In this paper, an iterative MAP approach using a Bayesian model based on the lognormal distribution for image intensity and a GRF for image texture is proposed for despeckling the SAR images that are corrupted by multiplicative speckle noise. When the image intensity is logarithmically transformed, the speckle noise is approximately Gaussian additive noise, and it tends to a normal probability much faster than the intensity distribution. The MRF is incorporated into digital image analysis by viewing pixel type s as states of molecules in a lattice-like physical system defined on a GRF. Because of the MRFGRF equivalence, the assignment of an energy function to the physical system determines its Gibbs measure, which is used to model molecular mteractions. The proposed adaptive iterative method was evaluated using simulation data generated by the Monte Carlo method. In the extensive experiments of this study, the proposed method demonstrated the capability to relax speckle noise and estimate noise-free intensity.

In this paper, we propose a new color interpolation method based on trilateral filter approach, which not only preserve the high-frequency components(image edge) while interpolating the missing raw data of color image(bayer data pattern), but also immune to the image noise components and better preserve the detail of the low-frequency components. The method is the trilateral filter approach applying a gradient to the low frequency components of the image signal in order to preserve the high-frequency components and the detail of the low-frequency components through the measure of the freedom of similarity among adjacent pixels. And also we perform Gaussian smoothing to the interpolated image data in order to robust to the noise. In this paper, we compare the conventional demosaicing algorithm and the proposed algorithm using 10 test images in terms of hue MAD, saturation MAD and CPSNR for the objective evaluation, and verify the performance of the proposed algorithm.

In the realization of obtained image by various visual equipments, the addition of noise to the original image is a common phenomenon and the occurrence of the noise is practically impossible to prevent completely. Thus, the noise detection and reduction is an important foundational purpose. In this study, we detect the orientation about feature of images and estimate the level of noise variance based on the measurement of the relative proportion of the noise. Also, we apply the estimated level of noise to the sigma filter on noise reduction algorithm. And using the orientation about feature of images by weighted value, we propose the effective algorithm to eliminate noise. As a result, the proposed statistical noise reduction methodology provides significantly improved results over the usual sigma filtering and regardless of the estimated level of the noise variance.
Noises are usually generated by various external causes and low quality devices in image data acquisition and recording as well as by channel interference in image transmission. Since these noise signals result in the loss of information, subsequent image processing is subject to the corruption of the original image. In general, image processing is performed in the mixed noise environment where common types of noise, known to be Gaussian and impulse, are present. This study proposes an iterative weighted mean filter for reducing mixed type of noise. Impulse noise pixels are first turned off in the input image, then $3{\times}3$ sliding window regions are processed by replacing center pixel with the result of weighted mean mask operation. This filtering processes are iterated until all the impulse noise pixels are replaced. Applied to images corrupted by Gaussian noise with ${\sigma}=10$ and different levels of impulse noise, the proposed filtering method improved the PSNR by up to 12.98 dB, 1.97 dB, 1.97 dB respectively, compared to SAWF, AWMF, MMF when impulse noise desities are less than 60%.

In the modern society where the communication technology has rapidly developed, image devices such as digital display, camera, etc., forms the center. However, during the transmission of image data, storing, and obtaining, a noise is added to the image due to various reasons and degrades the quality of the image. In this paper, an average filter algorithm modified in order to ease the effect of AWGN(additive white Gaussian noise) being added to the image was proposed. Also compare existing methods through the using PSNR.

Numerous spatial and transform-domain-based conventional denoising algorithms struggle to keep critical and minute structural features of the image, especially at high noise levels. Although neural network approaches are effective, they are not always reliable since they demand a large quantity of training data, are computationally complicated, and take a long time to construct the model. A new framework of enhanced hybrid filtering is developed for denoising color images tainted by additive white Gaussian Noise with the goal of reducing algorithmic complexity and improving performance. In the first stage of the proposed approach, the noisy image is refined using a high-dimensional non-local means filter based on Principal Component Analysis, followed by the extraction of the method noise. The wavelet transform and SURE Shrink techniques are used to further culture this method noise. The final denoised image is created by combining the results of these two steps. Experiments were carried out on a set of standard color images corrupted by Gaussian noise with multiple standard deviations. Comparative analysis of empirical outcome indicates that the proposed method outperforms leading-edge denoising strategies in terms of consistency and performance while maintaining the visual quality. This algorithm ensures homogeneous noise reduction, which is almost independent of noise variations. The power of both the spatial and transform domains is harnessed in this multi realm consolidation technique. Rather than processing individual colors, it works directly on the multispectral image. Uses minimal resources and produces superior quality output in the optimal execution time.

