The indigenous fungi in Mudeungsan National Park were investigated between 2020 and 2022. All collected specimens were identified to the species level based on their morphological characteristics and rDNA sequences. Species belonging to the family Boletaceae were analyzed in depth. Six species, Aureoboletus sinobadius, Hourangia densisquamata, H. nigropunctata, Tengioboletus glutinosus, Tylopilus himalayanus, and Xerocomus subparvus were newly recorded as macromycota in Korea.

A new species of leuconid cumaceans, Nippoleucon projectus n. sp. is described on the basis of the specimens collected from western shallow coast of the South Korea. This new species is easily distinguished from two previously recorded species (N. hinumensis and N. enoshimensis) in having the fifth abdominal segment prominently projected to rear at dorsal posterior portion and the carapace of the female with three spines on the frontal lobe.

One Iravadiid shell Iravadia (Fluviocingula) elegantula (A. Adams, 1861), from the brackish waters in Kangwon-do was recorded as new to the Korean molluscan fauna. The shell is typically solid and narrowely ovate-conic. The protoconch is small, planorboid to depressed dome-shaped, typically with a minute first whorl. Including the new records in this study, the family Iravadiidae contained 2 genera and 3 species in the Korean water.

Three halacarid species belonging to the genus Copidognathus are recorded from the shallow subtidal sands at Ko Taenae Islet (sand dune) off Ko Pha-Ngan Island, Thailand: Copidognathus thailandicus n. sp., C. euryalus Bartsch, 1997 and C. orarius Otto, 2001. Copidognathus thailandicus n. sp. comes close with C. cribrosoma (Police, 1909) and C. cribellus Bartsch, 1993 due to dorsal plates completely covered with rosette pores. Dissimilarities among them are discussed. Copidognathus euryalus and C. orarius are recorded hove for the first time from Thailand and away from its type locality. The present paper is also the first contribution on the taxonomy of Halacaridae (Acari) from Thailand.

47 species was reported in the genus Marasmius in Republic of Korea up to now. 26 of total 47 species previously recorded from Korea were made up a list. Korean common names of 10 new species and 11 species newly recorded in Korea were introduced in study with synoptic key. These names were followed by the Romanization rule to express Korean common name.

Two crangonid shrimps, Paracrangon abei Kubo, 1937 and Pontocaris sibogae (De Man, 1918), collected from the northeastern and southeastern waters of Jeju Island, are newly recorded into the Korean fauna. The former is the second species and the latter is the only species of each genus recorded in Korea. Morphological and distributional accounts of these two species are briefly discussed.

A revised checklist of the Korean Plecoptera is updated here, with 10 families, 36 genera, and 95 species are reported. Pictetiella asiatica Zwick & Levanidova, Claassenia radiata (Klapálek), Xanthoneuria unimaculata (Zhiltzova) and Sweltsa sp. Ko (temporary name) are known only from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Nemoura sahlbergi Morton, Perlomyia kiritshenkoi Zhiltzova, and Neoperla adamantea Murányi & Li are reported for the Republic of Korea in this study. Nemoura ussuriensis Zhiltzova, Capnia sidimiensis Zhiltzova, Eucapnopsis quattuorsegmentata Okamoto, Yoraperla uenoi (Kohno), Isoperla kozlovi Zhiltzova, and Kamimuria lyubaretzi Teslenko are new from the Korean peninsula. Materials, bibliographic data, diagnoses for newly recorded species, and their distributions are provided.

Two cold-water coral taxa, Octocorallia in the class Anthozoa and Stylasteridae in the class Hydrozoa, were identified. Deep-water samples were collected in fishing nets at depths ranging between 20 and 200 m along the coasts of the East Sea in Korea from 1976 to 1993. The two species found in this study represent new records for Korea: Paragorgia arborea (Linnaeus, 1758) in the class Anthozoa, and Stylaster profundiporus Broch, 1936 in the class Hydrozoa. Two families, Paragorgiidae and Stylasteridae, are also newly recorded in Korea. Furthermore, the species name of another cold-water gorgonian species, Primnoa pacifica (Kinoshita, 1907) in the family Primnoidae, is amended in this report. The two newly recorded cold-water coral species from Korea are described in detail based on their morphological characteristics. Paragorgia arborea is characterized by its growth form, medulla and cortex, zooid dimorphism, canal system, and spicule composition. Stylaster profundiporus is distinguished by its external skeletal characteristics, such as the coordination of dactylopores and gastropores, presence or absence of gastrostyles and dactylostyles, cyclosystem orientation, ampullar position, gastropore tube shape, and coenosteal texture.

Pagurus undosus and Pagurus parvispina, collected from the East Sea by fishery trap, are newly recorded from Korean waters. Pagurus undosus is distinguished from other hermit crab by its right cheliped slightly elevated medially, and with broad ridge formed by deep depressions mesial and lateral to midline. Pagurus parvispina is distinguished from other hermit crab by its right cheliped covered with large spine and long tufts of setae. These species live in cold water areas and their geographical distribution is extended southwardly by the present study. A specimen of the former species, P. undosus, was found living in a shelter formed by a sponge, similar to that observed in Pagurus pectinatus. Descriptions and figures of these two species are provided in this paper. Currently, 27 species of the genus Pagurus are recorded in Korean fauna.

The paper provides an overview of those requirements. A detailed description is given of the construction of the new channel code, called 24/25 code, that compiles with the given constraints and involves only a minor drawback in terms of the overhead needs. The servo position information is recorded as low frequency componets, pilot tracking tones, which are embedded in the recorded stream of binary digits. Pilot tracking Tones are used to derive head position reference information in camcorders and DVCRs. A simple pilot tone encoder has been designed by using a new approach, "2 path precoder". Owing to this method, the hardware size can be significantly reduced. the correctness of the method has been verified by theoretical analysis and by extensive simulation.imulation.
