  • This article describes a definition of next generation access network, and introduces the researches about a candidate optical links for the next generation access network, and a trend of standardization of Next Generation Access (NGA). Expansion in reaches of access network enables to the evolutions to the metro-access union system. Also, this paper reviews the access network in Korea, and suggests the requirements for the system in NGA.

  • In this paper present Autonomous Adaptive Digital Over Current Relay which acts autonomous setting using voltage and current measured by relay in the change of power systems. Automation of relay setting is required for distribution automation although manual relay setting is used at present. This paper presents Autonomous Relay Setting which knows change of the power system and acquires setting element using the Recursive Least Squares. Relay setting is very difficult work. But proposed relay is expected to decrease burden of relay setting using acquired information of power system change and autonomous setting. Also fast protective ability is expected according to change of power system.

  • 본 논문은 현재 사용하고 있는 비행정보 시스템 전체를 연구하고 차세대 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템을 설계하였다. 지상의 서비스에서 좌석예약, 운송, 발권과 수화물 역추적, 그리고 비행기 내에서 고객을 위한 AVOD, 게임, TV, 휴대전화, 기내 인터넷 사용과 항공사와 관제업무인 ATC, ATS, 항공교통관제업무에 대한 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템을 연구하였다. 연구 결과를 토대로 하여 차세대 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템과 네트워크 보안, 시스템 보안에 필요한 정보보호 시스템을 설계하였으며, 기존의 유비쿼터스 비행정보시스템과 차세대 시스템을 비교 분석하여 개선점과 차이점을 도출하였다. 본 논문의 연구결과 세계 항공 및 관련산업에 비전을 제시하고 통신효율성과 고객의 만족도 및 비행 안전성과 효율성을 확보하여 비행정보산업에 새로운 지평을 개척할 것이다.

An Autonomous Optimal Coordination Scheme in a Protection System of a Power Distribution Network by using a Multi-Agent Concept

  • In this paper, a protection system using a Multi-Agent concept for power distribution networks is proposed. Every digital over current relay(OCR) is developed as an agent by adding its own intelligence, self-tuning and communication ability. The main advantage of the Multi-Agent concept is that a group of agents work together to achieve a global goal which is beyond the ability of each individual agent. In order to cope with frequent changes in the network operation condition and faults, an OCR agent, suggested in this paper, is able to detect a fault or a change in the network and find its optimal parameters for protection in an autonomous manner considering information of the whole network obtained by communication between other agents. Through this kind of coordination and information exchanges, not only a local but also a global protective scheme is completed. Simulations in a simple distribution network show the effectiveness of the suggested protection system.

  • Supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems are essential parts of power system which employ a wide range of computers and communication technologies. The traditional SCADA system is mainly for information exchange in only one company, and the information is provided only to the operator or administrator. But in the deregulated environment, we need much more information, which can be exchanged among different companies. With the rapid development of internet, we can use it to access information easily. This paper proposes web technologies to be applied in power system in order to display some important information through accessing data from database, and to realize the real time control of the substation. The functions of SCADA system will be implemented by a set of Web-based components. The monitoring and control of standard 154[kV] substation model is already realized in the laboratory test. The Web-based SCADA system is able to provide sufficient information and control for pow or system through an efficient and economical way.

차세대 이동통신 컨버전스 서비스 모델 개발 프레임워크 (Design Framework for Next Generation Mobile Convergence Service Models)

  • It is expected that the next generation mobile communication system will be a service-driven developed system capable to realize the human-centric mobile convergence services. and it is different from the technology-driven development approach of the second and the third generation mobile communication systems. As a preliminary research work on such service-driven system development approach for the next generation mobile communication system. we developed the scenario based service analysis process (2SAP) framework to derive core service technologies and functionalities. In this paper. we propose the next generation mobile convergence service business model creation methodology based on research results of the 2SAP framework. To achieve this goal, we first establish a service model contains several components such as infrastructures. operations. and provision of services that are indispensible for providing next generation mobile services. Then, the next generation mobile services and its corresponding business models can be created by adding service and value flows to the developed service model after defining necessary components of business model including actors, their relationships, and roles.

  • 차세대 수치지도 수시갱신 시스템은 효율적인 수시갱신 체계를 구축하고 데이터의 최신성을 유지하며 고품질의 서비스와 효율적 관리를 수행하기 위한 시스템으로 기존 도엽단위의 수치지도 뿐만 아니라 객체 기반 연속 수치지도의 수시갱신이 가능하도록 시스템이 설계되었으며, 이에 따라 개발이 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 차세대 수치지도 수시갱신 시스템의 활용 방안 제시 및 경쟁력 확보에 기여하고자 차세대 수치지도 수시갱신 시스템에 대하여 객체기반의 연속 수치지도 및 도엽단위 수치지도의 갱신 실험을 수행하여 시스템 운영에 따른 문제점과 개선사항을 제시하였다. 또한 국토지리정보원을 대상으로 시스템 도입에 따른 비용 및 편익에 대한 분석을 수행하여 차세대 수치지도 수시갱신 시스템의 경제성에 대한 분석을 수행하였다.

  • In this paper, a communication module is proposed to be applied to communication between over current relay (OCR) agents in multi agent protection system. A multi agent system can achieve a global goal beyond the ability of each individual agent by working together, in which it is the prerequisite for each agent to be able to exchange or share information or processing status with other agent. The proposed communication module is purposed to enable not only each agent to bring about its own goal, but also the whole protective system to provide much improved coordinated protection. It is applied to a self adaptive protection system for a distribution network using multi agent concept to show its effectiveness.
