한국산 육산 달팽이 5 신종 및 3 신아종 (New Land Snails in Korea)

  • Authors describe here five new species and three new subspecies of Korean Iand snail fauna. They are collected from the southern part of Korea including Ullungdo and Chejudo. The generic names of these new species and subspecies were discribed in the [ Il-lustrated Encyclopedia of fauna & flora of Korea V ol.32 Mollusca(I)]. The newly recorded species and subspecies are as follows:Genus Diplommatina Benson, 1849 Subgenus Sinica Mollendorff, 1885 Diplommatina(Sinica) paxillus changensis n. subsp. 삼음교 지압에 따른 산부의 제왕절개율 차이 (Differences of Cesarean Section Rates according to San-Yin-Jiao(SP6) Acupressure for Women in Labor)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explain differences of cesarean section rates according to San- Yin-Jiao(SP6) acupressure for women in labor. Method: A noneqivalent control group pre test - post test design was used to explain differences of cesarean section rates according to SP6 acupressure. The participants were 209 women who were assigned to one of three groups SP6 acupressure(n=86), SP6 touch(n=47), and control group(n=76). For 30 minutes, the SP6 acupressure group received SP6 acupressure, and the SP6 touch group received SP6 touch for the duration of each uterine contraction. The Control group was encouraged to deep breath and relax for the duration of each uterine contraction for 30 minutes. Result: The rates of cesarean section were 12.8%, 29.8%, and 22.4% for the SP6 acupressure group, SP6 touch group, and control group respectively. There was a significant difference among groups (p=0.049). Cesarean section rateswere significantly different between the SP6 acupressure and non-SP6 acupressure group(p=0.035). Conclusion: This finding shows that 30 minutes of SP6 acupressure was effective in decreasing the cesarean section rate. Therefore, SP6 acupressure during labor could be applied as an effective nursing intervention.

Seven new species of two genera Scalarispongia and Smenospongia (Demospongiae: Dictyoceratida: Thorectidae) from Korea

  • Seven new species of two genera Scalarispongia and Smenospongia (Demospongiae: Dictyoceratida: Thorectidae) are described from Gageo Island and Jeju Island, Korea. Five new species of Scalarispongia are compared to nine reported species of the genus by the skeletal structure. Scalarispongia viridis n. sp. has regular ladder-like skeletal pattern arranged throughout the sponge body and has pseudo-tertiary fibres. Scalarispongia favus n. sp. is characterized by the honeycomb shape of the surface and is similar to Sc. flava in skeletal structure, but differs in sponge shape. Scalarispongia lenis n. sp. is similar to Sc. regularis in skeletal structure but has fibers that are smaller in size. Scalarispongia canus n. sp. has irregular skeletal structure in three dimensions and ladder-like which comes out of the surface and choanosome. Scalarispongia subjiensis n. sp. has pseudo-tertiary fibres and its regular ladder-like skeletal pattern occurs at the choanosome. Two new species of Smenospongia are distinguished from the other 19 reported species of the genus by the skeletal structure. Smenospongia aspera n. sp. is similar to Sm. coreana in sponge shape but new species has rarely secondary web and thin and thick bridged fibres at near surface. Smenospongia mureungensis n. sp. has very simple skeletal structure.

한국산 창선충(Nematoda: Dorylaimida)의 4기종 및 2미기록종 기재 (Description of Four New and Two Unknown Species of Soil Nematodes(Nematoda: Dorylaimida) from Korea)

  • 창선충목에 속하는 4 신종 및 2 미기록종을 기술, 도시하였다. Discolaimium gyeongiens n. sp. (경기짤룩창선충)은 체장인 1.6~1.7mm이고, c=37~41, 창침은 19~21$\mu\textrm{m}$이고, 구순부는 넓고, 전직장은 매우 짧은 것이 특징이다. Aporcelaimellus donghwaens n. sp. (동화육각창선충)은 체장이 2.8~2.9mm이고, c=4.0~4.5, 창침은 19~20$\mu\textrm{m}$이고, 창침확장부는 짧고, 식도장간변 판이 있고, 꼬리는 원추형인 것이 특징이다. Labronema korandus n. sp. (코란두수창선충)은 체장이 2.2~2.3mm이고, c=68~81, 창침은 27~28$\mu\textrm{m}$이고, 교접자는 61$\mu\textrm{m}$이고, 구순부는 연속되었고, 음문은 원형이고, 꼬리는 원통형이다. Zalophidera longus n. sp. (둥근순검선충)은 체장이 4.1~4.4mm으로 길고, c=107~130, 구침은 80~93$\mu\textrm{m}$으로 길고, 구침확장부가 큰 것이 특징이다. Discolaimoides bulbiferous (다산넓은창선충)과 Diphtherophora communis(칠곡둥근창선충)은 우리 나라에서는 처음으로 기록되었다.

