Intelligent control system design of track vehicle based-on fuzzy logic (퍼지 로직에 의한 궤도차량의 지능제어시스템 설계)

  • This paper presents a new approach to the design of intelligent control system for track vehicle system using fuzzy logic based on neural network. The proposed control scheme uses a Gaussian function as a unit function in the neural network-fuzzy, and back propagation algorithm to train the fuzzy-neural network controller in the framework of the specialized learning architecture. It is proposed a learning controller consisting of two neural network-fuzzy based on independent reasoning and a connection net with fixed weights to simply the neural networks-fuzzy. The performance of the proposed controller is illustrated by simulation for trajectory tracking of track vehicle speed.

  • This paper is proposed maximum torque per ampere of induction motor using fuzzy-neural networks controller. Operation of maximum torque per ampere is achieved when, at a given torque and speed, the slip frequency is adjusted to that so that the stator current amplitude is minimized. This paper introduces a induction motor drive system with fuzzy-neural networks controller. A neural network-based architecture is described for fuzzy logic control. The characteristic rule and their membership function of fuzzy system are represented as the processing nodes in the neural network structure. This paper is proposed the analysis as well as the simulation results to verify the effectiveness of the new method.

  • In this paper, we propose a new neuro-fuzzy controller based on reinforcement learning. The proposed system is composed of neuro-fuzzy controller which decides the behaviors of an agent, and dynamic recurrent neural networks(DRNNs) which criticise the result of the behaviors. Neuro-fuzzy controller is learned by reinforcement learning. Also, DRNNs are evolved by genetic algorithms and make internal reinforcement signal based on external reinforcement signal from environments and internal states. This output(internal reinforcement signal) is used as a teaching signal of neuro-fuzzy controller and keeps the controller on learning. The proposed system will be applied to controller optimization and adaptation with unknown environment. In order to verifY the effectiveness of the proposed system, it is applied to collision avoidance of an autonomous mobile robot on computer simulation.

  • Even though efficiency of coal-fired power plant is proportional to operating temperature, increasement of operating temperature is limited by a technological level of each power plant component. It is an alternative plan to increase operating pressure up to ultra super critical point for efficiency enhancement. It is difficult to control process of power plant in ultra super critical point because that point has highly nonlinear characteristics. In this paper, new control logic, Unit Response Optimizer Controller(URO Controller) which is based on Fuzzy logic and Model Predictive Controller, is introduced for better performance. Then its performance is tested and analyzed with design guideline.

  • Many complex industrial processes cannot be satisfactorily controlled using the results of modern control theory, mainly because their precise structure is unknown. However this is often balanced by a considerable amount of operator's heuristic knowledges for the process which is difficult to quantify and utilize. Fuzzy set theory is a relatively new concept which allows this qualitativeness to be expressed rigorously and therefore in this paper modified PI type fuzzy logic controller is introduced and its usefulness for control is assessed.
