  • We previously developed and presented the 3D ion implantation simulation code, TRICSI. In this paper, we performed the multiple implants into (100) silicon substrate with our recently enhanced version. Our results for the multiple implants were compared with the previously published SIMS data and obtained the good agreements. In this paper the channeling behaviour of implanted impurity and the damage accumulation are analyzed and discussed in the simple 3D structure, named the Hole structure which has a rectangular implant window.

  • In the course of continous work on tubers of Gastrodia elata, a new constituent was isolated from the ethyl acetate soluble fraction prepared from the methanol extract. The structure of the compound was identified as ${\alpha},{\alpha}'-[bis-2-(5-carboxaldehydo)furanyl]-dimethyl$ ether from the elemental analytical and spectroscopic data. This compound was once isolated from Cirsium chlorolepis and named as cirsiumaldehyde. This is the first furan type compound isolated from Gastrodia elata.

  • An optical device, named "T-MES", to measure the accuracy of printed scale of measuring tapes was developed. It has 11 optical sensors, that are exactly positioned every 100 mm on the 1 m frame. The sensors detect the beginning of the printed part and generate the puleses. The time difference between each signal pulse and the first sensor signal pulse is proportional to the error of printed scale. The measured data are trasmitted through a IEEE-488 interface to a IBM-AT computer and analyzed. The analysis software continuously displays the measured result on the CRT.n the CRT.

  • When ions move in the air under an electric field, momentum is transferred from ions to neighboring particles. The wind is raised therefore, if the ion-flow is dominant in one direction. Using this mechanism, authors developed a fan which has no moving parts, and named it EHD AIR MOVER. This paper describes its theory with experimental results. Air velocity of 450ft/min is obtained by the ion current of 5*10$\^$-6/A/cm$\^$2/. Comparison of the theoretical calculation with the experimental data shows satisfactory agreement.

  • Time series data on the size of Chonsei deposit has been estimated. At the end of 1997, that size has been estimated as 112 trillion Korean Won. If the Chonsei system can be moved toward the monthly rental system, it is highly probable to achieve the Pareto imporvement whether there are uncertainties or not. The new system named as the Chonsei system without the Chonsei deposite has been suggested, which can be readily to be introduced. Under this system, the owner can sustain opportunitities of using Chonsei deposit, renters can rent houses whithout the Chonsei deposity and financial intermediaries can secure safe sources of loans, which will increase BIS capital ratio of banks.

  • To design the acceptable prejusted bracket for Korean using straight wire appliance, teeth and dental arch of Korean were studied and brackets were made. It was named Oriental Bracket. The results were following. 1. The bracket position for Korean occlusion was obtained. 2. The axial inclinations of each tooth were obtained. 3. The crown torques of each tooth were obtained. 4. The thickness of each tooth was obtained. 5. The bracket (Oriental bracket) was made according to these data.

After ward, it is convinced that spreaded to China continent, Korean peninsula md Japan. I have published a book named "Jang it′s History Culture and Industry" in 1999. in which illustrated the history of soysauce, but I cannot explain the details of history of Japanese soysauce because of deficiency of the data, so I hope a complement. Let me report a translation of KAWATA′s study, in here

  • A data allocation technique is essential to improve the performance of data broadcast systems. This paper explores the issues for allocating data items on broadcast channels in the environment where multiple-data queries are submitted, and proposes a new data allocation scheme named DAMA. The proposed scheme employs the strategy that the broadcast frequency of each data is determined by the moving average of its access probability. DAMA could enhance the performance of query response time since it is capable of controlling the influence of access probability properly according to the query size. Simulation is performed to evaluate the performance of the proposed scheme. The simulation results show that the performance of DAMA is superior to other schemes in terms of the average response time.

  • A retrospective observational study is one of the most widely used research methods in medicine. However, evidence postulated from a single data source likely contains biases such as selection bias, information bias, and confounding bias. Acquiring enough data from multiple institutions is one of the most effective methods to overcome the limitations. However, acquiring data from multiple institutions from many countries requires enormous effort because of financial, technical, ethical, and legal issues as well as standardization of data structure and semantics. The Observational Health Data Sciences and Informatics (OHDSI) research network standardized 928 million unique records or 12% of the world's population into a common structure and meaning and established a research network of 453 data partners from 41 countries around the world. OHDSI is a distributed research network wherein researchers do not own or directly share data but only analyzed results. However, sharing evidence without sharing data is difficult to understand. In this review, we will look at the basic principles of OHDSI, common data model, distributed research networks, and some representative studies in the cardiovascular field using the network. This paper also briefly introduces a Korean distributed research network named FeederNet.
