여러 개의 목적함수와 운행시간제약을 가진 버스일정계획 (A Bus Scheduling Problem with Multiple Objective Functions and Travel Time Constraint)

  • A bus scheduling problem with multiple objective functions and travel time constraint is to determine the allocation of buses to customer service requests minimizing the number of buses and travel costs under the travel time restriction for each bus. For the scheduling, we first represent the scheduling problem using a graph and develop a hierarchical approach. Second, we develop a mathematical model based algorithm for the scheduling problem including heuristic methods. We tested the performance of the algorithm on instances with real data. As a result, the total number of buses and travel costs are reduced over about 10% comparing with that of current practice at the company.

  • ProfiBus provides real-time data communication among field devices in the EMU (Electrical Multiple Unit) and TCMS (Train Control Monitoring System). This paper presents an adapt to Train Communication Network for EMU using ProfiBus DP(Decentralized Periphery) mathod, which is the layer 2 DDLM(Direct Data Link Mapper) protocol of ProfiBus.

  • In this paper a protocol design for bus network communication between onboard signalling system and MMI(Man Machine Interface) will be presented and illustrated. Recently, many onboard signailling systems adopt hot standby for safety reasons. Hot standby is a method of redundancy in which the primary and secondary systems run simultaneously. It is convenient to use bus network(bus topology) in a hot standby system for communication between onboard signalling system and MMI. Because bus network is the simplest way to connect multiple clients such as onboard signalling system, MMI and etc. However, there are many problems when two clients want to transmit at the same time on the same bus. A effective protocol is necessary to solve that problems. We will describes protocol design which is useful when onboard signalling systems and MMIs are connected via RS485(Bus Network).

  • USB(Universal Serial Bus)는 최근 컴퓨터시스템에서 가장 인기 있는 인터페이스 중의 하나인데 이를 보다 확대하여 사용 시 즉, 다수의 디바이스들이 서로 연결되는 댁내망을 구성할 때는 버스대역을 시분할 다중화(TDM, Time Division Multiplexing) 방식으로 사용하는 USB의 특징상 버스대역의 병목현상을 초래하게 되는 데 이러한 상황을 보다 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 버스 대역 사용방안을 제안한다.

  • PURPOSES : It is desirable for buses to be parallel to the face of the bus shelter at a bus stop. In this way, passengers can safely use the buses without moving into the vehicle area. The study was a review of the current bus bay geometric guidelines, to determine whether they lead buses to stop parallel to the face of the bus shelter by analyzing vehicle trajectory. METHODS : A commercial software program for vehicle trajectory analysis was used under our assumptions about bus dimensions and geometric values. The final position of the bus was analyzed for multiple trajectory simulations, reflecting various geometric alternatives. RESULTS : Within the scope of the study, we concluded that the current design guidelines need to be revised by the design values suggested by the study. CONCLUSIONS : The results of the study suggested alternative design values for bus bay geometry, based on the assumption that buses should be parallel to the face of the bus shelter in order to prevent passengers from moving into the vehicle area.

전압붕괴 임계점 계산을 위한 효율적 통합법 (An Efficient Unified Method to Compute Voltage Collapse Point)

  • The saddle node bifurcation (SNB) and the distance voltage instability are valuable information in power system planning and operation. This paper presents a new efficient, robust and unified strategy to compute the SNB by the combined use of the continuation power flow (CPF), Point of Collapse (PoC) method, and the method of a pair of multiple load flow solutions (PMLFS) with Lagrange interpolation utilizing only their advantages: the approximate nose curves and critical loading are determined fast by Lagrange-interpolating two stable and two unstable solutions obtained by using the robust CPF and PMLFS; the exact SNB is computed by the quadratically converging PoC method. The proposed method has been tested on Klos-Kerner 11-bus, New England 30-bus, IEEE 118-bus and KEPCO 791-bus systems. The method is found to be so efficient that computation time for determining the SNB of the KEPCO 791-bus system is 17.82 sec by a notebook PC with 300 MHz Pentium processor.

