Springback comes from the release of external loads after forming. The control of phenomenon is especially important in the sheet metal forming since there are no other practical methods available to correct the dimensional inaccuracy from springback. Therefore the accurate prediction before the die machining has been a long goal in the field of sheet metal forming. The am of the present study is to enhance the prediction capability of finite element (FE) analysis for the springback phenomenon. For this purpose FE analysis for V-bending has been carried out with the commercial programs, LS-DYNA. The FE analysis results have been validated through the comparison of experimental. The experimental results measured directly by the strain gauge have given the confidence to FEA.
In this study we have calculated an ideal complex refractive index of a TiN trim used in a layer of anl1reilecnon (I\R) coatmg, [air$ISiO_2ITiNIglass$] in the visible. Also we simulated the rellectance of lwo-layer AR coating by varying the thicknesses of TiN and $SiO_2$ layers, respecl1vely. The simolation results show that we can controllhe lowest reflectance and AR band of tile AR coating. The TIN fihns were fabricated by a RF magnetron sputtering apparalus. The chemical, structural and electrical properties of TiN fih11S were inveshgated by the Rutherford backscattering spech'oscopy (RBS), atomic force microscope (AFM) and 4-point probe. The optical properlies were inve, tigated by the spectrophotometer and vanable angle spectroscopic ellipsometer (VASE). The smface roughness of TiN flhns \vas $9~10\AA$. TIle resistivity of TiN films was TEX>$360~730\mu$\Omega $ cm. The ,toichlOllletry of TiN film was 1'1: O:N = I: 0.65 :0.95 and ilic oxygen wa~ found on ilie smface. With these experimental and simu]al1on resulLs, we deposited duo: two-layer AR coating, [air$ISiO_2ITiNIglass$] and the refleClance was under 0.5% ill the regIOn of 440-650 run. 0 run.
Objective: The objective of this study was to compare maxillary soft tissue changes and their relative ratios to hard tissue changes after anterior segmental osteotomy (ASO)/bilateral sagittal split ramus osteotomy (BSSRO) and Le Fort I/BSSRO in skeletal Class III malocclusion with upper lip protrusion. Methods: The study sample comprised the ASO/BSSRO group (n = 14) and the Le Fort I/BSSRO group (n = 15). The Le Fort I/BSSRO group included cases of maxillary posterior impaction only. Lateral cephalograms were taken 2 months before and 6 months after surgery. Linear and angular measurements were performed. Results: The anterior maxilla moved backward in both groups after surgery, however the amount of change was significantly larger in the ASO/BSSRO group (p < 0.01). The ratios of hard to soft tissue change were 79% (SLS to A point), 80% (LS to A point) in the ASO/BSSRO group, and 15% (SLS to A point), 68% (LS to A point) in the Le fort I/BSSRO group. In addition, there was a $3.23^{\circ}$ increase of the occlusal plane in the Le Fort I/BSSRO group. Conclusions: When two-jaw surgery is indicated in skeletal Class III patients with protrusive lips, ASO may be a treatment of choice for cases with more severe upper lip protrusion, while Le Fort I with posterior impaction may be considered if an increase of occlusal plane angle is required.
Cephalometric radiographs, frontal photographs and profile silhouette phogographs of 68 young adult female who were model or were recommended to have esthetic face were used in this study. 7 Students in department of Art of Kyungpook national university and 15 orthodontists estimated profile slides which were made of 3 Profile silhouettes in parallel with FH plane. Profile silhouettes were made of soft tissue profile line of cephalometric radiograph. Only orthodontists estimated frontal photographs. Students and orthodontists score 9 in excellent case, score 7 in good case, score 5 in average case, score 3 in poor case. Correlation analysis between orthodontists' esthetic concept and Artists' esthetic concept, between frontal view esthetics and profile view esthetics which estimated by orthotontists, between profile view esthetics and profile measurements which consisted of measurements of 38 female who were scored above 5 mean score in profile silhouette by orthodontists were done. And the finding in this study indicated the following 1. Correlation between orthodontists' esthetic concept and Artists' esthetic concept in profile silhouette was significant (r=0.67,P=0.0001). 2. Correlation between frontal view esthetics and profile view esthetics which estimated by orthodontist was significant (r=0.26,P=0.0381). 3. Measurements which had significant correlation between profile measurements and profile view esthetics wer Na-Pog, to N', BNV to Pog', BNV/B' -Pog', Ls-Li-Pog', Li-B'-Pog' Z angle(P<0.05). 4 Mean and standard deviation of profile measurements of 38 female were obtained.
