고속 전력선 통신용 옥내 저전압 전력선 임피던스 측정 및 특성 연구 (Investigation and measurement of indoor low voltage powerline impedance for high data rate powerline communications (PLC))

  • 전력선 통신의 매체인 전력선은 60Hz 전력 공급을 위해 설계되었기 때문에 고속 전력선 통신을 위한 1MHz∼30MHz 대역에서는 전력선은 전기적으로 많은 다른 특징을 갖는다. 따라서 고속 전력선 통신을 위해서는 전력선의 고주파 특성-감쇄 지연, 임피던스-등이 자세하게 분석되고 연구되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 고속 전력선 통신용 1MHz∼30MHz 주파수 대역 옥내저압 전력선 (220V) 임피던스를 측정하였다. 벡터 회로망 분석기와 저압 전력선 결합 장치(coupling unit)를 이용하여 임피던스를 측정하였다. 결합 장치를 T형 등가회로로 바꾸어, 전체 회로에서 얻은 산란계수를 이용하여 저압 전력선 임피던스를 구했다. 제안된 방법으로 표준 한국형 저층 연립 아파트에 대한 임피던스를 측정하고, 그 특성을 분석하였다. 또한 임피던스 정합을 위하여 평균 임피던스를 구하였고, 측정결과 평균 임피던스는 약 100Ω이었다.

Quality Characteristics of Frozen Stored Mungbean Starch Gels Added with Sucrose Fatty Acid Ester

  • This study was conducted to investigate the quality characteristics of frozen stored mungbean starch gels added with sucrose fatty acid ester (SE). The study showed a delay of gelatinization of mungbean starch by SE addition through the measurements conducted by using Rapid Visco Analyzer (RVA) and Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC). In the color of SE added frozen stored gels, lightness (L) and yellowness (b) values were increased compared to those of values measured from freshly prepared gel, whereas redness (a) value was decreased. The addition of 1% SE on mungbean starch gel prevented the color change during frozen storage. Rupture stress and rupture energy of frozen stored gel was higher than those of freshly prepared gel, whereas rupture strain of frozen stored gel was lower than that of freshly prepared gel. The addition of 1% SE on mungbean starch gel prevented the change of rupture characteristics during frozen storage. Texture profile analysis(TPA) characteristics revealed a significant change of the gel texture during frozen storage by showing an increase of hardness of the frozen stored gels compared to the freshly prepared gels with newly discovered fracturability, which resulted to show a large difference of gel texture by showing the disappearance of adhesiveness and large reduction of cohesivenes. The addition of 1% SE on mungbean starch gel prevented the change of TPA characteristics during frozen storage. Scanning electron micrographs showed that network structure of frozen stored gel was more rough than that of freshly prepared gel, and the addition of 1% SE on mungbean starch gel could suppress the breakdown of network structure. Thus the addition of 1.0% SE on mungbean starch gel was appropriate method for remaining gel characteristics during frozen storage.

공기흡입형 연기감지장치에 관한 연구 (The Study of Air Sampling Smoke Detector)

  • 공기조화설비가 설치된 감시공간에서의 화재 시 열$.$연기기류의 유동형상은 정상 유동해석과 다른 기류 유동형상을 나타내어 화재감지기의 응답특성지연 해결 및 연기감지농도를 향상, 화재초기에 경보를 발생하여 인명피해 및 재산피해를 최소화하기 위한 성능위주의 화재감지장치 개발을 위한 필요성에 의해 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구는 높은 연기응답특성을 가지며 공기순환에 의한 응답특성지연에 영향을 받지 않는 능동형태의 연기감지장치로서 감시공간의 공기를 공기흡입관을 통하여 연기농도 분석장치로 흡입하여 연기를 감지하는 공기흡입형 광전식 연기감지장치 개발에 필요한 연기농도 분석기술 및 공기흡입관을 통한 균등 공기흡입기술에 대하여 수행하였다. 연구결과, 공기흡입배관에 설치된 흡입구를 통한 공기흡입이 균등하게 이루어져 균일한 감도특성을 나타내어 공기순환에 의한 연기감지의 지연에 영향을 받지 않으며 연기감지성능은 수동형태의 연기감지기보다 우수한 응답특성을 나타내었다.

