전압 고조파에 의한 커패시터 전류 특성 해석 (A Study on the Characteristic of Capacitor Current by Voltage Harmonics)

  • As the increasing of non-linear load, we have a growing interest in power quality. Power quality has come to the voltage quality. Voltage harmonics consist in at the PCC by the non-linear load. Capacitor is generally used for the power compensation and as the passive filter by the serial connection with reactor. Capacitor has low impedance as the frequency increases, so easily fall down by the harmonic component of non-linear load. Small voltage of low-order acts on quite a few at the capacitor by the current increase. In this paper, we measured the magnitude and angle of voltage at the PCC and calculated under the same condition. we checked out that lower voltage of higher order produces current magnification.

RADIOMETRIC RESTORATION OF SHADOW AREAS FROM KOMPSAT-2 IMAGERY

  • In very high-spatial resolution remote sensing imagery, it is difficult to extract the feature information of various objects because of occlusion and shadows. Moreover, various and feeble information within shadows can be of use in GIS-based applications and remote sensing analysis. In this paper, we developed a radiometric restoration method for shadow areas using KOMPSAT-2 satellite image. After detecting the shadow, non-shadow pixels nearby are extracted using a morphological filter. An iterative linear regression method is applied to calculate the relationship between shadow and non-shadow pixels. The shadows are restored by the parameters of the linear regression algorithm. Tests show that recovery of shadowed areas by our method leads to improved image quality.

영상 기반의 이차 칼만 필터를 이용한 객체 추적 (Quadratic Kalman Filter Object Tracking with Moving Pictures)

  • 우리는 본 논문에서 이차 칼만 필터를 이용한 영상 기반 객체 추적분야의 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 최근에 발표된 이차 칼만 필터는 영상 기반의 객체의 실제 3차원 공간의 위치를 추적하는 것에는 아직 적용되지 않았다. 2차원 영상 내의 위치를 3차원 공간상의 위치로 환원시키는 것은 비선형적 변환을 수반하기 때문에 그에 맞는 추적 알고리즘을 사용해야만 한다. 이러한 상황에서, 비선형 수식을 이차식으로 근사화하는 이차 칼만 필터가 선형으로 근사화하는 확장 칼만 필터보다 더 정확한 성능을 낼 수 있다. 우리는 동일한 상황을 가정하여 확장 칼만 필터, 무향 칼만 필터, 파티클 필터, 그리고 우리가 제안한 이차 칼만 필터를 이용하여 객체를 추적하고, 그 결과를 비교해 본다. 결론적으로 이차 칼만 필터가 발산율이 확장 칼만 필터에 비해 거의 절반가량 감소하며, 추적 정확도 측면에서 무향 칼만 필터에 비해 1% 가량 우수한 성능을 나타낸다.

  • 지금까지 바이노럴 필터 설계 방법들의 대부분은 linear frequency scale을 이용한 것이지만, 사람의 귀는 non-linear frequency scale을 가지며 critical band에 의한 청각정보를 인지한다. 따라서, 이와 같은 특징을 이용하여 좀 더 효율적으로 바이노럴 필터를 설계할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 frequency warping을 이용해 non-linear frequency resolution을 갖는 바이노럴 필터를 계산한다. 또한, 종래의 설계방법에 의한 필터와 warped FIR 구조를 갖는 바이노럴 필터와의 비교청취를 통해 성능의 비교 평가를 수행 한다.

A study on the Frequency Analysis Function of the Auricle Using A Notch Filter

  • The human auricle is the first part to receive sound from the outside. In this part, the frequency range of human recognizable form is divided and organized. In this study, we propose modeling by applying a single sound source to the surface of the human auricle. This means that when the sound pressure of a low frequency (low frequency) sound enters the pinna, the impedance felt at the tip of a part of the non-linear surface of the pinna is mainly due to the tensile force at the end of the part of the non-linear surface of the pinna. By expressing the situation of moving at a very small speed, the characteristic impedance of the pinna was confirmed to be negative infinity, and it was also confirmed that the speed at the tip of a part of the non-linear surface of the pinna was 0 in the anti-resonance state. It was found that the wave propagation phenomenon that determines the characteristics of the filter is determined by how large the wavelength, kL, is compared to the length of the tip of a part of the non-straight surface of the pinna. Humans first receive sounds from outside through their ears. The auricle is non-linear and has a curved shape, and it is known that it analyzes frequencies while receiving external sounds. The human ear has an audible frequency range of 20Hz - 20,000Hz. Through the study, we applied the characteristics of the notch filter to hypothesize that the human audible frequency range is separated from the auricle, and applied filter theory to analyze it, and as a result, meaningful results were obtained. The curved part and the inner part of the auricle function as a trumpet, collecting sounds, and at the same time amplifying the weak sound of a specific band. The point was found and the shape of the envelope detected in the auricle was found. Selectivity for selecting sounds coming from the outside is the formula of the pinna that implements the function of Q. The function of distinguishing human-recognizable sound from the pinna from low to high through frequency analysis is performed in the pinna, and the 2-3kHz area, where human hearing threshold is the most sensitive, is also the acoustic impedance of the most recessed area of the pinna.   • The Kalman filter is an optimal linear estimator that has been an active research topic for the past three decades. The scheme has become the milestone of modern filtering, and it is applied to many areas including navigations and controls of free vehicle. The Kalman filter technique is matured. But some problems are still remained to be resolved. The prevention of divergence induced by digital implementation, nonoptimal application for nonlinear system, and application to non-Gaussian processes are some of the problems. This paper surveys the problems. The square root filtering is suggested to prevent the divergence. The extended Kalman filter is used for nonlinear systems. And, many other approaches to Kalman-like optimal estimators are also investigated.

  • A novel approach to estimate the real time moving trajectory of an object is proposed in this paper. The object position is obtained from the image data of a CCD camera, while a state estimator predicts the linear and angular velocities of the moving object. To overcome the uncertainties and noises residing in the input data, a Kalman filter and neural networks are utilized. Since the Kalman filter needs to approximate a non-linear system into a linear model to estimate the states, there always exist errors as well as uncertainties again. To resolve this problem, the neural networks are adopted in this approach, which have high adaptability with the memory of the input-output relationship. Kohonen Network(Self-Organized Map) is selected to learn the motion trajectory since it is spatially oriented. The superiority of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated through the real experiments.

  • System identification is the task of inferring a mathematical description of a dynamic system from a series of measurements of the system. There are several motives for establishing mathematical descriptions of dynamic systems. Typical applications encompass simulation, prediction, fault diagnostics, and control system design. The paper demonstrates that neural networks can be used effective for the identification of nonlinear dynamical systems. The content of this paper concerns dynamic neural network models, where not all inputs to and outputs from the networks are measurable. Only one model type is treated, the well-known Innovation State Space model(Kalman Predictor). The identification is based only on input/output measurements, so in fact a non-linear Extended Kalman Filter problem is solved. Even for linear models this is a non-linear problem without any assurance of convergence, and in spite of this fact an attempt is made to apply the principles from linear models, an extend them to non-linear models. Computer simulation results reveal that the identification scheme suggested are practically feasible.

  • A non-linear filtering for the noise cancelling of signals degraded by random impulsive noise is proposed. The non-linear algorithm is based on a criterion for the overall smoothness of the signal. The smoothness criterion is optimized by a dynamic programming strategy. It performs considerably better than a LDNF(low-distortion nonlinear filter), although being comparable in computing time.
