The chemical composition of essential oils obtained from aerial parts in spearmint, apple mint and chocolate mint, was investigated by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry analyses. (-)-Carvone (33.0%) was quantitatively major compound in spearmint, followed by R-(+)-limonene (11.7%) and ${\beta}$-phellandrene (9.7%); (-)-carvone (37.4%) and germacrene D (11.9%) in apple mint; and (-)-menthol (34.3%), p-menthone (18.4%) and menthofuran (9.8%) in chocolate mint. Hierarchical cluster analysis and principle components analysis showed the clear difference in chemical composition of the three mint oils.

The syntheses and properties of polynuclear metal complexes have been reported to develop the easy syntheses and noble photo-characteristics of those complexes for photodynamic diagnosis (PDD) or photodynamic therapy (PDT). We have been focused on the design and synthesis of polynuclear lanthanide dendritic molecule due to long life time of fluorescence. Therefore, we will be presented on the design of home (Eu or Gd) or hetero (Tb or Lu) polynuclear lanthanide dendritic molecule.

This paper serves to analyze discourses on remarriage of the widows at the beginning of the modernization era or during the enlightenment period of Korea (1860-1910). The discourses of newspapers and Shinsoseol which are the text of this study have been analyzed with the qualitative research technique. The major conclusions that are derived from the study are as follows: First, intellectuals during the enlightenment period claimed the unfairness of the prohibition from remarriage of the widows with especially focusing on financial difficulty and life-long loneliness of the young widows. Second, permission of remarriage of the widows was explained not with the point of vies of individual life of widow, but with the point of vies of strengthening the international competitiveness. Third, the discourse claimed that the widow should hold the power of decision of remarriage. Forth, the discourse emphasized the etiquette of the wedding ceremony in remarriage of widows. Fifth, the point that the faithfulness was not easy for a usual widow to obey made the faithfulness noble ethical principle of Korea society.

In a preliminary study, Lactobacillus plantarum C29 was found to suppress 2,4,6-trinitrobenzenesulfonic acid (TNBS)-induced colitis in mice. Therefore, to understand whether an anti-colitic probiotic C29 could attenuate memory impairment, we examined the effects of C29 on TNBS-induced memory impairment in mice. Orally administered Lactobacillus plantarum C29 attenuated TNBS-induced memory impairment in mice in the Y-maze, noble object, and passive avoidance task tests. C29 treatment increased TNBS-suppressed hippocampal brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression and inhibited TNBS-induced hippocampal NF-${\kappa}B$ activation and blood LPS levels. Moreover, C29 restored the TNBS-disturbed gut microbiota composition. These findings suggest that C29 can alleviate memory impairment presumably by restoring the gut microbiota composition.

1999년도에 분홍색의 대형 스탠다드 장미 'Silba87' 품종을 모본으로 화형이 우수하지만 흰가루병에 약한 적색 스탠다드 장미 'Bravo' 품종을 부본으로 인공교배하였다. 2000년에 파종을 실시하여 2080개체의 실생을 획득하여 이들을 대상으로 2001-2003년까지 3차에 거쳐 특성검정을 실시한 후 최종 특성검정 단계에서 기호도 조사를 실시한 결과 최종 선발 된 '원교 D1-37'을 2003년 농촌진흥청 농작물 직무육성 신품종 선정위원회를 거쳐 '노블레드'로 명명하여 국립종자원에 2004년 1월 26일 품종보호출원 하여(출원번호: 102004000035) 2005년 3월 16일 품종등록되었다(등록번호: 1149). '노블레드'의 화색은 적색으로 RHS 칼라챠트번호 46C이며 화형은 고심형의 화형이며 향기는 거의 없었다. 꽃잎수는 30.8개로서 '롯데로제'의 23.8개보다 많았으며 화폭은 14 cm로 '롯데로제'와 비슷했지만 화고가 6.0 cm로 높아 화형이 우수했다. 평방미터당 년간 절화수량은 125본이며 절화장은 71.9 cm 절화경경은 6.0 mm로 롯데로제보다 절화경경이 굵고 절화장은 약간 짧아 강건한 절화형태를 보인다.

The purpose of this study is confirming the design characteristics and brand strategies of Ralph Lauren's products through the advertising pictures on internet website. Methods of this study are the analysis of his brand growth process, concept strategy and designs by web promotion sites. Also this study defined his brand character and fashion mind. The Results are as follows. 1) Ralph Lauren's concept strategies are 1. Convert british type into American style 2. Presentation an American life style 3. Marketing strategy using life style and IT business. 2) Ralph Lauren's designs characters are 1. Rich and simple style by preppy look 2. Traditional wear of noble taste 3. Western style of American reclamation period 4. Using of comfortable material 5. Unique colors which are simbolic. Today, his classic and preppy designs all draw upon an image of old word wealth and luxury and he pioneered the concept of clothes as part of a lifestyle environment.

