IPv6 멀티호밍 환경에서 확장 헤더를 이용한 경로 최적화 메커니즘 (A Route Optimization Mechanism using an Extension Header in the IPv6 Multihoming Environment)

  • 멀티호밍은 하나의 기업 혹은 자율 시스템(AS, Autonomous System)이 둘 이상의 인터넷 서비스 제공업체(ISP, Internet Service Provider)로부터 인터넷 연결 서비스를 제공받는 메커니즘이다. 멀티호밍 메커니즘을 사용하는 AS는 망 내의 호스트들에게 여러 ISP를 통하여 좋은 성능과 신뢰성을 가지는 인터넷 연결을 제공할 수 있다. IPv6 멀티호밍에서는 멀티호밍 사이트가 하나의 ISP하의 연결에 문제가 발생하였을 경우 멀티호밍 사이트로 전송되어야 하는 패킷을 손실 없이 목적지로 전달할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 Non-direct EBGP(Exterior Border Gateway Protocol)를 통한 터널링 메커니즘이 정의되었다. 그러나 이 메커니즘의 경우 신뢰성 있는 인터넷 연결은 제공하지만 통신 경로가 최적화되지 못하는 문제점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 IPv6 멀티호밍 환경에서 IPv6 확장 헤더를 사용함으로써 멀티호밍 사이트가 하나의 ISP와의 연결에 문제가 발생하였을 경우에 최적화된 경로를 통하여 신뢰성 있는 인터넷 연결을 제공할 수 있는 메커니즘을 제안한다.

주성분 분석을 통한 선박 기관 상태의 차수 축소 모델링 (Reduced Order Modeling of Marine Engine Status by Principal Component Analysis)

  • The present study concerns reduced order modeling of a marine diesel engine, which can be used for outlier detection in status monitoring and carbon intensity index calculation. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is introduced for the reduced order modeling, focusing on the feasibility of detecting and treating nonlinear variables. By cross-correlation, it is found that there are seven non-linear data channels among 23 data channels, i.e., fuel mode, exhaust gas temperature after the turbocharger, and cylinder coolant temperatures. The dataset is handled so that the mean is located at the nominal continuous rating. Polynomial presentation of the dataset is also applied to reflect the linearity between the engine speed and other channels. The first principal mode shows strong effects of linearity of the most data channels to show the linearity of the system. The non-linear variables are effectively explained by other modes. second mode concerns the temperature of the cylinder cooling water, which shows small correlation with other variables. The third and fourth modes correlates the fuel mode and turbocharger exhaust gas temperature, which have inferior linearity to other channels. PCA is proven to be applicable to data given in binary type of fuel mode selection, as well as numerical type data.

  • We introduce tightly-coupled GNSS-LiDAR-Inertial state estimator, which is capable of SLAM (Simultaneously Localization and Mapping) and autonomous driving. Long term drift is one of the main sources of estimation error, and some LiDAR SLAM framework utilize loop closure to overcome this error. However, when loop closing event happens, one's current state could change abruptly and pose some safety issues on drivers. Directly utilizing GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) positioning information could help alleviating this problem, but accurate information is not always available and inaccurate vertical positioning issues still exist. We thus propose our method which tightly couples raw GNSS measurements into LiDAR-Inertial SLAM framework which can handle satellite positioning information regardless of its uncertainty. Also, with NLOS (Non-light-of-sight) satellite signal handling, we can estimate our states more smoothly and accurately. With several autonomous driving tests on AGV (Autonomous Ground Vehicle), we verified that our method can be applied to real-world problem.

  • Anosov families were introduced by A. Fisher and P. Arnoux motivated by generalizing the notion of Anosov diffeomorphism defined on a compact Riemannian manifold. Roughly, an Anosov family is a two-sided sequence of diffeomorphisms (or non-stationary dynamical system) with similar behavior to an Anosov diffeomorphisms. We show that the set consisting of Anosov families is an open subset of the set consisting of two-sided sequences of diffeomorphisms, which is equipped with the strong topology (or Whitney topology).

