Multi-sized 혼합입자의 충전 분율 해석 및 예측을 위한 소프트웨어 개발 (Software Development for the Analysis and Prediction of Packing Density of Multi-sized Mixture Particles)

  • 다양한 크기를 가진 다성분 입자의 충전분율을 정확하게 예측할 수 있는 소프트웨어 프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 다양한 크기의 염소산암모늄(Ammonium perchlorate, AP)과 알루미늄(Aluminum, Al) 입자와 혼합물에 대한 충전분율 측정실험을 수행하였다. 실험에 의해 얻어진 충전분율은 개발된 프로그램에 의해 예측된 값과 비교하였다. 크기가 다른 2종류 입자의 혼합 충전의 경우 상대오차가 0.25~13.13%, 3종류 입자의 혼합 충전의 경우 0.13~10.01%로 나타나 실험값과 잘 일치하였다. 목표 충전분율을 얻기 위한 각 구성입자의 질량분율 contour를 프로그램을 통하여 구할 수 있으며 이를 통하여 충전시스템을 최적화 할 수 있다.

  • In all contemporary superscalar processors, the result repositories are implemented as the Reorder Buffer(ROB) slots. In such designs, the ROB is a large multi-ported structure. There are several approaches for reducing the ROB complexity in processors. The one technique relies on a distributed implementation that spreads the centralized ROB structure across the function units(FUs). Each distributed component sized to match the FU workload and with one write port and one read port on each component. We are using M/M/1 Queuing theory to determine the number of entries in each ROB component that the performance of processor depends on. Our schemes are evaluated using the simulation of CPU2000 benchmarks.

Fabrication of Nano-sized Titanate Powders by an Ethylene Glycol Solution Route

  • Several titanate powders ($Al_2TiO_5,\;SrTiO_3$, etc.) were synthesized by an ethylene glycol solution route. Titanium isopropoxide and nitrate salts were dissolved in stoichiometric proportions in liquid-type ethylene glycol without any precipitation. The parent precursor sols were dried to porous gels, and then the gels were calcined and crystallized. All synthesized titanate powders had stable crystallization behavior at low temperature and high specific surface area after a simple ball-milling process. A three-component PZT $(Pb(Zr_{0.52}{\cdot}Ti_{0.48})O_3)$ powder was also synthesized successfully by the ethylene glycol method. In this study, the characteristics of the multi-component titanate powders by the ethylene glycol method are examined.

  • In this study, recently, more highly effective construction materials are needed for a reasonable cause and economical structure system is required as the construction structures become more multi storied, large-sized and diversified. Also, the experiment was not carried out to investigate and analyzed the strength properties and flowability of ultra-high strength accroding to the types of mineral admixtures. Therefore, this is an experimental study to compare and analyze the influence of cementitious materials type on the fluidity and the strength properties of ultra-high strength concrete. For this purpose, it has decided to do the mix proportions of concrete according to the type of cementitious materials (fly ash, blsat furnace slag, silica fume, slag cement) and W/B(23.5, 27.5, 31.5%) has selected. And then we conducted an experiment to find out basic properties of the ultra-high strength concrete such as slump-flow, O-lot and the age of specimens(3, 7, 28, 56days) for compressive strength.

Properties of the metallic glass thin films fabricated by multicomponent single alloying target and its applications in various industrial fields

  • Metallic glass alloys having dense packing structure have short range ordered structure with long range homogeneity. Therefore, they can provide complete corrosion protection and unique electrical properties. Recently, metallic glass thin films have received much attention to extend its application fields combining with PVC coating technologies. The metallic glass thin films can change the surface properties of the conventional bulk materials which need anticorrosion properties. However, multi-component alloying targets are required to fabricate the metallic glass thin films because metallic glass alloys contain more than three elements. Recently, many researchers have been reported the properties of the metallic glass thin films synthesized with multi-cathode systems or amorphous target. But, it is difficult to fabricate the large sized sputtering targets for mass production equipment with high toughness and thermal stability. In this study, newly developed sputtering target with glass forming ability and the properties of the metallic glass thin films will be introduced with respect to the various application fields such as bipolar plate in PEM fuel cell and decorative coatings for electric device and construction fields.

CNN 기반의 와일드 환경에 강인한 고속 얼굴 검출 방법 (Fast and Robust Face Detection based on CNN in Wild Environment)

  • Face detection is the first step in a wide range of face applications. However, detecting faces in the wild is still a challenging task due to the wide range of variations in pose, scale, and occlusions. Recently, many deep learning methods have been proposed for face detection. However, further improvements are required in the wild. Another important issue to be considered in the face detection is the computational complexity. Current state-of-the-art deep learning methods require a large number of patches to deal with varying scales and the arbitrary image sizes, which result in an increased computational complexity. To reduce the complexity while achieving better detection accuracy, we propose a fully convolutional network-based face detection that can take arbitrarily-sized input and produce feature maps (heat maps) corresponding to the input image size. To deal with the various face scales, a multi-scale network architecture that utilizes the facial components when learning the feature maps is proposed. On top of it, we design multi-task learning technique to improve detection performance. Extensive experiments have been conducted on the FDDB dataset. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms state-of-the-art methods with the accuracy of 82.33% at 517 false alarms, while improving computational efficiency significantly.

