  • 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 사용자 중심의 모바일 에이전트를 설계하였다. 이는 쌍방향 통신을 기반으로 제공되는 학습 콘텐츠에 대하여 사용자의 편의 및 학습 효율을 극대화 하기위한 방안으로 모바일 기기와 센서의 기술을 결합한 디바이스로 설계하였다. 사용자 중심 모바일 에이전트는 기존 학습시스템 기반의 사용과 동시에 모바일 환경에서 보다 효과적인 교육시스템을 확장하기 위한 방안이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 u-Learning 시스템에서 사용자중심 모바일 에이전트 설계의 결과 기존 LMS(Learning Management System)보다 적은규모로 보다 효과적인 사용자 정보 관리 및 학습 콘텐츠를 제공함으로써 차세대 교육환경에 획기적으로 기여 할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Recently a rapid development of Information Technology including Internet have brought new way of education such as Distance education, Cyber University, Home Schooling and so on. This change of education have also brought about the change of a tool and medium for education. It is a using multimedia contents in education. Using the multimedia learning contents on line education is considered as one of new way of education and expected to bring learner's better performance. Therefore, it's necessary to research online education contents and its design. In this paper, we discussed how the multimedia contents should be designed to help to reinforce what the learner have learned and researched a critical factor of online contents to effect on learner's better performance.

  • There has been a study about the effective multimedia education using a computer following the appearance of a virtual space. Also, there has been an effort to connect the information & communication technology with education. The popular on-line lecture systems are mostly on English lecture sites. However, they just offer the VOD(Video On Demand) services ignoring students' convenience. To improve these week points, we design and implement the multimedia leaching system focusing on an efficient repeat-effect in order that students can control the Media Player by clicking a sentence on a web page. This paper presents the Editor and Player considering students' interest and the effective learning fruits. So users can easily make multimedia materials and use them to improve their English listening skill.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the cognitive theory of Multimedia learning in a Smart Pad environment. Specifically, the viability of the multimedia principle and individual difference principle was tested for this study. To accomplish this, participants were divided into two groups based on their prior knowledge level (high/low), and members of each group were given one of two Smart Pad based programs, one text-based and the other text and image based. Results indicate that the use of images and the interaction between image use and prior knowledge did not have a significant effect on cognitive load levels. However, there were significant effects on learning achievement. This study implies that when developing Smart Pad based learning content, the small screen size compared to PC monitors, types and functions of images, and learning objectives should be considered.

  • In this paper, we are applied a nerve network to allow for the reflection of data learning methods in their overall forms by using cluster data rather than data learning by the stages and then selected a nerve network model and analyzed its variables through learning by the cluster. The CkLR algorithm was proposed to analyze the reaction variables of clustering outcomes through an approach to the initialization of K-means clustering and build a model to assess the prediction rate of clustering and the accuracy rate of prediction in case of new data inputs. The performance evaluation results show that the accuracy rate of test data by the class was over 92%, which was the mean accuracy rate of the entire test data, thus confirming the advantages of a specialized structure found in the proposed learning nerve network by the class.

  • In today's society, the paradigm is converted to information where both this and knowledge become the source of value added. In order to answer societies' needs school education is subject to a large change, that is 'from supplier-centered learners to demand-centered learners'. This study is the design and implementation of multimedia CAI program for learning about electricity in the meddle school the mechanics curriculum with a focus in generating electricity. Based on multimedia, software, educational utilization of the multimedia, CAI, learning theory and form, both technology and multimedia elements related to curriculum are analyzed. This title is composed of object, contents, evaluation and related sites every chapter for students to study. Also, it is designed for students to take interest and participate in the learning process actively by combining lots of media such as characters, sound, images and animation. Specially it is composed in a way of repetition according to the student's level.

The Development and Application for Multimedia Rich Project Based Learning (멀티미디어 기술을 활용한 프로젝트 학습 전략 개발 및 적용)

  • The purpose of this study is that after developing and applying multimedia rich project-based learning methods in a Korean Special high school(Industrial and Technical Area), to provide how the learners recognize the effectiveness for it and to obtain the implication from effectiveness which they recognized. This study was conducted as action research based on a high school situation. The study included 100 participants in two classes purposively selected from 9 classes at 450 student high school. Data were collected through observations, surveys and interview. Results indicated the multimedia rich project-based learning allowed students to understand the contents of major subject overall, improve the handling skill for computer multimedia and be better at investigating and organizing skill for subject content. Also, it allowed them to improve interaction among students and participation, motivation, satisfaction, interest and confidence for learning. And there was close cooperation with and among group members to create better products.. Finally, the flexibility in the project-based learning environment allowed the participants to make decisions about their abilities, resources, and plans. Recommendations and implications for teacher educators as well as inservice and preservice teachers are also presented.

  • This study aims to provide implications for mobile foreign language vocabulary learning app by analyzing the effects of mobile vocabulary learning app based on character animation. For this purpose, we applied the learning application designed with character animation and text, and the application designed with text only to two groups of learners, and analyzed the effect. As a result, we found that application designed with character animation and text was useful in recognition frequency and duration concerning learning. Regarding learning outcomes, we found that it is useful not only in memory but also in learning interest and motivation. This study provides implications for learning method and design development of mobile-based foreign language vocabulary learning application which actively using recently.

  • Useful It is very crucial to establish the learning environment with a creative technology for those who are going to learn English in terms of multimedia presentation. This kind of technologies make it possible for students to practice English suitable with their level and compatible with lesson plan. English grammar plays a leading role to study English as a second language for the language is required to master the structure, part of speech, and tense. The purpose of this study is to explore the a innovative English teaching and learning approach based on the multimedia presentation to teach English grammar with an effect for those students are studying English, when they are learning English grammar with power point or complex multimedia presentation.