  • 현대의 차량은 수동운전에서 자동운전의 시대로 진화하고 있다. 차량 내부에서는 전장기기와 소프트웨어의 비중이 점점 높아지면서 자동운전을 지원하는 차량은 외부와의 통신이 가능한 또 하나의 오픈 컴퓨터 시스템이 되어가고 있다. 자동차의 안전은 동승자와 비동승자의 안전을 의미한다. 현재 컴퓨터 시스템의 결함내성 및 보안 해법을 차용해서 아직 출현하지 않은 궁극적 자율주행자동차의 안전문제를 모두 해결할 수 있을 것인가는 단정할 수 없다. 자율주행차량이 시장에 나온 이후에 사람들이 위험해지면 안 되기 때문에, 현재의 기술력으로 예측할 수 있는 모든 위험을 사전에 진단하는 것이 필요하다. 그리고 출시되는 차량에 맞는 방어방안을 장착하는 것이 보다 안전한 차량을 개발하는 방법이 될 것이다. 본 논문은 자율주행자동차의 현재 개발 상황을 살펴보고, 주행 안전을 위협하는 자율주행자동차의 위험을 이에 대한 방어방안과 같이 분석하고자 한다.

모듈형 플랫폼을 적용한 자율비행 무인표적기 시스템 개발 (Development of Autonomous Aerial Target System Applying the Modular Platform)

  • A modular platform development technique was proposed to minimize development cost and development period by utilizing the already developed unmanned Aerial target AVT, which has been operated and verified for many years. New Mission Profile was designed and structural analysis was performed through finite element analysis (FEA) by analyzing mission requirements for visual short-range, non-visible mid-range, and long-range targets. The targets are used for guided missile anti-aircraft training. In addition, avionics systems including flight control computers for autonomous flights were developed to verify their conformance by performing launcher take-off tests with rapid acceleration changes and autonomous flight tests at a maximum speed of 300km per hour.

  • In this paper, decoupled course, depth and roll controller design for an Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) and its performance test results are presented. Control system design is done using the PD control scheme based on a mathematical model of the AUV. Details of system implementation are given and the results of simulations and experiments using the prototype vehicle model are discussed. The designed controller was successfully applied to the nonlinear and coupled system under non-ideal actuator conditions.

  • In Vehicle Information and Communication System (VICS), which is an active field of Intelligent Transport System (ITS), information of traffic congestion is sent to each vehicle at real time. However, a centralized navigation system is not realistic to guide millions of vehicles in a megalopolis. Autonomous distributed systems should be more flexible and scalable, and also have a chance to focus on each vehicle´s demand. This paper proposes a sub-optimal route planning mechanism of vehicles in urban areas using the non-network type immune system. Simulation is carried out using a cellular automaton model. This system announces a sub-optimal route to drivers in real time using VICS.

The Cultural and Environmental Unsoundness of the Chinese Public Squatting-Type Toilet: A Case Study toward a Sustainable Excreta Treatment System

  • The inconvenient truth of sustainable public squat toilet culture varies among nationalities. This culture may be comfortable to the people of China, yet uncomfortable to the non-Chinese, according to the adequate environmental management in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture (YKAP), northern China. We conducted a series of field surveys and individual interviews (Chinese n = 1,000 and non-Chinese [foreign visitors] n = 100) on several aspects of the public squat toilet: structural properties, waste disposal methods, important factors, and overall satisfaction level. The significant factors in response to the public squat toilets were cleanliness, odor, toilet paper, temperature, soap, other facilities, and presence of cubicles. These factors should be policy priorities of the local government. In addition, 66.2% of Chinese and 91% of foreign visitors desired type E toilets (two full-high partition walls and a door). The results illustrate the nature of a sustainable and beautiful approach to the culturally and environmentally sound management of various types of public squat toilet in YKAP. The government needs to focus on the future-oriented and excreta treatment management of the sustainable toilet culture for residents and visitors of YKAP.

받음각을 갖는 3차원 캐비테이터에서 발생하는 비축대칭 초공동 유동해석 (Numerical Analysis of Non-Axisymmetric Supercavitating Flow Around a Three-Dimensional Cavitator with an Angle of Attack)

  • In this study, morphological and hydrodynamic characteristics of the non-axisymmetric supercavity generated behind a disk-shaped cavitator were examined. By extending the previous study on axisymmetric supercavitating flow based on a boundary element method, hydrodynamic forces acting under the angle of attack condition of 0 to 30 ° and shape characteristics of the supercavity were analyzed. The results revealed that increasing the angle of attack by 30 ° reduced the length and width of the cavity by about 15% and the volume by about 40 %. An empirical formula that can quantitatively estimate the geometrical characteristics and change of the cavity was derived. It is expected that this method can be used to evaluate the shape information and force characteristics of the supercavity for the control of the vehicle in a very short time compared to the viscous analysis in the initial design stage of the supercavity underwater vehicle.
