Smart composite repetitive-control design for nonlinear perturbation

  • This paper proposes a composite form of fuzzy adaptive control plan based on a robust observer. The fuzzy 2D control gains are regulated by the parameters in the LMIs. Then, control and learning performance indices with weight matrices are constructed as the cost functions, which allows the regulation of the trade-off between the two performance by setting appropriate weight matrices. The design of 2D control gains is equivalent to the LMIs-constrained multi-objective optimization problem under dual performance indices. By using this proposed smart tracking design via fuzzy nonlinear criterion, the data link can be further extended. To evaluate the performance of the controller, the proposed controller was compared with other control technologies. This ensures the execution of the control program used to track position and trajectory in the presence of great model uncertainty and external disturbances. The performance of monitoring and control is verified by quantitative analysis. The goals of this paper are towards access to adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services, promotion of inclusive and sustainable urbanization and participation, implementation of sustainable and disaster-resilient buildings, sustainable human settlement planning and manage. Therefore, the goal is believed to achieved in the near future by the ongoing development of AI and control theory.

  • The cooling load in winter is significant in many commercial buildings and hotels because of the usage of office equipments and the high efficiency of wall insulation. The development of a multi-heat pump that can cover heating and cooling simultaneously for each indoor unit is required. In this study, the performance of a multi-heat pump with 3-piping system was investigated as a function of refrigerant charge and its performance was analyzed in cooling mode, heating mode, and heat recovery mode. COP in the heating or cooling mode showed little dependence on refrigerant charge at overcharge conditions, while those were strongly dependent on refrigerant charge at undercharge conditions and outdoor inlet temperature. In the heat recovery mode, the performance of the system was very sensitive to charge amount at all conditions. Optimum charge amount in the heat recovery mode was 14% lower than that in the cooling mode at the standard condition because the refrigerant only passed the indoor units. It is required to store the excessive refrigerant charge in a storage tank to optimize the system performance at operating modes.

  • Recent developments in multi-storey buildings for residential purpose have led to the extensive use of shear walls for the basic structural system. When the coupled shear wall system is used, joined together with cast-in-place concrete or mortar (or grout), the function of the continuous joints is a crucial factor in determining the safety of L.P. Precast concrete shear wall structures, because the function of the continuous joints(Vertical wall to wall joints) is to transfer froces from one element(shear wall panel) to another, and if sufficient strength and ductility is not developed in the continuous joints, the available strength in the adjoining elements may not be fully utilized. In this paper, the influence of the stiffness of vertical joints(wet vertical keyed shear joints) on the behaviour of precast shear walls is theoretically investigated. To define how the stiffness of the vertical joints affect the load carrying capacity of L.P.Precast concrete shear wall structure, the L.P.Precast concrete shear wall structure is analyzed, with the stiffness of the vertical joints varying from $K=0.07kg/mm^3$(50MN/m/m) to $K=1.43kg/mm^3$(1000MN/m/m), by using the continuous connection method. The results of the analysis shows that at the low values of the vertical stiffness, i.e. from $K=0.07kg/mm^3$(50MN/m/m) to $K=0.57kg/mm^3$(400MN/m/m), the resisting bending moment and shearing force of precast shear walls, the resisting shearing force of vertical joints and connecting beams are significantly affected. 복합용도 초고층빌딩에 대한 개별주차정보제공 알고리즘 개발 (Development and Effectiveness of Private Parking Information Algorithm)

  • 대형 쇼핑몰과 멀티플랙스 등과 같은 복합용도의 초고층 건물은 일반 건축물에 비해 주차시설의 규모가 크고 주차장 내 외부를 연결하는 유출입구의 수가 증가하는 특징을 나타내며, 이러한 특징은 주차장 내부에서의 차량 운행거리를 증가시켜 내부통행에 대한 혼잡이 발생하고, 주차 공간을 찾기 위해 운전자가 주차장을 배회함으로써 차량의 공회전이 증가할 뿐만 아니라, 주차 후 운전자의 보행동선을 증가시키는 등 운전자에게 주차로 인한 많은 어려움을 겪게 하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 건물의 방문 목적 및 운전자의 이동경로에 따라 운전자에게 최적의 주차장소를 지정해주는 개별 주차정보제공 알고리즘을 개발하였으며, 개발된 알고리즘을 평가하기 위하여 제2롯데월드 신축 부지를 사례 지역으로 선정하고 평가를 수행하였다. 평가 결과 기존 주차정보제공 알고리즘에 비해 개별주차정보제공 알고리즘을 적용할 경우, 주차장 내 이동거리는 7.43~83.4% 정도 감소하는 것으로 분석되었으며, $CO_2$ 배출량의 경우 평균 47.7% 정도 감소하는 것으로 분석되어 개별주차정보제공 알고리즘 적용에 따른 그 효율성이 매우 큰 것으로 분석되어 적용효과를 검증하였다.