S-parameter의 변화를 유도하는 임피던스 변화 감지를 통한 전자회로의 결함검출회로 (The defect detection circuit of an electronic circuit through impedance change detection that induces a change in S-parameter)

  • 본 논문에서는 고장예측진단 및 건전성 관리 기법(Prognostics and Health Management, PHM)을 적용하기 위해 해당 시스템 혹은 회로 내부에서 결함특성을 감지하고 예측할 수 있는 회로 구조를 제안하였다. 기존 연구에서 회로 결함의 진행에 따라, S-parameter 크기 최소값의 주파수가 변화하는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 특성을 기존에는 네트워크 분석기(Network Analyzer)를 활용하여 측정하였으나, 본 연구에서는 같은 결함검출기법을 활용하더라도 큰 계측장비 없이 결함의 진행상황 및 잔여 수명, 결함발생 여부를 확인할 수 있는 소형화된 회로를 설계하였다. 본 연구에서는 S-parameter의 변화를 야기하는 임피던스의 변화를 감지할 수 있도록 회로를 설계하였으며, Bond-wire의 온도반복에 따른 S-parameter 변화 측정결과를 제안하는 회로에 적용하였다. 이를 통해 해당 회로가 Bond-wire의 결함을 감지할 수 있다는 것을 성공적으로 검증하였다.

HMM Based Part of Speech Tagging for Hadith Isnad

  • The Hadith is the second source of Islamic jurisprudence after Qur'an. Both sources are indispensable for muslims to practice Islam. All Ahadith are collected and are written. But most books of Hadith contain Ahadith that can be weak or rejected. So, quite a long time, scholars of Hadith have defined laws, rules and principles of Hadith to know the correct Hadith (Sahih) from the fair (Hassen) and weak (Dhaif). Unfortunately, the application of these rules, laws and principles is done manually by the specialists or students until now. The work presented in this paper is part of the automatic treatment of Hadith, and more specifically, it aims to automatically process the chain of narrators (Hadith Isnad) to find its different components and affect for each component its own tag using a statistical method: the Hidden Markov Models (HMM). This method is a power abstraction for times series data and a robust tool for representing probability distributions over sequences of observations. In this paper, we describe an important tool in the Hadith isnad processing: A chunker with HMM. The role of this tool is to decompose the chain of narrators (Isnad) and determine the tag of each part of Isnad (POI). First, we have compiled a tagset containing 13 tags. Then, we have used these tags to manually conceive a corpus of 100 chains of narrators from "Sahih Alboukhari" and we have extracted a lexicon from this corpus. This lexicon is a set of XML documents based on HPSG features and it contains the information of 134 narrators. After that, we have designed and implemented an analyzer based on HMM that permit to assign for each part of Isnad its proper tag and for each narrator its features. The system was tested on 2661 not duplicated Isnad from "Sahih Alboukhari". The obtained result achieved F-scores of 93%.

Analysis of Antenna Impact on Wide-band Indoor Radio Channel and Measurement Results at 1 GHz, 5.5 GHz, 10 GHz and 18 GHz

  • The object of this paper is to investigate the influence of antenna pattern on indoor radio channel characteristics. Different from previous works where this analysis was carried out at a fixed frequency using different antennas, in the present paper (where measurements were taken in a wide frequency range) the variation of the radiation pattern was caused by two factors: the change of the radiation pattern when the same antenna was used at different frequenicies and the use of different type of antennas. To carry out this analysis, frequency domain measurements of the indoor radio channel at 1 GHz, 5.5 GHz, 10 GHz and 18 GHz were collected. Measurements were taken using a network analyzer. Serveral re-alizations of the channel transfer function were obtained varying, for each measurement, the positon of the transmitter and keep-ing the receiver fixed. Estimate of the channel impulse response was obtained from the Inverse Fourier Transform (IFT) of the fre-quency response. The measurements were performed in an office enviroment with mostly metallic walls and inner separations. The obtained data were elaborated to obtain the power versus distance relationship, the Cummulative Distribution Functions(CDFs) of rms Delay Spread(DS) and of the 3 dB frequency correlation band-width. Finally, the 3 dB width of the frequency correlation func-tion has been empirically related to the inverse of the rms DS of the impulse response.