Aniline 분해세균 Delftia sp. JK-2에서 분리된 catechol 2,3-dioxygenase의 특성 및 N-말단 아미노산 서열분석 (Characterization and N-Terminal Amino Acid Sequence Analysis of Catechol 2,3-dioxygenase Isolated from the Aniline Degrading Bacterium, Delftia sp. JK-2)

  • 단일 탄소원과 질소원 및 에너지원으로 aniline을 이용하는 Delftia sp. JK-2에서 분리 정제한 catechol 2,3-dioxygenase (C2,3O)의 특성과 N-말단 아미노산 및 DNA 서열을 분석하였다. C2,3O의 특성을 조사하기 위하여 aniline에서 배양한 Delftia sp. JK-2를 초음파 분쇄기로 파쇄하였으며, ammonium sulfate precipitation과 DEAE-sepharose로 정제하였다. 정제된 C2,3O의 고유활성(specific activity)은 약4.72 unit/mg이었으며, C2,3O는 catechol과4-methylcatechol 대해서 효소활성을 나타내었다. C2,3O는$30^{\circ}C$와pH 8.0에서 최적 활성을 나타내는 것으로 조사되었으며, $Ag^{+}$, $Hg^{+}$,그리고 $Cu^{2+}$는 Deftia sp. JK-2의 C2,3O 활성을 억제하였다. SDS-PAGE에 의해 측정 된C2,3O의 분자량은 약 35 KDa이었으며, N-말단 아미노산 서열을 분석한 결과, $^{1}MGVMRIG-HASLKVMDMDA- AVRHYENV^{26}$로 확인되었다. 이 N-말단 아미노산 서열은 Pseudomonas sp. AW-2와 Coma-monas sp. Js765의 C2,30와 일치하는 것으로 나타났으며, 얻어진 결과를 토대로 primer를 제작하여 polymerase chain reaction (PCR)을 실시하였다. PCR을 통해 얻어진 Delftia sp. JK-2의 C2,30유전자 DNA서열을 분석하여 상동성 조사를 하였다. DNA서열의 상동성 조사는 유추되는 아미노산 서 열로 바꾸어서 실시하였으며,그 결과 Deftia JK-2의 C2,3O는Pseudomonas sp. AW-2의 C2,3O(100%)와 Coma-monas sp. JS76S의 C2,3O(97%)에서 높은 상동성 이 확인되었다.

  • 捕食線蟲目 (Mononchida)의 4신종을 기재하였다; Iotonchus obtusus sp. n.는 체장이 2.8 mm, a=33, b=4.2, c=61, V=68, 口腔은 61${\times}$45 ${\mu}$m이고, 背部齒는 基部에 있고, 陰門突起가 있으며, 꼬리는 짧고 반원형이며 末端部의 표피는 두꺼운 것이 특징이다. Miconchus valvapapillatum sp. n.는 體長이 2.7-3.6 mm, a=29-36, b=4.1-4.5, c=18.4-21, V=65-69, 口腔은 53-61${\times}$29-33 ${\mu}$m, 交接刺는 132-137 ${\mu}$m, 復中央補助突起는 28-31개이며, 陰門 前後方에 5-8개의 연속적인 돌기를 가지며, 3쌍의 陰門腺이 있다. Clarkus koreanus sp. n.는 體長이 1.1-1.3 mm, a=27.5-28.8, b=3.5-3.9, c=12-14.5, V=60-64, 口腔은 24-28${\times}$13.5-15 ${\mu}$m이고, 口脣部는 잘 區劃졌고, 雙器는 背部齒에 대해서 후방에 있으며, 陰脣을 가진다. Coomansus ulsani sp. n.는 體長이 1.2-1.5 mm이고, a=23.5-26, b=3.4-3.8, c=13.6-14.8, V=65-68, 口腔은 36-39${\times}$21-23 ${\mu}$m이고, 口脣部는 잘 區劃졌고 口腔壁은 1줄의 가는 세로 隆起部가 있다.

  • Four new species of the spider genera Trilacuna Tong and Li, 2007, Orchestina Simon, 1882 and Hahnia C. L. Koch, 1841 are described from Korea; Trilacuna hansanensis n. sp., Orchestina infirma n. sp., Hahnia montana n. sp. and Hahnia implexa n. sp. The genera Trilacuna and Orchestina are reported from Korea for the first time.

Two New Microcionid Sponges (Poecilosclerida: Microcionidae) from Taedo Island, Korea

  • Two new marine sponges, Clathria (Clthria) jungtaedoensis n. sp. and Antho (Antho) hataedoensis n. sp. were collected in Taedo Island, Korea. C. (C.) jungtaedoensis n. sp. is similar to C. (C.) striata. The new species, however, has many small toxa and massive form. A. (A.) hataedoensis n. sp. is similar to A. (A.) inconstans from Gulf of Naples, Italy, but differs from the latter in the size of spicules. The toxa in the new species is about one third as long as A. (A.) inconstans's.

한국산 이리응애 속(진드기 목 이리응애 과)의 2신종 (Two New Species of Genus Phytoseius (Phytoseiidae, Acari) from Korea)

  • 지금까지 한국산 이리응애 과에 속하는 이리응애 속은 5종이 알려져있었다. 1989년과 1992년에 한국의 경기도와 전라북도 지역에서 채집한 이리응애를 동정한 결과 2신종이 확인되었는데, 이들 종은 Phytoseius (Phytoseius) seungtaii n. sp. (개암이리응애(과 Phytoseius(Phytoseius) sonunensis n. sp. (선운이리웅애)이었다. 이로써 한국산 이리응애 속은 7종이된다.

  • 한국산 미기록속인 홀쭉좀반날개속에 대한 조사결과 4종이 동정되었다. 이들 중 Gabrius ancoripenis n. sp.와 G. gladipenis n. sp.는 신종이었고, G. egens와 G. unzenensis는 한국 미기록종이었다. 이들에 대한 종 기재와 검색표를 제시하였다.
