The distance join is a spatial join which finds data pairs in the order of distance between two spatial data sets using R-trees. The distance join stores node pairs in a priority queue, which are retrieved while traversing R-trees in a top-town manner, in the order of distance. This paper first shows that a priority strategy for the tied pairs in the priority queue during distance join processing has much effect on its performance, and then proposes an optimized secondary priority method. The experiments show that the proposed method is always better than the other methods in the performance perspectives.

Most approaches for continuous review inventory problem need tables for loss function and cumulative standard normal distribution. Furthermore, it is time-consuming to calculate order quantity (Q) and reorder point (r) iteratively until required values are converged. The purpose of this paper is to develop a direct method to get the solution without any tables. We used approximation approaches for loss function and cumulative standard normal distribution. The proposed method can get the solution directly without any iterative procedure for Q, r and without any tables. The performance of the proposed approach is tested by using numerical examples. The budget constraint of this paper assumes that purchasing costs are paid at the time an order is arrived. This constraint can be easily replaced by capacity constraint or budget constraint in which' purchasing costs are paid at the time an order is placed.
This paper proposes a novel scheme for the current controller for the grid-side converter (GSC) of permanent-magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) wind turbines to eliminate the high-order harmonics in the grid currents under grid voltage disturbances. The voltage unbalance and harmonics in three-phase systems cause grid current distortions. In order to mitigate the input current distortions, multi-loop current controllers are applied, where the positive-sequence component is regulated by proportional-integral (PI) controllers, and the negative-sequence and high-order harmonic components are regulated by proportional-resonance (PR) controllers. For extracting the positive/negative-sequence and harmonic components of the grid voltages and currents without a phase delay or magnitude reduction, composite observers are applied, which give faster and more precise estimation results. In addition, an active damping method using PR controllers to damp the grid current component of the resonant frequency is employed to improve the operating stability of VSCs with inductor-capacitor-inductor (LCL) filters. The validity of the proposed method is verified by simulation and experimental results.
With the advancement of intelligent vehicles and unmanned systems, there is a growing interest in underwater surveys using autonomous marine vehicles (AMVs). This study presents an automated planning strategy for a long-term survey mission using a fleet of AMVs consisting of autonomous surface vehicles and autonomous underwater vehicles. Due to the complex nature of the mission, the actions of the vehicle must be of high-level abstraction, which means that the actions indicate not only motion of the vehicle but also symbols and semantics, such as those corresponding to deploy, charge, and survey. For automated planning, the planning domain definition language (PDDL) was employed to construct a mission planner for realizing a powerful and flexible planning system. Despite being able to handle abstract actions, such high-level planners have difficulty in efficiently optimizing numerical objectives such as obtaining the shortest route given multiple destinations. To alleviate this issue, a widely known technique in operations research was additionally employed, which limited the solution space so that the high-level planner could devise efficient plans. For a comprehensive evaluation of the proposed method, various PDDL-based planners with different parameter settings were implemented, and their performances were compared through simulation. The simulation result shows that the proposed method outperformed the baseline solutions by yielding plans that completed the missions more quickly, thereby demonstrating the efficacy of the proposed methodology.
Container Vessel is becoming larger and faster thanks to the rapid growth of global trade and development of technology. Therefore, 15,000TEU vessel is expected to be ordered in near future. Every nations in north-east Asia are facing strong competition to be logistics hub to get the initiatives of logistics in response to the rapid change of logistics environment. According to the globalization of economy and major ports in this region also are trying to catch big shipping line for their survival. Considering above circumstances of the advent of ultra-large container vessel and spoke-and-hub strategy, it is inevitably necessary to make a fast and accurate vessel job in the terminal in order to be a leading port To meet this objective, current vessel planning system has to be improved innovatively. Therefore, this thesis propose multi distributed vessel planning system which enables multi loading/discharging planning with several planner simultaneously for faster and more accurate than existing planning and enhances quality of planning through information sharing among planners. Also this thesis uses simulation through Arena to verify the efficiency of this multi-distributed vessel planning system.

Objective: This study examined the effects of stimulating fingertip temperature on the patterns of force sharing and stability properties during multi-finger force production tasks. Method: 9 adult subjects (male: 3, female: 6, age: $26.11{\pm}4.01yrs$, height: $169.22{\pm}5.97cm$, weight: $61.44{\pm}11.27kg$) participated in this study. The experiment consisted of three blocks: 1) maximal voluntary contraction (MVC) task, 2) single-finger ramp task to quantify enslaving (i.e., unintended force production by non-task fingers), and 3) 12 trials of multi-finger steady-state force production task at 20% MVC. There were three temperature conditions including body-temperature (i.e., control condition), $40^{\circ}C$, and $43^{\circ}C$, and the stimulation was given to the index finger only for all experimental conditions. Results: There were no significant differences in the MVC forces, enslaving, and the accuracy of performance during the steady-state task between the conditions. However, the share of stimulated index finger force increased with the index fingertip temperature, while the share of middle finger force decreased. Also, the coefficient of variation of both index and middle finger forces over repetitive trials increased with the index fingertip temperature. Under the framework of the uncontrolled manifold (UCM) hypothesis used to quantify indices of multi-finger synergies (i.e., stability property) stabilizing total force during the steady-state task, the two variance components within the UCM analysis increased together with the fingertip temperature, while no changes in the synergy indices between the conditions. Conclusion: The current results showed that fingertip temperature stimulation only to index finger does not affect to muscle force production capability of multi-finger, independence of individual fingers, and force production accuracy by the involvement of all four fingers. The effect of fingertip temperature on the sharing pattern and force variation may be due to diffuse reflex effects of the induced afferent activity on alpha-motoneuronal pools. However, the unchanged stability properties may be the reflection of the active error compensation strategies by non-stimulated finger actions.
This article proposes a strategy for producing accident scenarios in quantitative risk, which is peformed in process design or operation steps. Present worldwide chemical processes need off-site risk assessment as well as on-site one. Most governments in the world require industrial companies to submit the proper emergency plans through off-site risk assessment. Korea is also preparing for executing Integrated Risk Management System along with PSM and SMS. However.
To make maximum benefit through the R&D investment, various methods is presented to support cooperating company in managing product information which reaches to conceptual design, detail design, production and a service from planning phase of production. Recently, the induction of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) is being accelerated to design the enterprising system which is various from the idea phase for a product plan to the elimination through the life cycle of the product by the major companies. This study is focused on the research and development of the major companies which is producing products like sets, parts and equipment. This study proposes the process of product strategy, goods planning, development, information and the renovation of decision-making system.

The information of localization is a fundamental requirement in wireless sensor network (WSN). The method of distance vector-hop (DV-Hop), a range-free localization algorithm, can locate the ordinary nodes by utilizing the connectivity and multi-hop transmission. However, the error of the estimated distance between the beacon nodes and ordinary nodes is too large. In order to enhance the positioning precision of DV-Hop, fast triangle flip bat algorithm, which is based on curve strategy and rank transformation (FTBA-TCR) is proposed. The rank is introduced to directly select individuals in the population of each generation, which arranges all individuals according to their merits and a threshold is set to get the better solution. To test the algorithm performance, the CEC2013 test suite is used to check out the algorithm's performance. Meanwhile, there are four other algorithms are compared with the proposed algorithm. The results show that our algorithm is greater than other algorithms. And this algorithm is used to enhance the performance of DV-Hop algorithm. The results show that the proposed algorithm receives the lower average localization error and the best performance by comparing with the other algorithms.