조선시대 성곽 장대의 건축특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Characteristic Jang-Dae of Castle in the Joseon Dynasty)

  • 본 연구는 조선시대 성곽 축성의 기술적 변화 가운데 하나인 장대를 중심으로, 장대의 건축적 특성을 시론적으로 고찰한 연구이다. 장대는 장수의 지휘시설 및 장졸들의 훈련시설로 성내에 마련된 건물이다. 장대가 최초로 건립된 시기는 불분명하지만 18세기를 전후로 하여 그 수가 급격히 증가하였다. 이는 왜란과 호란을 거치며, 장대의 실효성에 대한 인식이 대대적인 축성사업에 적용되면서 나타난 결과이다. 장대는 조망의 기능이 최우선시 되었기 때문에 높은 지형에 개방적인 형태로 설치되었다. 또한 강변 경사지에 위치한 읍성 누각의 높고 개방적인 형태는 내부에서의 유관(遊觀)과 더불어 장대의 기능을 병행할 수 있었다. 또한 장대는 병사들의 교련과 사열이 이루어지는 장소였기 때문에 병사들을 소집하기 위한 넓은 대(臺)가 전면에 구성된다. 이러한 특징은 조선시대 장대의 공간구성에서 정형화된 형식으로 나타나며, 지형적인 제약으로 인해 넓은 공간이 확보될 수 없는 곳은 대의 형태만을 갖추었다. 한편, 장대에는 지휘관이 위치하는 장소로서의 위계성이 다양한 건축적 특성으로 나타난다. 높이차를 통해 지휘관의 공간에 위계성이 부여되고, 건물의 격을 높이고자 여러 장식적인 요소들이 가미되었다. 장대 건물의 평면은 크게 장방형과 정방형으로 구분되는데, 장방형 평면은 건물의 규모에 따라 $5{\times}4$칸과 $3{\times}2$칸이 일반적이다. 이 중 $5{\times}4$칸의 건물은 넓은 공간을 활용할 수 있는 평지성이나 읍성에서 나타나며, 비교적 소규모인 $3{\times}2$칸은 주로 산성에서 나타난다. 정방형 평면의 건물은 모두 $3{\times}3$칸의 형태를 가지며, 어칸 길이는 협칸의 약 두 배가 되어, 내부 중앙칸이 넓게 마련된다. 이는 내부 중앙칸이 상층의 바닥 면적이 되기 때문에 상층의 내부 공간을 확보하기 위한 의도로 파악된다. 장대의 일부는 내부에 층을 두어 상부공간을 구성한다. 하층이 개방되고 상하층에 처마를 달아낸 중층누각형식은 장대에서 나타나는 중요한 건축특징 중 하나이다. 이러한 건물들은 하층의 내진주가 그대로 연장되어 상층의 변주가 되는 온칸물림방식을 보여주며, 내진주에 멍에창방을 끼우고, 귀틀을 결구하여 상층마루를 구성하였다. 또한 읍성에 위치한 누각은 상부에만 지붕이 구성되어 중층이라고 할 수는 없지만, 높은 누하주를 세우고 상부에 청방을 결구하여 상층마루를 구성하였다.

  • A station is not only the public space where socially diverse classes get together and cultural interchanges occur but also the personal and emotional space where the meeting and parting occur for each individual. Thus, it is necessity to consider this dual point from the beginning of the plan to make the simple, comfortable, intuitive and friendly environment for the users in the station. Also, it should be capable of active life style of moderner according to the change of the city environment. Furthermore, as a station is not just a single-purpose space anymore but the versatile space where fulfills the user's needs for the multi-function and the desire for diversity. As the station in these days opened 24 hours for users with the modern, commercial and cultural facilities, the interior design for a station needs to be designed to be easy to use, functional and able to vitalize the environment. In order to make a desirable interior environment in a station, first of all, it is required to grasp the characteristic of the space by analyzing the phenomena of an individual or a group act in a existing space formed by the interrelation between the human and the environment. To reduce the resistance against the new environment from the user, in other words, to increase the satisfaction, it is necessity to induce the behavior of the users to the desirable way toward to the new environment. Consequently, positive methodology with recognitive approach through cognitive psychology, spatial behavior research is required.

가로수관련 문제유형의 관계론적 해석 - 인천광역시 중앙공원길을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Inter-Relational Interpretation of Street Plant Issues - Focus on Central Park Road in Incheon Metropolitan City -)