다중 채널과 동시 라우팅 기능을 갖는 고성능 SoC 온 칩 버스 구조 (High Performance SoC On-chip-bus Architecture with Multiple Channels and Simultaneous Routing)

  • 현재까지 다수의 버스 프로토콜과 구조가 발표되었지만, 대부분 공유 버스 구조를 가져 시스템 성능 저하의 원인이 되었다. 기존의 공유버스가 갖는 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 고성능의 버스 프로토콜인 SNP (SoC Network Protocol)와 버스 구조인 SNA (SoC Network Architecture)가 제안되었는데, 이를 수정/개선한 버스 구조를 제안하고자 한다. 개선된 SNA는 다중 마스터의 다중 버스 요청에 대해 다중 라우팅을 지원함으로써 성능을 향상시켰으며, 내부 라우팅 로직의 최적화로 면적을 감소시켰다. 또한 성능감소 없이 AMBA AHB 프로토콜과 완벽히 호환 가능한 XSNP(Extended SNP)를 인터페이스 프로토콜로 사용한다. 현재 라우팅 로직을 최적화하여 개선된 SNA의 하드웨어 복잡도가 크게 증가하지 않았고, 기존 SNP를 사용하는 IP는 호환성 문제나 성능 감소 없이 개선된 SNA를 통해 통신할 수 있다. 더불어, SNA는 AMBA AHB와 인터커넥트 버스 매트릭스를 대체할 수 있으며, 다중 채널을 동시에 보장하고 다양한 토플로지를 지원가능 하도록 설계되어 사용하는 IP 수에 따라 설계자에 의해 다양한 토플로지를 선택할 수 있다. 한편, SNA는 적은 수의 인터페이스 와이어를 가지기 때문에 오프 칩 버스로도 사용될 수 있다. 제안된 버스 구조는 시뮬레이션과 어플리케이션 동작을 통해 검증이 완료되었다.

중형버스 다출구 덕트의 최적설계에 관한 해석적 고찰 (A Numerical Analysis on the Optimum Design of a Duct with Multiple Outlets in a Medium Bus)

  • The air distribution duct with multiple outlets is an essential part of automotive air-conditioning system In a bus. The estimation of airflow rate in an automotive air-conditioning duct is typically very complicate due to large variations in cross-sectional area and abrupt changes in flow direction, as well as unbalanced distribution of the flow. In this paper, the flow characteristic in a duct with multiple outlets is investigated through experiment, CFD simulation and a one-dimensional simulation. Numerical simulations have been performed for two simplified air conditioning ducts with multiple outlets used in a medium bus. The three dimensional Navier-Stokes code was used to evaluate the overall pressure, velocity Held, and distribution rate at each diffuser according to the change of various design parameters such as ratio of cross-sectional area and radius of bifurcated region. In addition, a one-dimensional program based on Bernoulli equation was developed to obtain optimized diffuser area required to equalize discharge flow rate at each outlet. As a result of this study, optimized diffuser area of design variable by one-dimensional program was very reasonable as compared to the trend deduced from CFD Simulation. Therefore, the simple and convenient one-dimensional analysis developed in this study can be applied in practical design procedure for air-conditioning duct.

Demonstration of RSOA-Based 20 Gb/s Linear Bus WDM-PON with Simple Optical Add-Drop Node Structure

  • We demonstrate a linear bus wavelength-reused gigabit wavelength-division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON) with multiple optical add-drop nodes. A commercially available reflective semiconductor optical amplifier-based WDM-PON has a sufficient power budget to provide multiple optical add/drop nodes in 16 WDM channels. Sixteen 1.25 Gb/s WDM channels are successfully transmitted over 20 km of single-mode fiber with four optical add/drop multiplexers, even with 32 dB reflection and chromatic dispersion in the link.

간략조류계산법과 전압안정도 평가예 관한 연구 (A Study on Finding of Simplified Multiple Load Flow Solutions and Evaluating of Voltage Stability)

  • This paper presents a new simplified method for finding the multiple load flow solutions and through their solutions the voltage stability can be evaluated. Line flow($P_{ij}$, $Q_{ij}$) may be formulated with the second-order equations for $V_{i}^{2}$ in polar coordinates or two circle equations for $e_{i}$ and $f_{i}$ in rectangular coordinates. Based on this feature, multiple load flow solutions are calculated with simple works, results of multiple load flow solutions are used for sensitivity analysis of voltage stability. Also, in the case that reactive power sources is considered, method of evaluating the voltage stability is introduced. The proposed method was validated to 2-bus and IEEE 6-bus system.
