동태적 측도를 이용한 경제성 평가 (Evaluation of Economic Alternatives with Dynamic Measures)

  • This paper presents a new present value measure, the dynamic present value, or DPV. DPV takes into account not only the value of the realized cash flow but also that of potential cash flow. The DPV approach enables the analyst to observe differences in the present value of the alternatives every period over the whole time period of interest. This is the most fundamental advantage of the DPV approach over the traditional present value approach in which the present value of the alternatives is evaluated only one particular point of time. The concepts of the realized and potential cash flows are also developed in this paper. These new concepts are found to be useful elements in evaluating economic alternatives.

  • The authors map some of the current Business Models in the Massively Multiplayer Online Player scenario. These maps represent Value Creation Systems by resorting to Value Net constructs and notations, and are offered here as a proof of concept and utility. The authors claim that these mappings can enable readers, managers and IT experts, to build new insights onto such Business Models and develop requirements for Information System infrastructure. When approaching the Value Creation System as a Value Net the goal is to think outside the conceptual box of Value Chains and understand how the different activities interact, by exposing the multiplicity of value types and flows. In doing this study the authors are attempting to synthesize a new Business Model proposal that could underlie the development of an infrastructure for the collaborative creation, distribution and exploration of online massively multiplayer games, beyond the traditional producer-consumer roles.

Global Service Innovation: A Case Study of Ajisen Ramen

  • This study aimed to investigate the mechanism by which service companies transfer their services overseas and create new value while interacting with local characteristics. A narrative analysis method was used in a case study of Ajisen Ramen, a Japanese service company that created a Japanese-style ramen restaurant, which experienced rapid growth in China. This study analyzed the restaurant as global service innovation and constructed a causal mechanism to explain the resulting rapid growth. In the pre-entry stage, the tangible value source core service facilitated its successful overseas transfer. In the post-entry stage, value source core service standardization and value sharing were interrelated and locally accepted factors. Knowledge of the local characteristics influenced the local storefront format that allowed contact with local customers. This local front format made it possible to offer local customers new value. The global service innovation mechanism developed through this study reflects a causal diagram that correlated the theoretical concepts of these events.

한국 남성의 얼굴 피부색 판별을 위한 색채 변수에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Discriminant Variables of Face Skin Colors for the Korean Males)

  • The color of apparels has the interaction of the face skin colors of the wearers. This study was carried out to classify the face skin colors of Korean males into several similar face skin colors in order to extract favorable colors which flatter to their face skin colors. The criterion that select the new subjects who have the classified face skin colors have to be decided. With color spectrometer, JX-777, face skin colors of subjects were measured quantitatively and classified into three clusters that had similar hue, value and chroma with Munsell Color System. Sample size was 418 Korean males and other 15 of new males subjects. Data were analyzed by K-means cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan multiple range test, Stepwise discriminant analysis using SPSS Win. 12. Findings were as follows: 1. 418 subjects who have YR colors were clustered into 3 kinds of face skin color groups. 2. Discriminant variables of face skin colors was 4 variables : L value of forehead, v value of cheek, c value of forehead, and b value of cheek from standardized canonical discriminant function coefficient 1 and c value of forehead, L value of forehead, b value of cheek. and L value of cheek from standardized canonical discriminant function coefficient 2. 3. Hit ratio of type 1 was $92.3\%$, of type 2 was $96.5\%$ and of type 3 was $92.6\%$ by the canonical discriminant function of 4 variables. 4. The canonical discriminant function equation 1 and 2 were calculated with the unstandardized canonical discriminant function coefficient and constant, the cutting score, and range of the score were computed. 5. The criterion that select the new subjects who have the classified face skin colors was decided.

중복설계 최적화문제의 새로운 초기 값 설정에 관한 연구 (A New Initial Value for Solving Redundancy Optimization Problems)

  • This paper presents a method for establishing an initial value of redundancy optimization problem to maximize system reliability of multiconstraint mixed parallel-series system. The constraints not be linear. This paper proposes a new initial value which is near to optimal solution by considering the relative median rate of the unreliability and amount of consumed resources for each subsystem. To show the efficiency of this model. numerical example and comparison with Narasimhalu is illustrated in chapter 4.

최고경영자 취임 초기 회계수치의 가치관련성 (The Value Relevance of Accounting Numbers in the New CEO's Early Years of Service)

