Various types of social media make the people share their personal experience in different ways. In some social networking sites. Some users post their reviews, some users can support these reviews with comments, and some users just rate the reviews as kind of support or not. Unfortunately, there is rare explicit negative comments towards other reviews. This means if there is a link between two users, it must be positive link. Apparently, the negative link is invisible in these social network. Or in other word, the negative links are redundant to positive links. In this work, we first discuss the feature extraction from social media data and propose new method to compute the distance between each pair of comments or reviews on social media. Then we investigate whether we can predict negative links via regression analysis when only positive links are manifested from social media data. In particular, we provide a principled way to mathematically incorporate multi-facet data in a novel framework, Constructing Negative Links, CsNL to predict negative links for discovering the hidden information. Additionally, we investigate the ways of solution to general negative link predication problems with CsNL and its extension. Experiments are performed on real-world data and results show that negative links is predictable with multi-facet of social media data by the proposed framework CsNL. Essentially, high prediction accuracy suggests that negative links are redundant to positive links. Further experiments are performed to evaluate coefficients on different kernels. The results show that user generated content dominates the prediction performance of CsNL.
In this paper, we obtain a simple lower bound for the number of positive (resp. negative) crossings in oriented link diagrams in terms of the maximal (resp. minimal) degree of the Jones polynomial.
At the high speed operation, the boost negative bias can reduce the negative torque and increase the dwell angle, so the output power and efficiency can be improved. In this paper, a novel power converter for single phase SRM with boost negative bias is proposed. A simple passive capacitor circuit is added in the front-end, which consists of three diodes and one capacitor. Based on this passive capacitor network, the two capacitors can be connected in series and parallel in different condition. In proposed converter, the phase winding of SRM obtains general dc-link voltage in excitation mode and the double dc-link voltage in demagnetization mode. The operation modes of the proposed converter are analyzed in detail. Some computer simulation and experimental results are done to verify the performance of proposed converter.

The forces acting on tractor three-point linkage were analyzed including the rear cover action of a rotary tiller which is ignored usually. The relation of link force and tillage resistance is expressed as a linear form. The link forces vary with tilling torque from negative force to positive in the free-link, though in the fixed-link they increase without change of force sign. The effects of the rear cover resistance appeared in the link forces in the fixed-link.

This paper describes a stability and dynamic characteristics of bearingless helicopter main rotor in hover. Baseline rotor configuration is defined and modal analysis for the configuration is taken to verify the dynamic characteristics. The kinematic pitch-lag couplings through ways of pitch link installation are analyzed to know effects on loads, frequencies and stability. The effects of pitch link attachments in spanwise direction and chordwise direction as well as pitch link inclination on thrust, power, flpa-lag-pitch mode frequencies and inplane damping are examined. Pitch link at trailing edge location in chordwise direction has influence on aeroelastic stability of the rotor. Also, the pitch link with negative inclination angle makes inplane damping increase.

This paper proposes a power feedforward technique for the performance improvement of DC-link voltage control in the dynamic voltage restorer (DVR). The DC-link Voltage is able to be unstable for an instant owing to any change in the load and voltage sag. The distortion of the DC-link voltage leads to the negative influence on the performance of DVR. To mitigate the distortion of the DC-link voltage, the power feedforward component is calculated by the load power and the grid voltage, and then it is added to the reference current of the conventional DC-link voltage controller. By including output power feedforward component on the DC-link controller, the DC-link voltage can settle down more quickly than when the conventional DC-link voltage controller applied. The proposed technique was validated through the simulation and experimental results.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate a role of self-compassion in conflict resolution strategies among dating couples. Further, we examined conflict resolution strategies as mechanisms to explain in the relationship between self-compassion and relationship satisfaction. Method: Two hundred forty two dating couples were recruited. Actor and Partner Independence Model(APIM) was used to examine actor and partner effects of self-compassion on relationship satisfaction as well as conflict resolution strategies. The total of 4 APIMs, two positive conflict resolution strategies(i.e., positive emotional reactions, active coping) and two negative conflict resolution strategies(i.e., negative emotional reactions and hostility, avoidance) were analyzed. Positive conflict resolution strategies had only actor effect in the link between self-compassion and relationship satisfaction. That is, self-compassionate men and women were more likely to use positive conflict resolution strategies and, in turn, led to their higher relationship satisfaction. Both actor and partner effects were found in the negative conflict resolution strategy models. In terms of actor effect self-compassionate men and women were less likely to use negative conflict resolution strategies and that, in turn, led to their higher relationship satisfaction. In terms of partner effects we found that women's negative emotional reactions and hostility mediated the link between women's self-compassion and their male partners' relationship satisfaction. Men's avoidance mediated the link between men's self-compassion and their female partners' relationship satisfaction.
This study deals with the traffic accident of the Cheongju arterial link sections. The purpose of the study is to develop the traffic accident model. In pursuing the above, this study gives particular attentions to developing the ZAM(zero-altered model) model using the accident data of arterial roads devided by 322 small link sections. The main results analyzed by ZIP(zero inflated Poisson model) and ZINB(zero inflated negative binomial model) which are the methods of ZAM, are as follows. First, the evaluation of various developed models by the Vuong statistic and t statistic for overdispersion parameter ${\alpha}$ shows that ZINB is analyzed to be optimal among Poisson, NB, ZIP(zero-inflated Poisson) and ZINB regression models. Second, ZINB is evaluated to be statistically significant in view of t, ${\rho}$ and ${\rho}^2$ (0.63) values compared to other models. Finally, the accident factors of ZINB models are developed to be the traffic volume(ADT), number of entry/exit and length of median. The traffic volume(ADT) and the number of entry/exit are evaluated to be the '+' factors and the length of median to be '-' factor of the accident.

In some buildings, the lateral structural response of steel framed buildings depends on the shear walls and it is very important to study the behavior of these elements under near-field seismic loads. The link beam in the opening of the shear wall between two wall plates is investigated numerically in terms of behavior and effects on frames. Based on the length of the beam and its bending and shear behavior, three types of models are constructed and analyzed, and the behavior of the frames is also compared. The results show that by reducing the length of the link beam, the base shear forces reduce about 20%. The changes in the length of the link beam have different effects on the degree of coupling. Increasing the length of the link beam increases the base shear about 15%. Also, it has both, a positive and a negative effect on the degree of coupling. The increasing strength of the coupling steel shear wall is linearly related to the yield stress of the beam materials, length, and flexural stiffness of the beam. The use of a shorter link beam will increase the additional strength and consequently improving the behavior of the coupling steel shear wall by reducing the stresses in this element. The link beam with large moment of inertia will also increase about 25% the additional strength and as a result the coefficient of behavior of the shear wall.