The purpose of this study was to compare four groups of Oriental young adults (169 males and 174 females) with normal occlusion and well balanced faced. Lateral cephalograms of 100 Koreans, 100 Chinese, 72 Vietnamese and 71 Japanese were digitized and six profile measures were computed. Analyses of variance showed that total facial profile(Gl'-Pr'-Pg') of Chinese was significantly less convex than the profile of Koreans or Vietnamese. Facial profile(Gl'-Pr'-Pg') of Chinese was also significantly less convex than that of Vietnamese. Holdaway's soft tissue angle(Pg'-LS:N-B) was significantly greater in Vietnamese than Chinese and Koreans, who were in turn greater than Japanese. The upper lip of Vietnamese is significantly closer to Ricketts' esthetic plane, than Chinese; Koreans and Japanese are significantly further behind the plane than Chinese. The lower lip of Koreans and Japanese was close to the esthetic plane, while Chinese and Vietnamese were approximately 2mm ahead. The nasolabial angle was significantly smaller for Chinese and Japanese than Koreans and Vietnamese. Sex differences were primarily dependent on the nose; total facial convexity and the nasolabial angle wert significantly larger in females than males. The results of this study demonstrate that a single standard of facial Profile is not sufficient or appropriate for Oriental patients.

This study was designed to assess the water quality and phytoplankton community including chlorophyll a in blood cockle (Tegillarca granosa) farms in May, August and November of 2017 in the northwestern Yeoja Bay, Korea. As a result, the seasonal characteristics of water types by water temperature and salinity were clear. Nutrients were abundant in silicate throughout the season, but phosphate was scarce in spring and summer, and nitrogen sources were scarce in autumn. The species composition of phytoplankton community was a very simple distribution, and the standing crop was also very low. The annual dominant species is dominated by the diatoms, with Skeletonema costatum-ls, Nitzschia longissima in spring, Pleurrosigma normanii, Coscinodiscus gigas in summer, and N. longissima, Pseudonitschia pungens, Chaetoceros curvisetus, Eucampia zodiacus in autumn. In summer the results were different from other coastal waters of Korea. The principal component analysis(PCA) and correlation analysis showed that the characteristics of water quality and biological environments differed according to the season. Furthermore, it was determined by the supply of materials through fresh water on land, seawater congestion caused by the refueling of surface sediments with lower depth, and the balance of biological production and mineralization of organic matters in blood cockle farms.
The synthesis and crystallization of amorphous calcium carbonate($CaCO_3$.$nH_2 O$) obtained from gas-liquid reaction between aqueous solution of calcium hydroxide and carbon dioxide at 15~$50^{\circ}C$ are investigated by electrical conductometry, XRD and TEM. The results are as follows: The initial reaction products prior to the formation of precipitated calcium carbonate is amorphous calcium carbonate. The electrical conductivity values in the slurry are decreased during the formation of amorphous calcium carbonate which covers particle surface of calcium hydroxide and retard the dissolution of calcium hydroxide into the solution. that amorphous calcium carbonate is unstable in the aqueous solution and crystallizes finally to calcite by the through-solution reaction. While amorphous calcium carbonate crystallizes into chain-like calcite, the conductivity values are recovered rapidly and the apparent viscosity of slurry containing higher concentration of calcium hydroxide increase. At below pH 9.5, chain-like calcite separates into individual particles to form precipitated calcium carbonate. The formation and synthetic temperature range of amorphous calcium carbonate is most suitable a primary decreasing step(a-step) at $15^{\circ}C$ in the electrical conductometry.
