A Study on On-line Recognition System of Korean Characters (온라인 한글자소 인식시스템의 구성에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper propose a Koaren character recognition system using a neural network is proposed. This system is a multilayer neural network based on the masking field model which consists of a input layer, four feature extraction layers which extracts type, direction, stroke, and connection features, and an output layer which gives us recognized character codes. First, 4x4 subpatterns of an NxN character pattern stored in the input buffer are applied into the feature extraction layers sequentially. Then, each of feature extraction layers extracts sequentially features such as type, direction, stroke, and connection, respectively. Type features for direction and connection are extracted by the type feature extraction layer, direction features for stroke by the direction feature extraction layer and stroke and connection features for stroke by the direction feature extraction layer and stroke and connection features for the recongnition of character by the stroke and the connection feature extractions layers, respectively. The stroke and connection features are saved in the sequential buffer layer sequentially and using these features the characters are recognized in the output layer. The recognition results of this system by tests with 8 single consonants and 6 single vowels are promising.

  • Currently, when the military performs military operations in wartime and peace time, it is important for him to obtain repeatedly updated traffic information for security of the military supply support. The purpose of this study is to present an acquisition way of the repeatedly updated traffic information which the military is available. To achieve this Purpose, firstly, this paper finded types of traffic information which the military demanded and limitations caused by an connection of traffic information network between the military and associated government agencies. Also. grasped ITS(Intelligent Transportation systems) equipment operation by associated government agencies (Ministry Construction & Transportation, Korea Highway Corporation, Seoul Metropolitan Government, National Police Agency, Korea Institute of Construction Technology) and connection situations of traffic information network among associated government agencies. On the basis of these materials, this study presented the most efficient connection method in the field of the space and the contents of traffic information between the military and associated government agencies and ITS connection system between the military and associated government agencies was contrived. Throughout the upper processes, this paper showed a method which is available for acquiring ITS traffic information of associated government agencies. In addition to the connection method of ITS traffic information network, resolutions for the problems caused by connection of ITS network were come up with. But the more deep study for this matter is needed since resolutions for the problems of the ITS network connection, which this paper presented, were very restricted.

  • As the size and complexity of network increase, Distributed Systems Management (DSM) will be significant issue within information network in order to increase the high reliability and to improve the flexibility of network management. The OSI management model has several problems. The key problems are that it does not fully address the problems of how to develop communication protocol in support of DSM, and how to classify the management connection criteria. In this paper, to solve first problem described above, this paper propose the connectionless CMIP(Common Management Information Protocol) to accomplish for effectively managing the distributed management system, and indicate its efficiency; this protocol is available to negotiate among the managing systems, handle the dynamic information. To work out second problem, we introduce the connection criteria in the hierarchy of management systems, and finally evaluate the efficiency of a suggested protocol during cooperative negotiation among the managing systems.

  • In this paper, an Evolving Neural Network Controller(ENNC) which its structure and its connection weights are optimized simultaneously by Real Variable Elitist Genetic Algoithm(RVEGA) was presented for stabilization of an Inverter Pendulum(IP) system with nonlinearity. This proposed ENNC was described by a simple genetic chromosome. And the deletion of neuron, the determinations of input or output neuron, the deleted neuron and the activation functions types are given according to the various flag types. Therefore, the connection weights, its structure and the neuron types in the given ENNC can be optimized by the proposed evolution strategy. Through the simulations, we showed that the finally acquired optimal ENNC was successfully applied to the stabilization control of an IP system.

  • The authentication system of high-speed internet in IP-infra is not warm enough to administration of systematic authentication information for user's legalization, connection right and resources allocation in order to both methods of authentication-unauthentication connection system according to transmission method . Also unauthentication connection raises a difficulty condition to user's needs satisfaction in order to a load weighting of system and network and a drop of transmission speed. Accordingly, this study brings forth authentication system construction in a high-speed IP infrastructure using spam sever able to construct the suitable network condition according to unifying authentication-unauthentication system for single authentication system.

  • In order for the connection to the wireless network from the list of priorities of the wireless AP to AP profile automatic connection by selecting the preferred method to register a profile, which is determined at the time of the change, the user does not respond to the demands of the part. In this study, the frequency of the user's access in accordance with the wireless AP, and by creating a profile, the user needs to meet with regard to network access adaptive research.

  • The general Wi-Fi network connection structure is that a number of IoT (Internet of Things) sensor nodes are directly connected to one AP (Access Point) node. In this structure, the range of the network that can be established within the specified specifications such as the range of signal strength (RSSI) to which the AP node can connect and the maximum connection capacity is limited. To overcome these limitations, multiple middleware bridge technologies for dynamic scalability and load balancing were studied. However, these network expansion technologies have difficulties in terms of the rules and conditions of AP nodes installed during the initial network deployment phase In this paper, an intelligent edge computing IoT device is developed for constructing an intelligent autonomous cluster edge computing network and applying it to real-time road danger context aware and notification system through an intelligent risk situation recognition algorithm.

  • The method proposed by the author is intended for assistance in decision-making (concerning changes of connections) by operators of complex distribution systems during states of malfunction (particularly in the events of malfunctions, for which the consequences encompass extended parts of the network), through designation of connection action scenarios (creating substitute configurations). It is the use by the classifying system working with the co-evolution algorithm that enables the effective creation of substitute scenarios for the Medium Voltage electric power distribution network. The author also completed works concerning the possibility of using cooperation of the evolutionary algorithm and the co-evolutionary algorithm with local search algorithms. The method drawn up may be used in current systems managing the work of distribution networks to assist network operators in taking decisions concerning connection actions in supervised electric power systems.

  • Bluetooth technology is essentially a method for wireless connectivity of a diverse set of devices ranging from PDAs, mobile phone, notebook computers, to another equipments, The bluetooth system both point-to point connection and point-to multipoint connection. In point-to multipoint connection, the channel is shared among several bluetooth devices. Two or more devices sharing the same channel form a piconet. There one master device and up to seven active slave devices in a piconet. The radio operates in the unlicensed 2.45GHz ISM band. This allows users who travel world-wide to use bluetooth equipments anywhere. Since the link is based on frequency-hop spread spectrum, multiple channels can exist at the same time. The bluetooth standard ha s been suggested that bluetooth equipments can be used in the short-range, maximum 100 meters. It has been defined that the time takes to setup and establish a bluetooth connection among devices is 10 seconds. It is a long time and may be a cause to lose a chance of finding other non-fixed devices. We propose a routing protocols for scatternets which can be used to control a mobile units(MUs) in this network. The proposed routing protocol is composed of two kinds of bluetooth information, access point(AP) and MU.