Textural Properties and Structures of Wheat and Maize Starch-Gum Mixed Gels During Storage

  • Effects of commercial and lab-generated gellan gums on the textural properties, structure, and aging of wheat and maize starch gels were investigated using a rapid visco-analyzer (RVA), rheometer, scanning electron microscope (SEM), and X-ray diffractometer. Gellan and guar gums increased the peak and final viscosities, but xanthan gum and gum arabic reduced them. The maize starch had higher breakdown viscosity than the wheat starch, regardless of the type of gum. The hardness of all starch gels increased during storage, but their cohesiveness and springiness decreased. The degree of the gel hardness showed higher in maize starch than in wheat starch and the effect of gum addition had a difference with gum type. The wheat starch-guar and -gellan gum mixed gels showed higher elasticity and cohesiveness after storage. The starch-gellan gum mixed gels had dense and stable network structures, and were well maintained even after 7 days of storage. Most of the gums had anti-aging effect on X-ray diffraction pattern of starch gels.

  • We developed internal and external type sensor to measure ultra-high frequency (UHF) partial discharge (PD) in 170 kV gas-insulated switchgears (GIS). We also manufactured a PD-generator to verify and measure the detection sensitivity of those sensors. We measured the output power of the UHF PD sensors induced by PDs of 5 pC using the PD-generator. We measured UHF propagation loss of an 170 kV GIS for optimal arrangement of the sensors. We used swept UHF signal from a network analyzer into the GIS to measure the loss of various components of the GIS.

  • 고주파 이동통신의 효용이 증가할수록 고주파 회로에 들어가는 부품들의 소형화가 중요한 과제로 대두되고 있다. 인덕터는 전자회로에 이용되는 주요 부품의 하나이며, 현재 교주파용 소형 인덕터를 박막화하려는 시도가 진행중이다. 본 연구에서 열산화시킨 Si(100)기판위에 성공적으로 박막형 인덕터를 제조하였다. Core 물질로는 ion beam sputtering 법으로 증착한 Ni-Zn 페라이트와 PECVD법으로 증착한 SiO2를 사용하였다. 고온산화분위기의 박막 증착과정을 고려하여 귀금속류인 Au를 전극으로 이용하였으며, life-off법으로 미세회로를 구현하였다. 상하부 전극의 안정적인 연결을 위하여 2차 전극배선 전에 via를 채워넣었다. 제조된 박막 인덕터의 고주파 특성은 network analyzer로 측정한 후 HP사의 Mecrowave Design System으로 분석하였다.

하이브리드 전도성 직조섬유의 전자파 차폐효과 (Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Effectiveness of Hybrid Conductive Fabrics)

  • This study investigated electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding effectiveness (SE) of hybrid conductive fabrics. The coaxial transmission line method was used to measure the EMI Shielding effectiveness of the conductive fabrics. We designed and constructed a measuring system, consisting of a network analyzer and a device that serves as a sample holder and at the same time as a transmission medium of incident electromagnetic waves. The measurements of SE were carried out in a frequency range from 100 MHz to 2 GHz. The results of the EMI shielding experiments showed that the maximum electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (EMSE) values of sandwich type C/A/C (carbon fiber sheet/aluminum foil tape/carbon fiber sheet) and C/Ni/C (carbon fiber sheet/magnetic shielding foil/carbon fiber sheet) samples were 55 dB and 113 dB, respectively, at a frequency of 1.9 GHz.
