Design & Implementation of a Motion Capture Database Based on Motion Ontologies (온톨로지 기반의 모션 캡처 데이터베이스 설계 및 구현)

  • A framework for semantic annotation oi human motion sequences is proposed in this paper. Motion capture technology is widely used for manuiacturing animation since it produces high qualify character motion similar to the actual motion of the human body. However, motion capture has a significant weakness due to the lack of an industry wide standard for archiving and retrieving motion capture data. It is difficult for animators to retrieve the desired motion sequences from motion capture files as there is no semantic annotation on already captured motion data. Our goal is to improve the reusability of motion capture data. To archive our goal first, we propose a standard format for integrating different motion capture file formals. Our standard format is called MCML (Motion Capture Markup Language). It is a markup language based on XML (extensible Markup Language). The purpose of MCML is not only to facilitate the conversion or integration of different formats, but also to allow for greater reusability of motion capture data, through the construction of a motion database storing the MCML documents Second, we define motion ontologies that are used to annotate and semantically organize human motion sequences. This ontology-based approach provides the means for discovering and exploiting the information and knowledge surrounding motion capture data.

  • Existing Android applications for streaming video in real time are dependent on the codec, which composes the encoding function, and the version of Android operating system. Also, for streaming video in real time, most applications should be connected with a separate desktop PC. To overcome these disadvantages, we propose a new application, which records and streams video in real time. Specifically, the proposed application uses the flash video file format, which is the common media file format supported by various versions of Android operating system. Through experiments, we show that it is possible for the proposed application to record the video screens more than 20 frames per second and to stream it in real time while using the existing video encoding methods.

  • MPEG-4 is a digital bit stream format and associated protocols for representing multimedia content consisting of natural and synthetic audio, video and object data. This paper describes an application where multiple audio/visual data stream are combined in MPEG-4 and transported via MPTG-2 transport streams(TS). Also, this paper describes how to convert MPEG-4 Over MPEG-2 TS bit streams into MP4 file which Is designed to contain the media information of an MPEG-4 presentation in a flexible, extensible format. MPEG-4 is presented in the form of audio-visual objects that are arranged into an audio-visual scene by means of a scene descriptor and is composed of the audio-visual objects by means of an object descriptor. These descriptor streams are not defined MPEG-2 TS. So. this paper focuses on handling of these descriptors and parsing TS streams to get MPEG-4 data. The MPEG-4 Over MPEG-2 TS to MP4 format converter is implemented in the demonstrated systems.

  • Many applications are developed on variety type of mobile terminal with mobile tole-communication improvement. We suggest that we offer more improve multimedia environment on that development. So we design SWF player which supports Macromedia SWF file format. It is application that animation and graphic module are independent of system. In addition to, we implement SWF player on mobile communication environment. for the purpose of it, we adapt AKL concept, which is designed for the consistent interface on heterogeneous operating system environment.

  • 최근 딥러닝(Deep Learning) 기술이 다양한 분야에서 활용되고 있으며, 사전 학습된 딥러닝 모델에 대한 압축과 전송 방안에 관한 연구 또한 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이와 관련하여, 국제 표준화 기구인 ISO/IEC 산하 MPEG(Moving Picture Expert Group)에서는 인공신경망 모델을 다양한 딥러닝 프레임워크(Deep Learning Framework)에서 상호운용 가능한 포맷으로 압축 표현할 수 있는 NNC(Compression of Neural Network for Multimedia Content Description nd Analysis) 표준화를 진행하고 있다. 압축된 딥러닝 모델의 데이터를 효과적으로 저장하여 전송 및 사용하기 위해서는 ISOBMFF(ISO based Media File Format) 캡슐화 과정이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 MPEG의 NNC 표준에 따라 사전 학습된 딥러닝 모델을 압축한 후 이를 통해 생성된 비트스트림(bitstream)을 ISOBMFF로 캡슐화하기 위한 기술을 제안 및 실험한다. 또한, 실험에 대한 검증을 위하여 생성된 ISOBMFF 데이터를 비트스트림으로 복원한 뒤 복호화하여 입력 비트스트림과 차이가 없음을 확인한다.

A Digital Watermarking of 3D Geometric Model STL for Rapid Prototyping System (쾌속조형 시스템을 위한 3차원 기하학적 형상인 STL의 디지털 워터마킹)

  • In this paper, a new watermarking algorithm for STL files which contains 3D geometric information as triangular facets is proposed. STL files are widely used in rapid prototyping industry as a standard interchange format. The proposed algorithm inserts multi-bit watermark information into the surface normal vector and vertex description area of STL file without distorting the original 3D geometric information. According to the watermark bits, the position of normal vector and the direction of vertex sequence are modulated. The proposed algorithm is robust to the attack of changing the order of the triangular meshes. In addition, the invisibility requirement is also satisfied. Experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can encode and decode watermark bits into the various STL files without any distortion of 3D shape.

  • Generalization of the web, development of one-person media such as the blog and mini homepage, and integration of video digital devices have generalized multimedia video services on the web. However, flash videos, the previously used bit map-based multimedia videos, exhibit problems like the waterfall phenomenon, lag phenomenon, or non-synchronization of audios or videos. Thereupon, This study is conducted to suggest a converting technique to provide efficient web video service on the web by solving problems of bitmap-based flash video through file format-converting software and movie editing programs. And this paper also conducts experiments on five videos for 13 CODECs and analyzes converted results comparatively. The recommendable method considering the characteristics of each videos is to utilize MainConcept H.264 Video CODEC using SWF2Video pro. The result of this research can be used to produce web videos on the web more effectively.

  • Changes in internet and network environment make it possible to provide high-quality content services in real time. As demand for digital content is increased, problems related to intellectual property rights are getting more important. Streaming service like video-on-demand solved this problem by preventing content from being saved. But, as the advent of several tools able to save streamed content, the streamed content is not free from these problems any more. So, with security countermeasure like access control, new technologies to control and manage rights for content are needed. One of the solutions is DRM In this paper, we describe a DRM-based streaming service that can send the ASF stream which is the multimedia file format of Microsoft.

  • Today, we are confronted with huge amount of data which contain complex documents, images and multimedia contents. Therefore a new method is needed to analyze and manage the mathematical expressions and extract new Information from them. It is more and more important to manage the document files including mathematical expressions which are generated by general-purpose word processors. Three major word processors are shared over 90% of domestic market. These are HWP, TeX and MS word. Due to the progress of Internet and digital library, it is necessary to develop a system to manage the document file containing mathematical expressions over the Web.

  • In existing internet, e-mail protocols including POP3 and IMAP4, provide e-mail services for exchanging messages with texts, hypertext and images as well. For the e-mail services in wireless mobile network, mobile e-mail service Providers have to install a mobile exclusive e-mail server or have to convert e-mail to mobile exclusive e-mail with wireless application format in case of POP3 protocol. In the e-mail service of IMAP4 case known as web-mail, It is difficult to view e-mail directly from server without IMAP4 mobile client because e-mail is stored in mail server side with remote file server. In either case, it also has the problems of viewing the e-mail of hypertext and image information at mobile, This Paper Provides e-mail extraction engine with image and hypertext conversion facilities that can be applied in wireless mobile internet and it is optimized In mobile communication environments such as a small display, small size of memory with web-mail protocol based on IMAP4 as well as POP3 mail protocol.