  • Generally, trees lining the streets are the most easily accessible green areas in the city and constitute the smallest basic unit in the formation of the urban linear green axis. This study attempts to interpret issues related to city trees from a comprehensive and relational viewpoint. The site of this study is Central Park Street in front of Incheon Metropolitan City Hall. This street is representative of those in Incheon City. This study is an inter-relational interpretation of issues by measuring the vitality of these trees. The following are results of this study: First, the vitality of city trees is higher in those trees growing in natural ground than those growing in plant gratings. This observation can lead to budget savings and increased natural areas in the city. Also, if planter and multi-layering planting methods are introduced where damage to trees is predicted, variation to urban landscape can be achieved while linking to reinforced rearing foundation of street-side trees. Second, there is need for a holistic approach to caring for street-side trees regarding the damage caused by drastic pruning and strong street lights. The typical functions of these trees, like supplying freshness in summer, absorbing solar radiation, and controlling the urban micro-climate are closely related to the vitality of the trees. Accordingly, the function and ecology should be understood holistically, not separately. In this aspect, the functional and ecological use of the multi-layering planting method is effective in protecting pedestrians from vehicles as well. Third, the fallen leaves of monotonous rows of trees have different ecological and functional effects. Not only is the index of greenness in the urban setting increased, but there are also aesthetic and symbolic effects. Fourth, in spite of being the street along which Incheon Metropolitan City Hall, major administrative buildings and Central Park are located, this street does not have its own special identity to discriminate it from other streets. It fulfills only functional criteria based on uniformity. If there is no paradigm shift from today's street system based on vehicles, the role of landscape architecture will be very passive in regards to street-side trees, the minimum unit of urban green. Fifth, on this particular street, many trees were planted in December, which reflects a deficiency of short and long-term strategy, like a street-tree master plan. In this aspect, we still lack a mature culture concerning these trees as a basic unit in urban greenery. Furthermore, there needs to be cultural introspection concerning present administrative practices.

아파트 단지의 보행효율성에 관한 연구 - 단지 내 보행로를 중심으로 - (An Study of Pedestrian Efficiency in Apartment Complexes - Focused on Pedestrian Path in Apartment Complexes -)

  • This study aims to investigate how easy pedestrians get around within/through the "Apartment Complexes (AC), " a common style of high-rise multi-family housing in Korea. Over the past six decades, the AC has been the most conventional way to provide standardized housing efficiently to address the problems of the shortage of housing and the substandard housing, due to the explosion of urban population with the rapid industrialization. The AC is a huge chunk of homeogenous multi-family housing, mostly condos with decent infrastructure, including parks, pedestrian passages, schools, ect. Both in the new town development and urban renewal programs have utilized the advantages of the AC. Since the design principals of AC tend to adopt the "protective design" to prevent cars and pedestrians coming outside from passing it, it has been criticised for dissecting the continuity of socioeconomic context in neighborhoods. The neo-traditional planning urbanists, including Jane Jacobs, emphasize that smaller blocks and grid road newtworks are the key in improving social, cultural, and economic vitality of the neighborhoods, because these design concepts allow more pedestrians and different types of people to be mixed in a neighborhood. In this study, we first adopted objective measures for pedestrian accessibility and pedestrian efficiency. These measures were used to calculate the lengths of shortest paths from residential buildings to the edges of AC. We tested the difference in shortest paths between the current pedestrian networks of AC and hypothetical grid networks on the AC, and the relative difference is considered as the pedestrian efficiency, using the network analysis function of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Python programming. We found from the randomly selected 30 ACs that the existing non-grid road networks in ACs are worse than the hypothesized grid networks, in terms of pedestrian efficiency. In average, pedestrians in AC with the conventional road networks have to walk than 25%, 26%, and 27% longer than the networks of $125{\times}45m$, $100{\times}45m$, and $75{\times}45m$, respectively. With the t-test analysis, we found the pedestrian efficiency of AC with the conventional network is lower than grid-networks. Many new urbanists stress, easiness of walking is one of the most import elements for community building and social bonds. With the findings from the objective measures of pedestrian accessibility and efficiency, the AC would have limitations to attract people outside into the AC itself, which would increase dis-connectivity with adjacent areas.

지하층-지반 운동학적 상호작용을 고려한 기초저면의 설계지반운동 산정 (Extracting Foundation Input Motion Considering Soil-Subterranean Level Kinematic Interaction)

  • 대부분의 초고층 건물은 지상 구조물과 주차와 상가 용도 등으로 사용되는 복수층의 지하 구조물로 구성된다. 지하층은 초고층 건물의 지진응답에 큰 영향을 줄 수 있지만 내진설계에서 이의 영향이 명확하게 규명되지 않았다. 국외에서 가장 널리 사용되는 고층 구조물 내진설계 지침서에서는 지하층은 모델링하되 주변 지반은 모사하지 않으며 지하층-지반 운동학적 상호작용을 고려하여 계산된 기초 저면의 운동을 적용할 것을 권장하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지하 1층과 5층 구조물에 대한 동적 해석을 수행하여 지하층 저면에서의 운동을 계산하였으며 자유장 운동과 비교하였다. 수치해석 결과를 내진설계 지침서에 제시된 상호작용을 고려하는 두가지 방법과 비교한 결과, 지하 1층의 경우 이 중 한가지 방법이 해석결과와 잘 맞지만 지하 5층의 경우 지침서에 제시된 방법은 큰 차이가 발생하는 것으로 나타났다.
