섬진강 상류 지역의 민가건축에 관한 연구 -평명유형을 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristics of the Folk Houses in the Upper Area of Seomjin River -focused on the generating housing floor plans-)

  • This study aims to find the characteristics of the folk houses in the upper area of Seomjin river in the view point of generating housing floor plans by their human and natural elements of environment. Because they are formed differently as them and have the characteristics as the houses in the upper area of Seomjin river. Seomjin river flows from mid-west area of the Korean peninsula to the southern sea. This is about 212.3km long and the fourth in the south of the Korean peninsula. It is surrounded high mountains in the upper area and makes open field in the mid and lower area of river. The study is surveyed and analyzed to the folk houses of the middle and lower class people in the area of Seomjin river. Because they have been formed by their natural and human elements of environment gradually. They are 35 houses - 13 in Jinan-kun, 4 in Imsil-kun, 10 in Namwon city, 10 in Sunchang-kun. They are analyzed by their floor plans and their spatial relations. The result of this study is that they are made by their natural and human elements of environment. There are some houses with semi-several wings and with storage that are appeared in the mountain village. It reflects that they are surrounded by high mountains. And there are some houses with wooden floor room that are appeared in the area of river little in the area of mountain. To prevent wind from the river the houses are layouted as a form . open ㄴ type, open ㄷ type, and their wall is made of stone and planted bamboo trees around their houses.

지형요소를 활용한 전라도 논매기소리의 공간분포와 전파에 관한 연구: 아리시고나 류, 산아지 곡, 방게 류를 사례로 (A Study on the Spatial Distribution and Diffusion of Rice-paddy Weeding Songs Using the Geomorphic Elements in Jeolla-do: A Case of Arishigona, Sanaji and Bang-gae)

  • In this study, the effect on the spatial distribution and diffusion of Arishigona, Sanaji and Bang-gae appearing in Jeolla-do was analyzed using geomorphic elements. Based on result, the AriShigona is distributed in the western plains of the Yeongsan River basin and around from the Noryeong mountain range to Mudeung mountain range, the Sanaji is mainly diffused in the middle and upper parts of the Seomjin River and the lower parts of the Mangyeong River, Dongjin River and the Boseong River basin, and the Bang-gae is found to be distributed in the Seomjin River and the upper part of the Yeongsan River basin. Although the cultural centers of these Rice-paddy Weeding Songs are different but they appear to have a similar distribution pattern in Jeolla-do. This is used as a diffusion path of cultural elements by crossing lineaments in various directions and serving bridge role at the same time. However, in the region where the lineaments do not intersect, the continuity of Rice-paddy Weeding Songs are relatively low, which are considered to be reflected in the spatial distribution and propagation of the sound due to the influence of the drain network rather than the lineament. The results of this study can provide basic data for spatial distribution of Rice-paddy Weeding Songs, and regionality and cultural division by diffusion characteristics.

한강수계 상위고도 하천의 저온성 및 산악성 부착조류군집 (The Community of Cryophilic and Mountain Periphyton at High Altitude Streams in the Han-river System)

  • The community of periphyton was studied at high altitude streams of the Han-river System, including Buk-stream and Hangae-stream from October to November 2010. The study had special emphasis on the distribution of the cryophilic and mountain periphyton. In this research, 117 taxa of periphyton appeared and 80 taxa of diatom were included within these periphytons. Saproxenous taxa, such as Achnanthes convergens and Hannaea arcus var. subarcus were appeared in most sites, 7 sites were dominant by filamentous taxa in green and blue green algae. The DAIpo value was from 48.8 to 92.5 for the water system of this research. Most sites showed a good water quality, receiving a B class or above except the Woljeong-stream and the Daeki-stream. Cryophilic and mountain periphyton appeared 9 taxa which composed by diatoms Cymbella affinis, Cymbella tumida, Diatoma mesodon, Diatoma vulgare, Eunotia pectinalis, Hannaea arcus, Hannaea arcus var. subarcus and Synedra inaequalis and green algae Ulothrix zonata. Among these taxa, Hannaea arcus var. subarcus, found in 29 out of 33 sites, had the highest frequency of apperance. The relative frequency of Hannaea arcus var. subarcus was positively correlated with altitude($r^2$=0.539) and negatively correlated with water temperature($r^2$=0.338). As a result, Hannaea arcus var. subarcus showed the characteristics of cryophilic and mountain periphyton in the research site.

  • This Study is about the wetlands in the GyunggiDo Mountains. It is written in the point of the hydrogeomorphology, geology, and soil. And it has accessed to ecological environment. Wetlands are divided into mountain wetlands and river wetlands by location, relief, processes, hydrology, and the type of inlet and outlet of water in wetlands. Mostly mountain wetlands are formed by the process of destruction of mountain slope. So they are to be located in the knickpoint. Therefore the underground surface is visible and underground water is rising or leaking. At this process, the environment forming wetlands are made by soil that was influenced by geology and composed by fine and very fine granules.