Purpose. Professional nursing ethics is a living, dynamic set of standards for nurses' professional moral behavior. Furthermore, in daily clinical nursing training, nursing students are constantly confronted with decision-making that is moral in nature. The aim of this study was to identify the perceived ethical attitudes in the clinical training process of senior nursing students using Q-methodology to offer basic strategies for nursing ethics education and thereby improve patients' care. Methods. Q-methodology provides a scientific method for identifying perception structures that exist within certain individuals or groups. Thirty-seven participants in a university rated 38 selected Q-statements on a scale of 1-9. The collected data were analyzed using pc-QUNAL software. Results. Principal component analysis identified 3 types of ethical attitudes in nursing students in Korea. The categories were labeled Sacred-life, Science-realistic and Humane-life. Sacred-life individuals think that a life belongs to an absolute power (God), not a man, and a human life is a high and noble thing. Science-realistic individuals disagreed that allowing an induced abortion or embryo (human) duplication is unethical behavior that provokes a trend, which takes the value of a life lightly; most of them took a utilitarian position with respect to ethical decisions. Humane-life individuals exhibit a tendency toward human-centered thought with respect to ethical attitudes. Conclusion. This study will be of interest to educators of students of nursing and hospital nursing administrators. Also, the findings may provide the basis for the development of more appropriate strategies to improve nursing ethics education programs.

옛 동전(銅錢)에 존재하는 이리듐, 금과 은 등 귀금속 원소들을 정량하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. $^{192}Ir,\;^{198}Au$ 및 $^{110m}Ag$의 방사능 세기를 계측할 때, 반감기가 긴 핵종에서 방출된 큰 감마선 에너지에 의한 간섭을 감소시키기 위하여 용매추출, 이온교환 크로마토그래피 등 방사화학 분리를 적용하였다. 그 결과 이리듐을 $10^{-11}$ g/g양까지 정량할 수 있었고, 또한 Currie의 방법으로 계산한 3종류의 검출한계, 즉 임계, 검출, 정량한계를 향상시킬 수 있었다. 이리듐의 회수율을 결정하기 위하여 담체를 첨가하여 방사화학 분리를 한 후 중성자를 제조사하였다. 5개의 동전 중의 Ir, Au 및 Ag에 대한 평균 회수율은 각각 65.3%, 98.5%, 99.5%이었다.

전통시대의 문학을 생태주의적 관점에서 논의한다면 당대 지식인인 양반들과 사대부의 시조인 평시조에 나타난 자연관 정도로 생각하였던 탓에 사설시조나 서민작가는 큰 관심의 대상이 아니었다. 또한 사설시조 속의 '산것들'도 주목받지 못했다. 그것들은 시어로서는 부적절한, 이른바, '생경한 시어' 또는 '비시적 사물의 시화'라는 홀대를 받았다. 그 어떤 평자들도 그 살아 숨쉬는 것들을 '산것들'로 인식하지 않았고, 따라서 작품속의 주체적 대상으로도 인식하고자 하지 않았다. 그러나 사설시조에서는 경험적, 구체적, 일상적 동물들의 등장이 관심을 끈다. 이는 사실 양반들의 관념적 생물관과 비교될 만한 단서도 된다. 본고는 사설시조 속의 이들 '산것들'과 그들에 대한 작가의 시각과 인식에 대해 소박한 논의를 하였다. 본고에서 '산것들'은 살아 움직이는 것들을 의미한다. 먼저 사설시조 속의 '산것들'은 일상과 경험의 생물들이었다. 그것들은 더 이상 사설시조의 작가에게는 지식이나 관념적 생물이 아니었다. 생물환경적으로 도저히 공생할 수 없는 '산것들'이 함께 등장하는 것이 가능하거나 그 반대로 오랫동안 친숙한 일상경험에 근거하여 '산것들'에 대한 경험적 인식이 탁월한 작품도 있었다. 또한 '산것들'에 대한 사설시조 작가들의 친근하고도 애틋한, 그리고 우리 인간과 다를 바 없는 생명체에 대한 온기 있는 시선은 때로는 동일시의 대상으로 또 때로는 감정이입의 대상으로 파악하기도 하였다. 더러는 애증이 혼재하는 복합적 시선도 눈에 띈다. 사설시조 작가들의 삶은 온갖 '산것들'과 함께 하는 공생의 삶에 다름 아니다.