경부에 발생한 새열낭 (branchial cleft cyst)의 증례보고 (A CASE REPORT OF BRANCHIAL CLEFT CYST IN THE NECK)

  • Branchial cleft cyst is the most common lateral neck cyst; the vast majority are of the second branchial cleft origin. This presumably reflects the greater depth and longer persistence of the second cleft, compared with the first, third, and fourth clefts. We experienced a 49-year-old male whose chief complaint was a abnormal mass of the left parotid gland area and neck. As a result of careful analysis of clinical, radiological, and histopathological findings, we diagnosed it as a second branchial cleft cyst in the neck and obtained results as follows: 1. In clinical examination, there was a 10×15㎝ sized, fluctuant painful mass in the left neck and parotid area. 2. In radiographic examination, a low echogenic mass with internal cystic change in the inferior parotid gland area was noted sonographically. Computed tomograph showed a 3×4㎝ sized, well-defined cystic mass with heterogenous solid component in the anterior border of sternocleidomastoid muscle. MRI revealed 5×6㎝ sized, well-marginated multi separated mass in the same area. 3. In histopathological examination, lining of cyst was stratified squamous epithelium with typical lymph node pattern and inflammatory cell infiltration.

직접패턴형 SnO2 박막의 전도성 나노구조체 첨가연구 (Direct-Patternable SnO2 Thin Films Incorporated with Conducting Nanostructure Materials)

  • There have been many efforts to modify and improve the properties of functional thin films by hybridization with nano-sized materials. For the fabrication of electronic circuits, micro-patterning is a commonly used process. For photochemical metal-organic deposition, photoresist and dry etching are not necessary for microscale patterning. We obtained direct-patternable $SnO_2$ thin films using a photosensitive solution containing Ag nanoparticles and/or multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNTs). The optical transmittance of direct-patternable $SnO_2$ thin films decreased with introduction of nanomaterials due to optical absorption and optical scattering by Ag nanoparticles and MWNTs, respectively. The crystallinity of the $SnO_2$ thin films was not much affected by an incorporation of Ag nanoparticles and MWNTs. In the case of mixed incorporation with Ag nanoparticles and MWNTs, the sheet resistance of $SnO_2$ thin films decreased relative to incorporation of either single component. Valence band spectral analyses of the nano-hybridized $SnO_2$ thin films showed a relation between band structural change and electrical resistance. Direct-patterning of $SnO_2$ hybrid films with a line-width of 30 ${\mu}m$ was successfully performed without photoresist or dry etching. These results suggest that a micro-patterned system can be simply fabricated, and the electrical properties of $SnO_2$ films can be improved by incorporating Ag nanoparticles and MWNTs.

공진 주파수를 고려한 차량 섀시 부품의 피로해석 (Fatigue Analysis of Vehicle Chassis Component Considering Resonance Frequency)

  • The purpose of this raper is to assess the benefits of frequency domain fatigue analysis and compare it with more conventional time domain techniques. The multi-body dynamic analysis, FE analysis and fatigue life prediction technique are applied for the frequency domain fatigue analysis. To obtain the dynamic load history used in the frequency domain fatigue analysis, the computer simulations running over typical road Profiles are carried out by utilizing vehicle dynamic model. The fatigue life estimation for the rear suspension system of small-sized passenger car is performed by using resonance durability analysis technique, and the estimation results are compared with the conventional quasi-static durability analysis results. For the pothole simulation, the percent changes, of the fatigue life between the two durability analysis techniques don't exceed 10%. But for the Belgian road simulation because of the resonance effect, the fatigue life using the resonance durability analysis technique are much smaller estimated than the quasi-static durability analysis results.

  • 자바 언어는 객체지향성, 안전성, 유연성으로 인하여 현재 가장 널리 쓰이는 프로그래밍 언어의 하나가 되었으며, 자바 가상머신이 제공해주는 메모리 관리기 및 가비지 컬렉터로 인하여 프로그래머는 메모리 관리에 관한 많은 고민이 줄어들었다. 본 논문에서는 임베디드용 자바 가상 머신에서 구현된 메모리 관리기 및 가비지 컬렉터에 대해서 제안한다. 메모리 관리기는 힘을 다양한 크기의 셀로 분할한 후 통일한 셀의 집단인 블록 단위로 관리하여 빠른 메모리 할당과 해제가 가능하다. 가비지 컬렉션 방법으로는 3-색상 기반 표기-쓸어담기 가비지 컬렉터를 기반 알고리즘으로 채택하였으며 멀티쓰레드를 지원하기 위해 새로운 4-색상 기반 표기-쓸어 담기 가비지 컬렉터를 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 메모리 단편화가 발생하지만 객체 생성수가 많아짐에 따라 단편화율이 거의 일정함을 실험을 통해 보인다.
