  • It is widely recognized that train Is one of the most efficient and convenient ways for passenger and freight transportation. However, the environmental noise problem is occurred with the construction and service of train. The noise problems caused by train prevent people from living in a silent environment. Furthermore, this problem is related with the right to preserve one's environment. The objectives of this research are train noise measurement and analysis which might be a base-study for prediction of train noise. This paper mainly deals with the noise of the 'Semaul' train. The train noise shows distinct characteristics according to the variation of height and distance. Furthermore, the database and its interface program are developed for systematic analysis and future research.

대학주변 원룸형 다가구주택의 소음측정평가 (Evaluation on Noise Level of One-Room Type Multi-Family Housing Around Campus)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the noise environment of one-room type multi-family housing around the campus. The field measurements on equivalent noise level of indoor and outdoor were carried out in 6 subject house units during the 26th${\sim}$28th of November 2002. The results are as follows. 1) Outdoor noise levels of 6 subject buildings were distributed 52.8${\sim}$65.3dB(A) and were inappropriate to the standard for environmental noise, 55dB(A). 2) Indoor noise level of 6 subject house units were measured 27.5${\sim}$63.5dB(A). These values were higher than the indoor noise standard (40dB(A)) except subject house D(average 37.6dB(A)). 3) It was found that the differences of indoor noise levels between subject house units were caused by resident's living factor, characteristics of window, and existence of balcony.

  • The noise emitted from construction machinery has long been a cause of environmental disputes, especially to the nearby residents. In 2008, the Ministry of Environment adopted the construction machinery noise labeling system to encourage the development of the low noise construction machinery. After the implementation of the noise labeling system of the construction machinery, the noise emitted from the construction machinery has been decreased over the six years. But, as the quality of life improves, a growing number of people desire more comfortable and quite living environment. Under the situation, new systems like the low noise labeling system are considered to encourage the development of the low noise construction machinery. In accordance with the low noise labeling system, the construction machinery satisfying the standard of low noise are qualified to attach the low noise label in front of the products. Thus, the product qualified the low noise certification will be incentivized by the choice of the consumer. In this paper, we have studied the necessity of the low noise labeling system for the construction machinery and the considerations to adopt the low noise labeling system of construction machinery. And we have studied appropriate criterion to judge the low noise construction machinery. The considerations studied in this paper will be helpful to adopt the low noise labeling system of construction machinery in the future.

생활 환경의 소음 측정을 위한 모바일 데이터 처리 시스템의 설계 (The design of the mobile data processing system for noise measured in a living environment)

  • 우리나라의 대표적인 주거형태는 공동주택이다. 이로 인해 생활 소음으로 인한 민원 발생이 급증하고 있는 상태이다. 이에 실생활에서 주변 소음으로 인해 고통을 받는 경우에는 소음 측정기로 측정하여 민원을 제기할 수도 있다. 그러나 일반 가정에서는 전문적인 장비를 동원해 소음 측정을 하기가 어렵기 때문에 간편하게 스마트폰 앱을 사용하는 경우가 많다. 기존에 출시된 소음 측정 앱은 스마트폰의 기종별로 센서의 감도가 달라 동일한 조건에서 측정하여도 값이 다르게 나오는 등 정확도가 현저히 떨어지며, 실제 소음 측정을 위한 목적으로 사용하기가 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문은 스마트폰을 이용한 생활 환경의 소음 측정을 위한 모바일 데이터 처리 시스템을 제안한다. 본 연구의 기대 효과는 소음 측정의 정밀도를 높이고 소음이 발생하는 위치를 검색하여 민원처리에 활용할 수 있다.