The effect of sodium hydroxide treatment on some physicochemical properties of zeolite mordenite mineral was studied with chemical analyses, powder X-ray diffraction, thermal analyses, infrared analysis, measurement of carbon dioxide adsorption and gas chromatography. Mordenite mineral from tuffaceous rocks in Yeongil and Wolsung area was used as a starting material and treated with 0.1-5N NaOH aqueous solution at about $95^{\circ}C$ in the water bath for three hours. At the concentration of sodium hydroxide below 0.5N, all chemical compositions in the tuff were virtually insoluble and the mordenite structure did not change. At the concentration above 1N, the chemical compositions such as silica, alumina, etc., were dissolved. The dissolution ratio of silica was lager than that of alumina, and the ratio of silica to alumina in the tuff decreased sharply in the concentration range of 2 to 3N. Intensity of X-ray diffraction peak of mordenite (202) plane and the adsorbed amount of carbon dioxide also decreased with the increasing concentration of sodium hydroxide above 1N. These decreases corresponded to the degree of mordenite structure collapsed. The separation of gas chromatography of nitrogen, oxygen and carbon monoxide was not affected by the sodium hydroxide treatment, but elution peaks of methane and krypton tended to be broadened and their retention time was shortened. The elution peaks of both methane and krypton tended to be overlapped with those of nitrogen and oxygen.
The use of superelastic shape memory alloys (SMAs) as reinforcements in concrete structures is gradually gaining interest among researchers. Because of different mechanical properties of SMAs compared to the regular steel bars, the use of SMAs as reinforcement in the concrete may change the response of structures under seismic loads. In this study, the effect of SMAs as reinforcement in concrete structures is analytically investigated for 3-, 6- and 8-story reinforced concrete (RC) buildings. For each concrete building, three different reinforcement details are considered: (1) steel reinforcement (Steel) only, (2) SMA bar used in the plastic hinge region of the beams and steel bar in other regions (Steel-SMA), and (3), beams fully reinforced with SMA bar (SMA) and steel bar in other regions. For each case, columns are reinforced with steel bar. Incremental Dynamic Analyses (IDA) are performed using ten different ground motion records to determine the seismic performance of Steel, Steel-SMA and SMA RC buildings. Then fragility curves for each type of RC building by using IDA results for IO, LS and CP performance levels are calculated. Results obtained from the analyses indicate that 3-story frames have approximately the same spectral acceleration corresponding with failure of frames, but in the cases of 6 and 8-story frames, the spectral acceleration is higher in frames equipped with steel reinforcements. Furthermore, the probability of fragility in all frames increases by the building height for all performance levels. Finally, economic evaluation of the three systems are compared.

Up to this date, numerous methods of analysis of electroplating solutions are published. Some, however, need lots of works before reaching final results, or require high technique and special instruments, and also some are unaccurate due to unclearnes of end point. Like our undevelope countries, technicians of electoplating shops are most high school gradutes or under, and have not much knowledge on chemistry. Furthermore, those technicians have to control their plating solutions by themselves without having enough analytical laboratory equiIJment. Therefore, in this paper the simplest, besides accurate method is investigated after comparing nu.merous methods published. Among the methods of 'copper determinations from acid and alkaline copper plating baths, EDT A titration method are chosen, due to these methods are the simplest and fastest for the evaluation of metal content, without requiring any special instrument. For acid copper solutions, chelate titrations were accurate enough. Since the end point of titration of chelate method is variable according to the kind of .indicators androther metal's coexsistence as well as solution comIJonent, many difficulties were encountered from cyanide' copper, on the contrary of acid copper bath. PAN, PV, and MX indicators were tried, but it is found that MX is the best. In cyanide solution, due to cyanide is the masking reagent, elimination of this component is essential, and finally found that elimination eN- by precipitation with AgN03 solution was the simplest and the most accurate way among others. This method was very accurate for the new plating solutions even coexistence with organic brightners. However used solutions for long months running have to be predetermined the accurate copper value by thiosulfate method from time to time, before chelate titration by means of AgN03 precipitation. Always some constant deviatioJ;ls will be seen according to the solutions nature. Therefore those deviation values have to be compensated each time.
