NAFTA 지역 경기변동의 영구적 요인과 일시적 요인 (Permanent and Transitory Factors of the Business Cycle in the NAFTA Region)

  • 본 논문에서는 북미자유무역협정(NAFTA) 지역의 경기변동을 살펴본다. 이를 위해 경기변동의 전형적 특징인 주요 변수들간의 동조성(co-movement)과 확장/수축기간의 비대칭성을 감안하는 동시에, 경기변동을 초래하는 영구적 요인과 일시적 요인을 모두 포괄하는 모형을 구축하였다. 김창진(1994)이 제시한 칼만 필터에 기반한 근사적 최우추정법을 활용하여 모형을 추정한 후, 추정된 두 요인의 움직임에 기반하여 NAFTA 지역내 경기변동의 국면이 달라지는 전환점(turning point)을 규명하였다. 추정된 두 요인은 경기변동상의 추세와 사이클을 잘 반영하는 것으로 나타났으며, 경기확장기에 비해 급격하고 짧은 경기수축국면, 변수들간의 동조성, 그리고 확장기와 수축기간의 국면 전환 등 경기변동의 전형적인 모습들이 이 지역내에서도 확인되었다. NAFTA의 발효 이전과 비교하여, 발효 이후에는 경기변동 충격의 변동성과 지속성이 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 한국과 NAFTA 지역 경기변동간의 동조성을 측정한 결과, NAFTA 발효 이후에 두 지역 간의 경기변동 동조성이 크게 증가한 결과를 얻었다.

  • This study showed a way to develop web site of shopping mall through systematic identification of the interface elements affecting user's performance and subjective sensibility for Internet shopping mall. To quantify the effects of factors, simulators were designed and used in experiments. It was shown that location of 'Table of Contents'(left > right = up = down) and 'Menu' type(non_Drop down and page Movement = Drop down and page Movement > Drop down and non_age Movement) were the significant factors. However, whether 'Frame' was used or not, there was no significant difference. Also, in the evaluation of subjective sensibility, 'Background color' was a significant factor. And for 'Header & Scanning Column color', yellow color had a tendency to enhance satisfaction for 'simplicity', while green or blue color strengthened 'balance' feeling. But 'text style' was not significant.

판 구조론 학습에 사용되는 시각적 표상이 판구조론 개념에 대한 고등학생들의 응답에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Visual Representation in Plate Tectonics Topics on High School Students' Conceptions on Plate Tectonics)

  • This study aimed to investigate the high school students' conceptions about the plate tectonics through visual representation. For this purpose, the subjects were 67 students in 11th-grade high schools in Chungbuk. In order to in-depth understand the students' conceptions about plate tectonics, so the investigator conducted a semi-structured interview. The conclusions were as in the following. After learning the plate tectonics, the students had the alternative conceptions associated with terminology, colors' meanings, plate-related melting, plate's movement, plates' boundaries, mantle's physical conditions, driving forces for plate movement, and they had the organic relations about colors' meanings, mantle's physical conditions, and driving forces of plate movement. Also, the visual representation used to teach plate tectonics influenced on the students' responses about terminology, plates' boundaries, plate-related melting and the mantle's physical features, also this study found the factors of visual representation causing the learners to create alternative conceptions. These results implicated the importance of teacher's role in identifying the students' interpretation process on visual representation, and it needed to improve the factors creating students' alternative conceptions about visual representation and to study the factors further.

무빙 포스터 디자인을 구성하는 요소 연구 (A Study on the Elements of Moving Poster Design)

  • This study analyzed the factors consisting moving poster design. In order to analyze the elements of moving poster, the researcher reorganized the elements of moving posters by referring to the previous studies on printed posters, motion graphics and works of moving posters. In this study, moving poster components were classified into 'communication', 'visual and form', and 'sound'. In 'communication' section, moving posters had narrative elements, including scenes, because of the time and movement added by the poster's original function. The 'visual and form' section was classified into graphics, layouts, movement, and time. Graphics refered to various graphic objects constituting the screen such as photo, illustration, typography, color, diagram. Layout means screen layout, size, and orientation of the screen. Movement section was divided into 'subject of movement' and 'attributes of movement'. Time was classified physical time such as playing time and subjective time felt by the audience. Also, the researcher categorized 'sound' as an additional section, since most moving posters did not include sound.

  • Variation of viewing position of the observer is one of factors of image distortion in the stereoscopic display. A rotation movement of the observer makes the stereoscopic image distortion and that is caused by different horizontal position of each eye of the observer. It is different from horizontal and depth directional movement of the observer. In this paper, we showed the numerical simulation result about the distortion analysis and the correction of the stereoscopic image in rotation movement of the observer.

중학교 수학학습요소의 학교급간 이동에 대한 분석 (The Study on the Movement of Mathematics Contents among School Levels)

  • This study was based on the analysis of changes in curriculum of elementary mathematics curriculum, and changes in curriculum of middle school and high school mathematics curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the movement of learning contents among the school levels based on the middle school mathematics curriculum and to summarize the influence on the curriculum of middle school mathematics according to the movement of learning contents. The research conducted according to the purpose of this study is as follows. First, we analyzed the trends of mathematical contents between elementary and middle schools after the movement of ten mathematics curriculums. Second, we analyzed trends of learning factors after mobility and mobility between middle school and high school. Third, the characteristics of 'the contents of mutual movement based on middle school' and 'the contents deleted from middle school' were analyzed. The results of this study are expected to reflect on current and past curriculum and to give meaningful implications to the composition of new curriculum.