공사장 소음진동 규제기준 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the improvement plan of regulatory standard for construction noise and vibration)

  • Noise and vibration problems at the construction site, expansion of construction scale and frequency of urban construction is increased, has given the damage to local residents. Also, the result of civil complaint about noise and vibration that occurred in 2011 was 56,244; it is showing an increasing trend of more than 4% annually. In particular, the construction noise and vibration, the civil complaints of around construction site accounts for 64.6%(36,353), are harmful to the tranquility of living environment. As a result, the government has managed to strengthen the regulatory standard of construction noise (65dB(A), Day-time) from 2011. However, the regulatory standard of construction noise and vibration does not meet and also complaints related the construction noise and vibration not decreased. Because the management system can be applied to the construction site is insufficient and a shortage of manpower. In this study, investigated the status and problems of the regulatory standards related to construction noise and vibration, we propose an efficient management plan of construction noise and vibration.

소음 단원의 교수-학습 모형 개발 및 적용에 관한 현장 연구 (A Case Study on the Teaching Method of the "Noise" Unit)

  • The environment of the world becomes deteriorated rapidly as the result of the development of technology, the increase of the standard of living, and the growth of population. These circumstances called for environmental education in Korea, creating an environment course in the middle and high school in 1995. Despite the increasing importance of environmental education, however, the situation has not developed in its favor because of the current system of the university entrance examination. The school has failed to develop the curriculum of environmental education in the secondary education. This paper solves this problem internally in terms of the improvement of the contents, organization, teaching method (role-playing game), and teaching materials of environmental education, with a case study of the “noise” unit in 10th grade. This case study expects to change the attitude toward noise, increase the interest and knowledge in environment, and lead to responsible environmental behavior.

The major source of the subway running train is rolling noise generated by the surface condition of wheel and rail. In this study, we research trends on the reduction noise level. Further-more, special traffic Ubiquitous helps to environment technical development.

Raynoise를 이용한 철도소음의 예측에 관한 연구 - 예측식과 Raynoise모델링의 비교 - (A Study on Prediction of Railway Noise Using Raynoise Modeling - A comparison of predicting expressions and Raynoise simulations -)

  • With the rapid industrial development, railways have become a main traffic means of transportation. However, rail traffic noise and vibration have become a major problem in urban areas which is a very serious issue for the living environment. Especially, railway noise induced by rail operations has influenced on the residents living near railway tracks. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the Raynoise modeling in railway applications. Generally, my acoustics have been used to investigate the effectiveness of noise barriers in railway applications and barriers are modeled using the commercial software Raynoise. A-weighted sound pressure level have been measured at six locations, 4m from the track and are compared with experimental values. Based on the analysis of the results, Comparison between numerical and experimental values are within 1dB (A). Also, when a train is m through the Raynoise modeling, the general influential sphere of railway noise can be determined. Therefore, this study will be using basic data in establishing effective railway noise prevention plans far the future. Also, we could know that is applicable of Raynoise modeling at railway noise.

  • Recently, construction vibration has caused annoyance for a number of dwellers in nearby construction field and that induced from operating of large construction equipment, has become a very serious issue in our living environment. But, construction vibration standard of our living environment. But construction vibration standard of our country is efficient. Especially, directly blow method(diesel piling method, oil pressure method, etc) has caused much problems of highly impactive vibration. Construction works, in order to solve these problem, will be used SIP(Soilcement Injected Precast Pile) method of low vibration equipment. In this point, this study attempts to survey on the characteristics of piling vibration by SIP method for various earth conditions in construction field. And this study intends to get the basic data to establish a standard about construction vibration.

  • For the comfortable housing life, an urban environment should give comfort and pleasantness to people living in house and in city. There are lots of environmental conditions in city affecting house and life and most of all the noise pollution have been become factor that makes people's life hard without need to say. Recently researches have been performed to create comfortable urban environment and a study on the evaluation of urban environmental sounds is now undergoing. This study aimed to analyse the subjective characteristics through the subjective evaluation to the sounds measured with physical parameters and eventually to find out evaluation method for urban environmental sounds. Vocabularies applied to previous studies were used for the subjective evaluation and sound sources recorded in specific places were presented with picture at the same time.