In this Paper, propose for MLP(multilayer perception) neural network that uses optimization recognition training scheme for the wavelet transform and the numeral image add to noise, and apply this system in Numeral Recognition. As important part of original image information preserves maximum using the wavelet transform, node number of neural network and the loaming convergence time did size of input vector so that decrease. Apply in training vector, examine about change of the recognition rate as optimization recognition training scheme raises noise of data gradually. We used original image and original image added 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50㏈ noise (or the increase of numeral recognition rate. In case of test image added 30∼50㏈, numeral recognition rate between the original image and image added noise for training Is a little But, in case of test image added 0∼20㏈ noise, the image added 0, 10, 20, 30, 40 , 50㏈ noise is used training. Then numeral recognition rate improved 9 percent.

Former times Information Technology generally has only depended on text or sound, while nowadays information is being moved through a variety of image media. Cell phone, TV and computer have been major elements of modem society as mediators using image signal. Therefore, image signal processing also has been treated importantly and done actively. The processing has been developed in many fields of digital image processing technologies as image data compression, recognition, restoration, etc. Noises are inevitably generated by using the signals during the processing, and typical types of the noise are Impulse(salt & pepper) and AWGN(Addiction White Gaussian Noise). To reduce the noise, various kinds of filters have been developed, and according to each noise, it is being used different filter each. However, the noise is not generated by one signal but by a complex. In this paper, I suggested an image filter to remove the complex noise, and compared with existing filters' methods for verification.

Removing noise which occurs inevitably when taking image data has been a big concern. There is a way to raise signal-to-noise ratio and it is regarded as the only way, image stacking. Image stacking is averaging or just adding all pixel values of multiple pictures taken of a specific area. Its performance and reliability are unquestioned, but its weaknesses are also evident. Object with fast proper motion can be vanished, and most of all, it takes too long time. So if we can handle single shot image well and achieve similar performance, we can overcome those weaknesses. Recent developments in deep learning have enabled things that were not possible with former algorithm-based programming. One of the things is generating data with more information from data with less information. As a part of that, we reproduced stacked image from single shot image using a kind of deep learning, conditional generative adversarial network (cGAN). r-band camcol2 south data were used from SDSS Stripe 82 data. From all fields, image data which is stacked with only 22 individual images and, as a pair of stacked image, single pass data which were included in all stacked image were used. All used fields are cut in $128{\times}128$ pixel size, so total number of image is 17930. 14234 pairs of all images were used for training cGAN and 3696 pairs were used for verify the result. As a result, RMS error of pixel values between generated data from the best condition and target data were $7.67{\times}10^{-4}$ compared to original input data, $1.24{\times}10^{-3}$. We also applied to a few test galaxy images and generated images were similar to stacked images qualitatively compared to other de-noising methods. In addition, with photometry, The number count of stacked-cGAN matched sources is larger than that of single pass-stacked one, especially for fainter objects. Also, magnitude completeness became better in fainter objects. With this work, it is possible to observe reliably 1 magnitude fainter object.

In recent image processing, active researches have been made along with rapid development in digital times. However, it is know that the image degradation occurs due to various external factors in the processes of image data processing, transmission and storage, and the main reason of image degradation is due to the noise. Typical methods to remove the noise are CWMF(center weighted median filter), A-TMF(alpha-trimmed mean filter) and AWMF(adaptive weighted median filter) and these methods have a little bit lacking noise reduction characteristics in mixed noise environments. Therefore, in order to remove the mixed noise, image restoration filter processing algorithm was suggested in this paper which processes by applying the median value of the mask and space weighted value after noise judgment. And for the objective judgment, it was compared with existing methods and PSNR(peak signal to noise ratio) was used as a judgment standard.