  • Recent development of industry and urbanization in the interior of mountainous area increases the possibility of occurence of natural disaster, such as flood, landslide and deblis-flow. Erosion control facilities, which were the most significant activity to riverbed fixiation, were constructed at the downstream of the experimental basin. In the mountain torrents, the complex bed load transport has occurred by the drift of running water, and resulting in a formation of terrace deposits. Especially, channel migration caused by scouring and deposition frequently occurs at the wide areas of the river bed. Consequently, the unsymmetrical river bed charactristics indicate the degree of the channel migration.

Earthquake safety assessment of an arch dam using an anisotropic damage model for mass concrete

  • The seismic safety of concrete dams is one of the important problems in the engineering due to the vast socio-economic disasters which may be caused by collapse of these infrastructures. The accuracy of the risk evaluation associated with these existing dams as well as the efficient design of future dams is highly dependent on a proper understanding of their behaviour due to earthquakes. This paper develops an anisotropic damage model for arch dam under strong earthquakes. The modified Drucker-Prager criterion is adopted as the failure criteria of the dynamic damage evolution of concrete. Some process fields and other necessary information for the safety evaluation are obtained. The numerical results show that the seismic behaviour of concrete dams can be satisfactorily predicted.

  • The geographical location of Ondal cave is situated between Danyang's cave zone and Yang wol's Kossi cave. The cave is situated at 37$^{\circ}$ 03' North latitude and 128$^{\circ}$ 29' of east longitude and is administratively located in Hari, Yongchun Myen, Danyang Gun, Chung Chong Bug Do. In the light of its natural location, It is situated on the southern side of Nam Han river's water system and in the fort mountain which includes Ondal hill-fort and its mountain range's peak, Nam San.(omitted)

우량계의 밀도 및 공간분포 검토: 남한강 유역을 중심으로 (Evaluation of Raingauge Density and Spatial Distribution: A Case Study for Nam Han River Basin)

  • 본 연구에서는 강우가 공간적으로 균질하며 아울러 그 공간상관구조도 지수함수를 따른다고 가정하여 남한강 유역의 강우관측망을 평가하였고 아울러 WMO의 기준과 비교하였다. 그 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. (1) 남한강유역은 WMO의 기준으로 볼 때 산지도 평지도 아닌 중간적 특성을 나타낸다. 그러나 남한강 상류부에서 관측된강우의 공간상관거리는 남한강 하류부에서 관측된 강우의 공간상관거리에 비해 짧게 나타나며 따라서 상류부와 하류부는 그 강우특성이 구별된다. (2) 남한강 유역의 강우관측망을 평가하는 기준은 대략 상위 50% 정도를 대표하는 상관거리 수준이 되어야 할 것으로 보이며 이 경우 적절한 우량계 사이의 거리는 상류부와 하류부 각각 18.2km와 21.1km로 추정된다. 단순히 강우계의 밀도를 평가할 때 남한강의 경우는 WMO의 산지기준을 초과하는 수준이다. (3) 남한강 유역의 우량계 분포를 검토한 결과, 특히 WMO의 온대지역 산지기준을 적용한 결과 우랑계의 공간분포가 적절하지 않음을 파악할 수 있었다. 그러나 본 연구에서 제안하는 상위 50% 정도를 대표하는 상관거리를 이용하는 경우에는 대략 5 - 6 지점 정도의 우량계 신설이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

태풍 힌남노 홍수로 인한 산지 중소하천의 하도 변화 분석 - 포항 신광천 및 냉천을 사례로 - (Analysis of Channel Changes in Mountain Streams Due to Typhoon Hinnamnor Flood - A Case Study on Shingwangcheon and Naengcheon Streams in Pohang -)

  • 본 연구에서는 태풍 힌남노에 의해 발생한 홍수로 인해 초래된 포항 신광천 및 냉천 하도의 지형 변화를 분석하였다. 항공사진 및 드론 영상을 이용하여 과거로부터 최근까지 하도의 평면적 변화를 분석한 결과 1960년대 이래로 하폭이 점차 감소였으나 홍수 이후 하폭이 다시 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 드론 및 현장 조사를 통한 홍수 전후의 단면 변화를 보면 만곡부 내측에 다량의 토사가 퇴적되었고 외측에서는 하안 침식이 발생하였다. 오어저수지의 자료와 빈도홍수량을 이용하여 홍수 전 단면을 기초로 HEC-RAS를 이용하여 산정한 홍수위는 실제 관찰된 수위에 비해 크게 낮았는데, 이는 홍수로 인한 단면 변화가 반영되지 않은데 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구의 결과를 고려할 때 중소하천의 홍수위 산정 시 토사 운반으로 인한 단면 변화를 고려하는 것이 중요하며 홍수 직후의 지형학적 변화를 조사하는 것이 필요하다.
