This study aims to investigate laws and standards(including technical guidelines) related to safety criteria for 22 kitchen machines frequently used in commercial kitchens. The study was based on literature survey, interviews with charge persons in kitchen machines manufacturing companies, cafeteria providing group meals and relevant association, and web surfing. The results showed that there are two types of safety criteria such as legally forced ones by laws and optional ones by national industrial standards or technical guidelines. High pressure safety control act, safety control and business of liquefied petroleum gas act and city gas business act prescribed gas use apparatus safety criteria, rational energy utilization act did those of pressure vessel such large rotary caldron, industrial health and safety act did those of food processing machinery, and electrical appliances safety control act did those of electrical kitchen appliances. Compulsory or optional standards or guidelines related to safety criteria for kitchen machines were presented by 22 kitchen machines. Safety devices shown in the laws, standards and guidelines were also summarized by kitchen machines and their risk factors.

Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to build up guidelines for preventing constipation in the Korean elderly based on the National Guideline $Clearinghouse^{TM}$ Guideline. Method: The process is composed of four steps: first. the composition of an expert group; second, the evaluation by the expert group about the appropriateness and applicability of each recommendation in the guideline; third, systematic literature review for evidence searching; and fourth. the formation of guidelines for Preventing constipation in the Korean elderly according to experts' opinions and literature review. Result: The appropriateness and applicability of each recommendation showed high scores, but the score of applicability was lower than that of appropriateness. The reasons for lower score of applicability were lack of cognition on the importance of constipation management and lack of recent information and evidence-based knowledge on constipation. There were some inadequate recommendations in Korean clinical setting. So the modified and replaced recommendations were added to the guidelines for preventing constipation in the old adult population to improve the applicability in Korea. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used as fundamental baseline data for future study to develope guidelines for management of constipation in the elderly and will be adapted locally for Korean clinical setting.

Purpose: Recently an experience in the MERS crisis focused on the importance of infection control in hospitals. According to Korean National healthcare-associated Infection Surveillance System (KONIS) of the KSICP, a great number of 498 people, 841 people, and 1021 people were infected by pneumonia, urinary tract infection, and bacteremia respectively from 94 hospital ICUs during the year of 2014. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the configuration and design guidelines for the ICU rooms to minimize the nosocominal infections. Methods: Based on the several infection control guidelines and revised Medical Law, consequent analyses which classified the planning and operational behavior in the ICUs of seven hospitals, were performed to reduce the cross-infection. Results: The results of this study are offering a space, configuration and design guidelines for effective infection control in the intensive care units through the unit-bed area, the bed-to-bed distance, the isolation room, etc. Implications: It is expected that this study propose the direction of architectural planning and guideline for the ICU room in order to realize the intension of revised Medical Law.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the data from public information disclosure about pre-hospital advanced airway management and identify the problem by considering domestic laws and guidelines. Methods: Data were collected between 2017 and 2018 and analyzed using SPSS 25.0. Then, the problems of the analysis results based on the relevant laws and practical guidelines were reviewed. Results: The review of domestic laws and practice guidelines revealed that ambulance nurses can implement supraglottic airway device only under the following three conditions: ① smart advanced life support pilot project area, ② trained to insert I-Gel, and ③ member of a special ambulance. In total, 21,574 cases of advanced airway management (endotracheal intubation: 2,428, I-Gel: 18,502, LMA : 499, KING AIRWAY: 144) were reported. In many cases, advanced airway management was performed by ambulance nurses who did not meet the above conditions, which was in violation of laws and guidelines. In addition, the prognosis of intubated patients was not followed up. Conclusion: The Korea National Fire Agency must stop all unlicensed medical practice by untrained, uneducated, and uncertified nurses and demand quality control programs for intubated patients.

The analog typed interface of main control room in nuclear power plant(NPP) is gradually being replaced to the one suitable for the digital environment. SKN 3,4 is currently developed in such a way to employ digitalized displays and controls such as computerized procedure system(CPS), large display panel(LDP), and Soft control. The main control room (MCR) of the SKN3, 4 was designed based on the human factors guidelines, which somehow lack of the confidence for the rapidly the developed guidelines needs to extend to the one to apply for the total digital environment including task environment, hardware and workstation. In order to achieve the research objectives, tremendous guidelines and technical papers related to evaluation issues of digital environment has been collected, analyzed and transformed to electric database forms and then built on database management system to retrieve the appropriate isues for the practical usage of evaluators-in-field.

Currently with the continuous development of ceramic and cementation materials, CAD-CAM(Computer-aided design/Computer-aided manufacture) restorations are becoming increasingly popular in esthetic dentistry. Preparation design is influenced by the selected restorative material, the fabrication method, and the ability to bond the restoration. For long-lasting CAD/CAM inlay/onlay restoration, clinicians should understand the basic knowledge of CAD/CAM restoration's cavity design to obtain the fracture resistance and proper fitting margin. This article gives an overview of preparation guidelines for CAD/CAM inlay/onlay restorations.

Objectives: This study reviews literature on health literacy and provides communication guidelines and policy implications for addressing health literacy for the Korean population. Methods: EBSCOHost, JSTOR, ProQuest, Web of Science, and PubMed were searched using the term "health literacy." The present study also reviewed reports and publications released by governments and healthcare agencies. Results: By reviewing existing articles and reports, the present study provides following suggestions : (a) implementation of a national health literacy survey on a regular basis, (b) development of tailored health literacy interventions for different target segments, (C) development of an appropriate model to evaluate the effectiveness of health literacy programs, and (d) development of health literacy guidelines for distributing health information and educating healthcare professionals. Conclusions: Health literacy issues must be addressed through establishment of appropriate policies and guidelines as well as collaboration between government and healthcare organizations.

The gesture 'Flick' is the most fundamental and important part for efficient interactions in the touch screen that are being extensively applied to mobile phones. This study investigated users' satisfaction of the flick operation in representative touch phones, and measured their performances with established three measures: gap between finger and initial cursor, the number of moved lists per 0.2 seconds, and the number of moved lists after ten continuous flicks. The measurement was performed with high speed camera and motion analysis software. The flick movement in mobile phone with high users' satisfaction showed that the gap between finger and cursor positions was less and the speed reached high within 0.6 seconds quickly and then was drastically slow down. Especially, maximal and common time intervals between continuous flicks were measured with an experiment. Based on the evaluation and measurement, several design guidelines for efficient flick performances were suggested.

The purpose of this study is to compare the standards and guidelines of long-term care facilities based on the physical environments and human resources in Korea, Japan, USA, and Australia. Ultimately, this study suggests the directions for amendments of long-term care service or running of the facilities in Korea. For achieving this purpose, we reviewed the homepage of national health departments, reports and articles of long-term care service, and acts related with long-term care in each country. This comparisons were carried in terms of physical environments, human resources by long-term care related acts and legal sanctions as means of quality control. This study implies that long-term care service guidelines or standards should be revised for developing the quality of our long-term care services.

This study makes an evaluation whether compliance on the web accessibility of domestic broadcasters site is observed to some degree. The compliance rate is estimated by six guidelines provided in KWA-H 4.0 automatically assessed tool. While the compliance rate of the broadcaster web accessibility is the highest in 'open new window' by 80.2% among six guidelines, the item of 'markup error prevention' demonstrated the lowest level by 36.2%.
