwise. A proportion analysis was conducted to describe characteristics of study sample. Chi-square tests were used to compare general characteristics between beneficiaries who had used the services and those who had not used them. Multiple logistic regressions were performed by three models including additional sets of explanatory variables such as socio-demographic characteristics, health conditions, and economic status. Results: Main results are summarized as follows. The proportion of beneficiaries who had not used the service was 14.5% of all beneficiaries. According to the results from the model using all explanatory variables, the factors associated with the non-use of the services were residence location, dwelling place, type of desired service, level of care needs, and instrumental activities of daily life limitations. Conclusion: In particular, regarding the type of desired service, the cash benefit showed a high likelihood of the non-use of the service; it had an odds ratio (OR) of 50.212 (95% confidence interval [CI], 24.00-105.04) compared with home service. In case of dwelling place, a hospital showed also a high likelihood of the non-use with an OR of 20.71 (95% CI, 10.12-42.44) compared with home.

  • In the case where the bottom of railroad is penetrated by non-excavation construction method, the design is performed based on the assumption that there is no displacement and no change of stress However, measurement data showed that reduction of earth pressure and relaxation of stress take place by the displacement. In this study, we investigated the earth pressure on the structure under the railroad constructed by a non-excavation method and the stress relaxation region. The design based on earth pressure is non-economical because it is an over design. Relaxation of stress may lead to road base settlement and rail irregularly due to the reduced railroad supporting stiffness, to ballast crack in the case of concrete roadbed. The result showed that it is reasonable to set the stress on the structures as active earth pressure not as earth pressure at rest. Additionally, the study on the stress relaxation region identified the regions that should be supported in future construction by a non-excavation method.

  • 플래시 메모리는 기존 저장 매체와는 달리 읽기 연산에 비해 쓰기 연산의 수행비용이 매우 크고, 저장된 데이타에 대한 직접 갱신이 불가능한 고유의 특성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 플래시 메모리 환경이 클러스터링 방법과 비클러스터링 방법에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 이를 통해 디스크 환경과는 달리 플래시 메모리 환경에서는 비 클러스터링 방법이 더 적합하다는 것을 보인다. 또한, 플래시 메모리 환경에서 비 클러스터링 방법이 가진 문제점을 지적하고, 이를 기반으로 플래시 메모리 환경에서 레코드 관리방법의 설계 시 고려해야 할 사항들을 제안한다.

A Profile of Non-Seekers of Health Information Among the United States Foreign-Born Population

  • This study attempted to uncover the characteristics of health information non-seekers among the United States foreign-born population and identify potential predictors of their non-seeking behavior. The trends of foreign-born health information nonseekers over the past twelve years were also examined. Statistical analysis was conducted with two sets of Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS) data: HINTS 2 (2005) and HINTS 5 Cycle 1 (2017) datasets. It was found that foreign-born nonseekers differ from foreign-born seekers in terms of a variety of variables including education, income, English proficiency, the uses of Internet and social media, ownership of digital devices, ownership of health insurance, perceived health status, and level of trust in health information sources. Among them, education, Internet use, and trust in online health information were identified as predictors of the foreign-born population's non-seeking of health information. In addition, three variables - race/ethnicity, age, and place of accessing the Internet - which were significant factors in the 2005 dataset, were no longer significant in the 2017 dataset, implying the possible influence of smartphones that reduces Internet accessibility gaps among different racial/ethnic and age groups.

불균일 농도가 가스 폭발에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Non-uniform Concentration on Gas Explosion)

  • 일반적으로 발생하는 사고중의 가스폭발사고는 일정한 상태로의 혼합과정보다는 불균일하게 이루어진 상태로 폭발이 발생하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 불균일 상태에서의 불균일 농도에 의한 폭발현상을 실제 실내의 축소형으로 폭발통을 제작, 모형화하여 여러현상을 재현함으로서 실제 사고시의 폭발현상을 예측할 수 있었다. 그 결과, 어떤 공간에서 가스가 누출될 경우 내부의 가스의 혼합정도는 누출구의 크기 및 누출속도에 따라 영향을 받으며, 불균일 정도가 클수록 폭발압력 및 압력상승속도는 낮아지고 폭발압력은 감소하지만 화염의 체류시간이 증가하여 폭발화염의 복사열에 의한 폭발 후에는 화재의 위험성이 증가함을 알 수 있었다.

성숙도 개념을 이용한 Whitetopping 포장의 현장 적용 (The Application of Maturity Method on Whitetopping Construction)

  • 성숙도는 비파괴시험으로 현장 콘크리트 강도를 시간과 온도의 함수로 추정하는 방법이다. 본 연구의 주목적은 실내실험에서 추정한 성숙도 곡선을 이용하여 whitetopping의 줄눈절삭과 교통개방의 시간을 결정하는 것이다. 또한 대기온도가 콘크리트 슬래브 온도와 성숙도에 미치는 영향을 평가하였고, 줄눈절삭과 교통개방시기를 결정하기 위해 성숙도 곡선을 개발하였다. i-button을 슬래브 내부에 설치하여 온도를 계측하였고, strain gauge를 이용하여 변위를 측정하였다. 실내실험에서 얻어진 성숙도 곡선을 이용하여 현장 압축강도를 예측한 결과, 현장 압축강도와 성숙도 곡선에서 예측된 압축강도와는 상당한 차이를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 결과는 현장의 양생조건, 대기온도, 풍속을 포함하는 여러 인자가 현장콘크리트 강도에 중요한 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단되었다. 여러 인자 중에서 대기온도의 변화에 따른 슬래브 온도와 성숙도 값에 미치는 영향을 평가한 결과, 대기온도는 슬래브 온도와 성숙도에 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 특히 대기온도에 따른 성숙도 곡선의 기울기는 감소하였으며, 이는 대기온도가 감소함에 따라 성숙도 값이 급격히 감소하였다.