  • 본 논문에서는 신임 최고경영자가 취임 초기에 우호적인 시장의 평판, 높은 보상 및 계약 연장 등의 개인적 혜택을 목적으로 이익 조정 등을 통한 보고 이익의 과다 계상 행태로 인한 기업의 실질 이익과 보고 이익간에 괴리가 생겨 기업의 가치관련성에 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상하였다. 이러한 가치관련성의 변화를 살펴보기 2004년부터 2014년까지 11년간을 연구기간으로 선정하고 최고경영자 교체기업의 가치관련성을 미교체기업과 비교하고, 신임경영자의 취임 초기의 가치관련성 변화를 재임 후반기와 비교하여 실증분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 Ohlson(1995)의 가치평가식을 이용하여 기업의 순이익 및 순자산 장부가치에 대한 차별적 가치평가계수를 추정하는 방법을 적용하였다. 연구기간동안 14,373 관찰치를 대상으로 하여 최고경영자를 교체한 2.971 관찰치의 상대적 가치관련성의 변화를 분석하였고, 신임경영자의 취임 초기 이익조정 행태가 가치관련성에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 4,810 관찰치의 가치관련성의 변화를 분석하였다. 실증분석의 주요한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체표본에 대한 분석에서 최고경영자를 교체한 기업의 순이익은 가치관련성이 하락하는 반면 순자산 장부가치의 그것은 상승하는 경향이 관찰되었다. 이는 최고경영자의 이익조정으로 순이익 수치와 기업의 실질가치의 변동 간의 괴리가 증폭됨에 따라 순이익의 가치관련성이 저하된 반면, 신임 최고경영자의 'big bath' 등의 보수적인 회계처리로 인하여 순자산장부가치가 실질가치에 보다 접근하는 결과가 나타나 장부가치의 가치관련성은 향상된 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 신임 최고경영자의 취임 초기에 순이익의 가치관련성은 하락하였으나 순자산 장부가의 가치관련성은 상승한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 현상도 최고경영자 교체기업의 분석 결과와 같이 신임경영자의 이익조정 등의 행태가 시장에 부정적인 영향을 미쳐 주당순이익의 가치관련성은 감소하였지만, 최고경영자의 취임 초기 보수적인 회계처리로 주당순자산의 가치관련성은 증가한 것으로 보인다. 본 연구는 2004년부터 국내 상장사를 대상으로 최고경영자 취임 초기의 이익조정 행태로 인한 가치관련성을 국내 최초로 분석한 결과를 제공하였다는 점에서 공헌점을 갖는다.

Global Value Chain in East Asia Under "New Normal": Ideology- Technology-Institution Nexus

  • This paper analyzes how the current Global Value Chain (GVC) of East Asia has been established, and attempts to project the future trajectory of GVC under New Normal in the global trading system. For this purpose, the framework of Ideology-Technology-Institution nexus is presented with focus on the dynamics of interplay between ideology and technology, duly recognizing the dual-aspect of technology- a platform for business and also for national defense. The paper analyzes how the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of the 1990s played a role of "facilitator" in shaping the GVC of East Asia, where China plays 'factory for final assembly' and the US plays 'the largest consumer'. Under New Normal, digital technology is likely to play the opposite role of "disrupting" the GVC of East Asia, unlike ICT. The paper explores the mechanism behind this great disruption. What is driving New Normal is the US-China power competition, seeking for dominance in East Asia and beyond. This paper argues that New Normal is not temporary shock, but will last for some time. Under this presumption, the paper presents three scenarios for the future trajectory of GVC in East Asia.

고속도로의 용량산정 방법론 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of New Freeway Capacity Estimation Method)

  • PURPOSES : This study aimed to develop a new highway capacity estimation method and provide comparative results among traditional capacity estimation methods and the recommended values in the latest version of KHCM. METHODS : The limitations of the existing methods, such as inconsistency and underestimation of the capacity value, are summarized through an extensive literature review. To overcome these limitations, a new method is introduced by adopting a definition of capacity and traffic flow characteristics at or near breakdown points. This method can produce the capacity value by searching a point corresponding to the maximum traffic flow through analysis of gradient changes (point of inflection) of the traffic flow and speed distribution. Comparative results of capacity values from each method are also presented to validate the new method by using data collected from detectors on freeways. RESULTS: From the analysis results, it is shown that a consistent capacity value can be estimated by applying the new method. In addition, the resulting capacity values are 3%-4% higher than those recommended in KHCM. CONCLUSIONS : The capacity values listed in the current KHCM tend to produce underestimated results. The new method presented in this paper may be included in the future edition of KHCM.

순회 판매원 문제 해결을 위한 개미집단 최적화 알고리즘 개선 (Improvement of Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm to Solve Traveling Salesman Problem)

  • It is one of the known methods to obtain the optimal solution using the Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm for the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP), which is a combination optimization problem. In this paper, we solve the TSP problem by proposing an improved new ant colony optimization algorithm that combines genetic algorithm mutations in existing ant colony optimization algorithms to solve TSP problems in many cities. The new ant colony optimization algorithm provides the opportunity to move easily fall on the issue of developing local optimum values of the existing ant colony optimization algorithm to global optimum value through a new path through mutation. The new path will update the pheromone through an ant colony optimization algorithm. The renewed new pheromone serves to derive the global optimal value from what could have fallen to the local optimal value. Experimental results show that the existing algorithms and the new algorithms are superior to those of existing algorithms in the search for optimum values of newly improved algorithms.

새로운 고객 가치혁신 요구공학 프로세스를 적용한 BPR 컨설팅 (BPR Consulting applying New Customer Value Innovation Requirements Engineering Process)

  • (Most companies that perform BPR have not achieved satisfactory results or have not performed successful BPRs. There are many reasons for this, but the most important one has caused problems that do not accurately reflect the requirements of various stakeholders. In this paper, we will apply the BPR consulting methodology to a new value innovation requirements engineering process based on the Blue Ocean strategy, which is a way to create a new market without competition by customerizing potential customers by satisfying new customer expectations and needs. This paper uses a requirements engineering process that can generate customer value by applying the ERRC(Erasure Reduce Raise Create) analysis method, which is the core of the Blue Ocean Strategy Framework[1,2]. We will also apply the Six Sigma DFSS (Design For Six Sigma) methodology to improve quality and process through quantitative and systematic analysis. The proposed approach was presented to the BPR consulting to present a practical case, and the results of the empirical analysis of the system user to validate the results of BPR consulting.
