In this paper, a novel method called location-based delivery (LBD), which combines the short message service (SMS) and global position system (GPS), is proposed, and further, a realistic system for tracking a target's movement is developed. LBD reduces the number of short message transmissions while maintaining the location tracking accuracy within the acceptable range. The proposed approach, LBD, consists of three primary features: Short message format, location prediction, and dynamic threshold. The defined short message format is proprietary. Location prediction is performed by using the current location, moving speed, and bearing of the target to predict its next location. When the distance between the predicted location and the actual location exceeds a certain threshold, the target transmits a short message to the tracker to update its current location. The threshold is dynamically adjusted to maintain the location tracking accuracy and the number of short messages on the basis of the moving speed of the target. The experimental results show that LBD, indeed, outperforms other methods because it satisfactorily maintains the location tracking accuracy with relatively fewer messages.

2015년부터 우편번호를 대체하는 국가기초구역번호를 기반으로, 기존 읍면동 구분을 국가기초구역으로 대체하여 도서관에서 지역분포 분석 서비스를 제공하는 방안을 모색하였다. 기존에 제공하던 법정동 기준의 지역 구분은 균일한 크기의 지역 구분이 쉽지 않아 이를 행정동 기준으로 전환하고, 이 경계를 바탕으로 국가기초구역에 최대한 일치하도록 구역을 설정하여 기존 읍면동 체제와 크게 어긋나지 않으면서 새로운 국가기초구역제도를 조기에 활용할 수 있도록 하였다.

As numerous security breaches on a variety of information assets such as personal information, corporate secrets, computer servers, and networks have occurred, information security has emerged as a critical social issue. However, researches on economically rational information security decision-making have been few. Such researches are especially rare in South Korea where information security is considered to be a discipline of engineers. This study aims to identify the preferred themes and methodologies of information security economics research in the field of information systems by reviewing papers published in Management Information Systems Quarterly (MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR), European Journal of Information Systems (EJIS), Management Science (MS), and Information and Management (I&M). We hope that the results of the study will be helpful in rational managerial or policy decision-making for practitioners and suggest future research topics for researchers.

In this paper, we implement a spatial data management system which is based on GIS technology. GIS technology is tightly related with spatial information and will be important method for future information-oriented society. The implemented system collects and manages spatial data. In the implementation, we use PostgreSQL DBMS. We also implement magnification, reduction, movement and search functions in the system.

This study looks for the service factors influencing to conversion among the domestic telecommunication companies and finds out the effect which the switching benefit affect the customer satisfaction and the switching intention. Eight service factors of the telecommunication company such as usability, call quality, terminal quality, auxiliary service, rates, after service, application and brand image are selected and verified using the structural equation model. Auxiliary service, rates and brand image give positive (+) effects to the customer's satisfaction, but the application gives negative (-) effects to the customer's satisfaction. Switching benefit affects significantly to the switching intention, but not to the customer satisfaction. The customer satisfaction gives a positive effect to the switching intention. The telecommunication service factors influence to customer satisfaction and switching intention, and switching benefit also influences to switching intention. It was analyzed that the significant influencing service factors were a little different among the telecommunication companies.

The continuous evolution and proliferation of computer technology and our increasing dependence on computer technology have created a new class of threats: "cyber threats." These threats can be defined as activities that can undermine a society's ability to maintain internal or external order while using information technology. Cyber threats can be mainly divided into two categories, namely cyber-terrorism and cyber-warfare. A variety of malware programs are often used as a primary weapon in these cyber threats. A significant amount of research work has been published covering different aspects of cyber threats, their countermeasures, and the policy-making for cyber laws. This article aims to review the research conducted in various important aspects of cyber threats and provides synthesized information regarding the fundamentals of cyber threats; discusses the countermeasures for such threats; provides relevant details of high-profile cyber-attacks; discusses the developments in global policy-making for cyber laws, and lastly presents promising future directions in this area.

The web 2.0 is leading a rapid change of internet services. The UCC(User Created Contents) service is one of the representative internet services with web 2.0 paradigm. In this paper, we design and implement the UCC services prototype system for image and video. The proposed system does not need to install ActiveX and client programs on devices of users to edit their contents. All processes for editing UCC are conducted on the server. Our proposed system consists of the two components such as the multimedia editing subsystem and the metadata management system. They provide the API to UCC service developers or vendors. The multimedia editing subsystem supports editing for image and video, and the streaming services of video. The metadata management subsystem supports the metadata management and retrieval of image and video.

국가 R&D 과제관리 분야 관련기관들은 최근 다양한 산업기술정보, 연구동향정보의 수집과 분석, 새로운 정보시스템의 개발을 필요로 한다. 또한, 보유정보의 유효성 확대와 수요자 중심의 다양한 정보서비스 개발 등 효율적인 정보제공을 위하여 지속적인 투자 및 발전을 도모하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지역의 균형발전을 위하여 추진 중인 지역 R&D를 통합 관리하고자 추진 중인 지역산업정보망 구축현황을 분석하고 지역산업 사업관리(개발지원 및 성과관리) 방법을 제시하고 실행함으로써 보다 효율적인 정보관리체계를 운영할 수 있도록 기여하는데 그 목적이 있다.