  • Experiments were conducted to investigate the relationships between the soil freezing depth and the accumulated degree-day of temperature below $0^{\circ}C$ at 17 locations during 1989-1990 winter season in kangwon province. The observed results are as follows : 1.When accumulated degree-day of temperature below at was 141t at late January soil freezing depth of sunny place was 46.5cm, that of shaded lot was 59 cm, and that of marginal place sunny or shaded area was 55cm, in Chun cheon. 2.Accumulated degree-day of temperature below at of Dae gwangryong area was more than that of Un-du, whereas soil freezing depth of Dae gwangryong was lower that of Un-du. It was considered that snow covering worked as heat insulator. 3.Soil freezing depth of vinyl mulching on Zoysia turf was less by around 2Ocm than that of non-vinyl mulching. Rice hulls covering of 4Ocm showed the great heat insulation effects with the soil freezing depth of 1.5cm at sunny place and 6.5cm at shaded lot compared to that of 47cm at sunny and 59.5 cm at shaded place bare ground. 4.Among investingated areas, Dunae, Honeg seong gun was the deepest soil freezing, 89cm with $569^{\circ}C$ of accumulated degree-day of temperature below $0^{\circ}C$ at late February. 5.dehydration of Juniperus C. var. Kaizuca, Euonymus japonica, and Chamaecyparis pisifira at winter season was around 5 %, however dehydration of Vinca minor was more than 10 %. 유연성 편평발 청소년에게 적용한 로우다이 테이핑 기법이 동적 균형과 제자리 멀리뛰기에 미치는 영향 (Effect of low-dye taping technique applied to flexible flatfoot adolescents on dynamic balance and long jump in place)

  • 유연성 편평발 청소년에게 적용한 로우다이 테이핑 기법이 동적 균형과 제자리 멀리뛰기에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 연구의 대상자는 유연성 편평발 청소년 35명으로 탄력 테이프 17명과 비탄력 테이프 17명으로 로우다이 테이핑 기법을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 자료분석은 t-test 활용하여 그룹 중재 적용 전과 적용 후, 그리고 각각의 그룹간을 비교하였다. 연구 결과 동적 균형과 제자리 멀리뛰기에서 중재 적용 전과 적용 후에 유의한 결과가 나타났으며(p<.05), 각각의 그룹 간 비교에서 유의한 차이가 나타나지 않았다(p>.05). 결론적으로 유연성 편평발의 청소년에게 적용된 로우다이 테이핑 기법은 동적 균형과 제자리 멀리뛰기에 효과가 있으며, 로우다이 테이핑은 안쪽 세로활 상승의 즉각적 효과를 보기 위한 중재 방법으로 적절하다.

The application of model equations to Non-Fickian diffusion observed in Fluoropolymers

  • The diffusional behavior of many non-solvents in glassy or semicrystalline polymers cannot be adequately described by a concentration-dependent form of Fick's law, especially when mass transfer is coupled with structural changes. Many mathematical models have been devised to interprete non-Fickian diffusion dominated by relaxation kinetics. In formulation of non-Fickian diffusion mathematics, therefore, the most important factor to consider is how relaxation effects can influence the governing constitutive equation and boundary conditions. That is, relaxation parameters can be accommodated by variable boundary conditions or a modified continuity equation, or both, depending on specific systems and conditions (Frish, 1980). Accoring to Astarita and Nicolais (1983), the model equations can be broadly categorized as continuous or discontinuous. Continuous model equations encompass phenomena where the structural change takes place gradually over the whole volume of the polymer sample (Crank, 1953; Long and Richman, 1961; Berens and Hopfenberg, 1978). On the other hand, discontinuous model equations deal with the phenomena where the morphological change appears to be abrupt (Li, 1984). Four mathematical models with different relaxation parameters were applied to fit the anomalous sorption data observed in fluoropolymers (PVDF, ECTFE). The fitted result for PVDF-benzene sorption data is shown in Fig. 1.

흡연 대학생의 전자담배에 대한 인식과 전자담배 사용 영향 요인 (Electronic cigarettes recognition and influence factors of electronic cigarettes of among smoking university)

  • Objectives: This study is purpose to recognition the of smoking behavior and the electronic cigarette of university students have a current smoking. Methods: The subjects were university living in Busan, the survey was conducted from March 23 to April 12, 2015, 314 except for 24 copies of non-response and error response among a total of 340 questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analysis methods used in this study are $x^2$-test, Linear Regression Analysis and other basic statistics such frequency, percentage using SPSS version 22.0. Results: Electronic cigarette has been analyzed to be recognized non smoking, smoking reduces, good health than conventional cigarettes, convenient to use, there is no smell, can smoke in any place and as safe. Gender, grade, non smoking experience, non smoking and accept factors were analyzed to influence the use of electronic cigarettes. Conclusions: We suggest an established institutional arrangements and regulations, take advantage of various health programs development, and ongoing health education.