신경외과 병동에 적용한 Vancomycin 내성 장구균의 감염관리 전략효과 및 균집락의 위험인자 분석 (Effects of Infection Control Strategies & Analysis of Risk Factors for Vancomycin Resistant Enterococci)

  • Objectives: This study was intended to check if the "Creating Clean Wards" project, which is an innovative reinforced campaign activity targeting infection control strategies and active surveillance cultures for VRE (vancomycin resistant enterococci) high-risk patients to be admitted in the NS (neuro-surgery) wards, would be reduced the incidence rates of VRE acquisition, transmission rates. Methods: 75 subjects of the VRE high-risk patients were surveyed by carrying out active surveillance cultures of VRE colonization 11 times from January to March, 2012. And the retrospective study was conducted dividing them into two groups. Results: The incidence rates of VRE acquisition was reduced to 3.67 cases per 1,000 patients day in the control group and to 2.88 cases in experimental group, which was not statistically significant (p = .753). VRE transmission rates of 0.0015 per day before the project tended to increase to 0.0019, although not statistically significant (p = .650). As a result of multivariate analysis with regard to using glycopeptide antibiotics in order to find out risk factors of VRE colonization, the patients who had been treated with glycopeptide until VRE colonization showed 274.41 times higher rate. Conclusion : For effective VRE infection control in NS wards, We should carry out active surveillance culture regularly, especially patient of using glycopeptide. And block the spread of VRE by strengthening infection control through the strict isolation and the changed mind-set of members motivated by the "Creating Clean Wards" campaign.

On wave propagation of football ball in the free kick and the factors affecting it

  • In this research, the researcher has examined the factors affecting the movement of the soccer ball and will show that the effects such as air resistance, altitude above sea level, wind, air pressure, air temperature, air humidity, rotation of the earth, changes in the earth's gravitational acceleration in different areas. It, the geographical length and latitude of the launch point, the change of gravitational acceleration with height, the change of pressure with height, the change of temperature with height and also the initial spin (Magnus effect) affect the movement of projectiles (especially soccer ball). We modelled th ball based on shell element and derive the motion equations by energy method. Finally, using numerical solution, the wave of the ball is studied. The influences of various parameters are investigated on wave propagation of the ball. Therefore, in short, it can be said that the main factors that play a major role in the lateral deviation of the hit ball are the initial spin of the ball and the wind.

한라산 아고산대에서의 사면 물질 이동 (Slow Mass Movement on a Subalpine Slope of Mount Halla, Jeju Island)

  • 한라산 표고 1,710m에 발달한 나지 표층에 2개의 페인트 라인을 설치하여 자갈의 이동량을 관측하고, 이동 프로세스와 관련된 요인을 검토하였다. 관측 기간에 발생한 자갈의 이동량은 평균 58.2cm로서 일평균 이동 거리는 0.24cm이다. 계절별로 비교하면 동결기 0.3cm에 대하여 비동결기는 0.05cm에 불과하여 표층 자갈은 주로 동결기에 주빙하 프로세스를 통하여 이동하고 있다. 특히 서릿발 포행을 비롯한 동상 포행이 자갈의 이동을 주도하고 있다. 사면 경사각의 영향은 관측 기간 내내 측선 II의 이동량이 측선 I보다 큰 결과에 반영되어 있지만, 암괴와 식생이 자갈의 이동을 방해하므로 절대적이지는 않다. 자갈의 크기와 비중도 이동량에 관여하는 요인으로서 특히 스코리아의 작은 비중이 매우 큰 이동량을 가져왔다.

Evaluation of Body Movement during Sleep with a Thermopile, Wavelets and Neuro-fuzzy Reasoning

  • 체동은 수면 분석에 있어서 중요한 변수중의 하나이다. 본 연구에서는 수면 중에 발생하는 체동을 비접촉 방식으로 검출하기 위하여 4채널의 써모파일 검출기를 구현하였으며, 써모파일 센서를 이용한 방식의 체통 검출 가능성을 확인하기 위해 열적외선 카메라를 통해 획득한 영상을 써모파일의 수학적 모델에 적용하였다 합성된 체동 신호는 Haar 웨이브렛을 이용하여 변환함으로써 체통이 발생한 시점과 움직임의 크기를 상체 및 하체로 나누어 순간 체동을 검출하였다. 또한 뉴로-퍼지 알고리즘인 ANFIS를 이용하여 발생한 체동이 상체만 움직인 것인지 또는 하체만 움직인 것인지 또는 몸 전체가 움직인 것인지에 대한 부위별 체동을 검출하였고, 총 3명의 피험자에 대해 60분간의 데이터를 획득하여 실험한 결과 순간 체동과 부위별 체통에 대해 각각 평균 96.3%와 39.2% 의 검출률을 나타냈다.
